Stampinโ€™ Up! Cute Fruit Friendship Card

Good morning and welcome to Simple Stamping Saturday! Today I’m sharing a cute friendship card made with the Stampin’ Up! Cute Fruit stamp set. This is one of the cute stamp sets in the Beginner’s Brochure and you can view the brochure in the right sidebar if you haven’t seen it yet. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

And today’s card was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #472 – a perfect sketch for many simple stamping techniques!

The Stampin’ Up! Cute Fruit photopolymer stamp set is a light hearted two step stamp set with pretty fruits, little smily faces and punny sentiments. I stamped the pineapple top in Mossy Meadow ink on a Basic White panel and then stamped the pineapple body under it in Bumblebee ink. I found it easier to line up when I stamped the top first because the ink is darker and it’s easier to see through the lighter inked stamp for better alignment. Then I stamped the pineapple on a post-it note and fussy cut it to make a mask.

I adhered the post-it note mask to cover the pineapple and stamped the watermelon center from the Stampin’ Up! Cute Fruit stamp set in Melon Mambo ink next to the pineapple, overlapping the masked pineapple. Doesn’t it make the watermelon look like it’s behind the pineapple? I stamped the watermelon rind in Shaded Spruce next to the watermelon, aligning the tops. On a separate Basic White panel, I stamped the orange center in Pumpkin Pie after stamping off and then the orange peel in Pumpkin Pie, aligning the centers. I fussy cut the orange. I stamped the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and adhered the panel to a Mossy Meadow mat.

I trimmed the ends of strips of Melon Mambo, Mossy Meadow and Bumblebee DSP and adhered them together and then to the panel with glue dots. I adhered the orange to the panel with dimensionals and adhered a linen thread bow next to it with a glue dot. I popped the panel on the front of a Melon Mambo card base.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the pineapple in Mossy Meadow and Bumblebee like the front in the corner of a Basic White panel. I covered it with the post-it note mask and stamped the watermelon next to it in Melon Mambo and Shaded Spruce. In the opposite corner, I stamped the orange in Pumpkin Pie and then adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

There are other fruits in the Stampin’ Up! Cute Fruit stamp set, so I’ll have to play with it again soon. In addition to the stamp set, you can purchase the Cute Fruit Cards & Tags Project Collection (item 155420) which comes with the stamp set, a stamp block, a pack of White card stock and a set of 8 Stampin’ Spots ink pads for $58.25 (before shipping and taxes). This is perfect for a beginning stamper because it has everything you need in one package! And it will also qualify for a Level 1 Sale A Bration item through the end of this month!

Stampinโ€™ Up! Last A Lifetime Wedding Card

Happy Wednesday! Today I’m sharing a Wedding Card made with the beautiful Stampin’ Up! Last A Lifetime and Forever Blossoms stamp sets and Lasting Elegance dies. There are so many stamp sets and bundles that are currently available to make beautiful, elegant wedding cards and it makes it difficult to choose. So let’s get started looking at some of the options. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I love the Lasting Elegance dies, so I used both of the floral dies to cut a panel of the new Sahara Sand foil. This foil is so pretty – like a soft gold. I adhered the die cut panel to a Basic White panel and wrapped a length of Polka Dot Tulle around it, securing it in the back and popped the panel to the front of a Thick Basic White card base.

I stamped the sentiment from the Forever Blossoms stamp set in Sahara Sand ink on a Basic White panel and cut it out with the Stitched So Sweetly Die. The Sahara Sand ink looks great with the foil and looks more like gold than brown.

I popped the label on the card front with dimensionals and added three white elegant gems. I made a bow with the polka dot tulle ribbon and adhered it next to the label to finish the card.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Forever Blossoms stamp set in Sahara Sand ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped part of the floral image from the Stampin’ Up! Last A Lifetime cling stamp set in the upper corner in Sahara Sand ink and adhered the panel to a Sahara Sand mat.

