Stampin’ Up! Artistically Inked Hello Card

Good Morning! Today’s Hello card is made with the beautiful Stampin’ Up! Artistically Inked bundle and the gorgeous Expressions In Ink specialty designer series paper. With colorful alcohol ink designed backgrounds that have touches of gold, this DSP is perfect for making beautiful, yet simple and easy cards. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered a panel of Expressions in Ink specialty DSP to the front of a Melon Mambo card base. I applied some adhesive sheets to the back of a Basic White panel and cut out the large flower die from the Artistic dies in the Stampin’ Up! Artistically Inked bundle. I pulled off the adhesive backing and adhered the floral die cut to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Artistically Inked cling stamp set in Versamark ink on a Melon Mambo panel. I sprinkled it with white embossing powder and shook off the excess. I heated the powder with my heat tool until it was shiny and cut it out with one of the fancy Tailor Made Tags. I cut another tag from Gold Foil and adhered it to the back.

I looped lengths of white crinkle and Flirty Flaming metallic ribbons through the holes and tied it with gold trim. I adhered the tags to the card front with dimensionals.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the triple flower stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Artistically Inked stamp set in Melon Mambo in the corner of a Basic White panel. I trimmed the bottom with a strip of DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The stamps in the Stampin’ Up! Artistically Inked bundle are gorgeous and the sentiments are ones that you’ll use over and over. And aren’t the die cuts just gorgeous?

Stampin’ Up! Artfully Layered for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! Today I used the pretty Stampin’ Up! Artfully Layered bundle with the Artfully Composed designer series paper for a colorful, tropical Hello card. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a Color Challenge this week and here is the pretty color palette we are using:

I adhered a panel of Layering Designs vellum on the front of a Just Jade card base with strips of Stampin’ Seal in the middle of the card front (it will be covered by the DSP layer. I adhered a panel of Pale Papaya Artfully Composed DSP to an Evening Evergreen mat and adhered a strip of colorful, leafy DSP on the side. I used the pinked edge die from the Tropical Leaves dies in the Stampin’ Up! Artfully Layered bundle to cut a strip of Evening Evergreen and adhered it across the bottom.

I cut the detailed long leaf die from the Tropical Layers dies from Calypso coral and adhered it to the panel with glue dots. I cut a leaf from the Artfully Composed DSP with the Tropical Layer die and cut a panel of Evening Evergreen with the detailed die. I adhered the detailed die cut to the DSP die cut with dots of liquid glue and adhered the layered leaf to the panel with glue dots. I adhered the panel to the card front with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Artfully Layered stamp set in Calypso Coral Basic White and cut it out with the plain oval part of the Double Oval Punch. I folded a short length of Just Jade ribbon and adhered it to the back of the label and adhered the label to the card front with dimensionals. I finished the card with Gilded Gems.

For the inside, I stamped the leaves from the Stampin’ Up! Artfully Layered stamp set in Just Jade in the top corner of a Basic White panel. I adhered a strip of Artfully Composed DSP to the bottom and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Artfully Layered cling stamp set has pretty tropical leaf stamps and great sentiments, and the coordinating dies are just wonderful! The Artfully Composed designer series paper goes perfectly with these items and they are so much fun to use in making fun cards.

Stampin’ Up! Mischievous Mice Hello Card

Good Morning! Today I made a little hello card with the Stampin’ Up! Mischievous Mice cling stamp set. This is a Host set from the Jan-Jun 2022 Mini Catalog that you purchase with Host Dollars that you earn when you host a workshop with more than $150 in sales or make a purchase of that amount, and it is so cute! I used a couple of the images and a sentiment from the set for my card. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I embossed a strip of Real Red with the new Gingham embossing folder and adhered it to a panel of striped Pattern Party designer series paper. I adhered the layered DSP to the front of a Granny Apple Green card base.

