Stampin’ Up! Hello Ladybug Smile Card

Happy Friday! Last weekend I used the Stampin’ Up! Hello Ladybug bundle to make a fun fold card for my Facebook Live and I’m using it again for a friendship and encouragement card for today. The ladybug is so cute and the other stamps in the photopolymer stamp set give you lots of options for your card designs. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I started cutting out a panel of Basic White with the second largest Scalloped Contours die and adhering a panel of the pretty Sale-A-Bration Sunshine and Rainbows designer series paper to it with liquid glue. I adhered the panel to the front of a Pool Party card base. I stamped the large leaf from the Stampin’ Up! Hello Ladybug stamp set in Granny Apple Green on a Basic White panel and fussy cut it out with my paper snips. I adhered it to the card front.

I stamped 3 large flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Hello Ladybug stamp set in Daffodil Delight on Basic White and punched them out with the Medium Daisy Punch. I adhered them together with liquid glue and added an iridescent gemstone to the center before adhering them to the card front with a dimensional. I punched the ladybug body from Pattern Party DSP and Basic Black card stock and adhered them together. I stamped the wings in Real Red, punched them out with the Butterfly Builder punch and adhered them to the butterfly body. I added black matte dots to the wings and adhered the ladybug to the card front with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Real Red on Basic White and cut it out with the Tasteful Labels die. I adhered the label to the card front with liquid glue, tucking it under the leaf. I finished the card with a black and white twine bow.

I stamped the small bunch of flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Hello Ladybug stamp set in Daffodil Delight ink in the corners of a Basic White panel and the sweet sentiment from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Real Red. I trimmed the bottom with a strip of Sunshine and Rainbows DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Hello Ladybug bundle is so cute and versatile. It’s perfect for many occasions, so be sure to check it out! Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

Stampin’ Up! Gumball Greetings Valentine

Good Morning! Monday is Valentine’s Day – Do you have all your Valentines ready? I pulled out the Stampin’ Up! Gumball Greetings stamp set and a bunch of die sets to pull together this pretty Valentine for my sweetie. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered a panel of the heart design Pattern Party Host designer series paper to a Bermuda Bay mat and adhered them to a Basic White note card with liquid glue. I cut a Basic White panel with the second largest scalloped rectangle from the Stitched So Sweetly dies and layered my die cuts on top.

I cut the scalloped circle and stitched heart from Real Red using the Give It a Whirl dies. This die set has some wonderful stitched shapes in addition to the spinning wheel – clouds, stars and hearts, so be sure to check it out. I also cut Pumpkin Pie, Bermuda Bay and Granny Apple Green panels with the smallest stitched heart die for accents. I cut a Basic White panel with the third smallest Layering Circles die and embossed it with the Ornate Floral embossing folder. And I cut the Love You from the Love You More Than dies from Real Red card stock.

I adhered the words on the scalloped rectangle die cut with small dots of liquid glue along with the embossed circle. I adhered the scalloped circle over the embossed circle with dimensionals and centered the large stitched heart in the center. I adhered the small stitched hearts over the sentiment and adhered the scalloped rectangle to the card front with liquid glue.

I was going to stamp the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Gumball Greetings stamp set on the inside of the note card, but I dropped the inked stamp, messing up the inside. So I stamped the sentiment on a Basic White panel in Real Red and adhered it to a Bermuda Bay mat and adhered that to the inside of the note card, covering my mess. I have to do this way to often, and I find that using a mat under your Basic White panel really helps to cover stray ink marks – plus it gives a nice frame for your writing area!

The note cards are the perfect size for Valentines, and there are so many stamp and die sets that you can pull elements from for making a card for your sweeties if you don’t have a dedicated Valentine’s Day set. The Stampin’ Up! Gumball Greetings stamp set has the perfect sentiment (in addition to the fabulous gumball machine) and it even has some small sentiments that go with the holiday. So get creative and finish up your Valentines because everyone can use a little love note!

Stampin’ Up! All Squared Away for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good morning! Welcome to the February Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop! The theme for this month’s hop is “Birthday” and I used the Stampin’ Up! All Squared Away bundle to make a colorful floral Birthday card. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered a panel of striped Pattern Party Host special designer series paper to a Granny Apple Green mat with liquid glue and wrapped it with white crinkle ribbon and made a bow on the side. I adhered it to the front of a Flirty Flamingo card base with dimensionals.

I cut a small Flirty Flamingo panel with the two flower dies from the Floral Squares dies that come in the Stampin’ Up! All Squared Away bundle. I cut a small Granny Apple Green Panel with the square die and adhered the two Flirty Flamingo floral die cuts to the square die cut to make the pink flowers on green stems.

