Stampin’ Up! Delicate Forest Birthday Card

Good Morning! I used the Stampin’ Up! Delicate Forest stamp set with the Meandering Meadows and Country Woods designer series papers to make a masculine birthday card. The wood grain patterns look great with the watercolor woodland scenes! You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I adhered a panel of Country Woods designer series paper to a Pecan Pie mat and adhered them to the front of a Crumb Cake card base with liquid glue.

I stamped the tree from the Stampin’ Up! Delicate Forest stamp set in Garden Green and Early Espresso inks on a panel of Woodland Meadow 6″ x 6″ designer series paper. I cut it out with the Deckled Rectangle die using a two step method, so that it lets the stamped tree be the focal point. I adhered the die cut panel to a Pretty Peacock mat and wrapped it with Crumb Cake baker’s Twine and made a knot. I popped the panel on the card front with dimensionals.

I used the new Everyday Greetings and Greetings of the Season stamp sets to stamp the ‘Happy Birthday’ sentiment using Pretty Peacock ink on Crumb Cake card stock. I used the Deckled Rectangles dies to cut out the sentiment using a two step method and adhered it to a Pretty Peacock mat. I adhered the label to the card with dimensionals and glue dots. I finished the card with three textured metallic dots.

For the inside of the card I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Delicate Forest stamp set in Pretty Peacock ink on a Basic White panel. I inked up the tree stamp using Garden Green and Early Espresso inks and stamped it on the side. I used the small greenery stamp to stamp the brush on the bottom using Garden Green ink, both full strength and stamped off. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

Stamping on designer series paper is a fun technique and a great way to make it unique. The Stampin’ Up! Delicate Forest stamp set is pretty versatile and great for both Summer and Fall. And the coordinating dies are great as well!

Stampin’ Up! Winterly Tree Tops for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! I decided to use one of the birds from the upcoming Stampin’ Up! Winterly Tree Tops bundle (from the Sept-Dec 2024 Mini Catalog available Sept 4, 2024) with the pretty Meandering Meadows 6″ x 6″ designer series paper for a thank you card. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a fun theme challenge this week andI thought a sneak peek of this upcoming bundle would work with Summery DSP:

I adhered a panel of Meandering Meadows 6″ x6″ designer series paper to the front of a Balmy Blue card base. I cut a Pecan Pie panel with one of the Deckled Rectangles dies and embossed it with the Timber 3D embossing folder. I used one of the Deckled Circles dies to cut a scene from a Meandering Meadows panel and used the next largest circle to cut another panel that is predominantly Garden Green. I adhered the circles together and adhered them to the embossed panel with liquid glue. I wrapped it with linen thread and tied a bow. I adhered the panel to the card with dimensionals.

I stamped the single bird from the Stampin’ Up! Winterly Tree Top stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Basic White. I colored it with Petal Pink, Crumb Cake, Pecan Pie, Wild Wheat and Peach Pie Stampin’ blends and cut it out with the coordinating die. I adhered it to the card with dimensionals.

I stamped part of the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Winterly Tree Tops stamp set using Garden Green ink on Basic White. I cut it out with the small label die from the Wild Ferns dies and adhered it to the card with glue dots and dimensionals. I finished the card with textured dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the bird from the Stampin’ Up! Winterly Tree Tops stamp set using stamped off Crumb Cake ink on Basic White and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

I really like the birds from the Stampin’ Up! Winterly Tree Tops bundle and I think they look great with the Meandering Meadows 6×6 DSP. Together, they make a perfect summer thank you card. Here is the Stampin’ Up! Winterly Tree Tops bundle. It will be available September 4, 2024.

Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies You Made My Day Card

Good Morning! I am so much in love with the new Basic Beige neutral from the Stampin’ Up! 2024-2025 Annual Catalog, and I had to use it for another card today. I used the Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisy stamps and dies with the Meandering Meadows 6″ x 6″ designer series paper with a Basic Beige card base – what do you think? You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I embossed a panel of Basic Beige with the Fern 3D embossing folder and adhered it to a Basic Beige card base. I adhered a panel of Meandering Meadows 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to a Garden Green mat and wrapped a length of Linen Thread around it twice before tying a bow. I adhered the DSP panel to the card front with dimensionals.

I used the large triple flower die from the Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies dies to cut the leaves from Garden Green card stock. I adhered the leaves to the card with a glue dot, tucking it under the bow. I used the same die to cut the medium flower and trimmed the connected petals. I colored the center with a dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend. I used the medium detailed die to cut another Basic White panel and gently rolled the petals upward. I adhered it to the larger petal cluster with dots of liquid glue and adhered it to the card with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies stamp set in Garden Green ink on a Granny Apple Green strip. I cut it out with the angle label die from the Something Fancy dies using a two step method and adhered it to the card with glue dots and dimensionals. I finished the card with three iridescent green pearls.

I left the inside of the card blank, simply adhering a strip of DSP to the bottom of a Basic White panel. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal. I like the contrast of a Basic White inside panel with the Basic Beige frame, it’s subtle, but nto washed out.

The Basic Beige card base is perfect with the bold colors in the DSP image. I think it picks up some green from the image and mat and it goes well with the subtle pinks and blues in the sky. I love how the die cut daisy pops and picks up the daisies in the field. And I’m so glad that the Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies stamp set and dies are carried over to the new catalog. I’m ready to go out and pick some!

Stampin’ Up! Garden Meadow Hello Card

Good morning! Today I have a simple Hello card made with the Stampin’ Up! Garden Meadow stamp set and the pretty Meandering Meadows 6″ x 6″ designer series paper. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I adhered a panel of the Garden Meadow 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to Daffodil Delight and Shaded Spruce mats and popped them on the front of a Parakeet Party card base with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Garden Meadow stamp set in Shaded Spruce ink on a Parakeet Party panel and cut it out with the large circle die from the Radiating Stitches dies.

