Stampin’ Up! Happy Labels Card

Good Morning! I CASE’d the Jan-Apr Mini Catalog and used the Stampin’ Up! Happy Labels bundle to make a friendship card. I was struck by the unique design of this pretty card along with the wonderful sentiments, so I just needed to copy it. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

The original card was a square card, but I wanted to make it a standard A2 size and I wanted to leave a small Fresh Freesia border around the front, so I adhered a panel of Fresh Freesia Butterfly Kisses 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to the front of a Fresh Freesia card base. I stamped the pretty floral image from the Hand Penned Petals stamp set in Sahara Sand ink on a Sahara Sand panel. I cut the panel twice horizontally into 1″ strips and trimmed the right sides with the scallops side of the Stampin’ Up! Happy Labels Pick A Punch. I distressed the edges of the strips with Sahara Sand ink using a sponge dauber and adhered them to the card front with liquid glue, leaving a thin space between the strips.

I punched a strip of Petal Pink Country Gingham 6″ x 6″ designer series paper with the ticket side of the Stampin’ Up! Happy Labels Pick A Punch and tied a linen thread bow around the other end. I adhered the DSP strip to the card front with dimensionals. I used the flower dies from the Pretty Pillowbox dies to cut flowers from Fresh Freesia, Flirty Flamingo and Petal Pink. I adhered the small flowers to the large flowers with glue dots and topped each with a gold Pastel Sequin.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Happy Labels stamp set in Versamark ink on Vellum. I sprinkled it with white embossing powder and shook off the excess. I heated it with my heat tool until it was bright and shiny and cut it out with the label die from the Something Fancy dies. I adhered the label to the card front with a little Stampin’ Seal applied behind the lettering. I adhered the flowers around the label using glue dots and dimensionals.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the flowers from the Hand Penned Petals stamp set using stamped off Sahara Sand ink in the corners of a Basic White panel. I stamped the sweet sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Happy Labels stamp set in Fresh Freesia ink and adhered a strip of Butterfly Kisses DSP to the bottom before adhering the panel to the inside of the card with Stamping’ Seal.

You can pick up the Happy Labels stamp set in both cling and photopolymer, whichever you prefer. That goes for both the stamp set and the bundle, so check your item numbers and descriptions carefully to get your favorite.

I love the technique of cutting the stamped panel into 1″ strips so that it fits in the Stampin’ Up! Happy Labels Pick A Punch! And I love the sentiments in the stamp set – you can get it in either cling or photopolymer. The little flowers from the Pillowbox dies are so sweet and I love how they are arranged with the vellum! The Stampin’ Up! catalogs have so many different ideas, so check them out when you need inspiration!

Stampin’ Up! Two-Tone Flora for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! Here’s a country bouquet love you card made with the pretty Stampin’ Up! Two Tone Flora bundle and the Country Gingham 6″ x 6″ designer series paper. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a sketch challenge in the Blog Hop and here is the pretty card sketch we are using this week:

I adhered a panel of Mint Macaron Country Gingham 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to a Basic White panel and popped the layered panel on the front of a Mint Macaron card base with dimensionals. I stamped the flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Two-Tone Flora photopolymer stamp set using the two-step stamping method by stamping the detailed stamp first in full strength ink and the background stamp next in stamped off ink. I stamped the large rose using Sweet Sorbet ink, the small rose using Pale Papaya ink and the small flower cluster using Balmy Blue ink. I also stamped a second large rose for the inside of the card and cut them all out with the coordinating dies.

I stamped three leaf sprigs from the Stampin’ Up! Two-Tone Flora stamp set in stamped off Shaded Spruce and cut them out with the coordinating die (I saved one for the inside). I stamped the sentiments from the Sentimental Park photopolymer stamp set in Mint Macaron on Basic White and cut it out with the pretty label die from the Potted Succulents dies. I arranged the die cuts on the card front and adhered the label and leaves with glue dots. I adhered the small rose with glue dots and the large rose with dimensionals. I colored the large rose with Wink of Stella to give it some sparkle.

