Stampin’ Up! Cutest Halloween for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good morning! Welcome to the Inkin’ Krew Monthly Blog Hop! The theme for this month’s hop is “Halloween Fun” and I’m using the Stampin’ Up! Cutest Halloween bundle for my card today. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I cut the top front off of the card base by cutting down the score line 1-3/4″ and cutting straight across the top with my paper trimmer. This left the bottom 2-1/2″ on the card front. I adhered a panel of Old Olive haunted house Cute Halloween 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to the inside of the card.

I adhered a panel of the ‘boo’ Cute Halloween 6″ x 6″ DSP to the inside front flap and I colored the candy panel for the outside front flap. I colored the candies with the Bronze, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Highland Heather and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends and then adhered the panel to the front flap. I stamped six Jack-O-Lanterns using the Stampin’ Up! Cutest Halloween photopolymer stamp set – I stamped the outlines in Memento Tuxedo Black, the solid pumpkins in Pumpkin Pie and the Jack-O-Lantern faces in Memento Tuxedo Black. I colored the stems with the Granny Apple Green Stampin Blend and punched the Jack-O-Lanterns out with Halloween Punch.

I adhered the Jack-O-Lanterns across the top of the front flap with glue dots and dimensionals (the one in the middle and the two ends). I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Cutest Halloween stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black on Old Olive and cut it out with the Messages die. I adhered it to the card front with glue dots.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Cutest Halloween in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the little spider in the corner and adhered the panel to the bottom of the inside of the card. I adhered the last Jack-O-Lantern to the front flap next to the inside panel. I stamped the little ghost outline in Smoky Slate on Basic White and the face and arms in stamped off Highland Heather. I punched out the ghost with the Halloween Punch and adhered it to the top of the inside with dimensionals. I finished the card with iridescent stars.

I also used the Stampin’ Up! Cutest Halloween bundle to decorate a little Halloween treat box made with the Pretty Pillowbox dies. It’s so cute and really puts me in the trick-or-treatin’ mood!

Stampin’ Up! Blackberry Beauty Birthday Card Video Tutorial

Good Morning! Today I am sharing the card that I made yesterday afternoon during my Facebook Live. I used the pretty Stampin’ Up! Blackberry Beauty Ephemera pack and the Blackberry Beauty specialty designer series paper for another masculine card, this time a birthday card! Don’t you love that owl!! You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

Here is the Facebook Live video showing how I made the card:

I posted a copy of the video in my YouTube channel here so you can view it there if you prefer.

I adhered a panel of Blackberry Beauty designer series paper to a Blackberry Bliss mat and popped it on the front of a Cinnamon Cider card base. I adhered two of the gold leaf clusters from the Stampin’ Up! Blackberry Beauty Ephemera Pack to the DSP with liquid glue.

I stamped the sentiment from the Garden Birdhouses photopolymer stamp set in Blackberry Bliss on the large tag from the Stampin’ Up! Blackberry Beauty Ephemera Pack. I looped a short length of faux suede ribbon through the tag hole and tied it with gold twine. I adhered the pretty owl cut out to the tag with dimensionals.

I adhered the tag to the card front with dimensionals and trimmed the ribbon ends. I finished the card with brushed metallic dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the little bird from the Beauty of Tomorrow cling stamp set using Cinnamon Cider ink in the upper corner of a Basic White panel. I stamped the sentiment from the Garden Birdhouses stamp set in Blackberry Bliss and trimmed the bottom with a strip of Stampin’ Up! Blackberry Beauty specialty designer series paper. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up Blackberry Beauty Ephemera Pack has so many pretty fall cut outs – oak leaves and flowers and the beautiful owls. There are also fun labels and frames in addition to the tags. And many of the pieces have touches of gold foil to add elegance to your fall projects. So if you’re looking for a quick and easy but elegant card this fall, be sure to check out the Blackberry Beauty Ephemera Pack.

