Stampin’ Up! Choose Happy for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good Morning! Welcome to the August Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop! The theme for this month’s hop is “Fall Frenzy” and I used the Stampin’ Up! Choose Happy stamp set with the pretty Splendid Autumn 6″ x 6″ designer series paper for a Fall card. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

Emboss a panel of Splendid Autumn 6″ x 6″ designer series paper with the distressed brick 3D embossing folder and sponge it lightly with Pecan Pie ink. Adhere it to an Early Espresso mat and wrap a Timid Tiger ribbon around it, tying a knot at the side. Adhere it to an Early Espresso card base with dimensionals.

Cut two panels of Splendid Autumn 6″ x 6″ DSP with the Everyday Arches dies. Stamp the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Choose Happy stamp set on the Fall tree arch die cut with Early Espresso ink and adhere it to the the larger arch die cut mat.

Use the Mini Alphabet dies to cut the letters F-A-L-L from Early Espresso card stock and Splendid Autumn DSP. Adhere each DSP letter to the card stock letter with liquid glue, slightly offset.

Adhere the layered letters to the Fall tree arch die cut and pop the layered arches on the card front with dimensionals. Finish with a gold druzy dot.

Stamp the sentiments from the Stampin’ Up! Choose Happy stamp set using Early Espresso ink on the bottom of a Basic White panel. Cut the ampersand from a DSP panel using the Mini Alphabet dies and adhere it between the words. Trim the bottom with a sponged and embossed DSP strip and adhere the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Choose Happy stamp set has nice sentiments for different occasions and it goes well with theMini Alphabet dies. But the Everyday Arches dies are the real star of this card, transforming a pretty Splendid Autumn DSP image into something special.

Stampin’ Up! Sparkling Snowflakes Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! The Stampin’ Up! Sparkling Snowflakes stamp set has the prettiest, most detailed snowflake images and I used it with the Snowflake Sly 3D embossing folder to make a snowy background for today’s card. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a theme challenge this week:

I stamped the snowflakes from the Stampin’ Up! Sparkling Snowflakes stamp set using Night of Navy, Balmy Blue and Pool Party inks all over a Basic White panel. I embossed the panel with the Snowflake Sky 3D embossing folder and adhered it to a Night of Navy mat.

I wrapped the layered panel with the retired Starry Sky metallic ribbon and made a bow. This pretty ribbon is on the Last Chance Products list at a wonderful discount and the metallic shine goes perfect with the sparkle theme for my card. I adhered the wrapped panel to the front of a Balmy Blue card base with liquid glue. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Sparkling Snowflakes stamp set using Night of Navy Ink on Pool Party card stock. I cut it out with the Autumn Leaves label die and adhered it to the card with dimensionals.

I cut the large snowflake from the One of A Kind dies and three of the small snowflakes from the Snowy Wonder dies using white glimmer paper. I adhered a small die cut snowflake to the label and two more to the front background with liquid glue. I finished the die cut snowflakes with rhinestone gems.

For the inside panel, I stamped the snowflakes from the Stampin’ Up! Sparkling Snowflakes stamp set using Night of Navy, Balmy Blue and Pool Party inks. I embossed the panel with the Snowflake Sky 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the bottom of a Basic White panel. I adhered the last little die cut snowflake to the corner and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

In addition to the pretty snowflakes, the Stampin’ Up! Sparkling Snowflakes stamp set has pretty sentiments that go well with any snowflake set to bring heartwarming cheer to cold snowy days. Stay warm!

Stampin’ Up! Seaside Wishes with Splendid Autumn for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! I used some of the pretty sentiments from the Stampin’ Up! Seaside Wishes stamp set with the beautiful Splendid Autumn 6″ x 6″ designer series paper for a Fall love card. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a pretty sketch challenge this week. I wanted to show as much of the pretty sunset as I could, so I took the liberty to shrink the square:

I adhered a pretty sunset landscape panel of Splendid Autumn 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to the front of a Cajun Craze card base with liquid glue.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Seaside Wishes stamp set using Cajun Craze ink on the right side of a Basic Beige panel. I cut the sentiment with the rectangular Nested Essentials die and adhered it to the card with dimensionals.

