Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! The Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies bundle is a beautiful floral set that will be available next week when the new 2023-2024 Annual Catalog launches. I paired it with the retiring Country Gingham 6″ x 6″ designer series paper for a note card. You can find the currently available supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a sketch challenge for our Blog Hop this week:

I adhered a panel of retiring Layering Designs vellum to the front of a Balmy Blue card base with Stampin’ Seal. I embossed a Basic White panel with the Fern 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the card front. I adhered a Balmy Blue panel of Country Gingham 6″ x 6″ designer series paper on top of the embossed panel and there’s the card sketch for the challenge!

I cut all the dies for the three layered daisy flowers in the Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies dies from Basic White. I used Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends to color the flower centers on the large multi-flower die cut and cut the leaves off with my paper snips. I adhered the back die cut layers to each flower with liquid glue and recolored the centers with the light Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend. I adhered the top detailed die cut layers to each flower and adhered the flowers to the card with dimensionals.

I stamped six leaves from the Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies photopolymer stamp set in Garden Green ink on Basic White and cut them out with the coordinating die. I adhered them to the card front with a glue dot. I stamped the sentiment from the Happy Labels stamp set in Garden Green ink on Balmy Blue. I adhered it to a Basic White mat and adhered it to the card with glue dots. I finished the card with a Balmy Blue and white bow and gold sequins.

For the inside of the card, I trimmed the side of a Basic White panel with a strip of Country Garden DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal. This leaves plenty of room for a personal note.

Here’s the Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies bundle – the photopolymer stamp set and coordinating dies. It will be available on Tuesday, May 2 when the 2023-2024 Annual Catalog opens for orders!

I love the fresh look of white daisies against a blue background and the retiring Country Gingham 6″ x 6″ DSP is the perfect backdrop for the beautiful die cut daisies from the new Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies bundle.

Stampin’ Up! Sea Turtle for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! The Stampin’ Up! Sea Turtle photopolymer stamp set has wonderful seaside images and the stamps are reversible! They are made so that you have a detailed image on one side and a solid image on the other, so they can be used for two step stamping. See how I did this on the inside image below. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a theme challenge this week:

I stamped the detailed seaweed image from the Stampin’ Up! Sea Turtle stamp in Old Olive ink set several times in the lower corner of a panel of By The Bay designer series paper. I turned the stamp upside down sometimes, and also used stamped off ink to give it dimension. I stamped the detailed bubble image several times on the DSP using Pool Party ink and then embossed the panel with the Seashells 3D embossing folder. I adhered it to a Mint Macaron panel with liquid glue and popped it on the front of a Balmy Blue card base with dimensionals.

I stamped the detailed large turtle from the Stampin’ Up Sea Turtle stamp set in Shaded Spruce ink on a Mint Macaron panel and fussy cut the turtle with paper snips. I adhered the turtle to the card front with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Happy Labels cling stamp set in Old Olive ink on a strip of Mint Macaron (note that the Happy Labels stamp set comes in photopolymer or cling). I punched the end with the ticket side of the Happy Labels Pick A Punch and adhered it to the card with glue dots. I finished the card with white Elegant Faceted gems.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the detailed side of the small turtle from the Stampin’ Up! Sea Turtle stamp set in Shaded Spruce ink in the corner of a Basic White panel. I cleaned the stamp and flipped it over and stamped the solid side in Mint Macaron ink over the detailed image. I stamped the seaweed on the side of the panel in Old Olive regular and stamped off ink. I stamped and embossed a strip of By The Bay DSP like the front background and adhered it to the bottom of the panel. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Sea Turtle stamp set is full of wonderful images. It’s fun to create with and is perfect for many occasions!

Stampin’ Up! Fond of Autumn Just A Note Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Fond Of Autumn bundle is a beautiful set and today I paired it with the Fabulous Frames dies and metallic foil for a Fall floral note card. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered a panel of Evening Evergreen Boughs of Holly designer series paper to the front of an Evening Evergreen card base with liquid glue. I cut a panel of copper Brushed Metallic foil with the small scalloped frame from the Fabulous Frames dies. I adhered a panel of Layering Designs Vellum to the back of the frame with dots of liquid glue and adhered the frame to the front of the card with glue dots.

I stamped one of the large floral bouquet stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Fond Of Autumn stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Basic White and I cut it out with the 4 section large die. I only needed two more berry sprigs, so I inked up the berry part of the stamp and stamped it on a smaller Basic White panel before cutting it out with the 4 section die. I colored the pieces with Stampin’ Blends. Cajun Craze for the berries, So Saffron for the berry leaves, Pale Papaya and Soft Suede for the flowers Soft Succulent and Old Olive for the flower leaves. I stamped the small single flower in Memento Tuxedo Black, cut it out with the coordinating die and colored it with Soft Suede, Pale Papaya and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends.

