Stampin’ Up! Fond of Autumn Just A Note Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Fond Of Autumn bundle is a beautiful set and today I paired it with the Fabulous Frames dies and metallic foil for a Fall floral note card. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered a panel of Evening Evergreen Boughs of Holly designer series paper to the front of an Evening Evergreen card base with liquid glue. I cut a panel of copper Brushed Metallic foil with the small scalloped frame from the Fabulous Frames dies. I adhered a panel of Layering Designs Vellum to the back of the frame with dots of liquid glue and adhered the frame to the front of the card with glue dots.

I stamped one of the large floral bouquet stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Fond Of Autumn stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Basic White and I cut it out with the 4 section large die. I only needed two more berry sprigs, so I inked up the berry part of the stamp and stamped it on a smaller Basic White panel before cutting it out with the 4 section die. I colored the pieces with Stampin’ Blends. Cajun Craze for the berries, So Saffron for the berry leaves, Pale Papaya and Soft Suede for the flowers Soft Succulent and Old Olive for the flower leaves. I stamped the small single flower in Memento Tuxedo Black, cut it out with the coordinating die and colored it with Soft Suede, Pale Papaya and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends.

I arranged the berry clusters on the inside and outside of the frame and adhered them with glue dots. I adhered the large flower with dimensionals over the berries. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Fond Of Autumn stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black on the right end of a strip of Pale Papaya card stock. I used paper snips to trim the end and adhered it to the card with dimensionals and glue dots. I adhered the flower over the end of the label banner with glue dots and added three Pale Papaya Opal Gems around the bouquet.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the berry end of the large floral bouquet stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Fond Of Autumn stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink in the corners of a Basic White panel and colored them with Cajun Craze and So Saffron Stampin’ Blends. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal. I cut one of the picture corners from copper Brushed Metallic foil and adhered it to a lower corner with liquid glue.

The Stampin’ Up! Fond Of Autumn stamp bundle is such a pretty bundle and the images are great for coloring.

Stampin’ Up! Leaves of Holly for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! Here is a rustic Christmas card made with the wonderful Stampin’ Up! Leaves of Holly bundle along with the pretty Painted Christmas designer series paper. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a color challenge this week and here is the color palette we are using:

I stamped the sentiment from the Mistletoe Magic cling stamp set in Versamark ink on a strip of Boughs of Holly designer series paper. I sprinkled it with white embossing powder and shook off the excess. I heated the powder with my heat tool until it was bright and shiny. I adhered the panel to the bottom of a Painted Christmas designer series paper and then adhered the layered panel to a Cherry Cobbler mat. I adhered the layered DSP to the front of a Crumb Cake card base with dimensionals.

I stamped two of the small detailed holly leaves and one of the large detailed holly leaf from the Stampin’ Up! Leaves of Holly photopolymer stamp set using Mossy Meadow ink on Mossy Meadow card stock and cut them out with the coordinating dies. I cut two each of the pine sprigs from the Holly Berry dies from Garden Green. I cut the detailed berries from Real Red and the background berries from Poppy Parade and adhered them together with dots of liquid glue.

I arranged my die cuts on the card front to determine where to place them and started by adhering the pine sprigs with dots of liquid glue. I adhered the small holly leaves with liquid glue and the large leaf and berries with dimensionals. I made a bow with gold twine and adhered it under the berries with a glue dot.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Mistletoe Magic stamp set in Cherry Cobbler on a Basic White panel. I inked up the small holly leaf stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Leaves Of Holly stamp set in Mossy Meadow and stamped it off twice before stamping it on the panel. I adhered a strip of Painted Christmas DSP to the bottom of the panel and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Leaves of Holly bundle is so versatile that it can create very elegant Christmas cards with foil and rustic ones against Crumb Cake. So many ways to express Holiday creativity.

Stampin’ Up! Spruced Up Embossed Tree Christmas Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Spruced Up is a fun Christmas bundle with bold modern graphic Christmas Trees, ornaments and presents. I used one of the Christmas trees with the pretty Painted Christmas designer series paper for today’s card. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered a panel of Painted Christmas DSP to a Pear Pizzazz mat with liquid glue and adhered it to the front of a Soft Sea Foam card base with dimensionals. I embossed a panel of vellum with the snowflake embossing folder from the Wintry 3D embossing folders and adhered it to the front with Stampin’ Seal.

I stamped the large tree from the Stampin’ Up! Spruced Up photopolymer stamp set in Versamark ink on Garden Green card stock. I sprinkled it with white embossing powder and shook off the excess. I heat set the powder with my heat tool until it was bright and shiny, then I cut it out with the coordinating die.

I adhered the embossed tree to the card front with dimensionals, covering the Stampin’ Seal adhesive under the vellum. I cut a little star with the Stampin’ Up! Spruced Up dies from white glimmer paper and adhered it to the tree top with a bit of dimensional. I finished the card by decorating the tree with pretty white Seasonal Adhesive Sequins.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiments from the Stampin’ Up! Spruced Up stamp set on a Basic White panel in Garden Green ink. I trimmed the bottom with a strip of Painted Christmas DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The bold designs in the Stampin’ Up! Spruced Up bundle make beautiful simple Christmas cards without fuss. And the dies are wonderfully designed to cut an outline design at the same time as you cut the stamped image. I saved the outline tree from this card for an upcoming card.