Before adhering the small flower clusters, I made a triple bow with Sweet Sorbet baker’s twine and adhered it to the card with a glue dot. I adhered the small flower cluster with dimensionals and finished the card with several adhesive translucent pearl hearts.

For the inside of the card, I adhered the strip of Country Gingham 6″ x 6″ DSP to the bottom of a Basic White panel. I adhered the leaf sprig and large rose with liquid glue and trimmed the overhang with paper snips before adhering the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The flowers in the Stampin’ Up! Two-Tone Flora bundle are really pretty and come out so well using the two step stamping method. I love that there are coordinating dies to cut them out and the background floral die is the best ever. It’s definitely one of my favorites!

Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet Valentine’s Day Card

Good Morning! I love the Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet stamp set along with the Country Floral Lane designer series paper, so I had to pull them out again for another Valentine’s Day card. Here is a simple card made with the pretty bicycle pattern in the Country Floral Lane DSP pack. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered a strip of Balmy Blue Country Floral Lane designer series paper to a bicycle panel of Country Floral Lane DSP with Liquid Glue. I adhered the layered DSP to the front of a Balmy Blue card base with liquid glue. I wrapped a length of Sweet Sorbet baker’s twine around the card front and tied a bow.

I stamped the large heart from the double heart stamp in the Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet photopolymer stamp set in Petal Pink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the sentiment over the heart in Mossy Meadow ink and cut it out with the third largest circle die in the Stylish Shapes dies.

I cut a scalloped circle from Sweet Sorbet using the fourth largest scalloped circle die in the Layering Circles dies and adhered it to the back of the stamped circle with liquid glue. I adhered it to the card front with dimensionals and finished it with three pearl hearts.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet stamp set in Sweet Sorbet on a Basic White panel. I stamped the open double heart next to the sentiment in Balmy Blue ink and trimmed the bottom with a strip of Country Floral Lane DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

I love the Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet stamp set because of the beautiful hearts and wonderful sentiments and the sweet Country Floral Lane designer series paper. While it’s perfect for Valentine’s day, it’s also great for any spring time occasion celebrating love!

Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet Valentine Card

Good Morning! I just love the hearts in the Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet bundle and the beautiful Country Floral Lane designer series paper. These are my favorite Valentine’s day items in a long time. And I had to pull them out for another Valentine’s day card, this time for a fun fold! You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered a panel of Country Floral Lane designer series paper to the front of a Sweet Sorbet card base. The card base is 1″ shorter in the front than the back, so I adhered another strip to the inside of the back panel. I adhered another large floral pattern panel to a Sweet Sorbet mat and adhered it to the front panel with dimensionals and let it extend a little below the card front.

I punched a Sweet Sorbet Heart and a pair of Mossy Meadow leaves from another sheet of Country Floral Lane DSP. I punched three additional large hearts from Basic White card stock and adhered them together with liquid glue and topped them with the DSP heart. This gave me a nice thick heart for the card front! I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet stamp set in Sweet Sorbet on a small strip of Basic White. I trimmed the end to make a flag and adhered it to the card front with liquid glue.

I adhered the punched DSP leaves to the card front with liquid and then adhered the layered heart over the leaves and label. I wrapped the card with Sweet Sorbet baker’s twine and made a bow and finished with three gold adhesive sequins.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet stamp set in Sweet Sorbet on Basic White and stamped the solid tiny hearts in Petal Pink ink. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card above the Country Floral Lane DSP.

A really simple card made with the pretty papers from the Country Floral Lane designer series paper with a little help from the Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet stamp set. It really makes it easy to get ready for Valentine’s day!

Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet Valentine’s Day Card

Good Morning! Today I have another sneak peek of the pretty Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet bundle from the upcoming January-April 2023 Mini Catalog that will be available on January 5, 2023. This sweet bundle is part of the Country Floral Lane suite and has so many wonderful Valentine’s Day and Love themed images, sentiments and embellishments. My card today is a Valentine’s Day card for a friend. You can find the currently available supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered a Sweet Sorbet heart designed panel of Country Floral Lane designer series paper to a Basic White mat and adhered it to the front of a Sweet Sorbet card base with dimensionals. I stamped the large hearts and flowers stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet photopolymer stamp set in Sweet Sorbet ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the coordinating leaves stamp in Soft Succulent on top of the flowers and hearts. I found that this was easy to line up. I fussy cut the heart with my paper snips and adhered it to the card front with glue dots.

I stamped the striped heart in Sweet Sorbet on Basic White and cut it out with the Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet punch. I adhered it to the large heart with glue dots. I stamped two of the small solid hearts in Sweet Sorbet ink on Basic White, punched them out and adhered them to the card with glue dots.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet stamp set in Sweet Sorbet on a Basic White strip. I trimmed the end with my paper snips and adhered it to the card with dimensionals. I made a double bow with Sweet Sorbet baker’s twine and adhered it with a glue dot and finished the card with lots of iridescent gems.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet stamp set in Sweet Sorbet on a Basic White panel. I stamped the double solid mini hearts in Sweet Sorbet next to the sentiment and the little sprig in Soft Succulent under the hears. I trimmed the side of the panel with a strip of Country Floral Lane DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

Hearts and flowers say Valentine’s Day and I love the ones in the Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet bundle! Here is my card with the bundle and the Country Floral Lane DSP. I love that the punch cuts out so many of the stamps and the DSP too!

Here are the pretty designs in the Country Floral Lane designer series paper pack:

All these pretty items will be available on January 5, 2023, just in time to get ready for Valentine’s Day!

Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet Sneak Peek with Video Tutorial

Good Morning! One of the pretty Valentine bundles in the upcoming January – April 2023 Mini Catalog is the Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet bundle. This bundle has a pretty two step photopolymer stamp set with a wonderful coordinating punch and I used it to make a Valentine during my Facebook Live yesterday afternoon. This bundle along with other items in the Country Floral Lane Suite will be available on January 5, 2023 when the January – April 2023 Mini Catalog goes live. You can find the currently available supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

You can watch my FB Live video on my Facebook page HERE. I also posted the video to my YouTube Channel and you can view it HERE.

I cut a panel of the new Country Gingham 6″ x 6″ designer series paper with the 4th largest Stitched Rectangle die and adhered it to a Sweet Sorbet mat with liquid glue. I used the Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet punch to punch the two hearts and leaves from sheet of Country Floral Lane designer series paper. I punched another large heart from Basic White and adhere it to the back of the Sweet Sorbet heart punched from the DSP. I adhered the leaves to the bottom of the large heart and the small heart on top using glue dots.

I folded a length of Burlap stitched ribbon (available January 5) and adhered it to the stitched rectangle with glue dots. I drew a stem with my Mint Macaron Stampin’ Write marker and fussy cut it with my paper snips. I adhered it to the stitched rectangle and ribbon with liquid glue. I adhered the punched heart ‘flower’ on the stem with glue dots and dimensionals. I adhered the layered stitched rectangle to the front of a Crumb Cake card base with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet stamp set in Sweet Sorbet ink on a strip of Basic White and cut it out with the small long skinny stitched rectangle die. I adhered it to the card with glue dots and dimensionals and finished the card with Fine Sparkle gems.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the large heart from the Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet stamp set in Sweet Sorbet ink in the top corner of a Basic White panel. I stamped the leaf in Mink Macaron and stamped the sentiment in Crumb Cake. I stamped the little heart in Petal Pink (don’t forget to clean off the Sweet Sorbet ink first) next to the sentiment and trimmed the bottom in Country Gingham 6″ x 6″ DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

I love that the Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet Punch cuts out some of the images in the Country Floral Lane DSP! And I love the asymmetric, casual design of the hearts. It’s very refreshing and fun! Here’s a picture of the bundle with my card and the two packs of DSP that are in the new Suite.