I cut small slivers of dimensionals to put around the Granny Apple Green die cut frame and behind the flowers and leaves and adhered the die cut to the card front. I finished the card with three Pool Party iridescent sequins.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! All Squared Away stamp set in Granny Apple Green on a Basic White panel. I cut the small flowers from Bumblebee and adhered them next to the sentiment and trimmed the bottom of the panel with a strip of the striped Pattern Party DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! All Squared Away bundle is really sweet with the graphic floral die cuts, and so easy to use. I didn’t used the background stamps, but they would be awesome to add additional texture when stamped on the die cuts or as a background for the die cuts. And popping these cute little squares on dimensionals makes any card special!

Stampin’ Up! Blessings of Home Thank You Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Blessings of Home bundle is one of the prettiest floral sets in the new Jan-Jun Mini Catalog with vintage dainty florals and coordinating dies. I used the bundle with the beautiful Heart & Home designer series paper, the Scalloped Contours dies and the sweet little thank you sentiment and tag from the Hydrangea Haven bundle. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I cut a panel of Garden Green Heart & Home designer series paper with the large scalloped border die from the Scalloped Contours dies and adhered it to another panel of Heart & Home designer series paper. I adhered the layered panel to a Basic White mat and adhered it to the front of a Pale Papaya card base.

I stamped the small floral bouquet from the Stampin’ Up! Blessings of Home cling stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a panel of Shimmery White card stock. I colored the image with my water painters and Garden Green, Daffodil Delight, Cinnamon Cider, and Fresh Freesia inks. I was careful not let the water painters get too moist since I was not using Stazon ink. After the inks dried, I cut the flower out with the coordinating die. I cut a Basic White panel with the Scalloped Contours die and used a blending brush to apply some Pool Party ink to the background. I cut two of the Flowers of Home dies from Fresh Freesia and adhered them to the panel with liquid glue and popped the watercolored bouquet on top with dimensionals.

I popped the art piece on the front of the card with dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment from the Hydrangea Haven stamp set in Versamark ink on a Garden Green panel and sprinkled it with white embossing powder. I shook off the excess and heat set the powder with my heat tool until it was shiny. I cut it out with the tag die and popped it on the card front with dimensionals. I added a white baker’s twine bow and finished the card front with Genial Gems.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the small floral bouquet from the Stampin’ Up! Blessings of Home stamp set in Memento Tuxedo black in the corners of a Basic White panel. I adhered a strip of Heart & Home DSP to the bottom and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

I love the Stampin’ Up! Blessings of Home bundle! It has a vintage, shabby chic feel that is pretty, sweet and feminine!

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Notes of Cheer card kit is one of the kits in the Stampin’ Up! Kits Collection and it’s one that doesn’t require any stamping! It’s perfect for when you’re short on time or for beginning card makers. I made some of the cards in the kit with my grandchildren and it was fun. Here’s the video by Stampin’ Up! featuring Stampin’ Up! CEO Sara Douglass showing how to put together each card according to the directions.

And the Stampin’ Up! Kits Collection just added a new kit to make Birthday cards called Light the Candles!

This kit is a stamping kit and it comes with a cute photopolymer stamp set and Coastal Cabana Stampin’ Spot. Check it out:

  • Kit contains enough supplies to create 8 cards—4 each of 2 designs—and 8 coordinating envelopes.
  • Includes printed card bases, printed die cuts, adhesive, embellishments, and a clear block.

Stampin’ Up! Honeybee Home Miss You Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Honeybee Home bundle is one of the prettiest sets of floral stamps and dies. I paired it with the pretty Heart & Home designer series paper and Many Messages stamp to make a simple card. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered a panel of Heart & Home designer series paper to a Basic White mat and adhered them both to the front of Fresh Freesia card base. I cut another panel of Heart & Home DSP with the Stitched Rectangle die and adhered it to a garden green mat with liquid glue.

I stamped the floral image from the Stampin’ Up! Honeybee Home cling stamp set in Basic Gray ink and colored it with Stampin’ Blends. I used Fresh Freesia on the flowers and the leaves with Light Shaded Spruce and Light Mossy Meadow – this gives me a color that is real close to Garden Green. I cut the flower out with the coordinating die and popped it on the card front with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Many Messages cling stamp in Evening Evergreen and cut it out with the Stitched Rectangle die. I adhered it to the card front with dimensionals and finished the card with three brass butterflies and a white baker’s twine bow.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Honeybee Home stamp set in Evening Evergreen on a Basic White panel. I cut a Fresh Freesia panel with the floral die from the Honeybee Blooms dies and adhered it to the bottom of the panel with liquid glue. I adhered a strip of Heart & Home DSP to the bottom and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Honeybee Home bundle is part of the Heart & Home Suite with pretty florals and fresh Shabby Chic designs that are perfect for many occasions. The sentiments in the stamp set are beautiful and there are a variety of sweet floral dies that are great with a variety of card making artistic techniques.

