Stampin’ Up! Country Flowers Sending Love Card

Good Morning! One of the pretty new bundles in the Stampin’ Up! 2024-2025 Annual Catalog is the Stampin’ Up! Country Flowers bundle. This pretty photopolymer stamp and die set has pretty florals and different pots you can arrange them in along with a little stool to stand it on. I used the die cut flowers and leaves with the Country Lace and Country Woods designer series paper to make a Sending Love friendship card. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I adhered a strip of Country Woods designer series paper to the side of a Country Lace designer series paper panel with liquid glue and popped it on a Basic White mat. I wrapped a length of Crumb Cake baker’s twine around the DSP seam and tied a bow and adhered it to the front of a Misty Moonlight card base.

I used the large circle from the Stylish Shapes dies to cut an panel of Country Lace DSP and stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Country Flowers stamp set in Crumb Cake ink at the top. I used the tub die from the Stampin’ Up! Country Flowers dies to cut a panel of Country Woods designer series paper and adhered it to the die cut circle with liquid glue.

I cut the flowers and leaves from the Stampin’ Up! Country Flowers dies from Flirty Flamingo, Petal Pink and Old Olive card stock. I used Flirty Flamingo for the large floral and a double flower dies, Petal Pink for the triple floral die and Old Olive for all the leaves dies. I adhered the leaves and Flirty Flamingo flowers with glue dots and used bits of dimensionals to adhere the Petal Pink flowers. I finished the flower centers with small Peach Pie shimmer dots.

For the inside of the card I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Country Flowers stamp set in Crumb Cake ink on a Basic White panel. I trimmed the bottom with a strip of DSP and adhered the remaining die cut flowers and leaves with liquid glue. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Country Flowers bundle is part of the Country Woods Suite and these products have a nice modern country farmhouse feel. The sentiments are sweet and fresh and this bundle gives a lot of pretty options with different stamped floral bouquet and container images in addition to wonderful coordinating dies. Be sure to check it out!

Stampin’ Up! Trucking Along Valentine’s Day Card

Good Morning! I used the fun Stampin’ Up! Trucking Along bundle with my favorite Bee My Valentine bundle to make a Valentine’s Day Card. I also uses the pretty pink and red Sale-A-Bration Most Adored designer series paper to go with it all.  You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I adhered a plaid panel of Most Adored specialty designer series paper to the front of a Real Red Card base with liquid glue. I adhered a heart filled panel to a Real Red Mat and tied it with Flirty Flamingo baker’s twine, made a bow and popped it on the card front with dimensionals.

I stamped the truck outline from the sweet Stampin’ Up! Trucking Along stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Basic White. I stamped the body using Real Red ink and punched it out with the Trucking Along Builder Punch. I colored the wheels and fenders with Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends and the windows with light Pool Party. I stamped the cloud in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored it with the light Pool Party Party Stampin’ Blend before fussy cutting. I stamped the ground in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and cut it out with the second largest circle from the stylish shapes die. I adhered the truck to the circle with dimensionals and the cloud with glue dots.

I popped the circle on the card with dimensionals and colored a panel of Bubble Bath shimmer paper with light Calypso Coral, dark Flirty Flamingo and Light Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends. I proceeded to punch out a bunch of little hearts with the Bee Builder Punch and adhered them to the card, some with glue dots and some with dimensionals. I added some Real Red Festive Pearls for more shiny texture.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Bee My Valentine stamp set in Real Red ink on Basic White. I adhered some more small punched hearts and trimmed the bottom with a strip of DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

I’ve seen Valentine’s Day cards with the heart balloons streaming from the back and that’s the look I wanted to go for. The vintage truck from the Stampin’ Up! Trucking Along bundle is so cute, so I thought I’d give it a try. What do you think?

Stampin’ Up! Painted Lavender Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Painted Lavender bundle is part of the Perennial Lavender Suite in the new catalog and I used it for a pretty card today. My card is CASE’d from a card in the catalog and uses a watercolor wash technique for the background! You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I used my water painter and a watercolor palette to apply water all over a panel of watercolor paper. I tapped a stamp block in Shaded Spruce ink and swirled my water painter in the ink on the block. The I brushed the ink on the wet paper using long horizontal strokes on the bottom of the panel. I used the same techniques to apply Fresh Freesia ink to the middle section and Crumb Cake ink to the top, cleaning my water painter each time. I set the panel aside to dry and cleaned up my stamp blocks, water painter and work area. After the panel dried, I cut it out with the second largest rectangle from the Perennial Postage dies.