There are so many pretty sentiments in the bundle and I love the two step large floral heart image where you can stamp flowers in one color and stamp the leaves in another. The suite also has another bundle (which I didn’t get yet) with more flowers and Love themed layered word dies – I love word dies!! That’s next on my shopping list!!

Stampin’ Up! Rustic Harvest Card with Video Tutorial

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Rustic Harvest designer series paper is a really pretty and versatile Fall themed paper and I’ve recently seen cards featuring the designs colored with blends! Coloring DSP is always fun and I decided to use this technique for today’s card. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

You can watch my Facebook live from yesterday afternoon HERE. I have also posted it to my YouTube Channel and you can view it HERE.

I adhered a panel of Crushed Curry Stampin’ Up! Rustic Harvest designer series paper to the front of a Crushed Curry Card base with liquid glue. I cut a Mossy Meadow panel of the DSP with the third largest stitched rectangle die and adhered it to the card front on an angle.

I colored the veggie panel of the Stampin’ Up! Rustic Harvest DSP with Stampin’ Blends – light Daffodil Delight on the Crushed Curry squashes, light Soft Suede on the acorns and stems, light Old Olive on the Mossy Meadow squashes and oak leaves, light Pumpkin Pie on the Cajun Craze pumpkins and light Fresh Freesia on the Merry Merlot leaves. I cut the panel with the 4th largest Stitched Rectangle die and adhered it to the card front on the opposite angle with liquid glue.

I wrapped the card with black and white gingham ribbon and made a bow. I stamped the sentiment from the Ringed with Nature photopolymer stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Crushed Curry and cut it out with the small Stitched Rectangle die. I adhered it to the card with dimensionals and finished it with a black matte dot.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the squiggly from the Hello Harvest cling stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink in the corner of a Basic White panel. I colored a strip of Stampin’ Up! Rustic Harvest DSP using Stampin’ Blends like the front panel and adhere it to the bottom of the inside panel before adhering it to the inside of the card.

Here is the card I made during my video with my sample card. For my sample, I reversed the Stampin’ Up! Rustic Harvest DSPs and used a Mossy Meadow card base with an Old Olive label. I love those pretty veggie images and I love the softer tone that you get by coloring the white. Plus it’s easy and fun.

Stampin’ Up! Wonderful World Love You Card

Good Morning! I used the pretty Stampin’ Up! Wonderful World Sale-A-Bration bundle again to make a love you friendship card. I love the floral papers in this set and I paired it with the new Very Best Occasions sentiment stamp set for today’s card. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered a strip of Stampin’ Up! Wonderful World designer series paper to a Blackberry Bliss mat and adhered it on the side of a floral DSP panel. Then I adhered the layered panel to another Blackberry Bliss mat and adhered it to the front of a Blushing Bride card base with dimensionals.

I used blending brushes to randomly color a basic white panel with Orchid Oasis, Blushing Bride and Pear Pizzazz inks, picking up the background colors in the floral DSP. I stamped the flower from the Stampin’ Up! Wonderful World cling stamp set in Blackberry Bliss over the blended panel. After giving a few minutes to make sure the ink was dry, I embossed the stamped panel with the Painted Texture 3D embossing folder. I adhered the panel to a Blackberry Bliss mat and popped it on the card front with dimensionals.

I stamped the pretty sentiment from the Very Best Occasion stamp set in Blackberry Bliss ink on a Blushing Bride strip and cut it out with the long thin Stylish Shapes die. I cut a strip of Stampin’ Up! Wonderful World designer series paper with the same die and adhered it to the back of the label with glue dots. I adhered the label to the card front with glue dots and dimensionals and finished the card with three iridescent rhinestones.

For the inside of the card, I stamped sentiment from the Very Best Occasions stamp set in Blackberry Bliss ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the leaf from the Stampin’ Up! Wonderful World stamp set under the sentiment in Pear Pizzazz ink and trimmed the bottom with a strip of DSP before adhering the panel to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Wonderful World bundle is a pretty floral cling stamp set with coordinating floral designer series paper that is free with a $100 order (before shipping and taxes) during Sale-A-Bration.
