Stampin’ Up! In Bloom Cards

Good Morning! Today I want to share some pretty cards made with the Stampin’ Up! In Bloom bundle. This is a versatile floral bundle with bold, modern graphic designs and fun sentiments. And the flower die cuts have stitched motifs that give the flowers extra texture and interest! Here are some simple cards made by the Stampin’ Up! Design team to give you some ideas:

I love how the large flowers are double stamped, giving a fuller flower and adding dimension. See the cute stitched die cut flowers? I have to try the pleated ribbon technique soon – that’s such a nice touch.

This card is so retro and I just love it! I especially love the diagonal sentiment inset contrasting with the stamped floral faux DSP!

This card really shows off the stitched die cut flowers and leaves. How cleaver to have a box opening with a burst of flowers!

There are simple recipes for making these cards with the Stampin’ Up! In Bloom bundle, and you can get them HERE. I need to get this bundle out and play with it more this week as I have only used it on last week’s card with the Paper Blooms Sale A Bration DSP. Here are close ups of the stamps and dies. Click on the pictures to get the full descriptions and to shop in my Online Store.

Thanks for looking and I hope you consider the Stampin’ Up! In Bloom bundle for your next floral stamp set.

Stampin’ Up! Hydrangea Haven for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop I have a sneak peek of the pretty new Stampin’ Up! Hydrangea Haven bundle and the new Hydrangea Hill designer series paper from the new Jan-Jun 2021 Mini Catalog. You can find the currently available supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

We have a theme challenge this week, and the theme is that we are to use something new for our projects! So the Stampin’ Up! Hydrangea Haven bundle is perfect for today’s project!

I adhered a panel of the new Hydrangea Hill designer series paper to the front of a Highland Heather card base. I used the fancy die cut from the Ornate Layers Dies to cut out a large frame from Whisper White and adhered a smaller panel of Hydrangea Hill DSP to the center. I popped it on the card front with dimensionals.

I stamped the lined hydrangea image from the Stampin’ Up! Hydrangea Haven photopolymer stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Thick Whisper White card stock and colored it with Highland Heather and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends. I cut it out with the corresponding die from the Hydrangea Dies.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Hydrangea Haven stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Crumb Cake card stock and cut it out with the little tag die. I tied it around the die cut flower with linen thread and adhered the flower to the card front with dimensionals. I made a fluffy bow with more linen thread and adhered it to the flower to finish the card front.

I stamped the outline hydrangea flowers in the corners of a Whisper White panel using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and stamped over them with Highland Heather ink and the corresponding solid image stamp. I stamped the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and added a strip of Hydrangea Hill to the bottom before adhering it to the inside of the card.

The new Stampin’ Up! Hydrangea Haven bundle looks like it’s going to be very versatile and fun to play with. And the sentiments are really sweet, and I love that several of them are small enough to be stamped on the little flower tag like I did today. Check out the bundle in the picture below and remember that it will be available for purchase next week on January 5! Yay!!

Stampin’ Up! Boho Indigo Such Happy News Card

Good Morning! The pretty Stampin’ Up! Boho Indigo Product Medley has a little bit of everything – stamps, dies, designer series and specialty paper, embellishments, ribbons and pre-stamped die cuts. Everything coordinates in shades of blue – Night of Navy and Misty Moonlight – with touches of Garden Green, Gold and Very Vanilla. I used the stamps, dies and designer series paper to create my Such Happy News card for today. You can find the supplies used to create this card and the card stock cuts at the bottom of this post.

I adhered a panel of the dark Boho Indigo designer series paper to a Whisper White mat and then to the front of a Night of Navy card base with Stampin’ Seal. I cut a panel of the light floral Boho Indigo DSP with the large skinny Stitched Rectangle die and adhered it to the front.

I cut a vellum panel with the large stitched circle die from the Stitched Shapes dies and adhered it with Stampin Seal under the vase. I stamped the vase from the Stampin’ Up! Boho Indigo photopolymer stamp set in Night of Navy ink on Whisper White and cut it out with the coordinating die. I cut out the two leaves from Pear Pizzazz with the Stampin’ Up! Boho Indigo dies and sponged the ends of the leaves with Pear Pizzazz ink. I adhered the leaves to the card front with glue dots.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Boho Indigo stamp set in Versamark ink on a Night of Navy panel and sprinkled it with white Stampin’ Emboss powder. I heat set the powder until shiny and cut it out with the Stitched Rectangle die. I adhered the label and vase to the card front with dimensionals. I finished the card front with three pearl gemstones.