I adhered a panel of floral Perennial Lavender designer series paper to the front of a Crumb Cake card base with liquid glue and popped the watercolor panel on top with dimensionals. I cut lavender sprigs from Gorgeous Grape and Highland Heather using the double sprig die from the Stampin’ Up! Painted Lavender dies and adhered them to the watercolor panel with glue dots.

I stamped the single flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Painted Lavender stamp set on Basic White. There are two stamps, designed to stamp on top of each other. The largest stamp was inked in Highland Heather ink and I used a sponge dauber to apply Berry Burst and Orchid Oasis to spots. I inked the smaller stamp in Gorgeous Grape and stamped it on top. This produces a gorgeous blend of colors! I stamped two flower sprigs using this technique and cut them out with the coordinating die. I used stamped off Shaded Spruce for the stems and cut them out and adhered them to the flower. I adhered them to the card with dimensionals on top and glue dots on the stems.

I stamped the sentiment from the Perennial Postage stamp set in Gorgeous Grape ink on a Perennial Lavender DSP panel and cut it out with the second smallest rectangle Perennial Postage die. I made a bow with Crumb Cake baker’s twine and adhered it and Popped the label on top with dimensionals. I finished the card with purple shimmer gems.

I left the inside of the card blank, simply adhering a strip of Perennial Lavender DSP to the bottom of a Basic White panel. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

This card turned out to be a bit more complicated than I thought, but it was fun to make. I was reminded of how much fun it is to watercolor and a simple wash is easy to do. And aren’t the flowers in the Stampin’ Up! Painted Lavender stamp set gorgeous! Using sponge daubers to add colors to the stamp results in a beautiful blend that is made even prettier with the second stamp. The Perennial Lavender suite is definitely one of the best!

Stampin’ Up! Lovely and Sweet for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good Morning! Welcome to the December Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop! The theme for this month’s hop is “Love” and I used the Stampin’ Up! Lovely and Sweet bundle with the pretty Most Adored Sale-A-Bration specialty designer series paper to make a Petal Pink love card. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

I used a blending brush to apply Petal Pink ink all over a panel of gold floral Most Adored Sale-A-Bration specialty designer series paper and adhered it to a Pebbled Path mat with Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to the front of a Petal Pink card base.

I used the large floral die from the Stampin’ Up! Lovely and Sweet dies to cut a gold foil design from the Nature’s Sweetness specialty DSP – I love when dies cut out DSP images!. I adhered the die cut to the card front with dimensionals. I folded a length of gold ribbon and adhered it to the card with glue dots.

I cut several three sets of flowers from Petal Pink using the dies from the Stampin’ Up! Lovely and Sweet die set. I cut three small stems and three small leaf clusters from Lost Lagoon. I adhered the flowers to the stems and ahdered them to the leaves with liquid glue.

I adhered two of the layered flower die cuts to the card front with liquid glue. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Lovely and Sweet stamp set in Pebbled Path ink on Petal Pink card stock and cut it out with the label die. I adhered it to the card with dimensionals, using a double layer of dimensionals on the bottom. I finished the flowers with iridescent foil gems.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the little grid from the Stampin’ Up! Lovely and Sweet stamp set in stamped-off Pebbled Path ink in the corner of a Basic White panel. I trimmed the bottom with a strip of Most Adored specialty DSP that I colored Petal Pink. I adhered the third flower and stem die cuts to the panel with liquid glue and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Lovely and Sweet bundle has pretty images and wonderful little die cuts that are so versatile. And I love the gold foil designer series papers – they can be colored in to go with any color palette!