I used the long greenery die from the Textured Florals dies to cut a Copper foil panel and a Mossy Meadow panel. I adhered the leafy die cuts together with glue dots and adhered them to the card with dimensionals and glue dots. I finished the card with a Copper Clay Linen thread bow and Faux Glass dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Seaside Wishes stamp set stamp set using Mossy Meadow ink ink on a Basic Beige panel. I stamped the rocks from the Stampin’ Up! Seaside Wishes stamp set in Gray Granite and the dots in Basic Beige. I trimmed the side with DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Splendid Autumn 6″ x 6″ designer series paper has such beautiful landscapes that are great for making easy and simple cards. And the Stampin’ Up! Seaside Wishes stamp set gave me the perfect sentiments to express love and appreciation of the beauty of nature.

Stampin’ Up! Grassy Grove for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! The Stampin’ Up! Grassy Grove stamp set and Grove dies are a wonderful set for creating natural outdoors scenes and dioramas. I used it with the pretty new Thoughtful Journey 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to make a thank you card and it was pretty simple to do. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a theme challenge this week and the Stampin’ Up! Grassy Grove stamps set and Grove dies were perfect!

I adhered a panel of Thoughtful Journey to the front of a Pretty Peacock card base with liquid glue. I cut an old Olive panel with the large tree frame die from the Grove dies. I felt it was kind of plain, so I used a sponge dauber to add some ink. I used Mossy Meadow on the tree trunks and Pretty Peacock on the leafy canopy and ground cover. I finished with Wild Wheat around the edge of the frame.

I adhered the frame to the card front with dimensionals. I cut the doe and fawn from Pecan Pie card stock using the Grove dies and adhered them to the card with glue dots, tucking them under the frame ground cover.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Grassy Grove stamp set using Versamark ink on a Pretty Peacock panel. I sprinkled it with gold embossing powder and shook off the excess and heated it with my heat tool until it was bright and shiny. I cut it out with the label die from the Unbounded Love dies using a two step method, so it was a little shorter. I adhered it to the card with dimensionals and finished it with a small green Blooming Pearl.

I left the inside of the card blank, and simply trimmed the side of a Basic White panel with Thoughtful Journey DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The natural scenes in the Thoughtful Journey designer series paper go perfect with nature frame dies like the one in the Grove dies. And it saves time, because you don’t need to create a background scene for the frame. Just pop on some cute die cut deer!

Stampin’ Up! Feathered Flight for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good Morning! Welcome to the May Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop! The theme for this month’s hop is “For the Boys/Men” so I pulled out my Feathered Flight stamp set to make a simple, masculine thinking of you card. The beautiful Thoughtful Journey 6″ x 6″ designer series paper makes a wonderful background for the ducks in the stamp set. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

I stamped the small flying ducks from the Stampin’ Up! Feathered Flight cling stamp set using Wild Wheat ink on a panel of Thoughtful Journey designer series paper. I adhered the stamped DSP to a Misty Moonlight mat using liquid glue.

I separated a length of Wild Wheat jute and wrapped a single strand around the DSP panel and tied a knot. I adhered the panel to the front of a Boho Blue card base with dimensionals.

I cut two pine sprigs from the Encircled In Nature dies and adhered them to the card with glue dots, tucking them under the jute.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Feathered Flight stamp set using Wild Wheat ink on a Boho Blue panel. I cut out the sentiment with the Deckled Rectangles dies using a two step method, lining up one corner and cutting two sides and then cutting the opposite corner and the remaining sides. I adhered the label to the card using dimensionals over the jute and die cut sprigs.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Feathered Flight stamp set in Wild Wheat ink on a Basic White panel. I used twice stamped off Misty Moonlight ink to stamp the large duck and trimmed the side with DSP. I adhered the panel to a Misty Moonlight mat and then to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Thoughtful Journey 6″ x 6″ designer series paper is so beautiful and I love how it looks with the flying ducks from the Stampin’ Up! Feathered Flight stamp set. A quiet, beautiful morning in the woods with a loved one!

Stampin’ Up! Enduring Beauty for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! The Stampin’ Up! Enduring Beauty bundle is a beautiful bundle with a large floral bouquet and pretty sentiments. The dies cut out the flowers and have complimentary bud and leaf dies and includes a pretty label. And it also includes a set of masks that you can use to color the flowers! You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a pretty sketch challenge this week:

I adhered a panel of striped Lemon Lolly Lighter than Air 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to a Basic White mat and popped it on the front of a Lemon Lolly card base.

