Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet Valentine’s Day Card

Good Morning! With Valentine’s Day around the corner, I pulled out my Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet stamp set and punch to use with the pretty Bee Mine designer series paper for a Valentine’s day card. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I adhered a panel of Daffodil Delight plaid Bee Mine Designer series paper to a Pool Party mat and adhered it to the front of a Sweet Sorbet card base with dimensionals. I cut another panel of the Bee mine DSP with one of the square dies from the Stylish Shapes dies and adhered it to a Pool Party mat.

I wrapped a length of Sweet Sorbet ribbon across the left side of the card, folding it and adhering it with Stampin’ Seal. I made it long enough to extend beyond the square and adhered the square on top with dimensionals. I stamped the large heart from the Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet stamp set in Sweet Sorbet ink on Basic White and punched it out. I stamped the leaves in Pool Party ink on Basic White and punched them out. I adhered the leaves to the bottom of the heart with glue dots and adhered the leaves and heart to the square with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet stamp set in Sweet Sorbet ink on a Basic White panel. I cut it out with the second smallest banner die from the Stylish Shapes dies and adhered it to the card with glue dots and dimensionals. I finished the little square with hearts and flowers embellishments.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the Valentine’s Day sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet stamp set in Sweet Sorbet ink on a Basic White panel. I used stamped off Pool Party ink to make the little bee trail from the Bee My Valentine stamp set and stamped some more Country Bouquet hearts in Petal Pink and Sweet Sorbet. I trimmed the bottom with a strip of Bee Mine DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal

The Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet stamp set and punch is my favorite Valentine’s day set from last year’s catalog (and it’s still available!) and this sweet set goes so well with the pretty Bee Mine Designer series paper. With Valentine’s Day just around the corner and the bitter cold weather, it’s a perfect time to make Valentine’s Day cards and other love themed projects to warm your heart!

Stampin’ Up! Perennial Postage Hugs Card

Good Morning! Here’s a Big Hugs card made with the Stampin’ Up! Perennial Postage bundle and other items from the Perennial Lavender suite. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I used the pretty Sunday Stamps sketch SSC326 – Shape Up In The New Year for today’s card.

I embossed a Highland Heather panel with the Sale-A-Bration Softly Sophisticated 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a Highland Heather card base. I cut a panel of Perennial Lavender designer series paper with the second largest rectangle die from the Stampin’ Up! Perennial Postage dies using a two step method to get a smaller rectangle. I partially cut one side, moved the die and cut the other.

I measured my die cut DSP and cut a Gorgeous Grape mat 1/8″ larger (mine ended up being 2-3/4″ x 3-3/8″, but yours might be different depending on how wide you cut it) and adhered the DSP to the mat. I adhered the layered DSP to the card with dimensionals. I used a Blending Brush to apply Highland Heather ink to a large butterfly cutout – be careful around the antenna.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Perennial Postage stamp set in Berry Burst ink on the right side of a Fresh Freesia panel. I cut it out with the second smallest rectangle postage stamp die and adhhered it to the card with dimensionals and glue dots. I adhered the butterfly on top of the label and DSP with glue dots and finished the card with purple shimmer gems and a Soft Sorbet shimmer bow.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the butterflies from the Painted Lavender stamp set in Highland Heather in the corner of a Basic White panel. I trimmed the bottom with a strip of Perennial Lavender DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Perennial Lavender designer series paper is so pretty and the sentiments from the Stampin’ Up! Perennial Postage bundle are really sweet. And the postage stamp dies are so versatile and un to work with.

Stampin’ Up! Softly Sophisticated Thinking of You Card

Good Morning! I’m using the pretty Stampin’ Up! Softly Sophisticated Sale-A-Bration bundle with the pretty Flight and Airy Sale-A-Bration designer series paper for a simple thinking of you you card today. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I embossed a watercolored strip of Flight and Airy designer series paper with the Stampin’ Up! Softly Sophisticated embossing folder and adhered it to a panel of Flight and Airy designer series paper. I adhered the layered DSP to the front of a Flirty Flamingo card base.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Softly Sophisticated stamp set in Misty Moonlight ink on a Basic White panel and cut it out with the second largest banner die from the Nested Essentials dies. I adhered it to the card front with dimensionals.