This card was pretty easy to put together and is so elegant!! The Stampin’ Up! Last A Lifetime and Forever Blossoms are just two of the beautiful wedding themed stamp sets currently available. And be sure to check out the Love You Always foil sheets and other specialty papers to give your wedding card an extra elegant touch.

Stampinโ€™ Up! Zoo Globe Birthday Card for the Inkinโ€™ Krew Blog Hop

Good Morning! Welcome to another Inkin’ Krew Monthly Blog Hop! The theme for this month’s hop is Birthday and I made a sweet birthday card with the little giraffe from the Stampin’ Up! Zoo Globe stamp set. This is a great stamp set for making children’s cards, new baby cards or any animal theme card – and the globe stamps coordinate with the Snow Globe scene dies and shaker dome to make shaker cards! You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I stamped the little giraffe from the Stampin’ Up! Zoo Globe photopolymer stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a small Basic White panel. I positioned the small rectangle die from the Stitched with Whimsey dies on the panel around the giraffe and ran it through my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine to die cut a pretty stitched frame around the giraffe.

I colored the giraffe with the So Saffron and Cinnamon Cider Stampin’ Blends and adhered it to a Basic Black mat. I positioned the giraffe panel on the So Saffron panel and stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Zoo Globe stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black underneath. I embossed the panel with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a So Saffron card base.

I adhered the giraffe panel to the card front on top of the sentiment using dimensionals. I finished the card by wrapping a length of black and white twine around the fold and tying a bow.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Zoo Globe stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the little bird next to the sentiment and the balloons on the bottom. I colored the images with Stampin Blends – Poppy Parade, So Saffron and Night of Navy – and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

Stampinโ€™ Up! Heart To Heart for the Happy Inkinโ€™ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to another Happy Inkinโ€™ Thursday Blog Hop! I have a Valentine’s Day card made with the Stampin’ Up Heart To Heart stamp set and the beautiful Love You Always specialty designer series paper and matching foil sheets. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

We have a sketch challenge this week, and here is the pretty sketch we are using. I think it’s a Valentine’s Day sketch!

I embossed a panel of Blushing Bride card stock with the Scripty 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a Blushing Bride card base. I cut a Blushing Bride foil sheet and a Blushing Bride Love You Always specialty designer series paper with the two different scalloped rectangle dies from the Stitched So Sweetly diesI adhered these together with liquid glue and adhered them to the card front.

I stamped the lattice heart from the Heartfelt stamp set in Blushing Bride on Basic White and cut it out with the plain heart punch from the Heart Punch Pack. I used the scalloped heart punch to punch out a heart from the Blushing Bride Foil and adhered the stamped heart to the front. I cut a little heart from the remaining foil using the heart die from the Lasting Elegance dies and adhered it to the center of the heart and popped the heart on the card front with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Heart To Heart stamp set in Rococo Rose and cut it out with the label die from the Always dies using the two step cutting method to make the label fit the sentiment. I cut another label with the same die from the Blushing Bride foil using the same method, but making it a little longer. I adhered the two labels together and adhered it to the card front with dimensionals and glue dots.

On a Basic White panel, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Heart To Heart stamp set in Rococo Rose. I stamped the flower in Blushing Bride, the stem in Pear Pizzazz and heart in Rococo Rose. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Heart To Heart stamp set has pretty sentiments and images for traditional Valentines – hearts and flowers. The beautiful new Love You Always specialty designer series paper and matching foil sheets are also perfect for fancy Valentines, but they are also great for Weddings, Anniversaries and even extra special Birthdays.

Stampinโ€™ Up! Boho Indigo Thank You Card

Good Morning! Today I have a fun fold thank you card made with the pretty Stampin’ Up! Boho Indigo Product Medley. You can find the supplies at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered a panel of the embossed Very Vanilla card stock from the Stampin’ Up! Boho Indigo product medley to a Misty Moonlight panel with liquid Glue. I adhered the card base to the panel with liquid glue and adhered the panel of floral Stampin’ Up! Boho Indigo DSP to the front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Boho Indigo stamp set in Misty Moonlight on a strip of Very Vanilla and trimmed the ends with the Banner Pick A Punch. I adhered it to the card front with glue dots. I cut out two large leaves from Pear Pizzazz and one leaf from Mossy Meadow using the Stampin’ Up! Boho Indigo leaf dies. I stamped the large basket in Cinnamon Cider ink on Very Vanilla and cut it out with the coordinating die.

