Stampin’ Up! Sweet Little Stockings for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! I have another Christmas card today made with the fun Stampin’ Up! Sweet Little Stockings stamp set and the cute Sweet Stockings designer series paper. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

We have a fun theme challenge this week with critters so I felt compelled to use these mischievous little scamps!

I adhered the three Cherry Cobbler strips of Sweet Stockings designer series paper to the front of a Pool Party card base with Stampin’ Seal and I adhered the Christmas Tree lights DSP on top. I fussy cut the silly dog and adhered it to the bottom corner of the Christmas lights panel.

I stamped the Santa hat and kitty from the Stampin’ Up! Sweet Little Stockings stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Basic White. I cut them out with the coordinating dies and colored them with the Cherry Cobbler and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends. I cut a medium stocking from the Sweet Stockings DSP with the Stockings die and adhered it to the panel with glue dots and popped the kitty on top with dimensionals. I adhered the Santa hat on the dog with glue dots.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Sweet Little Stockings stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink on a Pool Party panel and cut it out with the second smallest scalloped rectangle from the Stitched So Sweetly dies. I adhered it to the top of the Christmas light panel with glue dots and finished the front with three Bumblebee dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiments from the Stampin’ Up! Sweet Little Stockings stamp set in Cherry Cobbler and Memento Tuxedo Black inks on a Basic White panel. I trimmed the bottom of the panel with more Christmas lights from the Sweet Stockings DSP and adhered another die cut stocking on top. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The little critters from the Stampin’ Up! Sweet Little Stockings bundle and Sweet Stockings designer series paper just make you shake your head and smile. They’re so much fun and the colors are beautiful – they make the perfect pet themed Christmas card!

Stampin’ Up! Whimsical Trees for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! Today’s unique Christmas Card is made with the Stampin’ Up! Whimsical Trees stamp bundle and the beautiful Whimsy and Wonder specialty designer series paper. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

We have a sketch challenge this week and here is the pretty sketch we are using:

I embossed a panel of Mint Macaron with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a Mint Macaron card base. I adhered a panel of Whimsy and Wonder specialty designer series paper to a Mint Macaron mat so that the top edges lined up. I wrapped a length of silver cord around the panel and made a loopy bow, securing it with a glue dot.

I stamped a panel of Mint Macaron with the large tree from the Stampin’ Up! Whimsical Trees cling stamp set in Versamark ink. I sprinkled the tree with white embossing powder and shook off the excess. I heat the powder with my heat tool until it was shiny and then cut the tree out with the coordinating die from the Christmas Trees dies. I decorated the tree with silver diamond epoxy shapes and adhered it to the card front with dimensonals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Whimsical Trees stamp set in Versamark ink on Mint Macaron. This time I sprinkled it with silver embossing powder, shook off the excess and heat set it with my heat tool until it was shiny. I cut it out with my favorite Messages die and adhered it to the card with glue dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Whimsical Trees stamp set in Smoky Slate ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the large tree in stamped off Mint Macaron next to the sentiment. I applied some adhesive sheets to the back of silver foil and used the Christmas Tree die to cut out a silver Christmas tree. I peeled off the adhesive backing and adhered the tree to the bottom of the panel and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Whimsical Trees bundle has beautiful artistic Christmas Trees that are perfect for modern looking Christmas Cards. The Whimsy and Wonder specialty designer series paper is also so beautiful with iridescent silver accents and light color palette.

Stampin’ Up! Frosted Gingerbread Christmas Card

Good Morning! Today I have another Christmas Card made with the new Stampin’ Up! Frosted Gingerbread bundle. This is a fun bundle with stamps and dies that have a Christmas Cookie theme with snowflake, ornament, star and bell shaped cookies for Santa. And there is a coordinating designer series paper pack that I used with more cookies that coordinate with the Gingerbread dies. And there are lots and lots of peppermints!! You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I embossed an Old Olive panel with the Evergreen Forest 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the front of an Old Olive card base. I adhered a panel of plaid Gingerbread and Peppermints 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to a Basic White mat and adhered it to the card front. I cut a scalloped rectangle from Real Red using the Scalloped Contours dies and adhered it to the card front.