I stamped the large mouse from the Stampin’ Up! Mischievous Mice stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black on a Basic White panel and cut it out with the second largest Layering Circle die. I colored it with Gray Granite, So Saffron, Light Petal Pink and Light Pool Party Stampin’ Blends and adhered it to the white side of a Heart & Home doily with liquid glue.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Mischievous Mice stamp set in Versamark ink on Basic Black and sprinkled it with white embossing powder. I shook off the excess and heated the powder with my heat tool until it was shiny. I cut it out with the little banner label die from the Give It A Whirl dies and adhered it to the layered circles with glue dots. I adhered the circles and label to the card front with dimensionals and finished it with three adhesive sequins.

For the inside of the card, I adhered a strip of Paper Party DSP to the bottom of a Basic White panel. I stamped the little mouse (without the balloon) from the Stampin’ Up! Mischievous Mice stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black on another Basic White panel. I colored it with Gray Granite and Light Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends and fussy cut it with paper snips. I adhered it just above the DSP strip and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Mischievous Mice stamp set is real cute and great for coloring. It has a variety of sentiments and can be used for many occasions.

Stampin’ Up! Boughs and Blossoms Hello Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Boughs and Blossoms bundle is a pretty floral cling stamp set that comes with sweet sentiments and a two sided punch that punches out leaves on one side and flowers on the other. The flowers are solid graphic floral designs rather than line art designs and they are very versatile. Today I made my own DSP panel in Polished Pink, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green and Poppy Parade with these pretty floral stamps, and I pulled in the little flower from the Lovely You stamp set as well. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered a panel of Polished Pink 2021-2023 In Color designer series paper to the front of a Thick Basic White card base. I stamped the flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Boughs and Blossoms stamp set in Polished Pink and Daffodil delight randomly on a Basic White panel. I stamped a few leaves in Granny Apple Green and finally used the little flower from the Lovely You stamp set to fill in the spaces with Poppy Parade.

I used the scalloped edge die from the Penned Flowers die to cut the edge of a Granny Apple Green panel and adhered the stamped panel on top. I adhered the layered panel to the front of my card. I used the bough punch from the Stampin’ Up! Boughs and Blossoms bundle to punch a Granny Apple Green leaf sprig and a Daffodil Delight flower sprig.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Boughs and Blossoms stamp set in Granny Apple Green on Basic White and cut it out with the banner die from the Give It A Whirl dies. I used the Messages die to cut a banner from the Polished Pink 2021-2023 In Color DSP and cut it in half. This allowed me to adhere each piece of the die cut and get the overlap to the right length. I adhered the punched leaves and flowers with glue dots and the label with dimensionals and finished with a little bumblebee trinket!

For the inside of the card, I stamped the flower and leaf from the Stampin’ Up! Boughs and Blossoms stamp set in Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green on a Basic White panel. I added some Poppy Parade flowers from the Lovely You stamp set and trimmed the side with a strip of DSP .

The Stampin’ Up! Boughs and Blossoms bundle is a wonderful floral stamp set for Spring and it can be easily combined with other solid flower stamp sets in your stash. I love the random stamping technique to make my own DSP because I can use whatever colors I feel like. This stamp set is perfect for the job.

Stampin’ Up! Cactus Cuties Hello Card with Video Tutorial

Good Morning! I pulled out the sweet Stampin’ Up! Cactus Cuties bundle this weekend and had so much fun playing with this wonderful bundle! I made two different sample cards using the same sketch as the card I made for my Facetime Live yesterday afternoon, but used different color palettes and cactus designs. This is such a versatile set!! You can find the supplies I used in my video at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

Here is the video of my Facebook Live from yesterday afternoon. I also posted a copy of the video in my YouTube channel and you can view it here if you prefer.

I adhered a panel of Artfully Composed designer series paper to a Soft Suede mat and adhered it to the front of a Mint Macaron card base. I cut a Basic White panel with the 4th smallest Stitched Rectangle die and stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Cactus Cuties stamp set in Cinnamon Cider ink. I adhered it to a Soft Suede mat and began building my cactus panel.

