Stampin’ Up! Peace On Earth Hugs Card

Good Morning! I just received my Stampin’ Up! Peace On Earth bundle yesterday and I was really pleased and surprised with how versatile it is. The Peaceful Garden designer series paper is really beautiful and the bundle’s sentiments are perfect for Christmas, but also great for other occasions, including sympathy cards. I decided to pair the pretty floral DSP with the hugs sentiment to make a simple friendship card. You can find the card stock cuts along with supplies at the bottom of my post.

Adhere a floral panel of the Peaceful Garden designer series paper to a Secret Sea mat with liquid glue. Wrap two bands of Misty Moonlight ribbon around the left side, securing in the back with Stampin’ Seal. Double check the alignment and secure the ribbon ends with scotch tape. Adhere the panel to the front of a Misty Moonlight with dimensionals.

Cut a Secret Sea panel with the third largest Spotlight on Nature die. Stamp the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Peace On Earth stamp set on Basic White using Misty Moonlight ink. Punch the sentiment out using the 2-3/8″ circle punch and adhere it to the Secret Sea die cut circle.

Adhere the label to the card with dimensionals. Finish with a silver druzy dot. I wanted to use the pretty new Hues of Blues flowers, but I felt the druzy would pick up on the silver edging in the ribbon.

I left the inside plain, trimming the bottom of a Basic White panel with DSP before adhering it to the inside of the card. This leaves plenty of room for a personal message.

This was so quick and easy! But I love this sentiment and I love this paper and the blues are a nice break from the Fall colors.

Thanks so much for stopping by and Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Regal Flora Hugs Card

Good Morning! I’ve used the pretty Stampin’ Up! Regal Flora bundle with the Regal Winter designer series paper for a simple hugs card You can find the currently available supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

I cut a Petal Pink card stock panel with the large postage die from the Perennial Postage dies and adhered a panel of Regal Winter DSP to the center. I was pleased at how well the the Petal Pink coordinates with the DSP! I popped the layered die cut on the front of a Blackberry Bliss card base with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Regal Flora stamp set using Blackberry Bliss ink on a Very Vanilla panel and cut it out with the pretty label die. I adhered the outer outline die to the card with dots of liquid glue and popped the center on using dimensionals, lining up the bottom right corners.

I made a Blackberry Bliss bow and adhered it to the top right and finished with three Blackberry Bliss foil gems.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sprig from the Stampin’ Up! Regal Flora stamp set using Bubble Bath ink in the corner of a Very Vanilla panel. I used my Blue and Fresh Freesia colored pencils to outline and accent the leaves and dotted the berries on the twigs with the Real Red colored pencil. This tied the sprig colors nicely to the DSP! I trimmed the side with DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Regal Flora bundle is really pretty and the Regal Winter DSP is too. It’s a perfect set for making cards for different occasions during the cold winter months. These products are on the Last Chance list, and are only available while supplies last.

Last Chance Products Now Available!

Retiring products for the current September-December 2024 Mini Catalog are now available in the Last Chance Products category in the Online Store.

Stampin’ Up! is making some changes to their product retirement process. They are introducing a new Last Chance Products category in the Online Store today that will include retiring products from the current 2024 September-December Mini Catalog and Online Exclusives items that are being discontinued. The Last Chance Products category is replacing the current Clearance Rack and will be updated every two months.

Here are the details:

  • Last Chance Products include retiring products from both catalogs and online releases, excluding Paper Pumpkin.
  • Last Chance Products are available while supplies last and will be discontinued when they sell out. Items will be automatically removed from the category and the online store when they are discontinued.
  • Discounts vary and are subject to change. Also, depending on inventory, these products may or may not have discounts.
  • The Last Chance Products category will be updated every other month. Updates happen at the beginning of the month and may include additional products in the category and any adjustments to product discounts.

This change aligns with Stampin’ Up!’s product release strategy of new Online Exclusives every two months and unifies the retirement process for Online Exclusive and Catalog products. The goal is to keep product offerings fresh, trendy and exciting for Stampin’ Up! customers.

Stampin’ Up! Layering Leaves for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! The Stampin’ Up! Layering Leaves stamp set is a pretty returning stamp set with gorgeous sentiments and great leaf and flower images that coordinate with the pretty bough punch. I used them with the wonderful Splendid Autumn 6″ x 6″ designer series paper for a hugs card. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a pretty color challenge this week:

I embossed a panel of Wild Wheat and adhered it to the front of a Wild Wheat card base with liquid glue. I adhered a panel of Splendid Autumn 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to a Mossy Meadow mat and popped it on the card front with dimensionals.