I cut out two of the snowflake cookies from Cinnamon Cider card stock with the die from the Gingerbread dies. I cut another snowflake from the Gingerbread and Peppermints 6″ x 6″ designer series paper and adhered the three snowflakes together. I made three peppermints, two small and one medium, by cutting a Basic White circle, an Old Olive swirl and a Real Red swirl. I adhered the swirls to the circle with dots of liquid glue, offsetting the Real Red so that the Old Olive just peeks through.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Frosted Gingerbread stamp set by only inking the Merry Christmas portion of the stamp with Real Red ink and stamping it on Basic White. I cut it out with the smallest scalloped rectangle from the Stitched So Sweetly dies and adhered it on the card. I adhered the cookie and peppermints to the card with glue dots and finished the card front with a ruffled Real Red bow.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Whimsical Trees stamp set in Real Red on a Basic White panel. I inked up the peppermints stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Frosted Gingerbread photopolymer stamp set in Real Red and Old Olive and stamped it next to the sentiment. I adhered a strip of the plaid Gingerbread and Peppermints 6″ x 6″ DSP to the bottom of the panel and adhered it to a Real Red mat and then to the inside of the card.

The cookies in the Stampin’ Up! Frosted Gingerbread bundle are perfect for a sweet themed Christmas – especially with the peppermints! So why not bake a dozen or two?

Stampin’ Up! Poinsettia Petals Video Tutorial

Hello! I hope you had a great weekend! Yesterday afternoon during my weekly Facebook Live, I made a Christmas card with the beautiful Stampin’ Up! Poinsettia Petals photopolymer stamp set and the coordinating Poinsettia dies. I combined them with the beautiful Whimsy and Wonder specialty designer series paper from the new July-December 2021 Mini Catalog for a non traditional color palette Christmas card. You can find the currently available supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

Here is the Facebook Live video showing how I made the card:

I posted a copy of the video in my YouTube channel here so you can view it there if you prefer.

My card was inspired by the sketch challenge at Inspire Create Challenge #095. Here’s the pretty sketch:

I cut the three graduated poinsettia clusters from Blushing Bride card stock with the outline and the detailed embossing dies. I cut one of each of the Poinsettia Leaves from Mossy Meadow card stock with the outline dies and the detailed embossing dies. I cut the embossed solid flower center from Bumblebee and the detailed flower center from Silver foil. Before cutting the foil die cut, I applied some adhesive sheet to the back.

I gently folded the poinsettia petals backward with my fingers and adhered the petal clusters together with glue dots, ensuring the petals fell between the petals on the layer below. I peeled the adhesive sheet backing off the silver foil center and adhered the flower centers (I had trouble in the video, but this worked well on my sample card. LOL). I adhered the center to the poinsettia with glue dots. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Poinsettia Petals stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink on Mint Macaron. I trimmed the end with the Banners Pick A Punch.

I adhered the Whimsy and Wonder designer series paper panels to Mossy Meadow mats and adhered them to the front of a Mint Macaron card base with liquid glue. I adhered the Poinsettia to the card front with glue dots and adhered the label with glue dots by tucking it under the flower petals. I adhered the leaves with glue dots and tucked them under the petals too. I made a loopy bow with silver trim and adhered it with a glue dot.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the top corner of a Basic White panel with the poinsettia flower from the Stampin’ Up! Poinsettia Petals stamp set in Blushing Bride. I stamped the sentiment in Mossy Meadow and added a strip of the pretty Whimsy and Wonder DSP to the side. I adhered the panel to a Mossy Meadow mat and adhered the layered panel to the inside of the card.

I love the Stampin’ Up! Poinsettia Petals stamp set and the Poinsettia dies and the pink flower looks so pretty with the beautiful Whimsy and Wonder specialty designer series paper. This gorgeous paper has holographic silver touches throughout and is so elegant! It will be available when the new July – December 2021 Mini Catalog launches on May 3!

