Stampin’ Up! Your Biggest Fan Birthday Card

Good Morning! Today I made a masculine birthday card with the new Stampin’ Up! Your Biggest Fan stamp set, but no it’s not a sports theme card. I used the strong, bold sentiments from the stamp set with the retiring In Good Taste designer series paper for a simple masculine card. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

My card was inspired by the fun sketch challenge on Try Stampin’ On Tuesday Challenge #549:

I used the Banner Pick a Punch to cut the ends of several scrap strips of the In Good Taste DSP. It felt good to put them to use and the mixture of wood grains and stones go together well. Select varying widths and lengths. I adhered them to a panel of the DSP that looked like a painting canvas, varying the lengths and I trimmed the tops off after the strips were adhered to get a clean edge on top. I adhered the DSP to a Soft Suede mat.

I wrapped the DSP panel with a length of Gray Granite shimmer ribbon, securing it in the back with tape and adhered the panel to the front of a Gray Granite card base.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Your Biggest Fan photopolymer stamp set in Soft Suede on a wood grain panel of In Good Taste DSP and cut it out with the small label die from the Harvest dies. I cut another panel of Soft Suede with the die and adhered the DSP to the top. I adhered the label to the card front with dimensionals and finished it with a Brushed Metallic Dot.

For the inside of the card, I decided to use the In Good Taste DSP for my writing panel. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Your Biggest Fan stamp set in Soft Suede ink and adhered strips of punched DSP to the side. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The In Good Taste DSP is perfect for masculine cards, just like the bold font in the Stampin’ Up! Your Biggest Fan stamp set. The natural tones also work well to contrast with florals for feminine cards, so overall it’s a great pack! It’s a great value with a 40% discount during the Last Chance Products sale.

Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Harvest Thank You Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Harvest is one of my favorites from the current July – December Mini Catalog, so I was happy to use it for another fall Thank You card. And I decided to combine it with the quaint Harvest Meadow and rustic In Good Taste designer series papers for a sweet country look. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

My card was inspired by the Nature’s Beauty Color Challenge at Sunday Stamps SSC269:

I adhered a panel of Harvest Meadows designer series paper to a Misty Moonlight mat and popped it on the front of a Gray Granite Card base with dimensionals. I cut a stitched rectangle using the rustic wood grain In Good Taste designer series paper, adhered it to a Basic Black mat and then adhered it to the card front with liquid glue.

I stamped the pretty coneflowers from the beautiful Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Harvest cling stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black on Basic White and colored it with Stampin’ Blends. I used Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Cinnamon Cider and Soft Suede. Then I cut it out with the coordinating die and popped it on the card front with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Harvest stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black on Old Olive and cut it out with the small label die. I adhered it to the card with dimensionals and glue dots. I made a triple loopy bow with Linen thread and adhered it with a glue dot and finished the card front with champagne rhinestone gems.

For the inside of the card, I inked up the coneflower stamp with Gray Granite ink and stamped off twice before stamping the image on a Basic White panel. I trimmed the bottom with the Harvest Meadow DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The beautiful coneflowers from the Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Harvest stamp set are really fun to color and they always come out beautiful! Thanks for stopping by!

Stampin’ Up! Enjoy The Moment Sneak Peek

Good Friday Morning! Today am sharing a sneak peek of a card that uses the new Stampin’ Up! Enjoy The Moment cling stamp set from the upcoming January – June 2021 Mini Catalog. My card is CASE’d from one that Melody Hyde presented at the Stampin’ Up! OnStage@Home event a few weeks back. While Melody used new designer series paper, I paired the stamp set with the In Good Taste DSP. You can find the currently available supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I embossed a panel of Pretty Peacock with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a Pretty Peacock card base. I used two sizes of the Stitched Rectangles Dies to cut the wood grained and the gesso canvas papers from the In Good Taste designer series paper. I stamped the small seed pods from the upcoming Stampin’ Up! Enjoy The Moment cling stamp set in Crumb Cake ink randomly across the die cut wood grained paper.

I stamped the large seed pod from the Stampin’ Up! Enjoy The Moment stamp set in Crumb Cake ink on the die cut gesso canvas DSP panel. I colored it with Crumb Cake and So Saffron Stampin’ Blends. I brushed some Pool Party Stampin’ Blends on the right side of the pod like a shadow and used the Color Lifter to blend the line. I adhered the In Good Taste paper panels to the card front with liquid glue.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Enjoy The Moment stamp set in Crumb Cake ink on a Whisper White strip and cut it out with the Tasteful Labels die. I folded a length of sheer Pool Party ribbon and adhered it behind the label. I popped it on the card front with dimensionals. I finished off the card front with blue sequins.

I stamped the seed pod from the Stampin’ Up! Enjoy The Moment stamp set in Crumb Cake ink on a small panel of the gesso canvas DSP and colored it to match the front. I stamped the little seed pods on a small panel of the wood grained DSP. I adhered the little panels of the In Good Taste DSP to the lower corner of a Whisper white panel and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

A cute little nature themed note card! The In Good Taste designer series papers have so many different textures that coordinate beautifully with nature themed stamp sets like the new Stampin’ Up! Enjoy The Moment stamp set. With all the different images and sweet sentiments, this stamp set belongs on every wish list for the upcoming January – June 2021 Mini Catalog!