Stampin’ Up! Perched In A Tree Kindness Card

Good Morning! Have you seen the pretty Stampin’ Up! Perched In A Tree bundle? This bundle has a pretty aspen forest background die cut that also looks like a birch tree background. And the cling stamps have a sweet bird and beautiful sentiments that can be used for any time of year. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I cut a Basic White panel with the large tree frame die from the Stampin’ Up! Perched In A Tree bundle and adhered it to a panel of Gray Granite Boughs of Holly designer series paper. I frayed the ends of a short length of Natural ribbon and adhered it to the panel with Stampin’ Seal before adhering the layered die cut to the front of a Gray Granite card base.

I cut a large aspen leaf and two small leaves from each of the colors of Brushed Metallic Foil using the Aspen Tree dies and adhered them to the card front over the ribbon with glue dots.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Perched In A Tree stamp set in Versamark Ink on Soft Suede. I sprinkled the sentiment with white embossing powder and shook off the excess. I heated the powder with my heat tool until it was shiny and cut it out with the Stylish Shapes large banner die. I adhered the label to the card with dimensionals and finished the card with three iridescent gems.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the pretty little bird in the lower corner of a Basic White panel in Gray Granite ink. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

I love how using the different textures from the DSP, ribbon and foil leaves makes this card so elegant! But it all starts with the beautiful tree frame die from the Stampin’ Up! Perched In A Tree bundle!

Stampin’ Up! Soft Seedlings So Grateful Card

Good Morning! Here’s another fall card with the beautiful Stampin’ Up! Soft Seedlings cling stamp set. I used it with the pretty Leaf Fall 3D embossing folder for a leaf filled so grateful card. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I stamped the pretty maple leaf from the Stampin’ Up! Soft Seedlings stamp set multiple times around a Sahara Sand panel. I stamped it in Crushed Curry, Soft Succulent, Cajun Craze, Rich Razzleberry and Mango Melody, cleaning it off between stampings. I embossed the panel with the pretty Leaf Fall 3D embossing folder.

I adhered the embossed panel to a Mango Melody mat with liquid glue and adhered it to the front of a Rich Razzleberry card base. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Soft Seedlings stamp set in Versamark Ink on Rich Razzleberry and sprinkled it with white embossing powder. I shook off the excess and heated it until it was bright and shiny. I cut it out with the large banner die from the Stylish Shapes dies so that the sentiment was on the right side of the banner. I trimmed left end straight and adhered it to the card front with liquid glue.

I made a four loop bow from Linen Thread and adhered it on the sentiment label with a glue dot. I finished the label with a large amber gem (I love these gems!!).

For the inside of the card, I stamped parts of the leaf from the Stampin’ Up! Soft Seedlings stamp set on a Sahara Sand panel using the same ink colors as the card front. I embossed the panel with the Leaf Fall 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the side of a Basic White panel with liquid glue before adhering it to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Soft Seedlings stamp set is so pretty and the sentiments are great! It’s the perfect stamp set for this time of year!

Stampin’ Up! Rustic Harvest Card with Video Tutorial

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Rustic Harvest designer series paper is a really pretty and versatile Fall themed paper and I’ve recently seen cards featuring the designs colored with blends! Coloring DSP is always fun and I decided to use this technique for today’s card. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

You can watch my Facebook live from yesterday afternoon HERE. I have also posted it to my YouTube Channel and you can view it HERE.

I adhered a panel of Crushed Curry Stampin’ Up! Rustic Harvest designer series paper to the front of a Crushed Curry Card base with liquid glue. I cut a Mossy Meadow panel of the DSP with the third largest stitched rectangle die and adhered it to the card front on an angle.

I colored the veggie panel of the Stampin’ Up! Rustic Harvest DSP with Stampin’ Blends – light Daffodil Delight on the Crushed Curry squashes, light Soft Suede on the acorns and stems, light Old Olive on the Mossy Meadow squashes and oak leaves, light Pumpkin Pie on the Cajun Craze pumpkins and light Fresh Freesia on the Merry Merlot leaves. I cut the panel with the 4th largest Stitched Rectangle die and adhered it to the card front on the opposite angle with liquid glue.

I wrapped the card with black and white gingham ribbon and made a bow. I stamped the sentiment from the Ringed with Nature photopolymer stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Crushed Curry and cut it out with the small Stitched Rectangle die. I adhered it to the card with dimensionals and finished it with a black matte dot.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the squiggly from the Hello Harvest cling stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink in the corner of a Basic White panel. I colored a strip of Stampin’ Up! Rustic Harvest DSP using Stampin’ Blends like the front panel and adhere it to the bottom of the inside panel before adhering it to the inside of the card.