For the inside of the card, I stamped a flower and two designs from the Stampin’ Up! Boho Indigo stamp set in Night of Navy ink at the top of a Whisper White panel and I trimmed the bottom with a strip of the dark DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Product Medleys are the largest of the ‘kits’ with full sized packs of designer series paper, stamps and coordinating dies and embellishments. And the Stampin’ Up! Boho indigo Medley is a beautiful one with all the vases and mixed florals with geometric designs. Click on the picture below to get a full description of the contents in my Online Store.

Stampin’ Up! Whale Done CAS Card

Good Morning! Today I have a whimsical CAS (Clean and Simple) card made with the new Stampin’ Up! Whale Done stamp bundle. This photopolymer stamp set has some nice sea creatures and plant images with cute punny sentiments and comes with the Whale Builder Punch. I used the punch to create the whale in today’s card. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I cut a panel of the Whale of a Time designer series paper with the third smallest scalloped rectangle from the Stitched so Sweetly dies and adhered it the center of a Thick Whisper white card base. I embossed a small panel of vellum card stock with the Seabed 3D Embossing Folder and adhered it to the die cut DSP with glue dots under the areas for the label and whale.

I punched the whale from a strip of Misty Moonlight with the Whale Builder Punch, carefully making sure I got the whale body, flipper and eye. I punched the whale’s belly and water splashes with Balmy Blue card stock. I colored the eye with the Misty Moonlight Stampin’ Blend to give it some contrast. I adhered the Balmy Blue whale belly to the bottom of the Misty Moonlight body with liquid glue. I adhered the flipper on top with liquid glue and used a small dot of liquid glue to adhere the eye. Then I adhered the whale and water splashes to the card front with glue dots.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Whale Done stamp set in Misty Moonlight ink on a small panel of Whisper White. I cut it out with the smallest scalloped rectangle die from the Stitched So Sweetly dies. I adhered it to the card front with glue dots. I finished off the card front with three Whale of a Time sequins adhered with glue dots.

For the inside of the card, I adhered a panel of the Whale of a Time designer series paper to the side of a Whisper White panel. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

Clean and Simple or CAS card design is characterized by simple lines, bold coloring, minimal layering and lots of white space. I often have difficulty creating CAS cards because I love fussy layers with embellishments and contrasting patterns. Having the cute little whale makes the job so much easier!

Stampin’ Up! Many Mates Congrats Card

Good Morning! Today I have a congratulations card made with the sweet sentiments from the Stampin’ Up! Many Mates cling stamp set and the pretty Artistry Blooms designer series paper. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

This sheet of Artistry Blooms DSP is just awesome with the Gorgeous Grape and Magenta Madness and knew that I needed to use it for a graduation card for a young niece. So I adhered a panel onto a Magenta Madness mat and popped it on the front of a Gorgeous Grape card base with dimensionals. The Stampin’ Up! Many Mates congrats sentiment is perfect for this occasion because it is feminine but also light hearted, plus the set has many inside the card sentiments. So I stamped the sentiment on a panel of Whisper White and I found the die cut from the Perfect Parcels Dies fit it perfectly!

I cut a vellum panel with a scalloped rectangle from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies because I just love to use vellum on cards. And then I found these sweet flowers from the Wreath Builder Dies. They are the perfect size and the embossing adds the perfect bit of texture to make a set of Magenta Madness flowers for the card. I used the Sprig Punch to cut out some Granny Apple Green accents too.

I arranged the elements of the card and started by adhering the Granny Apple Green sprigs to the vellum. Then I knew where I could add the adhesive to the back of the vellum without it showing, so I added multipurpose liquid glue to those spots and adhered the vellum to the card front. Then I added the label with dimensionals and two flowers with dimensional and the last flower with liquid glue. I finished the flower centers with Crushed Curry Resin Dots.

I stamped one of the inside sentiments from the Stampin’ Up! Many Mates stamp set with Gorgeous Grape ink on a Whisper White panel. I adhered another die cut flower next to the sentiment and a strip of the pretty Artistry Blooms DSP to the bottom. I matted the panel with Magenta Madness and adhered it to the inside of the card.