I stamped the large bouquet from the Stampin’ Up! Enduring Beauty stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a Basic White panel. I colored the flowers with the light Lemon Lolly Stampin’ Blend and the Leaves with the light Lost Lagoon Stampin’ Blend and cut it out with the coordinating die. I used my paper trimmer to cut the bouquet in half and trimmed off a small corner of each piece. I adhered the panels to the corners of my card using dimensionals, aligning the corners with the DSP.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Enduring Beauty stamp set using Versamark ink on a Lemon Lolly panel. I sprinkled it with silver embossing powder and shook off the excess. I heated the powder with my heat tool until it was bright and shiny. I cut out the label with the label die and adhered it with dimensionals and glue dots. I cut out some leaves from Lost Lagoon and flower buds from Lemon Lolly using the Stampin’ Up! Enduring Beauty dies. I tucked the flowers and leaves under the bouquet, adhering them with liquid glue. I finished the card with a Lemon Lolly bow and clear rhinestone gems.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the large flower bouquet from the Stampin’ Up! Enduring Beauty stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink in the corners of a Basic White panel. I colored the flowers using the light Lemon Lolly Stampin’ Blend and the leaves using the light Lost Lagoon Stampin’ Blend. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The pretty line images in the Stampin’ Up! Enduring Beauty bundle can be colored in so many ways. I was pleased that it made such pretty corners to fit with today’s card sketch, but next time, I need to use the pretty bouquet in the center of my card.

Stampin’ Up! Notes Of Nature for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! The Stampin’ Up! Notes Of Nature bundle is a pretty botanical stamp set and I used it with the pretty Nature’s Sweetness specialty designer series paper for today’s card. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a color challenge this week and I added some Granny Apple Green:

I embossed a panel of Pebbled Path card stock with the retiring Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder and adhered it to a Pebbled Path card base. I adhered a smaller panel of Nature’s Sweetness DSP to the card with liquid glue.

I stamped the leaf sprig from the Stampin’ Up! Notes of Nature stamp set in Pebbled Path ink on Basic White and colored it with the light Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blend. I cut it out with the coordinating die and adhered it to the card with glue dots. I used the Lovely & Sweet dies to cut the small leaves and flowers from Granny Apple Green, Pecan Pie and Distressed Gold. I adhered the die cuts to the card with glue dots and finished the flowers with gold Festive Pearls.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Notes Of Nature Stamp set in Pebbled Path ink on Basic White and cut it out with a banner die from the Stylish Shapes dies. I needed some more Pecan Pie on my card for the Hop color challenge, so I folded a length of Pecan Pie ribbon and adhered it to the card with glue dots and popped the label on top with dimensionals.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the leaves form the Stampin’ Up! Notes Of Nature stamp set using Pebbled Path ink in the corners of a Basic White panel. I colored the leaves with the light Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blend and trimmed the bottom with a strip of DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Notes Of Nature bundle is such a pretty botanical set with wonderful sentiments and great dies.

Stampin’ Up! Inspirational Sketches Enjoy The Journey Card

Good morning! The Stampin’ Up! Inspirational Sketches cling stamp set has sweet nature images and pretty sentiments. I used the mushrooms with the Notes of Nature dies and Poetic Expressions designer series paper for today’s card. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I cut a panel of Poetic Expressions DSP with the binder ring die from the Notes of Nature dies and adhered it to the front of a Pecan Pie card base. I adhered a floral panel of the DSP on top with liquid glue.

I stamped the mushrooms from the Stampin’ Up! Inspirational Sketches stamp set in Pecan Pie ink on Basic White and adhered it to the card. The images are pretty without coloring, but I’m sure that they will also be fantastic colored using any coloring tools. I cut a Mossy Meadow strip with the large leaf from the Notes Of Nature dies and the small leaf cluster from Lost Lagoon. I adhered the die cut leaves to the card with glue dots.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Inspirational Sketches stamp set using Pecan Pie ink on Basic White. I trimmed the ends of the label and popped it on the card with dimensionals. I tied a knot in a short length of Pecan Pie ribbon and adhered it to the card with a glue dot. I finished with rustic metallic dots.

For the inside of the card, I inked up the mushroom stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Inspirational Sketches stamp set using Pecan Pie ink and stamped it off three times before stamping it on a Basic White panel. I trimmed the bottom with DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Inspirational Sketches stamp set goes well with the Notes of Nature bundle and the Poetic Expressions designer series paper. The rustic, natural looks of these items compliment each other well. I love it when you can mix and match items from different Product Suites to make pretty cards!