I stamped two leaf clusters from the Stampin’ Up! Layering Leaves stamp set using Pecan Pie ink on Cajun Craze and punched them out with the Bough Punch. I stamped three flower clusters using Pecan Pie ink on Cherry Cobbler and punched them out. I adhered the leaf and flower clusters to the card with glue dots. I separated strands of 2023-2025 In Color Jute and tied them together before adhering them to the card with a glue dot.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Layering Leaves stamp set using Mossy Meadow ink on Basic White and cut it out with the medium die from the Something Fancy Dies. I felt it was too stark, so I lightly applied Wild Wheat ink over the top with a Blending Brush, and it was perfect! I popped it on the card with dimensionals and finished the card with Cajun Craze dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the flower and leaf clusters from the Stampin’ Up! Layering Leaves stamp set using Cherry Cobbler and Cajun Craze inks in the corners of a Basic White panel. I ahdered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal..

The Stampin’ Up! Layering Leaves stamp set is a simple and wonderful set that is so versatile! The sentiments are just gorgeous and I love that it coordinates with the Bough Punch!

Stampin’ Up! Perennial Postage Hugs Card

Good Morning! Here’s a Big Hugs card made with the Stampin’ Up! Perennial Postage bundle and other items from the Perennial Lavender suite. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I used the pretty Sunday Stamps sketch SSC326 – Shape Up In The New Year for today’s card.

I embossed a Highland Heather panel with the Sale-A-Bration Softly Sophisticated 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a Highland Heather card base. I cut a panel of Perennial Lavender designer series paper with the second largest rectangle die from the Stampin’ Up! Perennial Postage dies using a two step method to get a smaller rectangle. I partially cut one side, moved the die and cut the other.

I measured my die cut DSP and cut a Gorgeous Grape mat 1/8″ larger (mine ended up being 2-3/4″ x 3-3/8″, but yours might be different depending on how wide you cut it) and adhered the DSP to the mat. I adhered the layered DSP to the card with dimensionals. I used a Blending Brush to apply Highland Heather ink to a large butterfly cutout – be careful around the antenna.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Perennial Postage stamp set in Berry Burst ink on the right side of a Fresh Freesia panel. I cut it out with the second smallest rectangle postage stamp die and adhhered it to the card with dimensionals and glue dots. I adhered the butterfly on top of the label and DSP with glue dots and finished the card with purple shimmer gems and a Soft Sorbet shimmer bow.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the butterflies from the Painted Lavender stamp set in Highland Heather in the corner of a Basic White panel. I trimmed the bottom with a strip of Perennial Lavender DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Perennial Lavender designer series paper is so pretty and the sentiments from the Stampin’ Up! Perennial Postage bundle are really sweet. And the postage stamp dies are so versatile and un to work with.

Stampin’ Up! Sending Smiles for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! The Stampin’ Up! Sending Smiles photopolymer stamp set and the coordinating Sending dies are a wonderful set for floral cards for any occasion. I used them to make a love and hugs friendship card with the Bright and Beautiful 6″ x 6″ designer series paper for today. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a color challenge this week:

I used liquid glue to adhere a panel of Bright and Beautiful designer series paper to a Blueberry Bushel mat and popped it on the front of an Azure Afternoon card base. I cut another panel of the DSP with the 5th largest Deckled Rectangles die and adhered it to another Blueberry Bushed mat.

I stamped the flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Sending Smiles stamp set in Bubble Bath ink on Basic White and stamped the centers in Lemon Lime Twist. I stamped the large stem and leaves in Pretty Peacock and cut them all out with the coordinating dies. I adhered them to the small panel with glue dots and dimensionals and popped the panel onto the card front with dimensionals. I stamped the small sentiment in Pretty Peacock ink on Lemon Lime Twist and cut it out with the short label die. I popped it on the card front with dimensionals.

I applied adhesive strips behind a strip of Blueberry Bushel and cut the detailed ‘Sending’ word out with the dies. I used another strip of Bright and Beautiful DSP to cut the background work out and adhered the word to the background. I adhered the die cut sentiment to the card with dimensionals and glue dots and finished the card with a Lemon Lime Twist bow and Bubble Bath sequins.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the flower from the Stampin’ Up! Sending Smiles stamp set in Bubble Bath and Lemon Lime Twist in corner of a Basic White panel. I covered it with a mask and stamped the stem and leaves in Pretty Peacock. I adhered the panel to a Blueberry bushel mat before adhering it to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

There are so many sentiments in the Stampin’ Up! Sending Smiles stamp set and the two label dies in the Sending dies are a perfect fit.