Stampin’ Up! Beauty of Tomorrow Card

Good Morning! I have a fun little masculine card made with the Stampin’ Up! Beauty of Tomorrow bundle along with the Blackberry Beauty Ephemera pack. The ephemera pack has some awesome printed cut out images, labels and other card elements that go with the Beauty of Tomorrow stamp set and Blackberry Beauty specialty designer series paper. They’re beautiful and great for fast and easy card making. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I embossed a panel of Early Espresso card stock with the Bark 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the front of an Early Espresso card base. I popped out the Cinnamon Cider and Gold foil frame from the Blackberry Beauty Ephemera pack and adhered it to the card front with liquid glue.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Beauty of Tomorrow cling stamp set in Versamark ink on Cinnamon Cider and sprinkled it with white embossing powder. I shook off the excess and heated it with my heat tool until it was shiny. I cut it out with the long label die from the Seasonal Labels dies. I folded a length of a length of Fine Arts ribbon securing it with a glue dot and adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Seal. I popped the die cut sentiment over the ribbon with dimensionals and finished it with a gold brushed metallic dot.

I die cut some oak leaves from the Beautiful Leaves dies in the Stampin’ Up! Beauty of Tomorrow bundle from Cinnamon Cider and gold foil and adhered one of each under the label and ribbon. I popped out and adhered the large oak leaf cluster from the Blackberry Beauty Ephemera pack to the card front with dimensionals.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Beauty of Tomorrow stamp set in Early Espresso ink on a Basic White panel. I adhered some of the die cut oak leaves to the bottom and adhered the panel to a Cinnamon Cider mat before adhering it to the inside of the card.

I love these sentiments from the Stampin’ Up! Beauty of Tomorrow stamp set! What a unique way to tell someone that they are special and that you like and care about them! And I think that the Bark 3D embossing folder and oak leaves make this a great masculine card, even with some shiny gold.

Join me for a Facebook Live This Afternoon!

I’m planning to go live on my Facebook Page at 1:00 ET today. I will be using this bundle and the Blackberry Beauty Ephemera pack to make another quick and easy card! Look forward to seeing you then!

Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Harvest Thank You for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! I pulled out the pretty Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Harvest bundle again for today’s card and I combined it with the pretty Sale A Bration Be Dazzling specialty paper for a sparkling thank you card. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

We have a theme challenge this week with the theme of Autumn/Harvest:

I also entered my card into the Sunday Stamps SSC265 Sunflower Dreams Challenge. I substituted coneflowers for Sunflowers, but I did use all the pretty fall colors:

I embossed a Very Vanilla panel with the Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder and used a blending brush to lightly apply Soft Succulent ink to the top. I adhered it to a Soft Succulent mat. Then I embossed a Soft Succulent panel with the same embossing folder and applied Soft Suede ink around the edges. I cut a frame from the Be Dazzling specialty paper and two of the Stitched Rectangles dies and adhered the Soft Succulent embossed panel to the back and adhered them both to the Very Vanilla embossed panel with liquid glue. I adhered the panel to the front of a Cajun Craze card base with dimensionals.

I stamped the large coneflowers from the Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Harvest cling stamp set in Soft Suede ink on Very Vanilla card stock and cut it out with the coordinating die from the Harvest Dies. I colored the flowers with Soft Suede, Cinnamon Cider, Cajun Craze and Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends. I colored the stems with the Soft Succulent Stampin’ Blends. I cut Bumblebee card stock with the wheat die and adhered it to the card front with glue dots. I adhered the flowers on top with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Harvest stamp set in Soft Suede on Very Vanilla and cut it out with the small label die. I adhered it to the card front with glue dots, tucking it under the flowers. I made a bow with Bumblebee gingham ribbon and adhered it with glue dots and finished the front with three champagne rhinestones.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Harvest stamp set in stamped off Soft Suede ink on the side of a Very Vanilla panel. I embossed another strip of Soft Succulent card stock with the Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder and applied Soft Suede ink with a blending brush. I adhered the strip to the bottom of the Very Vanilla panel and adhered the panel to the inside of the card. And since the flower image is so pretty, I decided to stamp the front of a Very Vanilla medium envelope to match.

The Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Harvest bundle is one of my favorites and doesn’t the Be Dazzling specialty paper make it pop? I should have thought a little more because this would have been the perfect background for a special Fall birthday card. I guess I’ll just have to make another one.

