Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet Valentine Card

Good Morning! I just love the hearts in the Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet bundle and the beautiful Country Floral Lane designer series paper. These are my favorite Valentine’s day items in a long time. And I had to pull them out for another Valentine’s day card, this time for a fun fold! You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered a panel of Country Floral Lane designer series paper to the front of a Sweet Sorbet card base. The card base is 1″ shorter in the front than the back, so I adhered another strip to the inside of the back panel. I adhered another large floral pattern panel to a Sweet Sorbet mat and adhered it to the front panel with dimensionals and let it extend a little below the card front.

I punched a Sweet Sorbet Heart and a pair of Mossy Meadow leaves from another sheet of Country Floral Lane DSP. I punched three additional large hearts from Basic White card stock and adhered them together with liquid glue and topped them with the DSP heart. This gave me a nice thick heart for the card front! I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet stamp set in Sweet Sorbet on a small strip of Basic White. I trimmed the end to make a flag and adhered it to the card front with liquid glue.

I adhered the punched DSP leaves to the card front with liquid and then adhered the layered heart over the leaves and label. I wrapped the card with Sweet Sorbet baker’s twine and made a bow and finished with three gold adhesive sequins.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet stamp set in Sweet Sorbet on Basic White and stamped the solid tiny hearts in Petal Pink ink. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card above the Country Floral Lane DSP.

A really simple card made with the pretty papers from the Country Floral Lane designer series paper with a little help from the Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet stamp set. It really makes it easy to get ready for Valentine’s day!

Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight Card with Video Tutorial

Good Morning! Have you seen all the beautiful floral stamp sets in the new January – April Mini Catalog? One of my favorites is the Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight bundle and it’s because it’s not only pretty, but so versatile. For today’s card, which I made during my Facebook Live yesterday afternoon, I stamped and colored one of the pretty images and embossed it for texture and I did not use a single one of the beautiful dies! You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

You can watch my FB Live video on my Facebook page HERE. I also posted the video to my YouTube Channel and you can view it HERE.

I adhered a panel of Fancy Flora 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to the front of a So Saffron card base with liquid glue. I stamped the pretty flower branch from the Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight cling stamp set three times in Evening Evergreen ink on a Basic white panel and colored it with light Calypso Coral, light Daffodil Delight and light Soft Succulent Stampin’ Blends.

I embossed the stamped panel with the Painted Posies 3D embossing folder and adhered it to a Crumb Cake mat with liquid glue. I adhered the layered panel to the card front with liquid glue.

I wrapped the card front twice with Linen Thread and made a loopy bow. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight stamp set on a Crumb Cake panel in Evening Evergreen ink. I trimmed the end and adhered the label to the card front with dimensionals. I finished the card front with three brushed gold butterflies.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the flower branch from the Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight stamp set in Evening Evergreen ink on the side of a Basic White panel. I colored the flowers with the same Stampin’ Blends as the flowers on the front and trimmed the bottom with a strip of Fancy Flora 6″ x 6″ DSP before adhering the panel to the inside of the card.

The stamped flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight stamp set are so delicate and look so pretty when stamped and colored. These yellow flowers remind me of a country stroll on a sunny Summer day – hopefully those days are not too far away!

Stampin’ Up! Sea Turtle Card

Good Saturday Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Sea Turtle photopolymer stamp set is a wonderful set with gorgeous sea turtle images. It is a reversible stamp set so you can stamp using both sides of the stamp. I only used the detailed side of the large sea turtle and paired it with the wonderful By The Bay 6″ x 6″ specialty designer series paper. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered a panel of By The Bay 6″ x 6″ specialty designer series paper to the front of a Mint Macaron card base with liquid glue. I love the swirling gold foil fish!

I stamped the large turtle from the Stampin’ Up! Sea Turtle stamp set in Mint Macaron ink on Soft Sea Foam and fussy cut it with my paper snips. I wanted to give it a little more definition, so I followed the example of my Inkin’ Krew Teammate Carol Buckalew and added some shading with watercolor pencils (you can find her Sea Turtle card here). I used the Old Olive pencil to color the entire turtle, coloring it heavier around the edges. I used the Early Espresso pencil to color the eyes and all the outside edges of the stamped Mint Macaron sections. Then I used the Blender Pen to smooth the colors. The slight shading is an extra step, but it really brings the turtle to life!

I stamped the sentiment from the Friends are like Seashells stamp set in Sahara Sand ink on Basic White and cut it out with the large Stylish Shapes dies. I trimmed the end and adhered it to the card front with liquid glue, adding some sea glass embellishments to the bottom of the label. I adhered the sea turtle to the card with dimensionals.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the seaweed from the Stampin’ Up! Sea Turtle stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink (first and second generation stamping) in the corner of a Basic White panel. I stamped the sentiment in Sahara Sand ink and trimmed the bottom with a strip of By The Bay 6″ x 6″ specialty DSP before adhering the panel to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Sea Turtle stamp set is a pretty set and goes well with other beach themed stamp sets. Check it out!

Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! Here’s a card made with the beautiful Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight bundle and the pretty Country Floral Lane designer series paper. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a color challenge in the Blog Hop and here is the color palette we are using this week:

I adhered a panel of Country Floral Lane designer series paper to a Basic White mat. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight cling stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink on a Basic White panel and cut it out with the third largest circle die from the Stylish Shapes dies.

I cut the Mossy Meadow panel with the large leaf vine die from the Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight dies. I cut a Sweet Sorbet panel with the 4-flower die and cut a stem and two small leaf pairs from Mint Macaron. I adhered the flowers and leaves to the stem with glue dots and adhered them to the vine with glue dots. I cut two of the Queen Anne’s Lace type flowers from Mint Macaron, trimmed the stems and tucked them in the vine adhering them with glue dots. I cut three daisy like flowers from Petal Pink and adhered Crushed Curry flower centers to them before adhering them with glue dots.

I made a bow with Balmy Blue and White ribbon and adhered it with a glue dot. I finished the label with In Color Opal rounds and adhered the panel to the front of a Balmy Blue card base with dimensionals.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the the large bouquet from the Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink on the side of a Basic White panel. I colored the flowers with Petal Pink, Sweet Sorbet and Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blends and trimmed the bottom with a strip of Country Floral Lane DSP before adhering it to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight bundle has beautiful die cut and stamped wild flowers on a smaller scale. The die cut flowers have beautiful debossed details and the stamped flowers have coordinating dies so you have the option of cutting them out. And the sentiments are beautiful too!

Stampin’ Up! Two-Tone Flora for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good morning! Welcome to the January Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop! The theme for this month’s hop is “Love” and I used the cute Stampin’ Up! Two-Tone Flora bundle to make a CAS (Clean and Simple) Valentine! You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I stamped the large rose from the Stampin’ Up! Two-Tone Flora photopolymer stamp set in Polished Pink ink on Basic White. I stamped the detailed stamp first in full strength ink and then stamped the background stamp in stamped off ink. I cut it out with the coordinating die.

I stamped the double leaf stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Two-Tone Flora stamp set twice in Soft Succulent ink in the lower corner of a Basic White panel. I laid the die cut rose on the panel and stamped the sentiment from the Country Bouquet stamp set in Evening Evergreen ink to the side.

I adhered the stamped panel to an Evening Evergreen mat with liquid glue and adhered the die cut rose to the layered panel with dimensionals.

I adhered the panel to the front of a Thick Basic White card base with dimensionals. I finished the card with a Soft Succulent bow and three In Color Opal gems.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the the sentiment from the Country Bouquet stamp set in Evening Evergreen ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the open hearts next to the sentiment in Polished Pink ink and adhered the panel to an Evening Evergreen mat before adhering it to the inside of the card.

A simple pink rose from the pretty Stampin’ Up! Two-Tone Flora bundle to say I love you. Perfect for Valentine’s Day!

Stampin’ Up! Adorable Owls Card

Good Morning! Have you seen the cute Stampin’ Up! Adorable Owls Sale-A-Bration stamp set? I finally pulled mine out and used it with the pretty Happy Forest Friends designer series paper for a natural look. The owls in this set are so sweet and cute that they go great with everything! You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

The Paper Player’s Challenge PP622 is a Tag Challenge, so I’m entering today’s card in the challenge!

I adhered a panel of Happy Forest Friends designer series paper to an Old Olive mat and adhered it to the front of a Crumb Cake card base. I stamped the cute flying owl from the Stampin’ Up! Adorable Owls photopolymer stamp set using Soft Suede ink on a Basic White panel. I colored the owl with Stampin’ Blends – dark and light Crumb Cake, light Daffodil Delight, light Balmy Blue and light Petal Pink. I fussy cut this owl with my paper snips. It’s not the easiest piece to cut out, so don’t examine it too close, just look at the big blue eyes and say ‘Awww’.

I used a blending brush to apply Balmy Blue ink to the center of a Basic White panel and cut it out with the second largest circle in the Stylish Shapes dies. I cut a panel of Old Olive with the second largest scalloped circle from the Layering Circle dies and adhered it to the back of the blue circle. I adhered the layered circles to the card front with liquid glue and popped the fussy cut owl on top with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Adorable Owls stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink on a Crumb Cake Panel and cut it out with the small angled Tailor Made Tags die. I cut the reinforcer from Old Olive and adhered it to the tag. I looped a short length of stitched burlap ribbon through the hole and tied it off with white baker’s twine, making a bow. I adhered it to the card with dimensionals and finished the card with pastel iridescent gems.

I kept the inside simple by trimming the bottom of a Basic White panel with Happy Forest Friends DSP and adhering the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal

The owls in the Stampin’ Up! Adorable Owls stamp set are so cute and sweet! This is one of the free Sale-A-Bration items you can get for free wit a $50 order during Sale-A-Bration.