I arranged the berry clusters on the inside and outside of the frame and adhered them with glue dots. I adhered the large flower with dimensionals over the berries. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Fond Of Autumn stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black on the right end of a strip of Pale Papaya card stock. I used paper snips to trim the end and adhered it to the card with dimensionals and glue dots. I adhered the flower over the end of the label banner with glue dots and added three Pale Papaya Opal Gems around the bouquet.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the berry end of the large floral bouquet stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Fond Of Autumn stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink in the corners of a Basic White panel and colored them with Cajun Craze and So Saffron Stampin’ Blends. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal. I cut one of the picture corners from copper Brushed Metallic foil and adhered it to a lower corner with liquid glue.

The Stampin’ Up! Fond Of Autumn stamp bundle is such a pretty bundle and the images are great for coloring.

Stampin’ Up! Rustic Harvest Card with Video Tutorial

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Rustic Harvest designer series paper is a really pretty and versatile Fall themed paper and I’ve recently seen cards featuring the designs colored with blends! Coloring DSP is always fun and I decided to use this technique for today’s card. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

You can watch my Facebook live from yesterday afternoon HERE. I have also posted it to my YouTube Channel and you can view it HERE.

I adhered a panel of Crushed Curry Stampin’ Up! Rustic Harvest designer series paper to the front of a Crushed Curry Card base with liquid glue. I cut a Mossy Meadow panel of the DSP with the third largest stitched rectangle die and adhered it to the card front on an angle.

I colored the veggie panel of the Stampin’ Up! Rustic Harvest DSP with Stampin’ Blends – light Daffodil Delight on the Crushed Curry squashes, light Soft Suede on the acorns and stems, light Old Olive on the Mossy Meadow squashes and oak leaves, light Pumpkin Pie on the Cajun Craze pumpkins and light Fresh Freesia on the Merry Merlot leaves. I cut the panel with the 4th largest Stitched Rectangle die and adhered it to the card front on the opposite angle with liquid glue.

I wrapped the card with black and white gingham ribbon and made a bow. I stamped the sentiment from the Ringed with Nature photopolymer stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Crushed Curry and cut it out with the small Stitched Rectangle die. I adhered it to the card with dimensionals and finished it with a black matte dot.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the squiggly from the Hello Harvest cling stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink in the corner of a Basic White panel. I colored a strip of Stampin’ Up! Rustic Harvest DSP using Stampin’ Blends like the front panel and adhere it to the bottom of the inside panel before adhering it to the inside of the card.

Here is the card I made during my video with my sample card. For my sample, I reversed the Stampin’ Up! Rustic Harvest DSPs and used a Mossy Meadow card base with an Old Olive label. I love those pretty veggie images and I love the softer tone that you get by coloring the white. Plus it’s easy and fun.

Stampin’ Up! True Beauty Just Because Card

Good Morning! There are so many pretty floral stamp sets and bundles in the current Annual Catalog and one of my favorites is the Stampin’ Up! True Beauty bundle. It has several watercolor flower cling stamps with coordinating dies and pretty sentiments. I used it with the beautiful Awash in Beauty designer series paper and painted posies embossing folder to make today’s card. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I stamped the sprig from the Stampin’ Up! True Beauty stamp set in Old Olive ink on a Soft Sea Foam panel. I embosses the stamped panel with the Painted Posies 3D embossing folder and trimmed it down to 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″. Note that this beautiful embossing folder has lots of details at the bottom, so the bottom shrinks more after embossing, especially for landscape panels. I didn’t want this effect so I just trimmed it. I adhered an Awash In Beauty designer series paper strip to the bottom with liquid glue and wrapped it with a length of Soft Sea Foam ribbon. I tied a bow, and adhered the panel to the front of a Soft Sea Foam card base.

I cut the two sprig dies from the Organic Beauty dies in the Stampin’ Up! True Beauty bundle from Old Olive and adhered them to the card front with glue dots. I stamped the small leaf pair twice using Old Olive ink on Basic White and cut them out with the coordinating die. I snipped one of the leaves and adhered three leaves to the card front with liquid glue, tucking one leaf under the bow.. I stamped the flower in Blackberry Bliss on Basic White and cut it out with the coordinating die. I popped it on the leaves with dimensionals. I stamped three of the small flowers in Calypso Coral on Basic White, cut them out with the coordinating die and popped them on the die cut sprig with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! True Beauty stamp set in Old Olive on Basic White and cut it out with the pretty label die from the Potted Succulents dies. I finished the card with iridescent pearls.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the flower from the Stampin’ Up! True Beauty stamp set in Blackberry Bliss ink on Basic White. I masked it and stamped the leaves in Old Olive. I trimmed the bottom with a strip of the Awash In Beauty DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

I cased this card from a similar card in the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog, but added a few of my own touches. Catalogs are a great source of inspiration for card designs. The Stampin’ Up! True Beauty bundle is a beautiful set and I didn’t even use the pretty lattice die – I’ll have to save it for next time!