Stampin’ Up! Pallet Thoughts Masculine Birthday Card

Good Morning! Today I am sharing a masculine birthday card made with the Stampin’ Up! Pallet Thoughts cling stamp set. I paired it with a stacked stone background paper from the In Good Taste designer series paper pack and some die cuts for an elegant natural look. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

Adhere a panel of the stacked stone paper from the In Good Taste designer series paper pack to an Early Espresso mat. Stamp the wood from the Stampin’ Up! Pallet Thoughts stamp set in Gray Granite ink on Cinnamon Cider card stock.

Stamp the Hello Handsome sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Pallet Thoughts stamp set in Early Espresso ink in the middle and cut it out with the label from the Painted Labels Dies. Adhere the label to the layered designer series paper and pop the layered panel on the front of a Cinnamon Cider card base with dimensionals.

Cut out the sprigs from the Sunflower Dies out of gold foil. Cut the leaf branch from the Forever Flourishing Dies out of Mossy Meadow card stock and adhere it to the two gold foil sprigs. Make a knot with the copper ribbon and adhere it to the greenery. Adhere the die cuts to the label with glue dots and finish with three gold metallic pearls.

Stamp the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Pallet Thoughts stamp set in Early Espresso ink on a Whisper White panel. Stamp the leaf from the Forever Fern stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink on the bottom. Stamp the wood from the Stampin’ Up! Pallet Thoughts stamp set in Gray Granite ink on a strip of Cinnamon Cider. Adhere a strip of In Good Taste DSP on top and adhere it to the bottom of the Whisper White panel. Adhere the panel to the inside of the card.

Stampin’ Up! Press On Good Day Card

Good Morning! Today I’m sharing a card that I made for World Card Making Day with the Stampin’ Up! Press On stamp set. This is a cute stamp set and is perfect for making coffee themed cards for coffee lovers with sentiments expressing thanks, encouragement and sending well wishes. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

Make the cup using paper piecing techniques, stamping the In Good Taste designer series papers with the Stampin’ Up! Press On coffee cup in Early Espresso ink. Cut the pieces out with paper snips and adhere them to a coffee cup stamped on Whisper White and fussy cut. Top the cup with a lid fussy cut from Whisper White.

Cut a Whisper White panel with the third largest Stitched So Sweetly scalloped rectangle die and stamp the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Press On cling stamp set in Crumb Cake ink. Adhere the cup with dimensionals. Add a silver metallic pearl.

Adhere the strip of wood grained In Good Taste DSP to the panel of stone tile DSP and adhere it to the front of an Early Espresso card base. Wrap Linen thread around the seam twice and make a bow near the bottom of the card. Stamp the coffee beans from the Stampin’ Up! Press On stamp set in Early Espresso on the stone tiles and Pop the coffee cup panel on the card front with dimensionals.

Stamp part of the cups from the Stampin’ Up! Press On stamp set in Early Espresso ink on a Whisper White panel. Color the cups with Misty Moonlight, Crumb Cake and Gray Granite Stampin’ Blends. Stamp the sentiment in Crumb cake ink and trim the bottom with a strip of stone tile In Good Taste DSP. Adhere the panel to the inside of the card.

The Facebook Live video where I made the card is in the Inkin’ Krew World Card Making Day group. Later today, I’ll try to link it up to my business Facebook page so you can view it there. I also plan to edit the video and post a shortened version on my YouTube Channel by the end of the week.

Stampin’ Up! Field Journal Birthday Card

Good Morning! Today I have a simple masculine birthday card made with the Stampin’ Up! Field Journal Cling stamp set. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I stamped the duck from the Stampin’ Up! Field Journal stamp set in Early Espresso ink on a Whisper White panel. I cut it out with the largest stitched oval from the Stitched Shapes Dies. I colored it with Bermuda Bay, Cinnamon Cider, Soft Suede, Crumb Cake and Mango Melody Stampin’ Blends. I colored the ground with Old Olive Stampin’ Blends and the background with Pool Party Stampin’ Blends.

I embossed a panel of Mossy Meadow card stock with the Old World Paper 3D embossing folder. I adhered an antique corner to each corner with a glue dot. I adhered a panel of World of Good specialty designer series paper to an Early Espresso mat. I adhered a strip of In Good Taste designer series paper on top.

I adhered the embossed Mossy Meadow panel on the layered DSP panel and popped the art panel on top with dimensionals. I popped the panel on the front of a Crumb Cake card base.

I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Pallet Thoughts cling stamp set in Early Espresso ink on a Whisper White panel. I stamped the plant from the Stampin’ Up! Field Journal stamp set in Crumb Cake ink after stamping off twice. I trimmed the bottom with a strip of World of Good DSP to the bottom and adhered it to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Field Journal stamp set is like a walk in the woods. The pretty line drawn images are great for coloring and would make a great card for any nature lover.