The Artistry Blooms designer series paper is full of bright, artistic and fun designs! And the Stampin’ Up! Many Mates stamp set is the perfect compliment with its variety of sentiments. Check them out in my Online Store, along with all the other wonderful new products in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog

Stampin’ Up! Witty-cisms Graduation Card

Good Morning! Today’a card is a graduation card made with the Stampin’ Up! Witty-cisms cling stamp set. This stamp set is on the retiring list so it is available while supplies last, but it is full of cute and clever images and sentiments. Cards made with this stamp set are sure to bring a smile to anyone receiving them. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered a panel of the Daffodil Delight confetti paper from the Birthday Bonanza designer series paper to a Basic Black mat with multipurpose liquid glue. I adhered the Bermuda Bay confetti paper on top and the present paper on the bottom. I cut the fancy border from the Nature’s Thoughts dies from Basic Black and adhered it across the seam. I adhered the layered panel on a Bermuda Bay card base with multipurpose liquid glue.

I stamped the graduation cap image from the Stampin’ Up! Witty-cisms stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a Whisper White panel and colored the cap with Bermuda Bay Stampin’ Blend. I cut it out with the Layering Squares die. I adhered it to a Basic Black mat and popped it on the card with dimensionals. I finished the cap with a silver metallic pearl.

A simple, fun card to celebrate a graduation made with the Stampin’ Up! Witty-cisms cling stamp set and the colorful Birthday Bonanza designer series paper!

I chose the congratulations sentiment from the Beautiful Friendship photopolymer stamp set for the inside of the card since the font was similar to the one on the front. I stamped it with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a Whisper White panel before adhering it to the inside of the card with multipurpose liquid glue.

Stampin’ Up! Sailing Home Congratulations Card

Good Morning! Today I have a congratulations card made with the wonderful Stampin’ Up! Sailing Home bundle. This is a versatile set with great nautical images and die cuts that really make you smell the ocean air. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I embossed a panel of Balmy Blue card stock with the Subtle 3D embossing folder and adhered a strip of Come Sail Away designer series paper to the middle. I adhered it o a Balmy Blue card base.

I stamped the small sailboat from the Stampin’ Up! Sailing Home cling stamp set twice in Night of Navy ink on Sahara Sand card stock and cut it out with the second largest Stitched Nested Label Dies. I made a knot with the Night of Navy/Sahara Sand baker’s twine and wrapped it around the panel, securing it in the back. I adhered the pane to the middle of the card with dimensionals.

I stamped the large sailboat from the Stampin’ Up! Sailing Home cling stamp set in Night of Navy ink on a Whisper White panel and cut it out with the coordinating die from the Smooth Sailing Dies. I adhered the sailboat to the panel with dimensionals. I stamped the Congrats sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Sailing Home cling stamp set in Night of Navy ink on a Sahara Sand panel and cut it out with the little banner label die from the Smooth Sailing Dies. I adhered it to the panel with multipurpose liquid glue and dimensionals.

I stamped the wonderful sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Sailing Home cling stamp set in Night of Navy ink on a Whisper White panel and the small sailboat in Sahara Sand next to it. I trimmed the bottom with a strip of the Come Sail Away DSP and adhered it to the inside of the card.

Nautical themed cards are great for masculine cards and the Stampin’ Up! Sailing Home bundle is the best. And I’m glad that both the Sailing Home cling stamp set and Smooth Sailing Dies will be carrying over into the new 2020-2021 Annual Catalog, however they will no longer be sold as a bundle with the 10% discount. So if you are considering getting both with the discount, head over to my Online Store to buy the bundle while it’s still available.

Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Moments Congratulations Card

Good Morning! Today I have a Congratulations card made with the Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Moments bundle. This stamp set has wonderful sentiments and is bundled with the Poppy Moments dies that create beautiful die cut poppies. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I cut the large poppy with the dies in the Poppy Moments die set in Real Red and Poppy Parade card stocks. I cut the solid piece from Poppy Parade and the outline piece from Real Red. I adhered them with liquid glue and added a center cut from Basic Black card stock. I cut two sets of the large single leaf dies, using Mossy Meadow for the outline and Old Olive for the solid. I adhered them together with liquid glue.

I cut a panel of Old Olive card stock and embossed it with the Layered Leaves 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered it to the bottom of a Blackberry Bliss mat with snail and added a panel of Peaceful Poppies designer series paper to the top. I covered the seam with a strip of Real Red Stitched Ribbon and secured it in the back. I stamped the Congratulations greeting from the Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Moments stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a strip of Rick Razzleberry and trimmed the ends before adhering it to the embossed Old Olive panel with liquid glue.

I adhered the leaves using liquid glue and popped the flower on with dimensionals. I finished off the panel with a Real Red bow and clear gemstones. I popped the panel on the front of the card with dimensionals.

For the inside of the card, I adhered a strip of the same Peaceful Poppies DSP to the bottom of a Whisper White panel before adhering it to a Blackberry Bliss mat. I then adhered it to the inside of the card. I finished off the inside by adhering a small die cut poppy that was made with Poppy Parade, Real Red and Basic Black card stock.