I stamped the cactus pot from the Stampin’ Up! Cactus Cuties photopolymer stamp set in Cinnamon Cider ink on Basic White and cut it out with the Cactus Builder Punch. I stamped the spiky cactus in Mint Macaron twice on Basic White and fussy cut the leaves. I used the pansy bud stem die from the Pansy Dies to cut two stems from Mint Macaron and trimmed off the buds with my paper snips. I stamped two flowers in Polished Pink and punched them out with the Cactus Builder punch. I adhered the pot to the bottom of the die cut panel with dimensionals and tucked in two of the leaves adhered with liquid glue. I adhered the die cut stems with the Fine-Tipped glue (as usual I forgot to apply my adhesive strip before die cutting – this would have been a perfect time to use them) and adhered the rest of the leaves on top. I adhered the flowers to the stem tips with liquid glue and adhered the panel to the card front with dimensionals. I finished this card with a gold bumblebee and linen thread bow.

This was my Bumblebee sample card where my DSP strip is from the Sale-A-Bration Daffodil Afternoon pack. The cactus from the Stampin’ Up! Cactus Cuties is stamped in Old Olive and the flowers in Bumblebee. The pieces are all punched except for the middle ear, which is fussy cut. The pot is Cinnamon Cider and the piece is finished with a knotted length of Linen Thread. The mats are done in Old Olive along with the sentiment.

My Pool Party sample uses the In The Wild DSP and the cactus is stamped in Evening Evergreen and fussy cut. The pot is also fussy cut and stamped in Sahara Sand, but the flowers are stamped in Cajun Craze and punched. Since the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Cactus Cuties is a little longer, I stamped it in Cajun Craze on Sahara Sand and cut it out with the Tasteful Textile die. The art panel is die cut from Pool Party and the mats are Soft Suede.

For the inside of the card, I stamped a little vignette in the corner of a Basic White panel that used the same Stampin’ Up! Cactus Cuties stamps and colors as the card front. I trimmed the bottom of the panel in the same DSP as the front and adhered the panels to the inside of the cards with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Cactus Cuties bundle is a wonderful little set and would be perfect for cactus themed note cards or tags as well as cards. I love how versatile the designs are and I love the way the Cactus Builder punch coordinates with the stamps to punch without the white outline! Have fun with this set!

Stampin’ Up! Daffodil Daydream for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! I am sharing a Hello card today made with the beautiful Stampin’ Up! Daffodil Daydream bundle and the Sale-A-Bration Special Moments stamp set. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

We have a Theme Challenge this week. We’re sharing Spring projects and for me daffodils are one of the first signs of spring!

I adhered a panel of the Sale-A-Bration Daffodil Afternoon designer series paper to a Very Vanilla mat and wrapped a length of Pale Papaya ribbon around it and tied a knot. I popped it on the front of a Pale Papaya card base with dimensionals. I cut a panel of Very Vanilla with the second largest circle from the Layering circle die and a panel of Pale Papaya with the second largest scalloped circle die. I embossed the Very Vanilla circle with the Meadow Moments embossing folder and adhered it to the scalloped circle. I adhered the layered circles to the card front with dimensionals over the ribbon.

I stamped stamped a Very Vanilla panel with the single daffodil from the Stampin’ Up! Daffodil Daydream cling stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored it with Pale Papaya and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends and I used a blender pen to apply craft white ink on the bottom petals. I cut it out with the coordinating die and adhered it to the embossed circle with glue dots.

I stamped the sentiment from the Sale-A-Bration Special Moments stamp set in Old Olive on a Very Vanilla panel. I cut it out with the small pinked circle from the Tasteful Labels dies and adhered it to the card front with glue dots. I finished the card front with the pretty little brushed brass butterflies.

For the inside, I inked up the small daffodil stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Daffodil Daydream stamp set in Pale Papaya ink and stamped it off twice before stamping in the center of a Very Vanilla panel. I trimmed the bottom with a strip of the Daffodil Afternoon DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Daffodil Daydream bundle is really versatile with pretty stamped daffodils and awesome die cut daffodils, so be sure to check it out. And don’t forget that Sale-A-Bration is ending on Monday! There are only 5 days left to pick up Sale-A-Bration items, such as the Special Moments stamp set or the Daffodil Afternoon DSP, for Free with your qualifying orders, so don’t delay.