Stampin’ Up! Waterfront and Rooted in Nature Birthday Card

Good Morning! I do not have a sneak peek this morning, it is an oldies but goodies kind of day. I made a nature themed masculine birthday card with the Stampin’ Up! Waterfront and Stampin’ Up! Rooted in Nature stamp sets. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I started by stamping the mountains from the Stampin’ Up! Waterfront stamp set in Basic Gray ink across a panel of light wood grained In Good Taste designer series paper. I masked part of the mountain and stamped the sun in Daffodil Delight ink. I removed the mask and stamped the trees in Garden Green ink and some grass using the double stroke stamp in Pear Pizzazz ink. I finished off the mountain scene by stamping the birds from the Mountain Air stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

I stamped the tree from the Stampin’ Up! Rooted in Nature stamp set using my stamparatus. I inked up the trunk using Soft Suede ink and stamped. Then, I inked the leaves using Garden Green ink and stamped again. The stamparatus gives me the precision of stamping in the same place with different ink colors. Then I cut the tree out with the coordinating die from the Nature’s Roots Dies.

I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Itty Bitty Birthdays cling stamp set in Basic Gray ink on the right side of a Very Vanilla strip. I adhered it to a Basic Gray mat and then adhered it to the stamped DSP panel with Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the stamped layered In Good Taste DSP panel to a Basic Gray mat and then popped it on the front of a Gray Granite card base with dimensionals. I adhered the die cut tree to the card front with dimensionals.

I stamped the mountains, sun and tree on the bottom corner of a Very Vanilla panel using the same colors as the card front, except that I stamped each off first so it would be lighter. I stamped the sentiment from the Many Mates stamp set in Basic Gray ink in the top portion of the panel and added more birds next to it. I adhered a strip of the light wood grain DSP to the bottom of the panel and then adhered it to a Basic Gray mat. I adhered it to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

I was pleased that the image stamped so well on the light wood grain DSP! And it was nice to use some old favorite stamp sets again – especially with some new DSP! I bet there are other oldies but goodies, even retired ones, that would go great with the In Good Taste designer series paper!

Stampin’ Up! Summer Days Miss You Card

Good Morning! Today I have a card made with the Stampin’ Up! Summer Days cling stamp set. This is a Host Cling stamp set that is an exclusive purchase with Host Dollars. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I stamped the tree-lined road stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Summer Days stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a Whisper White panel. I colored it with Stampin’ Blends – Balmy Blue, Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Granny Apple Green, Old Olive and the Color Lifter. I cut out the image using the largest square from the Stitched Shapes Dies and adhered it to a Mossy Meadow mat.

I adhered a panel of wood grained In Good Taste designer series paper to the front of a Cinnamon Cider card base. I embossed a panel of Sahara Sand card stock with the Greenery embossing folder and adhered it to the card front. I wrapped a length of Linen Thread around the card front three times and tied a bow on the right side and popped the stamped panel on with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Well Said cling stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on an Old Olive panel and adhered it to a Mossy Meadow mat before adhering it to the card front with Stampin’ Seal. I used glue dots to adhere the wood leaf from the In Good Taste Elements to the label.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the left side of the tree-lined road stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Summer Days stamp set in stamped off Sahara Sand ink on the lower right corner of a Whisper White panel. I adhered a strip of the In Good Taste DSP to the bottom and adhered it to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Summer Days stamp set is a Host stamp set. This means that it is specially priced stamp set that can only be purchased with Stampin’ Rewards Host Dollars that are earned through hosting a party or workshop or by placing an individual qualifying order.

Stampin’ Up! Tasteful Touches Hello Card

Good Morning! Today I made a sweet Hello card with the new Stampin’ Up! Tasteful Touches bundle. This cling stamp set has an eclectic set of images that are great for creating both masculine and feminine cards. It has some great texture stamps and wonderful sentiments in an easy flowing font that really let you express your creativity. And every label die in the Tasteful Labels dies has a special stitched or embossed edge that makes it extra special and a definite must have. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I started by stamping the leaf branch from the Stampin’ Up! Tasteful Touches stamp set in Misty Moonlight ink on a panel of In Good Taste designer series paper. I adhered the panel to a Misty Moonlight mat and then popped it on the front of a Gray Granite Card Base with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment in Misty Moonlight on a panel of Petal Pink card stock and cut it out with the Tasteful Labels dies. I stamped the flower from the Stampin’ Up! Tasteful Touches in Misty Moonlight ink on Whisper White and fussy cut it out. I colored it with Petal Pink and Mango Melody Stampin Blends. I cut a fern branch from vellum using the Forever Flourishing dies.

I adhered the vellum fern and label to the card front with Stampin’ Seal. I applied more Stampin’ Seal and wound some Misty Moonlight and silver twine a couple of times on the left side of the label and popped the flower on top with dimensionals. I finished the front off with three champagne rhinestones.

I stamped the branches from the Stampin’ Up! Tasteful Touches stamp set in Misty Moonlight ink on a Whisper White panel. I adhered a strip of the In Good Taste DSP to the bottom and adhered it to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Tasteful Touches bundle is part of the new In Good Taste suite along with the In Good Taste DSP. The products in this suite are full of neutral colors and natural textures and make very elegant cards!