Stampin’ Up! Pretty Pumpkins Video Tutorial

Good Morning and Happy Labor Day! I hope that you are able to enjoy a long weekend and have another day off! For my Facebook Live yesterday afternoon, I used the wonderful Stampin’ Up! Pretty Pumpkins bundle to make a Thankful for You card in Crumb Cake and Soft Succulent. Touches of Rose Gold and copper give it some subtle sparkle to make it special. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

Here is the Facebook Live video showing how I made the card:

I posted a copy of the video in my YouTube channel here so you can view it there if you prefer.

I adhered a panel Soft Succulent Harvest Meadow designer series paper to a panel of Crumb Cake paper and adhered the layered DSP to a Rose Gold Metallic mat. I popped the panel on the front of a Crumb Cake card base with dimensionals.

I applied some adhesive sheets to the back of a panel of Rose Gold Metallic paper and cut it with the large pumpkin from the Detailed Pumpkins dies. I peeled the backing sheet off and adhered the die cut pumpkin to the card front. I cut some pumpkin leaves from Soft Succulent and adhered them to the top of the pumpkin with glue dots. I applied some Stampin’ Seal next to the pumpkin and adhered some soft succulent ribbon to the card front and trimmed the ribbon ends.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Pretty Pumpkins stamp set in Versamark ink on a Crumb Cake panel and sprinkled it with copper embossing powder. I shook off the excess powder and heat set the sentiment with my heat tool. After cooling, I cut out the sentiment with the Tasteful Labels die and adhered it over the ribbon with dimensionals. I added three brushed copper dots to finish the card front.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the pumpkin trio from the Stampin’ Up! Pretty Pumpkins stamp set in stamped off Soft Succulent ink on a Basic White Panel. I stamped the sentiment from the Handsomely Suited stamp set next to the pumpkins in Crumb Cake and trimmed the bottom with Harvest Meadow DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up Pretty Pumpkins bundle is just wonderful! I love coloring the stamped images and there are dies to cut them all out. The sentiments are beautiful and perfect for fall and the extra pumpkin dies in the make beautiful pieces of art!

Stampin’ Up! Gorgeous Leaves for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! Can you believe that it’s September already! Since it is, I had to get the Stampin’ Up! Gorgeous Leaves bundle to make fall cards. Boy, am I glad I did the leaves really are gorgeous and the dies are beautiful too! You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

We have a sketch challenge this week for our Blog Hop and here’s the pretty card sketch we’re using:

I adhered a panel of the woodgrain Beauty of the Earth designer series paper to the front of an Early Espresso Card base. I stamped the wood grain stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Gorgeous Leaves cling stamp set in PoolParty ink all over a Basic White panel. I stamped both in full strength and stamped off so that it fades in and out. Then I randomly stamped the leaves in Bumblebee, Cajun Craze and Cinnamon Cider – I love how the leaves have speckles around them!

The Stampin’ Up! Gorgeous Leaves stamp set has two spatter stamps – one with large spatters and the one I used, with fine spatters. I inked the small spatter stamp with Early Espresso ink and stamped around the panel, both full strength and stamped off until I got the look I wanted. I embossed the panel with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder and adhered it to an Early Espresso mat and then to the card front.

I cut the large detailed leaf from the Intricate Leaves dies from the Sale A Bration Be Dazzle specialty paper and colored it with the Cajun Craze Stampin’ Blend. I cut two smaller detailed leaves from Bumblebee and Early Espresso and adhered the leaves to the card with glue dots. I adhered a bow made with a double strand of Linen Thread and stamped the sentiment from the Love of Leaves photopolymer stamp set in Cajun Craze ink on Pool Party. I trimmed the ends of the sentiment with the Banners Pick A Punch and adhered it to the card front with dimensionals. I finished it with a copper Brushed Metallic dot.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the leaves from the Stampin’ Up! Gorgeous Leaves stamp set in stamped off Cinnamon Cider on a Basic White panel. I stamped and embossed a strip of Basic White just like the art panel on the card front and adhered it to the bottom of the panel. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Gorgeous Leaves bundle is a wonderful bundle for making fall cards. The stamped images are so realistic and beautiful and the dies are fabulous. This is one of my favorite leaf stamps of all time!

Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Deer Rustic Christmas Card Video Tutorial

Good Morning! Today I have a rustic Christmas Card made with the Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Deer bundle and the Sale A Bration Peaceful Prints designer series paper. And I used them to make a fun fold card called a Joy Fold card during my Facebook Live yesterday afternoon. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

Here is the Facebook Live video showing how I made the card:

I posted a copy of the video in my YouTube channel here so you can view it there if you prefer.

The Joy Fold card is like a double card with a smaller card on top of a regular size card. It’s great because it provides a lot of surfaces for decorating with pretty designer series papers, die cuts, punch outs and stamped designs.

I adhered the Garden Green tree print from the Peaceful Prints DSP to the inside of the inside large card and the Sahara Sand small deer print to the inside flap. I traced the back of the right facing deer and used it as a guide to punch out the deer from the Peaceful Prints DSP using the deer punch from the Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Deer bundle. I adhered the deer to the inside of the large flap. I adhered the Garden Green snowflake panel to the outside of the large card flap. I adhered the Real Red plaid snowflake Peaceful Prints DSP to the outside front of the small card and the diagonal stripe to the inside.

I cut the second largest octagon die from the Hippo and Friends die from Basic White and embossed it with the snowflakes from the Wintry 3D embossing folder. I punched the left facing prancing deer from the Peaceful Prints DSP along with another Deer from Basie White and adhered them together. I trimmed the end of the Real Red strip with the Banners Pick A Punch and stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Deer stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I adhered the banner to the embossed panel with Glue Dots and adhered the deer with Dimensionals.

I adhered the small card to the inside of the large card using Tear & Tape. I stamped the deer from the Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Deer photopolymer stamp set in Sahara Sand ink in the lower corner of the Basic White pane. I stamped the medium trees in Garden Green and the sentiment in Real Red. I adhered the panel to the inside of the small card. I used the small circle dies from the Gingerbread dies to cut out a snowflake from the Peaceful Prints DSP and adhered it to a Real Red die cut circle and adhered it to the large card front with dimensionals. This is to tuck the front flap in and is purely optional. I finished the card with a gingham bow and red matte dots.

The Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Deer stamp bundle has so many sweet deer and woodland images and the punch is perfect. It coordinates perfectly with the Sale A Bration Peaceful Prints designer series paper that you can choose for free with a $50 purchase for a rustic Christmas look.

Stampin’ Up! Art in Bloom Thank You for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! My Thank You card for today uses the Stampin’ Up! Art In Bloom bundle. This bundle has a hybrid embossing folder that combines a 3D embossing folder with dies that allow you to emboss and cut in one step! You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

We have a color challenge this week for our Blog Hop and here’s the color palette we’re using:

I adhered strip of Misty Moonlight Harvest Meadow designer series paper to the Bumblebee Harvest Meadow panel and adhered them both to a Crumb Cake mat. I adhered the panel to the front of a Misty Moonlight card base with dimensionals.

I used my blending brush to apply Calypso Coral ink to a Basic White panel and stamped it with the flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Art In Bloom photopolymer stamp set using Calypso Coral ink. This stamp has all three flowers on a single stamp! Then I inserted the die into the Bloom hybrid embossing folder and carefully aligned my flowers with the die and embossing folder and ran it through my die cutting machine. I love how I get embossed flowers after die cutting! I adhered two of the flowers onto the card front with glue dots and the top one with dimensionals. I cut three sets of detailed leaves dies from Soft Succulent and adhered them with glue dots, tucking them under the flowers.

I stamped the sentiment from the Biggest Wish photopolymer stamp set in Misty Moonlight ink on a Crumb Cake panel and cut it out with the second smallest Tailor Made Tags dies. I cut a reinforcement from Misty Moonlight and adhered it before looping a length of Crumb Cake twine through the hole and tying a bow. I adhered the tag to the card front with glue dots and finished it with three adhesive sequins.

For the inside of the card, I stamped bits of the flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Art In Bloom stamp set in the corners of a Basic White panel with Calypso Coral ink. I cut some masks from printer paper and covered the flowers and stamped the leaves in Soft Succulent. I adhered a strip of Bumblebee Harvest Meadows DSP to the bottom and adhered the panel to a Crumb Cake mat before adhering the panel to the inside of the card.

The flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Art In Bloom bundle make it so easy to make a pretty bouquet of flowers to go with any color palette. And when they’re embossed, it make your card extra special!

Stampin’ Up! Whimsical Trees Christmas Card

Happy Wednesday! Did you realize that it’s four months until Christmas? I have about 50 Christmas cards to make and I have barely made a dent. Today’s card should help – it’s an elegant and sparkly card made with the Stampin’ Up! Whimsical Trees bundle and it’s pretty easy to make. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I embossed a panel of Pearlescent specialty paper with the Merry Melody 3D embossing folder. I love the musical theme for Christmas cards, but this embossing folder will cause a little shrinkage after embossing, so I use a paper 1/8″ longer than I need and I trim it with my paper trimmer after it’s been embossed and it fits perfect! Another thing to keep in mind is that you want to check the clefs to make sure your embossed panel isn’t upside down or backwards. After trimming it, I adhered the embossed panel to the front of a Thick Very Vanilla card base. And I also heard that the music is to Joy to the World – perfect for a Christmas card!

I cut the largest tree from the Christmas Trees dies from the Stampin’ Up! Whimsical Trees bundle from the gold metallic specialty paper. I cut two of the detailed trees, one from the Be Dazzling specialty paper, A Sale A Bration item that is free with a $50 purchase before shipping and taxes, and one from the gold Brushed Metallic foil. I adhered them to the card front with mini glue dots.

I cut a short length of Cherry Cobbler and gold metallic ribbon, tied a knot and trimmed the ends, and adhered it to the bottom of the card with glue dots. I finished the front with three gold glitter dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Whimsical Trees cling stamp set in Sahara Sand ink on a Very Vanilla panel. I cut a small tree from Be Dazzling specialty paper and adhered it next to the sentiment and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The dies from the Stampin’ Up! Whimsical Trees bundle have a wild, freeform feel that is especially elegant with shiny foils and specialty papers. The three different texture shiny papers go well together and are great paired with the Pearlescent paper background. And it is so quick and easy to make!

Stampin’ Up! Christmas Season Video Tutorial

Good Morning! Yesterday afternoon during my weekly Facebook Live, I used the the pretty Stampin’ Up! Christmas Season bundle to make Christmas card. The Painted Christmas designer series paper has a pretty print that matches the stamps and die cuts in this pretty bundle perfectly, so I used it for the background of my card. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

Here is the Facebook Live video showing how I made the card:

I posted a copy of the video in my YouTube channel here so you can view it there if you prefer.

I adhered a panel the colorful Painted Christmas designer series paper to the front of a Real Red card base. I cut an Evening Evergreen panel with the large label die from the Stampin’ Up! Christmas Season bundle and embossed it with the pine needles embossing folder from the Wintry 3D Embossing folders. I adhered it to the center of the card front.

I stamped the long leaf cluster from the Stampin’ Up! Christmas Season photopolymer stamp set in Garden Green, the berry Cluster in Garden Green and Real Red, the small leaf cluster in Soft Sea Foam and the small pinecone in Crumb Cake and Soft Suede. I cut these out with the coordinating dies and adhered them to the card front with glue dots.

I stamped the leaf cluster from the Stampin’ Up! Christmas Season stamp set in Soft Sea Foam on a small basic White panel. I stamped the sentiment from the Christmas To Remember cling stamp set in Real Red ink on top of the leaf and cut it out with the label die. I adhered the label to the card with dimensionals and finished the card front with a Cherry Cobbler and Gold ribbon bow and three gilded gems.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the leaf cluster from the Stampin’ Up! Christmas Season stamp set in Soft Sea Foam on a Basic White panel. I stamped the sentiment from the Christmas to remember stamp set over the leaves in Real Red and trimmed the bottom with a strip of Painted Christmas DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up Christmas Season bundle has so many pretty holiday greenery images that all have coordinating dies, making it real easy to make decorative greenery arrangements for cards, tags and gift packages. And the label dies are very versatile and can be used with many other stamp sets that have sentiments.