Stampin’ Up! Crafting With You Hugs Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Crafting With You bundle is such a fun set for all kinds of crafters! With stamps and dies for all kinds of crafting, you can make so many different cards with crafting themes! I chose the papercrafting theme for my first card using this fun bundle with a paper trimmer, cut and emboss machine and even a finished card! You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I embossed a panel of Lemon Lolly card stock with the cross hatch embossing folder from the Basics 3D embossing folders. I adhered it to the bottom of a Bright and Beautiful designer series paper panel and adhered it to the front of a Lost Lagoon card base. I used the paper trimmer die from the Stampin’ Up! Crafting With You dies to cut a Gray Granite panel for the main trimmer and a small Basic Black panel for the trimmer blade. I slipped a panel of Bright and Beautiful DSP into the trimmer and adhered it with some liquid glue. I adhered the die cut trimmer blade with a glue dot. I cut a panel of Azure Afternoon with the ruler die and adhered the ruler and paper trimmer to the card with glue dots.

I stamped the cut & emboss machine from the Stampin’ Up! Crafting With You stamp set in Smoky Slate ink on Basic White. I colored the gray sections with the light Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blend and cut it out with the coordinating die. I popped it on the card with dimensionals. I cut three 1″ x 1″ panels of Bright and Beautiful DSP and adhered them to the card with liquid glue. For the last panel, I colored the small flower stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Crafting With You stamp set with the Lost Lagoon and Berry Burst Stampin’ Write markers and stamped multiple times, re-inking each time, on a small Basic White panel. I cut out a 1″ x 1″ square and adhered it to the card and cut another one out with the coordinating die.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Crafting With You stamp set in Lost Lagoon ink on a Lost Lagoon panel and trimmed the corners with the Very Best Trio punch. I adhered it to the card with glue dots. I stamped the heart on the inside of the scored Bright and Beautiful DSP mini card and adhered the die cut flower to the front with a glue dot. I adhered the card next to the label with a glue dots and wrapped the card front with linen thread twice and made a bow. I finished by scattering some Lemon Lolly faceted dots around the card.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Crafting With You stamp set in Lost Lagoon on a Basic White panel. I stamped the heart three times in stamped off Berry Burst ink and trimmed the bottom with the Bright and Beautiful DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

I love the Stampin’ Up! Crafting With You bundle since I’ve been crafting since I was a little girl and this bundle captures so many different crafts – sewing, knitting, embroidery, painting and cardmaking. It brings back so many memories of good times!

Stampin’ Up! Happy Labels Card

Good Morning! I CASE’d the Jan-Apr Mini Catalog and used the Stampin’ Up! Happy Labels bundle to make a friendship card. I was struck by the unique design of this pretty card along with the wonderful sentiments, so I just needed to copy it. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

The original card was a square card, but I wanted to make it a standard A2 size and I wanted to leave a small Fresh Freesia border around the front, so I adhered a panel of Fresh Freesia Butterfly Kisses 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to the front of a Fresh Freesia card base. I stamped the pretty floral image from the Hand Penned Petals stamp set in Sahara Sand ink on a Sahara Sand panel. I cut the panel twice horizontally into 1″ strips and trimmed the right sides with the scallops side of the Stampin’ Up! Happy Labels Pick A Punch. I distressed the edges of the strips with Sahara Sand ink using a sponge dauber and adhered them to the card front with liquid glue, leaving a thin space between the strips.

I punched a strip of Petal Pink Country Gingham 6″ x 6″ designer series paper with the ticket side of the Stampin’ Up! Happy Labels Pick A Punch and tied a linen thread bow around the other end. I adhered the DSP strip to the card front with dimensionals. I used the flower dies from the Pretty Pillowbox dies to cut flowers from Fresh Freesia, Flirty Flamingo and Petal Pink. I adhered the small flowers to the large flowers with glue dots and topped each with a gold Pastel Sequin.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Happy Labels stamp set in Versamark ink on Vellum. I sprinkled it with white embossing powder and shook off the excess. I heated it with my heat tool until it was bright and shiny and cut it out with the label die from the Something Fancy dies. I adhered the label to the card front with a little Stampin’ Seal applied behind the lettering. I adhered the flowers around the label using glue dots and dimensionals.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the flowers from the Hand Penned Petals stamp set using stamped off Sahara Sand ink in the corners of a Basic White panel. I stamped the sweet sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Happy Labels stamp set in Fresh Freesia ink and adhered a strip of Butterfly Kisses DSP to the bottom before adhering the panel to the inside of the card with Stamping’ Seal.