I made a bow with linen thread and adhered it to the card with a glue dot and I finished the card with three Flirty Flamingo adhesive dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the stems from the Stampin’ Up! Softly Sophisticated stamp set in Soft Sea Foam in the corner of a basic White panel. I stamped the flowers in Flirty Flamingo and trimmed the bottom with a strip of Flight and Airy DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! The Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine bundle is my favorite Valentine set in the new January – April Mini Catalog. The whimsical bee, flower and heart stamps and wonderful sentiments are so much fun to play with and make Valentine projects. I made a book fold Valentine’s day card and used the stamps with the pretty Bee Mine designer series paper. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a pretty color challenge this week:

I adhered the left hinge of my Pool Party card base closed with liquid glue. I adhered a strip of Bee Mine designer series paper to a Sweet Sorbet mat and adhered it to the hinge. I adhered another panel of Bee Mine DSP to the main section with liquid glue.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped several stems across the bottom in Lemon Lime Twist ink and stamped flowers on top in Pool Party, Sweet Sorbet and Petal Pink. I adhered the panel to a Lemon Lime Twist mat and adhered the panel to the card front.

I stamped the bee from the Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine stamp set in Daffodil Delight and Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Basic White and punched it out with the Bee Builder Punch. I stamped the wings in Pool Party and used Stamped off Pool Party to stamp the large heart over the wings to give them light color. I punched it out and adhered it to the back of the bee. I stamped the antenna and punched it out and adhered it to the back of the bee and adhered the bee to the card with dimensionals. I tied Pool Party ribbon around the hinge and made a knot and added flowers embellishments to the stamped floral panel

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine stamp set in Sweet Sorbet ink on Basic White. I stamped the hearts in Petal Pink, the stems in Lemon Lime Twist and the flowers in Petal Pink and Pool Party. I stamped a bee trail in stamped off Pool Party and adhered the panel to a Bee Mine DSP mat. I adhered the layered panel to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine bundle is so cute and very versatile. And when paired with the Bee Mine designer series paper, it always results in cheerful and cute Valentine projects!

Stampin’ Up! Lovely and Sweet for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good Morning! Welcome to the December Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop! The theme for this month’s hop is “Love” and I used the Stampin’ Up! Lovely and Sweet bundle with the pretty Most Adored Sale-A-Bration specialty designer series paper to make a Petal Pink love card. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

I used a blending brush to apply Petal Pink ink all over a panel of gold floral Most Adored Sale-A-Bration specialty designer series paper and adhered it to a Pebbled Path mat with Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to the front of a Petal Pink card base.

I used the large floral die from the Stampin’ Up! Lovely and Sweet dies to cut a gold foil design from the Nature’s Sweetness specialty DSP – I love when dies cut out DSP images!. I adhered the die cut to the card front with dimensionals. I folded a length of gold ribbon and adhered it to the card with glue dots.

I cut several three sets of flowers from Petal Pink using the dies from the Stampin’ Up! Lovely and Sweet die set. I cut three small stems and three small leaf clusters from Lost Lagoon. I adhered the flowers to the stems and ahdered them to the leaves with liquid glue.

I adhered two of the layered flower die cuts to the card front with liquid glue. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Lovely and Sweet stamp set in Pebbled Path ink on Petal Pink card stock and cut it out with the label die. I adhered it to the card with dimensionals, using a double layer of dimensionals on the bottom. I finished the flowers with iridescent foil gems.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the little grid from the Stampin’ Up! Lovely and Sweet stamp set in stamped-off Pebbled Path ink in the corner of a Basic White panel. I trimmed the bottom with a strip of Most Adored specialty DSP that I colored Petal Pink. I adhered the third flower and stem die cuts to the panel with liquid glue and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Lovely and Sweet bundle has pretty images and wonderful little die cuts that are so versatile. And I love the gold foil designer series papers – they can be colored in to go with any color palette!

