Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Harvest Thank You Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Harvest is one of my favorites from the current July – December Mini Catalog, so I was happy to use it for another fall Thank You card. And I decided to combine it with the quaint Harvest Meadow and rustic In Good Taste designer series papers for a sweet country look. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

My card was inspired by the Nature’s Beauty Color Challenge at Sunday Stamps SSC269:

I adhered a panel of Harvest Meadows designer series paper to a Misty Moonlight mat and popped it on the front of a Gray Granite Card base with dimensionals. I cut a stitched rectangle using the rustic wood grain In Good Taste designer series paper, adhered it to a Basic Black mat and then adhered it to the card front with liquid glue.

I stamped the pretty coneflowers from the beautiful Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Harvest cling stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black on Basic White and colored it with Stampin’ Blends. I used Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Cinnamon Cider and Soft Suede. Then I cut it out with the coordinating die and popped it on the card front with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Harvest stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black on Old Olive and cut it out with the small label die. I adhered it to the card with dimensionals and glue dots. I made a triple loopy bow with Linen thread and adhered it with a glue dot and finished the card front with champagne rhinestone gems.

For the inside of the card, I inked up the coneflower stamp with Gray Granite ink and stamped off twice before stamping the image on a Basic White panel. I trimmed the bottom with the Harvest Meadow DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The beautiful coneflowers from the Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Harvest stamp set are really fun to color and they always come out beautiful! Thanks for stopping by!

Stampin’ Up! Nuts About Squirrels Hello Card

Good Morning! Oh My Gosh – the Stampin’ Up! Nuts About Squirrels photopolymer stamp set is the cutest squirrel stamp set ever! For today’s card, I made a Fall hello card with one of the little guys and used and embossed Pumpkin Pie panel as the background and I just love how it came out. You can find the currently available supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I embossed a panel of Pumpkin Pie with the Bark 3D embossing folder (this embossing folder shrinks a little, so I embossed a panel 1/8″ wider and cut it to size after embossing). I adhered a strip of Beauty of the Earth designer series paper to the front and adhered the panel to an Early Espresso mat. I wrapped it with Crumb Cake baker’s Twine and made a bow, then adhered it to the front of a Sahara Sand card base.

I stamped the outline squirrel from the Stampin’ Up! Nuts About Squirrels stamp set in Early Espresso on a Basic White panel and stamped the filler in Sahara Sand. I am amazed at how wonderful this two step process turns out! I stamped the bottom of the acorn in stamped off Cinnamon Cider and the acorn top in Soft Suede. I stamped the tree branch in Soft Suede and inked the leaves in bumblebee and used a sponge dauber to add touches of Old Olive (I cleaned off the stamp each time to keep my Bumblebee ink pad green-free). After all the leaves were stamped, I stamped the leaf veins in Bumblebee. I cut the little guy out with the largest Layering Circle die and cut out a scalloped circle from Early Espresso to adhere to the back.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Nuts About Squirrels stamp set in Early Espresso on Sahara Sand and hand trimmed a banner flag end with my paper snips. I adhered it to an Early Espresso mat and trimmed the banner end before adhering it to the squirrel with glue dots. I adhered the little squirrel to the card front with dimensionals.

For the inside of the card, I stamped a couple of tree branches in Soft Suede and a bunch of falling leaves in Bumblebee and Old Olive on a Basic White panel, just like the front. And of course I had to stamp the cute little sentiment from the Banner Year photopolymer stamp set in Early Espresso! I trimmed the bottom with Beauty of the Earth DSP before adhering the panel to the inside of the card.

The little squirrel from the Stampin’ Up! Nuts About Squirrels stamp set is so cute and mischievous! It’s perfect for sending some cheerful Fall greetings to, well everyone! The two step stamping process works wonderfully for the images, but you can also color these little guys with markers or watercolors

Stampin’ Up! Gorgeous Leaves for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good morning! Welcome to the Inkin’ Krew Monthly Blog Hop! The theme for this month’s hop is “Giving Thanks” and I’m using the Stampin’ Up! Gorgeous Leaves bundle to make a Thanksgiving card. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I embossed a panel of Very Vanilla with the Timber 3D embossing folder and adhered it to a Merry Merlot mat with liquid glue. I adhered the embossed pane to the front of a Merry Merlot card base with dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment from the Sparkle of the Season photopolymer stamp set in Early Espresso on Very Vanilla and cut it out with the label die from the Tasteful Labels dies. I cut the larger label from Merry Merlot and adhered them together with liquid glue.

I stamped the leaves from the Stampin’ Up! Gorgeous Leaves cling stamp set in Daffodil Delight, Cajun Craze and Cinnamon cider and cut them out with the coordinating dies. I used the Intricate Leaves dies from the bundle to cut out the remaining detailed leaves from Crumb Cake, Soft Succulent and Pear Pizzazz card stock and arranged them cascading down the side of the card.