Stampin’ Up! Artfully Layered Hello Card

Good Morning! It’s another cold winter day so I made a card with the Stampin’ Up! Artfully Layered bundle to remind me of the warm tropics. I paired the fun sentiments and lush tropical foliage stamps with the die cut pineapple from the In The Tropics dies for a Hello card. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered a panel of the Artfully Composed designer series paper to an Evening evergreen mat and popped it all on an Old Olive card base. I used snail in the middle of a panel of the beautiful Layering Designs vellum to adhere it to the card front (it will be covered by the pineapple). I die cut a panel of Just Jade with the leaf sprig die from the Tropical Layers dies in the Stampin’ Up! Artfully Layered bundle and adhered it to the card front with glue dots. The vellum gives me just enough contrast to prevent the die cut from fading into the DSP, and the die cut helps to tie the pineapple to the DSP (plus I love how leaving a few of the center leaves in makes the die cut casual).

I die cut the pineapple from the In The Tropics dies from Bumblebee and sponged Cinnamon Cider ink around the edges and points. I fussy cut a Bumblebee backing using the die cut and adhered the die cut to the front. I cut a panel of Old Olive with the pineapple top and sponged the edges with Evening Evergreen and curled the leaves with my fingers. I adhered the pineapple top to the card front with glue dots and popped the pineapple on top with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Artfully Layered cling stamp set in Versamark ink on an Evening Evergreen panel and sprinkled it with white embossing powder. I shook off the excess and heated the powder with my heat tool until it was shiny. I cut the sentiment out with the Messages die and adhered it to the card front with glue dots (where it overlapped the pineapple) and dimensionals. I finished it with an Evening Evergreen iridescent jewel.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the leaf sprig from the Stampin’ Up! Artfully Layered stamp set in twice stamped off Evening Evergreen ink in the corners of a Basic White panel and trimmed the bottom with a strip of Artfully Composed DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

A big pineapple against tropical foliage – this little hello is sure to warm you on the coldest winter day!

Join me for a Facebook Live this Afternoon!

I’m planning to go live on my Facebook Page at 1:00 ET this afternoon to make another touch of tropics card with the Stampin’ Up! Artfully Layered bundle. Look forward to seeing you then!

Stampin’ Up! Hello Ladybug Video Tutorial

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Hello Ladybug bundle is so adorable. With the bold, graphic ladybug stamps and coordinating Ladybug Builder Punch, it is so easy to make a bunch of cute little bugs to decorate cards and tags. I made this cute little fun fold card during my Facebook Live yesterday afternoon. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

Here is the video of my Facebook Live from yesterday afternoon. I also posted a copy of the video in my YouTube channel and you can view it here if you prefer.

I a panel of pretty multicolor Flowering Fields designer series paper to a So Saffron panel. I adhered another Mango Melody Flowering Fields Panel to the front of my mini card. I adhered my mini card to the DSP panel with Tear & Tape adhesive. I stamped the leaf from the Stampin’ Up! Hello Ladybug photopolymer stamp set in Pear Pizzazz on Basic White and fussy cut it with a small white border. I adhered the leaf to the mini card front with liquid glue.

I stamped the large flower from the Stampin’ Up! Hello Ladybug stamp set three times in Highland Heather ink and cut them out with the Medium Daisy Punch. I curved the petals and adhered the clusters together with liquid glue and adhered it to the card front with dimensionals, finishing the center with an iridescent rhinestone. I stamped two ladybug wings with Poppy Parade ink on Basic White and punched them out with the Ladybug Builder Punch. I punched out two ladybug bodies from Pattern Party DSP and Basic Black card stock. I inked the edges of the Pattern Party bodies with my black Stamp & Write marker and adhered them to the Basic Black cardstock bodies. I adhered the wings with liquid glue and adhered Black Matte Dots to the wing spots.