Stampin’ Up! Stippled Roses Thank You Card

Good Morning! I’m using the Stampin’ Up! Stippled Roses bundle from the new January-April Mini Catalog and the Softly Stippled Sale-A-Bration designer series paper for a thank you card. I love how the images in this pattern resemble the roses in the stamp set! You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

My card’s design was inspired by the pretty sketch in Global Design Project #426:

I adhered a panel of Calypso Coral rose patterned Softly Stippled designer series paper to a Calypso Coral mat with liquid glue. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Stippled Roses stamp set using Pebbled Path ink on Calypso coral and cut it out with a banner die from the Stylish Shapes dies. I adhered it to the DSP panel with liquid glue and wrapped it with linen thread, making a bow.

I adhered the DSP panel to the front of a Calypso Coral Card base withh dimensionals. I cut a small leaf spray from Garden Green using a die from the Stampin’ Up! Stippled Roses dies and adhered it to the card with glue dots, tucking it under the linen thread and covering the left side of the banner.

I stamped the small rose from the Stampin’ Up! Stippled Roses stamp set in Pebbled Path ink on Basic White and colored it with Watercolor Pencils. I colored the flower all over lightly with the Calypso Coral Pencil. I colored the darker areas again to intensify the color and blend it out into the rest of the petal. I colored the leaves in Garden Green using the same method. I cut the flower out with the coordinating die and popped it on the card with dimensionals.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the small rose from the Stampin’ Up! Stippled Roses stamp set in Pebbled Path ink in the top corner of a Basic White panel. I colored it using Calypso Coral and Garden Green watercolor pencils and trimmed the bottom with a strip of Softly Stippled DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The images and sentiments from the Stampin’ Up! Stippled Roses bundle are just gorgeous and it’s wonderful to have them also in the Sale-A-Bration Softly Stippled DSP! I’ve been pleased at all the different ways to stamp and color the images from the stamp set – it’s pretty versatile!

Stampin’ Up! Wonderful Thoughts Card

Good Morning! I’m using the Stampin’ Up! Wonderful Thoughts bundle from the Annual Catalog to help showcase one of the pretty new Sale-A-Bration items – the Flight & Airy designer series paper. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

My card’s design was inspired by the pretty sketch in Freshly Made Sketches 617 – A Sketch by Narelle:

I embossed a panel of Bubble Bath with the cross hatch design from the Basics Embossing Folders and adhered it to a Misty Moonlight mat. I used the second smallest square from the Stylish Shapes dies to cut three birds from the pretty Flight and Airy Sale-A-Bration designer series paper and adhered them to Misty Moonlight mats. I adhered the birds to the embossed panel with dimensionals.

I stamped the sweet sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Wonderful Thoughts stamp set using Misty Moonlight ink on Basic White. I cut it out with the coordinating die and adhered it to the panel with glue dots.

I wrapped a length of white baker’s twine around the panel twice and tied a bow. I adhered the panel to the front of a Fresh Freesia card base and accented each bird panel with a white matte dot.

I kept the inside simple, adhering a strip of the pretty Flight and Airy DSP to the bottom of a Basic White panel and adhering the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The sentiments from the Stampin’ Up! Wonderful Thoughts stamp set are perfect for expressions of friendship, caring, love and encouragement. And they can be used with lots of designs. The pretty Flight and Airy designer series paper can be used with many of these sentiments – and probably most other stamp sets as well!