You can pick up the Happy Labels stamp set in both cling and photopolymer, whichever you prefer. That goes for both the stamp set and the bundle, so check your item numbers and descriptions carefully to get your favorite.

I love the technique of cutting the stamped panel into 1″ strips so that it fits in the Stampin’ Up! Happy Labels Pick A Punch! And I love the sentiments in the stamp set – you can get it in either cling or photopolymer. The little flowers from the Pillowbox dies are so sweet and I love how they are arranged with the vellum! The Stampin’ Up! catalogs have so many different ideas, so check them out when you need inspiration!

Stampin’ Up! Splendid Thoughts Sending Hugs Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Splendid Thoughts bundle is a beautiful bundle that is retiring soon, and it has been one of my favorites from the July-December 2022 Mini Catalog. I paired it with the beautiful Texture Chic specialty designer series paper for today’s sending hugs card. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered a panel of Texture Chic specialty designer series paper to the front of an Evening Evergreen panel with liquid glue. I embossed a Pool Party panel with the Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder and adhered it to an Evening Evergreen mat. I adhered the layered embossed panel to the card front with liquid glue.

I cut the large fern die from the Forever Flourishing dies from a Soft Succulent and gold panel of Texture Chic DSP and adhered it to the card with dots of liquid glue. I cut the large leaf die from the Stampin’ Up! Splendid Thoughts bundle using Evening Evergreen card stock and adhered it to the card front with glue dots. I used the small die to cut a Sot Succulent panel and adhered it with glue dots. I left some inside pieces in some of the leaves on purpose for added texture.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Splendid Thoughts cling stamp set in Evening Evergreen on Pool Party card stock and cut it out with the bowl die. I adhered a short folded length of Pool Party ribbon (I realized this ribbon is from the upcoming mini catalog and will be available January 5, 2023) and adhered it to the back of the label with glue dots and adhered the label to the card with dimensionals. I finished the card with Pool Party Fine Sparkle gems.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the plant outline from the Stampin’ Up! Splendid Thoughts stamp set in stamped off Soft Succulent ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the solid leaf over it in stamped off Pool Party ink and trimmed the bottom with a strip of Texture chic DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

I stamped the outside of a medium Basic White envelop with the same design as the inside panel. A somber, elegant card for a friend going through a tough spot.

The July–December 2022 Mini Catalog will be retiring soon! It’s always bittersweet to see a classic Stampin’ Up! catalog take a trip to retirement. But, we’re looking forward to all the new products on their way—and we hope you are, too!

Stampin’ Up! Splendid Thoughts for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! I pulled out the beautiful Stampin’ Up! Splendid Thoughts bundle for today’s card because I wanted to try it out in another color palette. And the results are just as beautiful as with the the coordinating specialty DSP. You can find the currently available supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a color challenge this week and here is the pretty color palette we are using:

I embossed a Basic White panel with the Fern 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a Night of Navy card base. I adhered a panel of Sun Prints designer series paper to the cad front with liquid glue and started stamping and cutting my plants.

I stamped the long leaf sprig from the Stampin’ Up! Splendid Thoughts stamp set in Gray Granite on a Basic White panel. I stamped the filler stamp a couple of times over the sprig using stamped off Gray Granite and cut it out with the coordinating die. I cut the long leaf from the light part of a panel of Starry Sky glimmer paper, the round leaf sprig from Pacific Point card stock and the small skinny leaf from Basic White. I arranged and adhered the die cuts to the card front with glue dots.

I cut the bowl from the Stampin’ Up! Splendid Thoughts bundle from a Gray Granite print in the Sun Prints DSP and Gray Granite card stock. I adhered these together with liquid glue and adhered it to the card front with dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment in Gray Granite ink and fussy cut it with my paper snips. I adhered it to the card front with glue dots and finished the card with a Starry Sky metallic ribbon bow and iridescent pearls.

For the inside, I stamped the long leaf sprig in Gray Granite ink on a Basic White panel after stamping off. I stamped off the filler leaves twice before stamping over the plant and trimmed the bottom with a strip of Sun Prints DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Splendid Thoughts bundle is just beautiful and elegant, so of course it would look pretty in different colors. The Sun Prints DSP has an etherial quality that is beautiful on it’s own, so check out both of these items for making beautiful cards.