Stampin’ Up! Penguin Place Sneak Peek Christmas Card

Good Morning! Last Sunday I shared a sneak peek of the cute Stampin’ Up! Penguin Place bundle from the upcoming Jul-Dec 2021 Mini Catalog. Today I am sharing another Christmas card made with the set, and sharing a sneak peek of the cute Penguin Playmates designer series paper that will be available during Sale A Bration Part 2 that runs August 3, 2021 – September 30, 2021! You can find the currently available supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

Today’s card is a whimsical fun fold card with a mini card on top of a regular A2 half card base. I adhered a panel of the Penguin Playmates designer series paper (available August 3, 2021) to a Misty Moonlight card base panel. I folded the mini card at the score line and adhered it to the card base panel with Tear & Tape for a strong hold. I adhered a panel of the Penguin Playmates DSP (available August 3, 2021) on the front of the mini card.

I cut the large fancy die from the Hippo and Friends die from the Fresh Freesia snowflake Penguin Playmates DSP (available August 3, 2021) and the medium die from the dotted paper. I adhered these together with liquid glue and adhered them to the right side of the mini card. I stamped three trees from the Stampin’ Up! Penguin Place photopolymer stamp set (available August 3, 2021) in Just Jade on Basic white and adhered them to the die cut panel. I fussy cut the polar bear, fox and penguin from the Penguin Playmates DSP (available August 3, 2021) and adhered them with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Penguin Place stamp set (available August 3, 2021) in Versamark ink on a strip of Misty Moonlight and sprinkled it with white embossing powder. I shook off the excess and heat set the powder with my heat tool. I cut it out with the Messages die and adhered it to the mini card front with dimensionals. I finished the card front with three clear elegant gems and a Fresh Freesia bow.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the snowflakes from the Stampin’ Up! Penguin Place stamp set (available August 3, 2021) in Fresh Freesia ink on a Basic White mini panel. I stamped the sentiment from the Whimsical Trees stamp set (available August 3, 2021) in Misty Moonlight ink and the tree in Just Jade. I trimmed the bottom with a strip of Penguin Playmates DSP (available August 3, 2021) and adhered the panel to the inside of the mini card.

The Penguin Playmates designer series paper that will be available for Sale A Bration is so cute and compliments the Stampin’ Up! Penguin Place bundle so well! I can’t wait for August 3 when the new catalog is available and Sale A Bration starts!

Stampin’ Up! Tidings and Trimmings Christmas Card

Happy Friday! Here’s another simple Christmas Card made with the pretty Stampin’ Up! Tidings and Trimmings bundle from the July-December 2021 Annual Catalog. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered a panel of adhesive sheet to the back of the gold foil panel and cut the large detailed star from the Christmas Trimmings dies. I cut the large star from Misty Moonlight and peeled off the backing from the adhesive sheet to adhere the foil star to the Misty Moonlight star. I cut the leaf cluster from Soft Succulent and the berry cluster from gold foil.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Tidings and Trimmings stamp set in Versamark ink on the side of a Real Red panel and sprinkled it with white embossing powder. I shook off the excess and heat set the powder with my heat tool until it was shiny. I cut the label out with the largest long Stitched Rectangles die. I adhered the panel to the back of the Misty Moonlight star with glue dots.

I adhered a panel of the Christmas Tidings designer series paper to the front of a Soft Succulent card base with liquid glue and popped the label and star on top with dimensionals. I adhered the leaf and berry clusters with mini glue dots and finished the front off with three red Wonderful Gems (available August 3).

For the inside of the card, I stamped the leafy stars from the Stampin’ Up! Tidings and Trimmings photopolymer stamp set in Real red on a Basic White panel and stamped the sentiment in Soft Succulent. I adhered a strip of the Evening Evergreen DSP to the side of the panel and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Tidings and Trimmings bundle is a versatile set with stars and stockings with the Christmas foliage theme. The sentiments are wonderful and the Tidings of Christmas designer series paper is really beautiful. These products are perfect for simple handmade Christmas Cards.

Stampin’ Up! Poinsettia Petals Christmas Card

Good Morning! Do you realize that Christmas is 6 months away? It always arrives before I’m ready, so I need to start early with Christmas cards! Here is my first Christmas card for the year made with the beautiful Stampin’ Up! Poinsettia Petals photopolymer stamp set and fabulous Poinsettia dies. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I used a Blending Brush to apply Soft Succulent ink to a Basic White panel. I randomly stamped the berry sprig from the Stampin’ Up! Poinsettia Petals stamp set in Soft Suede ink on the panel. I stamped the berries in Real Red ink and then embossed the panel with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder. I adhered the panel to the right side of the front of a Soft Succulent card base. I cut the strip of striped Pansy Petals designer series paper with the Scalloped Contours die and adhered it to the right side of the card.