Here is the card I made during my video with my sample card. For my sample, I reversed the Stampin’ Up! Rustic Harvest DSPs and used a Mossy Meadow card base with an Old Olive label. I love those pretty veggie images and I love the softer tone that you get by coloring the white. Plus it’s easy and fun.

Stampin’ Up! Hello Harvest You Are A Blessing Card

Good Morning! Do you plant mums in the Fall? I always do! I love the yellow and red ones, and that’s why I love the beautiful floral images in the Rustic Harvest designer series paper. It’s perfect when paired with the wonderful bold sentiments in the Stampin’ Up! Hello Harvest bundle like today’s card. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I embossed a Merry Merlot panel with the Painted Texture 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a Merry Merlot card base. I adhered a panel of the pretty floral Rustic Harvest designer series paper to a Basic Black mat – I chose a DSP panel with a Merry Merlot mum!

I wrapped a length of black and white gingham ribbon around the panel and made a bow on the right side. I adhered a length of white ribbon to the card front with Stampin’ Seal and adhered the DSP panel with part of the ribbon peeking out with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Hello Harvest cling stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Crushed Curry Rustic Harvest DSP and cut it out with the Stylish Shapes banner die. I cut a Basic Black label with the same die and adhered it to the back to make it thicker and adhered it to the card with dimensionals. I finished the card front with Iridescent Pearls.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Hello Harvest stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black on Basic White. I cut two of the smallest butterflies from the Brilliant Wings dies and adhered them together with liquid glue. I adhered the butterfly to the panel and trimmed the side with a strip of floral DSP before adhering the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

My pretty card is CASE’d from a similar card in the July – December 2022 Mini Catalog. I haven’t used Merry Merlot in a long while and I’m so glad that I pulled it out for this card because the color is so rich! I hope you like it as much as I do.

Join me for a Facebook Live this Afternoon!

I’m planning to go live on my Facebook Page at 1:00 ET this afternoon to make a card. Join me as I make another card featuring the Rustic Harvest designer series paper. Look forward to seeing you then!

Stampin’ Up! World Card Making Day Cards

Good Morning! Last weekend Stampin’ Up! celebrated World Card Making Day by sharing three cards made with the Cottage Rose, Cottage Wreaths and Welcome Home bundles. I made versions of these pretty cards and added an embossed element to each.

The Cottage Rose bundle was used on the first card. The pretty flower was colored with Stampin’ Blends. I customized the design by running the background through the Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder before adhering the mat and the card base.

The second card was made with the Cottage Wreaths bundle using a watercolor wash technique on Shimmery White paper! I customized my design by adding a Flirty Flamingo mat and embossing the background with the Painted Posies 3D embossing folder instead of a tone on tone stamping technique.

The third card used the new Warm Welcome bundle that is an early release from the upcoming January – June 2023 Mini Catalog. I customized it by embossing the background with the Brick and Mortar 3D embossing folder and using the door opening for the background wall. And this card used blending brushes and watercolor pencils to color the stamped images.

I love all the different coloring techniques that were used during the event! It was so much fun and the cards turned out so pretty. You can find the Stampin’ Up! WCMD card stock cuts HERE and you can find the card instructions HERE, so be sure to check them out. I’ve shared how I made these designs my own, how would you customize them?

Stampin’ Up! Fond Of Autumn for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! I have Fall card made with the pretty Stampin’ Up! Fond Of Autumn bundle and the Timber 3D embossing folder. This is a great bundle for coloring and I colored today’s card with Stampin’ Blends. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a theme challenge this week that is perfect for the season:

I embossed a panel of Calypso Coral card stock with the Timber 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a Calypso Coral card base. I stamped two of the large floral images from the Stampin’ Up! Fond Of Autumn photopolymer stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Basic White and cut them out with the coordinating detailed die. This is the die that cuts the large image into four different pieces, so save your extra die cuts for your next card!

I colored the acorns with Soft Suede Stampin Blends and the leaves in Mossy Meadow and Old Olive Stampin Blends. I stamped four additional small oak leaves and two acorns in Memento Tuxedo Black on Basic White and cut them out with the coordinating dies. I colored them with Mossy Meadow and Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Fond Of Autumn stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Pale Papaya and cut it out with the circle die from the All That dies.

I arranged my die cuts on the card front to determine where to place them and started by adhering the label with glue dots. I adhered the little leaves and acorns in the lower left corner with glue dots, tucking them under the label. I adhered the two large acorn and leaf clusters together with glue dots and adhered them to the card front with dimensionals. I adhered the last acorn to the leaves with a glue dot and tucked the last two little leaves under the larger die cuts, adhering them with glue dots. I finished off the card front with a bow and gold metallic dot.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the acorn from the Stampin’ Up! Fond Of Autumn stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a Basic White panel. I covered it with a mask and stamped the leaf on top. I colored the leaf and acorn with Mossy Meadow and Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

This card reminds me of my old house where we had huge oak trees in the front. We had so many acorns and so many leaves to rake, well into the winter! The squirrels loved it! So I love the Stampin’ Up! Fond of Autumn bundle. And I especially love how the large image can either be die cut as a single image or cut into 4 different pieces – it’s really nice!