Stampin’ Up! Splendid Thoughts Cards

Tomorrow is the big day! The new July-December 2022 Mini Catalog will be available for ordering! I have a final set of sneak peek cards made with the beautiful Stampin’ Up! Splendid Thoughts bundle. Stampin’ Up! held a virtual event called Creativity Now for Demonstrators where we made several samples using this beautiful bundle and we saw interviews with the designers on the creative process. It was so informative and fun to get behind the scenes on what goes into making products that allow us to express our creativity!

Anyway, I made these three beautiful cards with this beautiful bundle and I’ll give you a quick description of what I did to make them. You can find the currently available supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used for each card. And tomorrow you’ll be able to order the beautiful Splendid Thoughts bundle along with the gorgeous Splendid Day specialty designer series paper!

Sending Hugs Card

I embossed a Calypso Coral panel with the Brick and Mortar embossing folder and brushed white craft ink on top with my blending brush. I wrapped it with the new Soft Sea Foam ribbon (available tomorrow) and made a bow before adhering it to the front of a Thick Basic White card base. I stamped the two leaf sprigs from the Stampin’ Up! Splendid Thoughts cling stamp set with Versamark ink on Soft Sea Foam and Petal Pink and embossed them with Copper embossing powder and cut out the images with the corresponding dies. I cut the out the other dies from Basic White along with the arch from the beautiful Splendid Day DSP. I fussy cut the copper embossed sentiment and adhered it to the arch. I adhered the leaves to the card front with glue dots and dimensionals and finished the card with iridescent pearls.

For the inside, I stamped the images from the Stampin’ Up! Splendid Thoughts stamp set in Soft Sea Foam and Petal Pink on a Basic White panel. I adhered it to a Calypso Coral mat before adhering it to the inside of the card.

Much Love Card

This was a fun card to make as it’s focal point is the coloring on the background – it’s done with Pool Party and Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Blend markers! I used the brush tip and went back and forth with the dark markers in the middle and the light markers on the outsides. I randomly stamped the little bee from the Stampin’ Up! Splendid Thoughts stamp set in Fresh Freesia and Pool Party. I adhered the panel to a Fresh Freesia Splendid Day panel and popped it on the front of a Soft Sea Foam card base with dimensionals. I partially stamped the sentiment in Fresh Freesia on Basic White and cut it out with the Stylish Shapes die and adhered a length of folded Soft Sea Foam ribbon (available tomorrow) to the back. I die cut two leaf sprigs from Soft Sea Foam and adhered them to the back of the label and popped the label on the card front with dimensionals. I finished the card front with beautiful Fresh Freesia opal dots.

I stamped the little bee from the Stampin’ Up! Splendid Thoughts stamp set in Pool Party and Fresh Freesia on a Basic White panel. I trimmed the bottom with a strip of DSP and adhered it to the inside of the card.

Let’s Celebrate Card

I randomly stamped the large leafy plant from the Stampin’ Up! Splendid Thoughts stamp set in Petal Pink all over the front of a Petal Pink card base. I used my paper snips to distress the sides of a Thick Basic White panel – the rough edges are a perfect contrast to the elegant foil arches! I wrapped a length of Soft Sea Foam ribbon (available tomorrow) around the panel and made a knot on the side and popped it on the card front with dimensionals. I cut the arch die from the Splendid Stems dies from four different foil panels in the Splendid Day DSP and adhered them to the card front with dimensionals and Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the Open Leaf Trinket (available tomorrow) to the card with glue dots and embossed the sentiment in Copper on Soft Sea Foam. I cut out the sentiment with the Stylish Shapes die and adhered it to the card front with dimensionals and finished the card with iridescent rhinestone gems.

For the inside of the card, I covered the card front and stamped the leafy plant from the Stampin’ Up! Splendid Thoughts stamp set in Petal Pink around the edge like the card front. I inked it up and stamped it off before stamping it on a Basic White panel. I trimmed the bottom with a strip of DSP and adhered it to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Splendid Thoughts bundle is beautiful and so versatile! And the Splendid Day specialty DSP is gorgeous and perfect for elegant weddings! And these products will be available tomorrow when the July-December 2022 Mini Catalog goes live!

If you haven’t received a catalog yet, but would like to be a customer of mine, I’ll be happy to send you one!