The die cut poppies in the Poppy Moments are so dramatic and make every card special. And they go so well with the wonderful greetings in the Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Moments stamp set.

Stampin’ Up! Sending You Thoughts and Sending Flowers Congratulations Card

Good Morning! Today is Coordination Products Release Day!! And to celebrate, I have a special spring congratulations card made with a the Stampin’ Up! Sending Flowers die set that is part of the new items available today. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I cut a panel of the striped Pleased as Punch designer series paper, which is also available today in the Coordination Product Release, and adhered it to a Granny Apple Green card base.

I cut the pretty circular floral die from the Stampin’ Up! Sending Flowers dies from Thick Whisper White Card Stock. I colored the stems and leaves on each flower with the Light Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blend. I cut two sets of flowers each from Highland Heather, Blushing Bride, Pool Party and Daffodil Delight card stock. I adhered the die cut flowers on each stem of the frame with tiny dots of multipurpose liquid glue. I adhered the die cut panel on the card front with dimensionals, carefully trimming and placing a piece of a dimensional behind each flower. I accented each of the petal flowers with a pearl.

I cut the scalloped label from Pool Party card stock using the scalloped label die from the Stampin’ Up! Sending Flowers dies. I stamped the Congratulation! sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Sending You Thoughts Sale-A-Bration stamp set in Granny Apple Green ink on a strip of Daffodil Delight card stock. I cut it out with the banner die from the Sending Flowers dies using the two step technique so that it would be shorter than normal. I adhered the labels together with snail and adhered it to the card with snail. I stamped the Whisper White crinkle ribbon with Pool Party ink and the small splotch stamp in the Painted Petals stamp set. I tied a bow and adhered it to the label with a glue dot. I finished the label with a pearl on the other end.

I decorated the inside by adhering some of the leftover die cut flowers on the bottom of a Whisper White panel. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card. A cheerful Spring themed congratulations card is great for many occasions – new baby, graduation, engagement, promotion – all wonderful causes for celebration!

The Stampin’ Up! Sending You Thoughts Sale-A-Bration stamp set is FREE with a $50 purchase during Sale-A-Bration which is going on now. It has lots of cute sentiments that can be used for many occasions. The Stampin’ Up! Sending Flowers die set and Pleased as Punch designer series paper are finally available today for the first time as part of the Coordination Release! This special release has products that coordinate with Sale-A-Bration items or items in the new Catalog.

Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Friendship Congratulations Card

Good Morning! I am sharing a card I made for a special lady who just got engaged. I made it with the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Friendship photopolymer stamp set and used the Sale-A-Bration Sending You Thoughts cling stamp set for the sentiments. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

The design for this card was inspired by the sketch in the Global Design Project 222 Sketch Challenge. Check it out along with the other entries in the challenge.

I started by cutting two panels of Woven Threads designer series paper and adhering them together with multipurpose liquid glue. I ran the DSP through the Scripty embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a Seaside Spray card base with multipurpose liquid glue.

I stamped the flowers on the main panel with the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Friendship photopolymer stamp set. I used Rococo Rose, Seaside Spray, So Saffron, Pear Pizzazz and Soft Sea Foam inks on a Whisper White Panel. I brushed some clear Wink of Stella on the flowers to give them a touch of sparkle.

I stamped the sentiment from the Sale-A-Bration stamp set Sending You Thoughts in Smoky Slate ink in the upper corner. I adhered the panel to a Rococo Rose mat and wrapped a length of Seaside Spray metallic ribbon around it, securing it in the back. I made a bow with the ribbon and adhered it to the front with glue dots and popped the panel on the card front with dimensionals. I finished off the floral panel with a Seaside Spray faceted gem.

On the inside of the card, I stamped the hydrangea flower from the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Friendship stamp set in the lower corner of a Whisper White panel in Seaside Spray ink. I added some Pear Pizzazz leaves and stamped the sentiment from the Sending You Thoughts stamp set in Smoky Slate ink. I added a strip of Woven Threads DSP that I embossed with the Scripty embossing folder to the bottom and adhered it to a Rococo Rose mat before adhering it to the inside of the card with multipurpose liquid glue. I also stamped the hydrangeas and leaves on a Whisper White envelope to match.

These sentiments from the Sending You Thoughts stamp set are perfect for an engagement card. And the sentiments from this stamp set are great for a lot of celebrations. You can get the Sending You Thoughts stamp set for FREE with a $50 purchase during Sale-A-Bration.