Stampin’ Up! Sending Smiles for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! The Stampin’ Up! Sending Smiles photopolymer stamp set and the coordinating Sending dies are a wonderful set for floral cards for any occasion. I used them to make a love and hugs friendship card with the Bright and Beautiful 6″ x 6″ designer series paper for today. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a color challenge this week:

I used liquid glue to adhere a panel of Bright and Beautiful designer series paper to a Blueberry Bushel mat and popped it on the front of an Azure Afternoon card base. I cut another panel of the DSP with the 5th largest Deckled Rectangles die and adhered it to another Blueberry Bushed mat.

I stamped the flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Sending Smiles stamp set in Bubble Bath ink on Basic White and stamped the centers in Lemon Lime Twist. I stamped the large stem and leaves in Pretty Peacock and cut them all out with the coordinating dies. I adhered them to the small panel with glue dots and dimensionals and popped the panel onto the card front with dimensionals. I stamped the small sentiment in Pretty Peacock ink on Lemon Lime Twist and cut it out with the short label die. I popped it on the card front with dimensionals.

I applied adhesive strips behind a strip of Blueberry Bushel and cut the detailed ‘Sending’ word out with the dies. I used another strip of Bright and Beautiful DSP to cut the background work out and adhered the word to the background. I adhered the die cut sentiment to the card with dimensionals and glue dots and finished the card with a Lemon Lime Twist bow and Bubble Bath sequins.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the flower from the Stampin’ Up! Sending Smiles stamp set in Bubble Bath and Lemon Lime Twist in corner of a Basic White panel. I covered it with a mask and stamped the stem and leaves in Pretty Peacock. I adhered the panel to a Blueberry bushel mat before adhering it to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

There are so many sentiments in the Stampin’ Up! Sending Smiles stamp set and the two label dies in the Sending dies are a perfect fit.

I embossed a Pool Party panel with the Fern 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a panel of Inked Botanicals 6″ x 6″ designer series paper. I adhered the panel to a Pool Party mat and popped it on the front of a Calypso Coral card base.

I used the fern die from the Meadows dies to cut a Lost Lagoon panel and I used the flower die to cut a Petal Pink panel. I adhered the die cut fern to the card with dots of liquid glue. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow stamp set in Copper Clay ink on Lost Lagoon card stock and cut it out with the little tag die.

I looped a length of Linen Thread through the tag and tied it to the die cut flower stem. I adhered the flower to the card with glue dots on the stem and dimensionals on the flower. I secured the little tag with a dimensional and finished the card front with Pastel Iridescent Rhinestones.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the flower from the Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow stamp set in Petal Pink ink on the side of a Basic White panel. I inked the spatter stamp with Lost Lagoon ink and stamped off twice before stamping over the flower. I stamped the sentiment in Lost Lagoon and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The wildflowers in the Inked Botanicals 6″ x 6″ designer series paper go great with the die cut flowers from the Meadows dies and I love it when new products go so well with old favorites! I also stamped the side of a Basic White with the Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow flowers to match the inside of the card.

Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers Card with Video Tutorial

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers cling stamp set and the coordinating Sunflower dies have been a favorite for years, but they’re both on the retiring list. So I had to pull out this beautiful set to say good bye. I used an old design and updated it with the pretty Regency Park 6″ x 6″ designer series paper for a Facebook Live yesterday afternoon. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

You can watch my FB Live video on my Facebook page HERE. I also posted the video to my YouTube Channel and you can view it HERE.

I adhered a panel of Regency Park 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to the front of a thick Basic White card base with liquid glue. I embossed a panel of Petal Pink with the Cane Weave 3D embossing folder and adhered it to a Night of Navy mat before adhering it to the card front with liquid glue.

I cut a panel of Regency Park 6″ x 6″ DSP with the solid large sunflower from the Sunflower dies and I cut a panel of Sweet Sorbet with the large detailed sunflower. I cut the flower center die and the detailed sunflower from So Saffron and trimmed the petals off, leaving just the center. I adhered the So Saffron center to the Sweet Sorbet flower with liquid glue and adhered it to the DSP flower with dimensionals. I tucked the small flower center into the middle, adhering it with liquid glue.