Stampin’ Up! Notes of Nature for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! Today iis the big day for the opening of the January-April 2024 Mini Catalog and I’m using the pretty new Stampin’ Up! Notes of Nature bundle with the Nature’s Sweetness specialty designer series paper for a Hello card. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a pretty sketch challenge this week:

I adhered a panel of Pebbled Path grid Nature’s Sweetness specialty designer series paper to the front of a Soft Sea Foam card base with liquid glue. I cut the side of another panel of the DSP with the notebook die and adhered it to the card with liquid glue. The cool thing about this pattern is that the script is written in both directions, so you don’t need to worry about it being upside down!

I stamped the field notes stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Notes of Nature stamp set in Pecan Pie ink on a Pecan Pie panel. I stamped the sprig over the notes and cut it out with the second largest circle from the Stylish Shapes dies. I stamped the leaf cluster three times in Pebbled Path ink on Basic White and colored the leaves with the light Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blend. I stamped the flower twice using Pebbled Path ink on Basic White and colored it with Petal Pink and light Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends. I cut out the leaves and flowers with the coordinating dies.

I adhered two die cut leaf clusters to the die cut circle with glue dots. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Notes Of Nature stamp set in Pebbled Path ink on Soft Sea Foam and used the short fat banner die from the Stylish Shaped dies to cut it out in two steps. I adhered the label to the circle with dimensionals and adhered the decorated circle to the card with dimensionals. I made a loopy bow with linen thread and adhered it to the card with a glue dot and popped one of the die cut flowers over it with dimensionals and a glue dot. I finished the front with Pebbled Path dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the grid from the Stampin’ Up! Notes of Nature stamp set several times using twice stamped off Pebbled Path ink on Basic White.  I adhered the last die cut leaves and flowers together with liquid glue and adhered it to the panel. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Notes of Nature bundle is a wonderful set with pretty images and sentiments and great dies. The Nature’s Sweetness is absolutely gorgeous with the gold foil touches. Both of these products will also work well with other flower and animal stamp sets to fill out your Nature’s Journal.

Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine Fun Fold Card

Good Morning and Happy New Year! I’m starting the year with a Fun Fold Valentine made with the sweet Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine bundle. This is a stamp and punch bundle that is coming out in the new January – April Mini Catalog on Thursday (YAY!!) and my fun fold is a mini accordion tent card that was inspired by Robin Ambrecht . You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I adhered a panel of plaid Bee Mine designer series paper to the front of a Sweet Sorbet card base with liquid glue. I adhered a Sweet Sorbet panel to the center with liquid glue to serve as a mat for my accordion and mini tent.

I scored and folded a floral panel of Bee Mine DSP and adhered the large panel to the Sweet Sorbet Mat. I adhered the last two panels of DSP to the Balmy Blue mini tent card and applied liquid glue to the edges of the mini tent card. I carefully lined up the tent to the accordion and pressed to adhere the glue. I opened and closed the accordion to make sure the mini card tent and accordion lined up both when the card was open and closed.

I stamped the bee from the Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine stamp set in Daffodil Delight and the stripes and face in Memento Tuxedo Black on Basic White and punched it out. I stamped the wings in Petal Pink and punched it out with the large heart punch and colored the wings with light Petal Pink Stampin’ Blend. I stamped the antenna in Memento Tuxedo Black and punched them out with the small heart and adhered the bee with liquid glue. i popped the bee onto the mini card with dimensionals. I stamped the love you sentiment in Sweet Sorbet on Petal Pink and punched it out with the large heart. I adhered it to the card with glue dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine stamp set in Sweet Sorbet on Basic White. I stamped the flower in Petal Pink and the stem in Lemon Lime Twist and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with liquid glue. I closed the card to make sure the inside panel is covered when the card is closed – good thing liquid glue gives you wiggle room to move things a bit if needed!

The Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine bundle and Bee Mine designer series paper are so cute and cheerful and I’m thrilled that they’ll finally be available to everyone later this week! Here’s the stamp set and punch:

Cute bees, hearts, flowers and honey are a perfect way to start getting ready for Valentine’s Day.