I adhered the leaves to the card front with liquid glue, and adhered the layered label over the leaves with dimensionals. I made a triple bow with linen thread and adhered it under the label with a glue dot. I finished the card front with three brushed copper metallic dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the leaves from the Stampin’ Up! Gorgeous Leaves stamp set around the bottom and top of a Very Vanilla panel in Daffodil Delight, Cajun Craze and Cinnamon Cider. I stamped the sentiment from the Sparkle of the Season stamp set in Early Espresso next to the leaves and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

Every card I see made with the Stampin’ Up! Gorgeous Leaves bundle is beautiful, and the bundle is really easy to play with! There are no sentiments, but the combination of the artistic stamps and detailed dies is perfect for creating all kinds of fall masterpieces!

Stampin’ Up! Welcoming Woods Thank You Card

Good Morning! Have you seen the beautiful Stampin’ Up! Welcoming Woods photopolymer stamp set? I finally got a chance to play with it this week and I love it!! I have seen several cards with a beautiful sunset and I wanted to make one and I am so happy with how it came out and how easy it was to do! You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I was inspired by the As You See It Challenge #260 – Perpendicular for my card design:

I started by using Blending Brushes to apply So Saffron, Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze inks on a Basic White panel, blending them darker towards the bottom of the panel. Then I blended Pool Party, Bermuda Bay and Misty Moonlight to create the sky. This was so pretty and so easy! I stamped the trees from the Stampin’ Up! Welcoming Woods stamp set twice across the panel in Soft Suede to create the woods and cut it out with the third largest Stitched Rectangles die.

I stamped the leaves from the Stampin’ Up! Welcoming Woods stamp set in Pumpkin Pie and stamped the ground in Evening Evergreen. Note that I masked the tree from the second stamping each time so the ground would be behind the trees. I adhered the panel to a Sahara Sand mat. I stamped the sentiment in Evening Evergreen on a Sahara Sand strip and adhered it to a strip of Sahara Sand Tidings of Christmas DSP. I finished the panel with a small Cajun Craze leaf die cut from the Intricate Leaves dies and a Linen Thread bow.

I embossed a Soft Suede panel with the Bark 3D embossing folder and adhered a strip of Tidings of Christmas DSP to the side with liquid glue. I adhered the panel to the front of a Sahara Sand card base with liquid glue and adhered the art panel on top with dimensionals.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the last tree from the Stampin’ Up! Welcoming Woods stamp set in Soft Suede on the side of a Basic White panel. I stamped some Pumpkin Pie leaves by the tree and in the top corner and adhered another strip of Christmas Tidings DSP to the bottom. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

I drove on some of the country roads by my house this morning and saw so many of the trees starting to change color, so the pretty Fall Foliage is on it’s way! The Stampin’ Up! Welcoming Woods stamp set perfectly captures that look and feel. And this stamp set has some of the most beautiful sentiments!

Stampin’ Up! Beauty of Friendship Thinking of You Card

Good Monday Morning! It was such a somber weekend, I hope you had an opportunity to have a little fun. Today’s I have a simple card made with the Stampin’ Up! Beauty of Friendship bundle and the Beauty of the Earth designer series paper. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Beauty Of Friendship photopolymer stamp set in Misty Moonlight ink on Basic White and cut it out with the long skinny label die from the Beautiful Trees dies. I wrapped it with a length of linen thread and tied a bow on the end. I embossed a small panel of Misty Moonlight with the Bark 3D embossing folder and adhered the label to the embossed panel with dimensionals.

I adhered a small strip of the wood grain Beauty of the Earth designer series paper to a larger panel of DSP with liquid glue and adhered the panel to a Misty Moonlight mat. I adhered the label to the panel and popped the panel on the front of a Merry Merlot card base.

I cut a small Cinnamon Cider panel with the small bird die and adhered one of the birds to the card front on top of the label.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the tree trunk from the Stampin’ Up! Beauty of Friendship stamp set on the side of a Basic White panel in stamped off Early Espresso ink. I stamped the detailed tree top in stamped off Misty Moonlight, Merry Merlot and full strength Crumb Cake, so that it would have a multi-color look. I stamped the sentiment in Misty Moonlight ink and adhered the other bird to the tree. I adhered a strip of Beauty of the Earth DSP to the bottom of the panel and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The Beauty of the Earth designer series paper is so pretty and peaceful, so it doesn’t need much for a pretty card. I hope you like it and I hope you have a great week!