Stampin’ Up! Notes of Nature for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! Today iis the big day for the opening of the January-April 2024 Mini Catalog and I’m using the pretty new Stampin’ Up! Notes of Nature bundle with the Nature’s Sweetness specialty designer series paper for a Hello card. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a pretty sketch challenge this week:

I adhered a panel of Pebbled Path grid Nature’s Sweetness specialty designer series paper to the front of a Soft Sea Foam card base with liquid glue. I cut the side of another panel of the DSP with the notebook die and adhered it to the card with liquid glue. The cool thing about this pattern is that the script is written in both directions, so you don’t need to worry about it being upside down!

I stamped the field notes stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Notes of Nature stamp set in Pecan Pie ink on a Pecan Pie panel. I stamped the sprig over the notes and cut it out with the second largest circle from the Stylish Shapes dies. I stamped the leaf cluster three times in Pebbled Path ink on Basic White and colored the leaves with the light Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blend. I stamped the flower twice using Pebbled Path ink on Basic White and colored it with Petal Pink and light Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends. I cut out the leaves and flowers with the coordinating dies.

I adhered two die cut leaf clusters to the die cut circle with glue dots. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Notes Of Nature stamp set in Pebbled Path ink on Soft Sea Foam and used the short fat banner die from the Stylish Shaped dies to cut it out in two steps. I adhered the label to the circle with dimensionals and adhered the decorated circle to the card with dimensionals. I made a loopy bow with linen thread and adhered it to the card with a glue dot and popped one of the die cut flowers over it with dimensionals and a glue dot. I finished the front with Pebbled Path dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the grid from the Stampin’ Up! Notes of Nature stamp set several times using twice stamped off Pebbled Path ink on Basic White.  I adhered the last die cut leaves and flowers together with liquid glue and adhered it to the panel. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Notes of Nature bundle is a wonderful set with pretty images and sentiments and great dies. The Nature’s Sweetness is absolutely gorgeous with the gold foil touches. Both of these products will also work well with other flower and animal stamp sets to fill out your Nature’s Journal.

Stampin’ Up! Seaside Bay Thank You Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! The Stampin’ Up! Seaside Bay bundle is a beautiful nautical set with both undersea and shore images and dies. I used the crab and shells to make an undersea thank you card. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a sketch challenge this week:

I adhered a panel of wood grained By The Sea 6″ x 6″ specialty designer series paper to the front of a Sahara Sand card base. I cut a panel of By The Sea 6″ x 6″ specialty designer series paper with the fourth largest Stitched Rectangles dies. I stamped the fishes from the Sea Turtle photopolymer stamp set in Versamark ink o the die cut DSP and sprinkled it with gold embossing powder. I shook off the excess and heated the powder with my heat tool until it was bright and shiny.

I stamped the sand and sand and shell stamps from the Stampin’ Up! Seaside Bay cling stamp set in Sahara Sand ink across a Sahara Sand strip. I cut the top using the sand die from the Stampin’ Up! Seaside Bay dies and cut the bottom with the fourth largest Stitched Rectangle die. I adhered the die cut sand to the bottom of the DSP die cut rectangle with liquid glue and adhered the layered panel to a Soft Suede mat.

I cut three sea grasses (two short and one long) from the Stampin’ Up! Seaside Bay dies from Mint Macaron and adhered them to the undersea panel with glue dots. I stamped the three small sea shells in Sahara Sand ink on Petal Pink and cut them out with the coordinating die. I adhered them to the panel with glue dots. I stamped the crab in Night of Navy ink on Basic White and cut it out with the coordinating die. I colored it with a light Pool Party Stampin’ Blend and adhered it to the panel with glue dots. I cut a pair of small shells from Distressed Gold paper and adhered them to the panel with glue dots.

I stamped the sentiment (inking up only the thank you part of the stamp) from the Stampin’ Up! Seaside Bay stamp set in Versamark ink on Balmy Blue and sprinkled it with gold embossing powder. I shook off the excess powder and heated the sentiment with my heat tool until it was bright and shiny. I cut it out with the small skinny stitched rectangle die. I looped Linen Thread twice around the end and tied a knot and adhered the label to the panel with dimensionals. I adhered the panel to the card front with dimensionals and finished it with flat pearls.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the crab from the Stampin’ Up! Seaside Bay stamp set in Night of Navy ink on a Basic White panel. I colored it with the light Pool Party Stampin’ Blend and stamped the bottom with the seashell and sand and sand stamps using Sahara Sand ink. I colored the shells with the dark Petal Pink Stampin’ Blend and adhered the die cut Mint Macaron sea grass and Distress Gold seashells to the bottom. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Seaside Bay bundle goes great with the By the Bay specialty DSP and other ocean themed stamp supplies. And the sentiments are wonderful!