Stampin’ Up! Wonderful World Sneak Peek for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! On July 1, Sale-A-Bration Part 2 will start and today’s card has a sneak peek of one of the prettiest items – the Stampin’ Up! Wonderful World bundle.  This bundle consists of a pretty floral cling stamp set and beautiful coordinating designer series paper. You can find the currently available supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a sketch challenge this week and here is the fun sketch we are using:

I adhered the two sheets of Stampin’ Up! Wonderful World designer series paper together with liquid glue so that they were on an angle.  I adhered the layered DSP to the front of a Pear Pizzazz card base with liquid glue. I used the Banners Pick A Punch to cut the ends of three additional strips of DSP and adhered them to the front with liquid glue.  I stamped the sentiment from the Ranunculus Romance stamp set in Rick Razzleberry on the right side of a thin strip of Basic White. I punched the end and adhered it to the card front with liquid glue.

I used my Stamparatus and Rick Razzleberry and Pear Pizzazz Stampin’ Write markers to stamp the pretty rose from the Stampin’ Up! Wonderful World stamp set on Basic White.  I mounted my stamp on the top and secured the card stock on the bottom of the Stamparatus.  I colored the flower with the brush tip of the Rich Razzleberry marker, huffed on the stamp and closed the lid.  I colored the stem and leaves with the brush tip of the Pear Pizzazz Stampin’ Write marker, huffed on the stamp and closed the lid.  I love how well the Stamparatus works with this technique to give me two colors on one stamp!

I fussy cut the flower with my paper snips and adhered it to the card front with bits of dimensional.  I finished the card front with a white crinkle ribbon bow and three beautiful iridescent pearls.

For the inside, I adhered a panel of the Wonderful World DSP to the side of a Basic White panel and adhered it to the inside of the card.

A simple floral card for any occasion! Here is the pretty Stampin’ Up! Wonderful World cling stamp set:

And here is the pretty designer series paper pack:

You get both of these as a bundle as a Sale-A-Bration free item. The pretty Stampin’ Up! Wonderful World stamp bundle will be available starting July 1 with Sale-A-Bration as a free item with a $100 order (before tax and shipping). Here is a picture of the upcoming July-December 2022 Mini Catalog and July-August Sale-A-Bration Brochure:

Stampin’ Up! True Beauty for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! I have a just because card to share today made with the beautiful new Stampin’ Up! True Beauty bundle with the retiring Flowering Fields designer series paper. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a sketch challenge this week and here is the sketch we are using:

I adhered an Old Olive panel of Flowering Fields designer series paper to a Mango Melody panel of the DSP with liquid glue and adhered the layered DSP to an Old Olive mat. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! True Beauty cling stamp set in Blackberry Bliss ink in the lower corner. I cut two berry sprigs from Blackberry Bliss card stock using the Organic Beauty dies and adhered them to the DSP panel with liquid glue.

I stamped three large roses from the Stampin’ Up! True Beauty stamp set in Poppy Parade on Basic White and cut them out with the coordinating die. I stamped three sets of leaves in Mossy Meadow and four small flowers in Mango Melody on Basic White. I cut all the leaves and small flowers out with the coordinating dies.

I arranged the flowers and leaves and adhered the leaves and small flowers to the DSP panel with glue dots. I adhered the top rose with glue dots and popped the last two flowers on with dimensionals. I adhered the panel to the front of a Poppy Parade card base with dimensionals and finished with three faux pearls.

For the inside, I cut two masks for the roses and stamped the first rose in the lower corner of a basic white panel in Poppy Parade ink. I covered it with a mask and stamped the second. I covered both roses and stamped the leaves in Mossy Meadow. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The flowers in the Stampin’ Up! True Beauty stamp set are just beautiful – with the Distinktive look so that you get multiple shades in one stamp! And each flower has a coordinating die, so you don’t have to fussy cut – Yay!! And it goes beautifully with the retiring Flowering Fields DSP (which is currently on SALE). Be sure to check it out along with the other items in the Awash in Beauty Suite!