Stampin’ Up! Gorgeous Leaves for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! Can you believe that it’s September already! Since it is, I had to get the Stampin’ Up! Gorgeous Leaves bundle to make fall cards. Boy, am I glad I did the leaves really are gorgeous and the dies are beautiful too! You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

We have a sketch challenge this week for our Blog Hop and here’s the pretty card sketch we’re using:

I adhered a panel of the woodgrain Beauty of the Earth designer series paper to the front of an Early Espresso Card base. I stamped the wood grain stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Gorgeous Leaves cling stamp set in PoolParty ink all over a Basic White panel. I stamped both in full strength and stamped off so that it fades in and out. Then I randomly stamped the leaves in Bumblebee, Cajun Craze and Cinnamon Cider – I love how the leaves have speckles around them!

The Stampin’ Up! Gorgeous Leaves stamp set has two spatter stamps – one with large spatters and the one I used, with fine spatters. I inked the small spatter stamp with Early Espresso ink and stamped around the panel, both full strength and stamped off until I got the look I wanted. I embossed the panel with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder and adhered it to an Early Espresso mat and then to the card front.

I cut the large detailed leaf from the Intricate Leaves dies from the Sale A Bration Be Dazzle specialty paper and colored it with the Cajun Craze Stampin’ Blend. I cut two smaller detailed leaves from Bumblebee and Early Espresso and adhered the leaves to the card with glue dots. I adhered a bow made with a double strand of Linen Thread and stamped the sentiment from the Love of Leaves photopolymer stamp set in Cajun Craze ink on Pool Party. I trimmed the ends of the sentiment with the Banners Pick A Punch and adhered it to the card front with dimensionals. I finished it with a copper Brushed Metallic dot.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the leaves from the Stampin’ Up! Gorgeous Leaves stamp set in stamped off Cinnamon Cider on a Basic White panel. I stamped and embossed a strip of Basic White just like the art panel on the card front and adhered it to the bottom of the panel. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Gorgeous Leaves bundle is a wonderful bundle for making fall cards. The stamped images are so realistic and beautiful and the dies are fabulous. This is one of my favorite leaf stamps of all time!

Stampin’ Up! Enjoy The Moment Friendship Card

Happy Friday! The Stampin’ Up! Enjoy the Moment is one of the pretty nature themed cling stamp sets from the Annual Catalog. It’s perfect as fall approaches because it’s full of different seed pods like the ones you see outside with the falling leaves. I decided to combine it with the birch trees print from the Sale A Bration Peaceful Prints designer series paper for a simple friendship card. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered a panel of the Peaceful Prints birch trees paper to a Soft suede mat and wrapped it with linen thread and tied a knot to the side. I adhered the panel to the front of a Soft Suede card base with dimensionals.

I stamped a Basic White panel with the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Enjoy The Moment stamp set in Soft Suede ink. I stamped the sycamore pods next to the sentiment, also in Soft Suede ink.

I cut the panel with the third smallest Stitched Rectangles die and adhered it to a Soft Suede mat. I adhered the panel to the card front with dimensionals over the linen thread and adhered a little bumblebee trinket to the panel with a glue dot.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sycamore pods from the Stampin’ Up! Enjoy The Moment stamp set in Soft Suede ink in the upper corner of a Basic White panel. I adhered a strip of the Peaceful Prints birch trees DSP to a Soft Suede mat and adhered it to the side of the panel. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The stampin’ Up! Enjoy The Moment stamp set has pretty natural images and wonderful sentiments. The Peaceful Prints designer series paper is a wonderful Sale A Bration item that is FREE with a $50 order before shipping and taxes. It has lots of pretty holiday prints in addition to the pretty birch trees!

Stampin’ Up! Garden Birdhouses Hello Card

Happy Friday! Today I am sharing a Hello Card that uses the sweet Stampin’ Up! Garden Birdhouses photopolymer stamp set. This is a fun little set with three different bird houses that you can use to build a sweet garden scene. I only used one of the houses and the gorgeous hello sentiment, but I definitely need to use it some more before the summer is gone. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I was inspired by the pretty sketch in Try Stampin’ On Tuesday Challenge #519 to use pretty designer series papers to go with the stamp set:

So I adhered a panel of Beauty of the Earth designer series paper to a Soft Suede mat and wrapped it with a length of Bumblebee Gingham Ribbon and made a bow. I adhered a panel of Cork specialty paper on top and adhered the panel to the front of a Mossy Meadow card base with dimensionals.

I stamped the birdhouse from the Stampin’ Up! Garden Birdhouses photopolymer stamp set in Early Espresso ink on Basic White. I fussy cut it with my paper snips. I used my water painter and Crumb Cake and Misty Moonlight inks to color it with a slightly damp brush. I was careful not to touch the Early Espresso ink, and I tried to keep it to a minimum since the Basic White paper is not great for water painting. This gave it a rough look which looks ok for something that stays outside. I stamped the two birds in Cinnamon Cider ink and fussy cut them too. I also colored them with my water painter and Misty Moonlight ink.