I one each of the three largest Poinsettia dies from Real Red card stock with the embossing insert and gently curved the petals with my fingers. I adhered the petal clusters together with liquid glue, alternating the petals so they fell between the petals in the layer below. I cut one each of the leaf dies from Soft Succulent card stock with the embossing insert. I adhered the flower and leaves to the card front with glue dots. I added three gold glitter enamel dots to the center of the flower.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Poinsettia Petals stamp set in Versamark ink on Evening Evergreen. I sprinkled it with white embossing powder and heat set the powder until it was shiny. I cut the sentiment with the Tailor Made Tags die. I adhered a Real Red bow to the end of the tag and slipped it under the flower.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the pine sprig from the Stampin’ Up! Poinsettia Petals stamp set in Evening Evergreen on the bottom and top corners of a Basic White panel. I stamped the berry sprig in Soft Suede ink in the lower corner and stamped the berries in Real Red. I stamped the sentiment in Real Red and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

I’m so glad that the gorgeous Stampin’ Up! Poinsettia Petals stamp set and dies were carries over from last year’s Holiday Catalog because these are the most beautiful poinsettias ever! And don’t the Real Red flowers look great with the new In Color greens – Evening Evergreen and Soft Succulent? One last tip – they also go beautiful with the Plush Poinsettia Specialty paper (item 153486) in the Clearance Rack!

I’m so glad to start my Christmas cards for this year. The 2021-2022 Annual Catalog has favorite holiday stamp sets as well as some new bundles so you can get started right now! The July – December 2021 Mini Catalog is ramping up with the Demonstrator Pre-Order starting July 1. It will be open for customers on August 3, 2021 along with Sale A Bration Part 2!! So there are lots of pretty Holiday items coming soon – stay tuned!!

Stampin’ Up! Arrange A Wreath Partridge Christmas Card

Good Friday Morning! I have a Christmas card to share today made with the wonderful Stampin’ Up! Arrange A Wreath bundle. This is one of my favorite bundles and I finally used it with the cute little partridge and pears for a Christmas card. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I embossed a panel of Soft Sea Foam with the Pinewood Planks 3D embossing folder and adhered it to an Old Olive mat. I cut two of the leaf wreaths using the Wreath Builder Dies from the Stampin’ Up! Arrange A Wreath bundle from Old Olive and adhered them to the card front with liquid glue. I stamped the sign post from the Stampin’ Up! Arrange A Wreath photopolymer stamp set in Soft Sea Foam ink on a Whisper White panel. I stamped the sentiment on top of it in Mossy Meadow and trimmed it with my paper snips. I popped it on the card front with dimensionals.

I stamped two sets of pears from the Stampin’ Up! Arrange A Wreath stamp set in Pear Pizzazz ink (what else?) and then used my sponge daubers to add a little Calypso Coral to the bottom and stamped them again. I stamped the partridge in Cinnamon Cider ink and then cut the bird and pears out with the coordinating dies. I cut out four little berry sprigs from gold foil and arranged them on the bottom of the wreath. I adhered the gold foil sprigs with liquid glue, the pears with glue dots and popped the partridge on with dimensionals.

I made a bow with Whisper White crinkle ribbon and adhered it with a glue dot and added some pearls around the wreath. I adhered the panel to a Thick Whisper White card base with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Peaceful Boughs stamp set in Mossy Meadow on a Whisper White panel. I stamped another partridge from the Stampin’ Up! Arrange A Wreath stamp set in Cinnamon Cider ink and cut it out with the coordinating die. I stamped some leaves in Old Olive ink in the corner and adhered the last pear and the partridge on top. I adhered the panel to an Old Olive mat and then to the inside of the card.

Another Christmas card done and it’s a sweet one made with the Stampin’ Up! Arrange A Wreath bundle. Are you done with your Christmas cards? I think I’ve got just a few more to do, and next week I need to start mailing them out! Christmas will be here before you know it. Thanks for stopping by!