I adhered the ladybugs to the card front with dimensionals, letting them hang over the sides of the mini card. I stamped the hello sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Hello Ladybug stamp set in Poppy Parade on Basic White and trimmed it with my paper snips. I adhered the label to the card front on top of the leaf.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Hello Ladybug stamp set in Poppy Parade on a basic White panel. I trimmed the bottom with a strip of the Flowering Fields DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Hello Ladybug bundle is the cutest! You can punch out the ladybug from colored card stock, stamped card stock and designer series paper for a wide range of styles. The bold stamps compliment the punched bugs and the sentiments are perfect for expressions of friendship, support and good wishes.

Stampin’ Up! Sentimental Swirls for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! For today card, I used the sweet hello sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Sentimental Swirls photopolymer stamp set with the pretty Sale-A-Bration Daffodil Afternoon designer series paper to make my card for today. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

We have a color challenge this week that is perfect with the Sale-A-Bration Daffodil Afternoon DSP:

I cut a panel of floral Daffodil Afternoon designer series paper into thirds and adhered each strip to a Mossy Meadow mat with liquid glue. I did the sides first and then the middle, and had a little time to move things around to get them spaced evenly. I adhered a Pale Papaya panel of the Daffodil Afternoon DSP to the front of a Thick Very Vanilla card base with liquid glue and adhered the floral panel to the card front with dimensionals.

I stamped the pretty sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Sentimental Swirls stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink on a Pale Papaya panel and cut it out with the Messages die.

I folded a strip of Pale Papaya ribbon and adhered it to the back of the label with glue dots. I adhered the label to the card front with dimensionals and finished the card with three iridescent jewels.

For the inside, I adhered a panel of Very Vanilla card stock to another panel of Pale Papaya Daffodil Afternoon DSP and adhered them both to the inside of the card. This leaves plenty of room to write a personal message!

The Sale-A-Bration Daffodil Afternoon designer series paper is so pretty that it makes a wonderful card on it’s own. And it goes great with the sweet sentiments from the Stampin’ Up! Sentimental Swirls stamp set (I love, love, love this font!). But Sale-A-Bration ends in a couple of weeks, so be sure to pick up yours soon!

Stampin’ Up! Friendly Hello Sneak Peek

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Friendly Hello bundle is a Sale-A-Bration item that you can choose for FREE with a $100 order (before shipping and taxes) during the upcoming Jan-Feb 2022 Sale-A-Bration that begins on January 4, 2022. It consists of a pretty photopolymer stamp set along with a set of coordinating designer series paper! I used it to make today’s pretty Hello Friend card. You can find the currently available supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Friendly Hello stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a panel of Friendly Hello designer series paper in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and adhered it to the front of a Pool Party card base. I cut a panel of Friendly Hello DSP with the bird and flowers centered on the panel. I cut two Shaded Spruce strips with the Ornate Layers die and adhered them to the top and bottom back of the bird panel and adhered the bird panel to the stamped DSP panel. I adhered the layered DSP panel to the front of a Pool Party card base.

I stamped the bird and flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Friendly Hello stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a Basic White panel. I colored the bird in Pool Party and the flowers in Fresh Freesia, Petal Pink and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends. I fussy cut the bird and flowers with my Paper Snips and adhered them over the bird and flowers in the DSP.

I adhered faux pearls around the bird and made a bow with Pool Party ribbon and adhered it to the front with a glue dot.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Flowers of Friendship stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the flowers and leaves from the Stampin’ Up! Friendly Hello stamp set in Fresh Freesia and Granny Apple Green on the top corner of the panel. I trimmed the bottom of the panel with a strip of the Friendly Hello DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The coordinating images in the Stampin’ Up! Friendly Hello Sale-A-Bration bundle are sweet and the stamp set has some pretty sentiments. Here’s a picture of the stamp set with some of the pretty papers:

The colors in the pretty Stampin’ Up! Friendly Hello designer series paper are Basic Black, Fresh Freesia, Granny Apple Green, Petal Pink, Pool Party and Shaded Spruce. These colors are so soft and fresh and perfect for spring.