I cut three solid leaves from Regency Park 6″ x 6″ DSP and applied adhesive sheet behind a strip of Shaded Spruce before cutting three detailed leaves. I adhered the leaves together and arranged the flower and leaves on the card, adhering them with glue dots.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers cling stamp set in Night of Navy ink on Basic White. I cut it out with the small fancy rectangle from the Something Fancy dies and tucked the label under the flower. I adhered a Balmy Blue and white ribbon bow with a glue dot and finished with flower gems.

I left the inside of the card simple, just adhering a strip of Regency Park 6″ x 6″ DSP to the bottom of a Basic White panel. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stamping’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set and Sunflower dies are wonderful with pretty sentiments, gorgeous sunflower stamps and fun dies. And the dies also cut out the stamped flowers! Hope you like today’s card!

New 2023-2024 Annual Catalog Coming Soon!

The new Stampin’ Up! 2023-2024 Annual Catalog will debut on May 2, 2023! The Demonstrator pre-order begins tomorrow, so I will have sneak peeks of wonderful new products and colors!

I will also order catalogs for my current customers. If you would like a copy of the new Stampin’ Up! 2023-2024 Annual Catalog, simply place an order and I will be happy to send you one, too!

This Last Chance Products promotion will include two lists of Last Chance Products that will no longer be available once the catalog retires. There will be one for each catalog retiring. For these retiring catalogs, there will not be a Carryover List. You can find carryover products in the upcoming Annual Catalog.

A few things to know about the retiring lists and the Last Chance products:

  • Items on the retiring list are only available while supplies last, so order soon to make sure that you are able to get the items that you are wanting!
  • The 2021-2023 In Color items, ink pads, refills, Stampin’ Blends and cardstock are usually some of the first items to sell out (The Soft Succulent Stampin’ Blends are already gone!!).
  • There will be retiring colors as part of the Color Refresh, and these items will likely sell out early as well!
  • Some of the items will have sale prices listed.  Those sale prices do not start until Tuesday April 4.
  • The last day to order from these catalogs will be May 1, 2023.

Note that while some of the bundles are on the retiring list, the individual stamps and dies/punched may be carried over. Also, if one of the items in a retiring bundle is deeply discounted, the total price may be less than the bundled price, so pull out your calculators to double check.

Click HERE to download a PDF of the Retiring Last Chance Products from the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog.

Stampin’ Up! Happy Labels Card

Good Morning! I CASE’d the Jan-Apr Mini Catalog and used the Stampin’ Up! Happy Labels bundle to make a friendship card. I was struck by the unique design of this pretty card along with the wonderful sentiments, so I just needed to copy it. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

The original card was a square card, but I wanted to make it a standard A2 size and I wanted to leave a small Fresh Freesia border around the front, so I adhered a panel of Fresh Freesia Butterfly Kisses 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to the front of a Fresh Freesia card base. I stamped the pretty floral image from the Hand Penned Petals stamp set in Sahara Sand ink on a Sahara Sand panel. I cut the panel twice horizontally into 1″ strips and trimmed the right sides with the scallops side of the Stampin’ Up! Happy Labels Pick A Punch. I distressed the edges of the strips with Sahara Sand ink using a sponge dauber and adhered them to the card front with liquid glue, leaving a thin space between the strips.

I punched a strip of Petal Pink Country Gingham 6″ x 6″ designer series paper with the ticket side of the Stampin’ Up! Happy Labels Pick A Punch and tied a linen thread bow around the other end. I adhered the DSP strip to the card front with dimensionals. I used the flower dies from the Pretty Pillowbox dies to cut flowers from Fresh Freesia, Flirty Flamingo and Petal Pink. I adhered the small flowers to the large flowers with glue dots and topped each with a gold Pastel Sequin.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Happy Labels stamp set in Versamark ink on Vellum. I sprinkled it with white embossing powder and shook off the excess. I heated it with my heat tool until it was bright and shiny and cut it out with the label die from the Something Fancy dies. I adhered the label to the card front with a little Stampin’ Seal applied behind the lettering. I adhered the flowers around the label using glue dots and dimensionals.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the flowers from the Hand Penned Petals stamp set using stamped off Sahara Sand ink in the corners of a Basic White panel. I stamped the sweet sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Happy Labels stamp set in Fresh Freesia ink and adhered a strip of Butterfly Kisses DSP to the bottom before adhering the panel to the inside of the card with Stamping’ Seal.