Stampin’ Up! Wildlife Wonder Birthday Card

Happy Saturday! I love stamp sets that depict wild animals and the Stampin’ Up! Wildlife Wonder is a great one! I used the wonderful wild bear in today’s card with the gorgeous Beauty of the Earth designer series paper for a simple layered masculine birthday card. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I started by stamping the birthday sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Wildlife Wonder cling stamp set in Early Espresso on a panel of the Beauty of the Earth designer series paper and adhering the panel to the front of a Soft Suede card base with liquid glue.

I embossed a panel of Mossy Meadow with the Bark 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the card front. I stamped the bear from the Stampin’ Up! Wildlife Wonder stamp set in Cinnamon Cider on a Sahara Sand panel to make a brown bear. I stamped the ground stamp in Mossy Meadow under the bear.

I adhered the bear panel to a Soft Suede mat and adhered the layered panel to the card front with dimensionals. I finished off the card with some Pebbles enamel shapes on the ground.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Wildlife Wonder stamp set in Early Espresso on a Basic White panel and stamped the cool owl in Cinnamon Cider next to it. I trimmed the bottom with a strip of DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

I didn’t use the wolf image from the Stampin’ Up! Wildlife Wonder stamp set in today’s card, but that is another wonderful one that I will use next time. This stamp set can easily coordinate with lots of designer series papers for a great outdoors card and is wonderful with many woodsy stamped or die cut backgrounds. It’s a must have for masculine cards, especially for guys who love the outdoors!

Stampin’ Up! Flowering Tulips Card

Good Morning! Today I have a simple card made with the Stampin’ Up! Flowering Tulips bundle and the pretty Flowering Fields designer series paper. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered a panel of Flowering Fields designer series paper to a Soft Succulent mat and wrapped lengths of white and Soft Succulent ribbon over the top, adhering them with Stampin’ Seal on the front and securing them with scotch tape in the back. I adhered the panel to the front of a So Saffron card base with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Flowering Tulips photopolymer stamp set in Soft Succulent ink on a So Saffron panel. I cut it out with a die from the Tasteful Labels dies and secured it to the front with dimensionals, being careful to adhere them to the DSP.

I finished the card front with three Soft Succulent jewels adhered to the label.

I stamped the tulip from the Stampin’ Up! Flowering Tulips stamp set in Mango Melody on a Basic White panel. I stamped the accent tulip in stamped off Mango Melody for lighter highlights and stamped the stem and leaves in Soft Succulent. I trimmed the bottom with a strip of DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The Flowering Fields DSP is so beautiful and Springy! I love this sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Flowering Tulips stamp set, because it is so optimistic and perfect for Spring’s new beginnings!

Join me for a Facebook Live this Afternoon!

I’m planning to go live on my Facebook Page at 1:00 ET this afternoon to make a card with the Daffodil Daydream bundle. Look forward to seeing you then!

Stampin’ Up! Amazing Silhouettes Card

Good Morning! Today I have a Dutch Door card made with the Stampin’ Up! Amazing Silhouettes stamp set. This is where the front flap is only on the bottom and you can see through the top, so I extended my art panel over the top to give the front some interest. It’s a pretty easy fun-fold! You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

Instead of scoring my Highland Heather card base at 4-1/4″, I cut the top 2-3/4″ of my score line, scored the bottom and cut across the card front to cut off the top half. See the picture below:

I adhered a Hand Penned designer series paper panel to a Basic White mat and adhered it to the card front. I stamped the butterfly from the Stampin’ Up! Amazing Silhouettes cling stamp set in Highland Heather on a Basic White panel. I stamped the sentiment from the Lovely You cling stamp set on the bottom of the panel in Highland Heather and embossed the panel with the Tasteful Texture 3D embossing folder. I adhered it to the Highland Heather mat cut from the top front of the card base.

I cut a Mint Macaron panel with the leaf from the Bough Punch and the remaining Highland Heather strip with the punch flower. I adhered the punched shapes to the back of the butterfly panel with glue dots and used Tear & Tape to adhere the butterfly panel and punched shapes to the card front.

I colored a length of white crinkle ribbon with the Highland Heather Stampin’ Blend and made a bow. I adhered the bow to the card front and finished with three opal round gems.

I embossed a panel of Highland Heather with the Meadow Moments embossing folder and adhered it to the top of a Basic White panel. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

A dutch door card is an easy way to kick up a card design to add an unexpected fun element that’s sure to bring a smile. And a small, pretty stamped image such as this sweet butterfly from the Stampin’ Up! Amazing Silhouettes stamp set is perfectly framed without too much fuss.