I arranged the leaves on the card front and adhered them to the card with glue dots. I adhered the basket with dimensionals and added an enamel dot to finish the label.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the flower trio from the Stampin’ Up! Boho Indigo stamp set in the corners of a Very Vanilla panel with Misty Moonlight ink. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

This fun fold card was pretty easy to make and it was fun to change things up a bit. The Stampin’ Up! Boho Indigo product medley has tons of coordinating products and there’s a refill kit too. The product medley includes:

  • 11-piece photopolymer stamp set
  • 48 sheets of 6″ x 6″ DSP
  • 6 sheets of Very Vanilla 6″ x 6″ dry embossed card stock
  • die cuts with gold foil accents
  • 10 yards of Night of Navy ribbon
  • 10 yards of Very Vanilla/gold ribbon
  • paper flowers, 20 each in 2 sizes;
  • 12-piece Boho Indigo Dies

Like other kits, the product medley has die cuts with gold foil accents and coordinating embellishments to make your cards pretty. But unlike other kits, the product medley has full size DSP packs, ribbons, stamps & dies! And there are no pre-made card instructions, so you can really unleash your creativity. And of course, everything is in Stampin’ Up! colors, so you can coordinate with other things in your stampin’ stash!

Stampinโ€™ Up! Well Written Thank You Cards

Good Morning! Today I want to share a set of thank you cards using the Stampin’ Up! Well Written Dies with the Sale A Bration Flower & Field designer series paper. You can find the supplies at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I used the Basic White Note Cards and Envelopes as my card bases. These are nice, thick card bases that don’t need a liner and meet the minimum size requirement to be mailed by the US Postal Service, so they are perfect for a quick thank you or for a little set of cards. They are pre-scored, so you just need to fold it and burnish the edge well with your bone folder.

I embossed a panel of Basic White with the Little Details embossing folder. I adhered the striped paper to the floral paper from the Flower & Field designer series paper and adhered them both to the bottom of the embossed panel. I adhered the panel to the front of the note card.

I adhered a strip of adhesive sheets to the back of a Basic White strip and cut out the thanks sentiment die from the Stampin’ Up! Well Written dies. I peeled the backing off and adhered the word to the floral designer series paper and finished off the card front with a Black Matte dot.

I love the Stampin’ Up! Well Written dies for making die cut words. The font is sweet and casual and there are words for lots of occasions. And I love the Little Details embossing folders with all the different stitches – it adds wonderful texture to the white background.

Stampinโ€™ Up! Approaching Perfection for the Happy Inkinโ€™ Thursday Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Happy Inkinโ€™ Thursday Blog Hop! Today I used the Stampin’ Up! Approaching Perfection Sale A Bration stamp set with the Sale A Bration Field & Flower designer series paper to make a cute birthday card. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

We have a sketch challenge this week, and here is the cute sketch we are using:

I adhered a panel of the So Saffron Subtles 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to the front of a So Saffron card base. I used the Detailed Trio punch to round the corners of a Just Jade panel and adhered a panel of Flower & Field designer series paper cut from the Stitched Rectangle Dies to the center. I popped it on the card front with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Approaching Perfection cling stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a Just Jade panel and cut it out with the Stitched Rectangle Die. I adhered it to the floral panel with glue dots. I stamped the small daisy from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Bumblebee ink three times on a white panel. I cut them out with the medium daisy punch and adhered them together with liquid glue.

I used the small flower center die from the Wreath Builder Dies to cut a Just Jade circle. I embossed it with the Tasteful Textile embossing folder and covered it with shimmery crystal effects for sparkle and shine and let it dry. I adhered it to the flower center with a dimensional and adhered the flower to the card front with dimensionals. I added a Bumblebee gingham bow and a Rococo Rose butterfly gem to finish the card.