You can pick up the Happy Labels stamp set in both cling and photopolymer, whichever you prefer. That goes for both the stamp set and the bundle, so check your item numbers and descriptions carefully to get your favorite.

I love the technique of cutting the stamped panel into 1″ strips so that it fits in the Stampin’ Up! Happy Labels Pick A Punch! And I love the sentiments in the stamp set – you can get it in either cling or photopolymer. The little flowers from the Pillowbox dies are so sweet and I love how they are arranged with the vellum! The Stampin’ Up! catalogs have so many different ideas, so check them out when you need inspiration!

Stampin’ Up! Two-Tone Flora for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! Here’s a country bouquet love you card made with the pretty Stampin’ Up! Two Tone Flora bundle and the Country Gingham 6″ x 6″ designer series paper. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a sketch challenge in the Blog Hop and here is the pretty card sketch we are using this week:

I adhered a panel of Mint Macaron Country Gingham 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to a Basic White panel and popped the layered panel on the front of a Mint Macaron card base with dimensionals. I stamped the flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Two-Tone Flora photopolymer stamp set using the two-step stamping method by stamping the detailed stamp first in full strength ink and the background stamp next in stamped off ink. I stamped the large rose using Sweet Sorbet ink, the small rose using Pale Papaya ink and the small flower cluster using Balmy Blue ink. I also stamped a second large rose for the inside of the card and cut them all out with the coordinating dies.

I stamped three leaf sprigs from the Stampin’ Up! Two-Tone Flora stamp set in stamped off Shaded Spruce and cut them out with the coordinating die (I saved one for the inside). I stamped the sentiments from the Sentimental Park photopolymer stamp set in Mint Macaron on Basic White and cut it out with the pretty label die from the Potted Succulents dies. I arranged the die cuts on the card front and adhered the label and leaves with glue dots. I adhered the small rose with glue dots and the large rose with dimensionals. I colored the large rose with Wink of Stella to give it some sparkle.

Before adhering the small flower clusters, I made a triple bow with Sweet Sorbet baker’s twine and adhered it to the card with a glue dot. I adhered the small flower cluster with dimensionals and finished the card with several adhesive translucent pearl hearts.

For the inside of the card, I adhered the strip of Country Gingham 6″ x 6″ DSP to the bottom of a Basic White panel. I adhered the leaf sprig and large rose with liquid glue and trimmed the overhang with paper snips before adhering the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The flowers in the Stampin’ Up! Two-Tone Flora bundle are really pretty and come out so well using the two step stamping method. I love that there are coordinating dies to cut them out and the background floral die is the best ever. It’s definitely one of my favorites!

Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet Valentine’s Day Card

Good Morning! I love the Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet stamp set along with the Country Floral Lane designer series paper, so I had to pull them out again for another Valentine’s Day card. Here is a simple card made with the pretty bicycle pattern in the Country Floral Lane DSP pack. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered a strip of Balmy Blue Country Floral Lane designer series paper to a bicycle panel of Country Floral Lane DSP with Liquid Glue. I adhered the layered DSP to the front of a Balmy Blue card base with liquid glue. I wrapped a length of Sweet Sorbet baker’s twine around the card front and tied a bow.

I stamped the large heart from the double heart stamp in the Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet photopolymer stamp set in Petal Pink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the sentiment over the heart in Mossy Meadow ink and cut it out with the third largest circle die in the Stylish Shapes dies.

I cut a scalloped circle from Sweet Sorbet using the fourth largest scalloped circle die in the Layering Circles dies and adhered it to the back of the stamped circle with liquid glue. I adhered it to the card front with dimensionals and finished it with three pearl hearts.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet stamp set in Sweet Sorbet on a Basic White panel. I stamped the open double heart next to the sentiment in Balmy Blue ink and trimmed the bottom with a strip of Country Floral Lane DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

I love the Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet stamp set because of the beautiful hearts and wonderful sentiments and the sweet Country Floral Lane designer series paper. While it’s perfect for Valentine’s day, it’s also great for any spring time occasion celebrating love!