I stamped the branches from the Stampin’ Up! Garden Birdhouses stamp set in stamped off Mossy Meadow ink on Basic White and stamped the sentiment in Early Espresso underneath. I used the rectangle window die from the Window Flower Box dies to cut it out. I adhered the birdhouse with dimensionals and the little birds with glue dots and adhered the little scene to the card with Stampin’ Seal. I finished the card with three bronze Brushed Metallic Dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the birdhouse from the Stampin’ Up! Garden Birdhouses stamp set in Early Espresso ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the post underneath in Early Espresso and stamped the branch in stamped off Mossy Meadow. I stamped the little birds on the birdhouse in Cinnamon Cider and colored them with my water painter and Misty Moonlight ink. I adhered a strip of Beauty of the Earth DSP to the bottom of the panel and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Garden Birdhouses stamp set is so cute and sweet and it’s perfect to capture idyllic summer backyard scenes. Can you hear the birds chirping?

Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Harvest Thinking Of You Card

Good Morning! Today I have a floral card made with the pretty Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Harvest Bundle. This is a sweet, versatile bundle and I chose to stamp and color the coneflowers for today’s card. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I embossed panel of Harvest Meadows designer series paper with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder and adhered it to a Soft Suede mat. I cut a cork panel with a Stitched Rectangles die and adhered it to the layered panel before adhering the panel to the front of a Poppy Parade card base.

I applied some adhesive sheet to the back of an Early Espresso panel and cut out the branch from the Harvest dies. I peeled off the adhesive sheet cover and adhered the branch to the card front. I cut a small piece of Diamond Weave ribbon and adhered it with glue dots.

I stamped the coneflowers from the Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Harvest cling stamp set in Early Espresso on Basic White and cut it out with the coordinating die. I colored it with Old Olive, Calypso Coral, Poppy Parade, Cinnamon Cider and Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends and adhered it to the card with dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment from the Beauty of Friendship stamp set in Versamark ink on Soft Suede and sprinkled it with white embossing powder. I shook off the excess and heat set the powder with my Heat Tool and cut it out with the small long Stitched Rectangles die. I adhered the label to the card with dimensionals and glue dots and finished the card front with three brushed metallic gems.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Harvest stamp set in Early Espresso ink on Basic White and stamped the coneflowers on the side after stamping off three times. I embossed another strip of Harvest Meadows designer series paper with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the bottom of the panel. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

With summer waning, the coneflowers are prominent in the gardens and the red ones are my favorite (I guess I need to get some). The Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Harvest coneflowers captures the beauty and feeling of these hot days perfectly!

Stampin’ Up! Wild Cats Birthday Card

Good Monday Morning! I hope you had a wonderful weekend and a fun Father’s Day! For today’s card I pulled out the Stampin’ Up! Wild Cats bundle and In the wild designer series paper for a jungle themed birthday card. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

My card fits perfectly with the cool TGIF Technique Challenge #TGIFC321 going on this week:

I used the Picture This rectangle die to cut windows in a Soft Succulent panel and embossed it with the cool Animal Print embossing folder. Then I cut panels of the images I wanted from the In The wild designer series paper and adhered them to the back of the embossed panel with pieces of dimensionals. You can see how I adhered them in this picture. I did this so that I could position the tiger and leopard in the cutouts the way I wanted. I then added more dimensionals to the back of the embossed panel and glue dots to the back of the DSP and adhered the panel to the front of a Cajun Craze card base.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Wild Cats photopolymer stamp set in Cajun Craze ink on a strip of Crushed Curry and cut it out with the Messages die – I love how you can cut sentiments from so many different stamp sets with this die! I adhered the label in the center window with dimensionals.

I cut two of the small leafy plants and the two vines from the Big Cats dies from Evening Evergreen card stock and adhered them to the card front with glue dots and dimensionals.

I made a triple bow with Linen Thread and adhered it to the card front with a glue dot and finished it with three Cinnamon Cider square jewels.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Happiest of Birthdays stamp set in Cajun Craze ink in the center of a Basic White panel. I stamped the leaf cluster from the Stampin’ Up! Wild Cats stamp set around the top and the sentiment in Evening Evergreen ink. I trimmed the bottom with a strip of the In The Wild DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

I wanted to make a card featuring the fierce cats from the In The Wild designer series paper and the Picture This dies are the perfect way to highlight the cats in this beautiful DSP. The sentiments from the Stampin’ Up! Wild Cats stamp sets are so fun and I think this card would be great birthday card for anyone! Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!