I stamped the sentiment and balloons from the Stampin’ Up! Approaching Perfection stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a white panel and colored the balloons with the Real Red and Rococo Rose Stampin’ Blends. I added a strip of Flowers & Field DSP to the bottom before adhering it to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Approaching Perfection stamp set has fun, witty birthday sentiments that make it a wonderful Sale A Bration selection. It is FREE with a $50 purchase (before shipping and taxes). And the Field & Flowers designer series paper is another pretty Sale A Bration option. Sale A Bration is going on now and runs through February 28.

Stampinโ€™ Up! Dragonfly Garden Thank You Card

Good morning! Today I have a sweet Thank You card made with the Stampin’ Up! Dragonfly Garden cling stamp set and the pretty Dandy Garden 6″ x 6″ designer series paper. You can find the supplies at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I embossed a Calypso Coral panel with the Ornate Floral 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a Calypso Coral card base. I adhered a panel of the Dandy Garden designer series paper to a Mossy Meadow mat.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Dragonfly Garden stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink on a Bumblebee panel. I stamped the group of dragonflies in Bumblebee ink around the sentiment and adhered the panel to a Mossy Meadow mat.

I wrapped a length of gingham Bumblebee ribbon around the panel and tied a knot. I adhered the Dandy Garden DSP panel on top with dimensionals and adhered the panel to the card front with dimensionals. I adhered a ladybug trinket to the card with a glue dot.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the dragonflies from the Stampin’ Up! Dragonfly Garden stamp set in Bumblebee ink in the corner of a Whisper White panel. I added a strip of Dandy Garden designer series paper to the bottom and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Dragonfly Garden stamp set has the pretty dragonfly images and sweet sentiments. I didn’t use the coordinating punch for this project, but you can get the bundle with the stamp set and punch for a 10% discount. And though I don’t like dandelions in my summer lawn, the Dandy Garden DSP is beautiful with rich colors and gorgeous images. And the little ladybug trinkets are just too cute!

Basic White Cardstock Products Now Available

Last month Stampin’ Up! announced that the Whisper White products are being discontinued because the supplier’s mill had to close due to COVID-19 impacts. They even tested it with some demonstrators and concept artists who gave it the thumbs up. And it’s now available in the Online Store.

Here are the list of Basic White products with links:

  • BASIC WHITE 8-1/2″ X 11″ CARDSTOCK (159276)

I placed my order yesterday and can’t wait to get my hands on it! But it will take a little getting used to not calling it Whisper White anymore.

Stampinโ€™ Up! Darling Donkeys Hee Haw Card

Hee Haw! The Stampin’ Up! January – June 2021 Mini Catalog is finally open today and it’s Sale A Bration time!! Double Yay!! So to celebrate, I used the cute little Stampin’ Up! Darling Donkeys to let everyone know the exciting news. You can find the supplies at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I embossed a Bermuda Bay panel with the Pinewood Planks 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a Bermuda Bay card base. I stamped the little donkey from the Stampin’ Up! Darling Donkeys cling stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and the sentiment in Bermuda Bay ink. I cut the image out with the second largest stitched circle die.

I colored the donkey with the Crumb Cake and Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends. I adhered a Bermuda Bay Oh So Ombre 6″ x 6″ designer series paper panel to a Bermuda Bay mat and adhered the donkey to the panel with dimensionals. I embossed a strip of Bermuda Bay with the Pinewood Planks embossing folder and adhered it to the panel.

I adhered the panel to the card front with dimensionals and finished it off with three wooden In Good Taste elements.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Itty Bitty Birthdays stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a Whisper White panel. I stamped the stars from the Stampin’ Up! Darling Donkeys stamp set in Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry and Magenta Madness next to the sentiment. I added a strip of Oh So Ombre designer series paper to the bottom and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

Hee Haw!! It is time to celebrate the debut of the new catalog and the start of Sale A Bration!!