I tied a length of Parakeet Party metallic ribbon in a bow and adhered it to the back of the label with a glue dot and popped the label on the card front with dimensionals. I finished the card with three Parakeet Party iridescent pearls.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the little wildflower image from the Stampin’ Up! Garden Meadow stamp set in Shaded Spruce ink on a Basic White panel. I used the Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends to color the flower and dabbed the dark Mossy Meadow and Dark Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Blends around the flowers to add interest and match the front DSP. I trimmed the bottom with DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Garden Meadow bundle has sweet garden themed images and pretty sentiments. The beautiful Meandering Meadows 6″ x 6″ DSP has gorgeous woodland and wildflower images that make beautiful scenic cards quite easily. Both of these products are part of the Online Exclusive collection so will be around for a while. But the pretty Parakeet Party products are part of the 2022-2024 In Color collection that is retiring at the end of the month.

Stampin’ Up! Trucking Along for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good Morning! Welcome to the March Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop! The theme for this month’s hop is “Celebrate Spring” and I used the fun Stampin’ Up! Trucking Along bundle with the Meandering Meadows 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to celebrate celebrate spring with a drive in the countryside to pick up garden flowers. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

I embossed a panel of Meandering Meadows 6″ x 6″ designer series paper with the Painted Textures 3D embossing folder and adhered it to a Starry Sky mat.

I cut another panel of the DSP with the largest Stylish Shapes circle die. I used an old school technique to make the mat – I flipped the die over on Starry Sky card stock and traced a circle. I used my paper snips to fussy cut the circle and adhered the DSP to the back. I would have preferred a die cut or punched circle, but I didn’t have one and this technique worked out well. I adhered the layered circle to my embossed panel with liquid glue.

I wrapped the panel with a length of Pecan Pie ribbon and secured it in the back with Stampin’ Seal to make a “road” and adhered the panel to a Balmy Blue card base with dimensionals. I stamped the flower stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Trucking Along stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with Fresh Freesia, Petal Pink, Pecan Pie, Granny Apple Green and Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends.

I stamped the outline of the truck using the stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Trucking Around stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Basic White. I stamped the filler in Balmy Blue and colored the windows with the light Pool Party Stampin’ Blend. I used the Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends to color the wheels and fenders. I punched the truck out with the Stampin’ Up! Trucking Along builder punch and adhered it to the card with dimensionals. I fussy cut the stamped flowers with my paper snips and tucked it into the back of the truck, adhering it with a glue dot. I finished the card with brass swallows.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Trucking Along stamp set in Starry Sky ink on Basic White. I stamped the flower stamp several times along the bottom in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with Fresh Freesia, Petal Pink, Pecan Pie, Granny Apple Green and Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Trucking Along bundle is so cute and has so many cute stamps that you can use to full the truck bed for all different seasons. Hopefully I’ll be heading out soon to find flowers for my garden too!

Stampin’ Up! Softly Sketched for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! I used the sweet sentiments from the Stampin’ Up! Softly Sketched stamp set with the pretty Meandering Meadows 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to make a miss you card for a friend who is moving or taking another job.  You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a pretty sketch challenge this week:

I embossed a panel of Meandering Meadows 6″ x 6″ designer series paper with the Quatrefoil Tile embossing folder and used a sponge dauber to gently apply Old Olive ink to the embossed DSP. This accents the raised edges and tones down the brassiness of the Granny Apple Green background.

I adhered the embossed panel to a pretty meadow scene panel of the Meandering Meadows DSP before adhering the layered panel to a Balmy Blue mat.I adhered the panel to the front of an Old Olive card base with dimensionals. I adhered a short length of ribbon to the card with glue dots.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Softly Sketched stamp set using Old Olive ink on Daffodil Delight card stock. I cut the label out with the Stylish Shapes banner die using the two step die cutting technique and popped it on the card with dimensionals. I finished with three brass swallow embellishments.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Softly Sketched stamp set using Old Olive ink on a Basic White panel. I adhered a strip of DSP to the side before adhering the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

Don’t the scenes from the Meandering Meadows DSP make you excited for spring? They are so pretty and the small sentiments from the Stampin’ Up! Softly Sketched stamp set are perfectly sized and don’t distract from the landscape. And the pretty brass embellishments are perfect final touch!

So I pulled out some pretty meadow scenes in the Meandering Meadow 6″ x 6″ designer series paper and the sweet Stampin’ Up! Garden Meadow stamp set to make some thinking of you cards with warmer landscapes and it cheered me up! You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

These were really simple just using the pretty DSP and wonderful label dies for the sentiments. I adhered the DSP panel to a Garden Green Mat with liquid glue and popped it on a Balmy Blue card base.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Garden Meadows stamp set in Garden Green ink on Balmy Blue and cut it out with the small rectangular die from the Something Fancy Dies. I used the middle sized rectangular die to cut a mat and adhered the labels together.

I adhered a length of Balmy Blue and white ribbon to the card front with glue dots and adhered the label on top with dimensionals. I finished the card with coordinating colors from the pretty Glossy Dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the basket and shadow from the Stampin’ Up! Garden Meadow stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a Basic White panel. I colored it with Stampin’ Blends and adhered a strip of DSP to the side. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

Pretty designer series paper makes it so easy to create simple handmade cards for any occasion and the Meandering Meadow DSP is a perfect pick me up for cold, dreary winter days. And the Stampin’ Up! Garden Meadow stamp set has so many simple pretty designs that you can use to make the inside of the card special.