Stampin’ Up! Taco Fiesta for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! Today I’m sharing a fun card made with the new Stampin’ Up! Taco Fiesta stamp set. This cute new set from the January-April 2023 Mini Catalog is available today! You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a sketch challenge and here is the pretty card sketch we are using this week:

I adhered a panel of Happy Forest Friends designer series paper to a Basic Black mat and adhered it all to the front of a Granny Apple Green card base with liquid glue.

I stamped the cute food from the Stampin’ Up! Taco Fiesta stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a Basic White panel. Before stamping, I laid out the stamps on a panel inside the rectangle die so I could figure how to arrange the food items in a tasty way. When I went to stamp the items, I first stamped the larger food items and there was a few larger white spaces, so I filled them in with additional chilis, so my tacos are a bit spicier! I colored the images with Stampin’ Blends – Old Olive, Crumb Cake, Real Red, So Saffron, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Soft Suede, Calypso Coral and Petal Pink. I cut the panel with the 4th largest Stitched Rectangle die and adhered it to Basic Black and Real Red mats before adhering it to the card front with liquid glue.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Taco Fiesta stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Crushed Curry card stock. I cut it out with the smallest long skinny Stitched Rectangle die using the two step method – partially cut one end and move the die before cutting the other end. I adhered the label to the card with glue dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the chips, chilis and lime from the Stampin’ Up! Taco Fiesta stamp set in the corners of a Basic White panel. I colored them the same as the card front with Stampin’ Blends and trimmed the bottom wit a strip of DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Fancy Flora Suite is beautiful and I really love the Stampin’ Up! Two-Tone Flora bundle! The two-step stamping flowers are fun to make and easy to do and they come out beautiful! I love that they all have coordinating dies and the beautiful floral background die is really gorgeus!

Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight Thank You Card

Good Morning! Today I have another sneak peek of the pretty Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight bundle from the upcoming January-April 2023 Mini Catalog that will be available tomorrow. I also used Sale-A-Bration Dainty Flowers designer series paper that will also be available tomorrow when Sale-A-Bration starts! I made a Thank You card and you can find the currently available supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I embossed a panel of Dainty Flowers designer series paper with the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder and adhered it to the front of an Orchid Oasis card base with liquid glue. I adhered a floral strip of Dainty Flowers DSP to a Mossy Meadow mat and adhered it to the card front with liquid glue.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight cling stamp set using Orchid Oasis ink on an Orchid Oasis panel and cut it out with the large label die from the Fragrant Flowers dies (also available Jan 5). I adhered it to the card front with glue dots.

I used my Old Olive watercolor pencil to color an area of a Basic White panel and cut a pair of leaves and stem from the Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight dies. I colored another area with Gorgeous Grape and Rich Razzleberry watercolor pencils and cut it with the fluffy flower top die. I adhered the flower top and leaves to the stem with glue dots and adhered it to the label with glue dots. I finished the card front with 2022-2024 In Color dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped one of the small flower clusters from the Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped another flower in Mossy Meadow next to the first and at the top corner. I colored the flowers with watercolor pencils – Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze, Early Espresso, Gorgeous Grape and Rick Razzleberry. I embossed a strip of Dainty Flowers DSP with the Painted Texture 3D Embossing folder and adhered it to the bottom and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

It’s always fun to use a new coloring technique. I was happy to pull out my watercolor pencils for today’s card and I’m happy with the results. The subtle shading differences work well with the images in the DSP.

Here’s a picture of the pretty Dainty Delight bundle:

All these pretty items will be available tomorrow when the new January – April Mini Catalog is open for orders and Sale-A-Bration begins!

Stampin’ Up! Fragrant Flowers Sneak Peek II

Happy New Year! Today I have another sneak peek of the pretty Stampin’ Up! Fragrant Flowers bundle with the Favored Flowers Sale-A-Bration designer series paper. Today I have a simple masculine thank you card! The January – April 2023 Mini Catalog will be available later this week on Thursday January 5th and Sale-A-Bration will start on the same day, too! You can find the currently available supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered a panel of Favored Flowers designer series paper to an Evening Evergreen mat and adhered it to the front of an Old Olive card base with liquid glue.

I used my Stamparatus to stamp the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Fragrant Flowers stamp set in Evening Evergreen ink on Old Olive card stock. I stamped it 4 times and there were still a few splotches (I think I need to re-ink my ink pad), so I used my Evening Evergreen Stampin’ Write marker to dab some ink in a few of the lighter areas. I cut the sentiment out with the large label die in the bundle and adhered it to the card with dimensionals. I finished the card with two bronze brushed metallic dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the geometric design from the Stampin’ Up! Fragrant Flowers stamp set using Evening Evergreen ink in the corner of a Basic White panel and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal. I love how this little design picks up on so many of the designs in the Favored Flowers Sale-A-Bration DSP!

This is such a simple masculine card, and the bold sentiment and label die from the Stampin’ Up! Fragrant Flowers bundle are perfect!

Here is the Stampin’ Up! Fragrant Flowers bundle with the Favored Flowers designer series paper pack:

Both of these items will be available on January 5th when ordering begins for the new January-April 2023 Mini Catalog and Sale-A-Bration!