Stampin’ Up! Rainbow of Happiness Birthday Card Sneak Peek

Good Morning! One of the sweetest bundles in the upcoming January – June 2022 Mini Catalog is the Stampin’ Up! Rainbow of Happiness bundle. And for the Jan-Feb 2022 Sale-A-Bration, there’s a package of coordinating 6″ x 6″ designer series paper called Sunshine and Rainbows that you can get for FREE with a $50 order before shipping and taxes. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

And I’m joining some of the ladies on the Inkin’ Krew Team in a Blog Hop to celebrate the upcoming Jan-Jun 2022 Mini Catalog and Jan-Feb 2022 Sale-A-Bration! So be sure to check out everyone’s projects to get inspiration on using these exciting new products!

I used the rainbow border die from the Stampin’ Up! Rainbow of Happiness bundle to cut two strips of Basic White and adhered them to the top and bottom of a strip of Sunshine & Rainbows 6″ x 6″ designer series paper. I adhered the strip to the front of a striped panel of Sunshine & Rainbows 6″ x 6″ designer series paper and then adhered the layered panel to a Magenta Madness mat. I popped the layered DSP panel onto the front of a Bermuda Bay card base with dimensionals.

I cut Pool Party Sunshine & Rainbows DSP panel with the largest Hippo & Friends die and used the rainbow die from the Stampin’ Up! Rainbow Of Happiness bundle to cut rainbows bands from Magenta Madness, So Saffron, Granny Apple Green and Bermuda Bay card stock. I cut clouds from Basic White using the Brilliant Rainbows dies and adhered the rainbow bands to the back of the cards with Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the clouds and rainbows to the Pool Party DSP die cut with dimensionals, cutting skinny strips of dimensionals to place behind the rainbow bands. I adhered the layered die cut to the card front with liquid glue.

I trimmed the ends of a Granny Apple Green strip with the Banners Pick a Punch and stamped the sentiment from the Turtle Friends stamp set in Versamark Ink. I sprinkled it with white embossing powder, shook off the excess and heat set the powder with my heat tool until shiny. I adhered the label to the card front with dimensionals.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the rainbow bands and sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Rainbow Of Happiness stamp set in Magenta Madness, So Saffron, Granny Apple Green and Bermuda Bay in the lower corner of a Basic White panel. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Rainbow Of Happiness stamp bundle is so sweet, with uplifting sentiments and fun rainbow stamps and dies. Here’s a picture of the Rainbow of Happiness photopolymer stamp set and and Brilliant Rainbow dies in the bundle:

And here’s a picture of the pretty Sunshine and Rainbows 6″ x 6″ designer series paper that is Free with a $50 order (before shipping and taxes) during Sale-A-Bration:

Stampin’ Up! Honeybee Home Sneak Peek

Good Morning! Today I have another sneak peek of a new bundle from the upcoming January – June 2022 Mini Catalog that will be available on Jan 4, 2022 – the Stampin’ Up! Honeybee Home bundle! I’m also using the new Hive 3D embossing folder and the pretty new Heart & Home designer series paper that will also be available. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I embossed a panel of Pale Papaya designer series paper with the new Hive 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a Pale Papaya card base. I wrapped a length of white crinkle ribbon around the card front, tying a bow on the side. I cut a panel of Heart & Home designer series paper with a Layering Circle die and adhered it to a Cinnamon Cider die cut scalloped circle and adhered it to the card front with liquid glue.

I cut a Fresh Freesia panel with two floral sprigs from the Honeybee Blooms dies and a Soft Succulent panel with two grass clumps. I adhered the floral sprig and grass clump die cuts to the DSP panel with liquid glue. I stamped the flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Honeybee Home cling stamp set in Basic Gray ink twice on Basic Gray and colored it with Pale Papaya and Soft Succulent Stampin’ Blends. I cut them out with the coordinating dies and popped them on the card front with dimensionals.

I stamped the pretty sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Honeybee Home stamp set in Basic Gray ink on a Soft Succulent panel and cut it out with the Messages die. I adhered it to the card front with dimensionals and glue dots. I finished off the card front with Basic Gray Matte Dots (available Jan 4, 2022).

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Honeybee Home stamp set in Basic Gray on a Basic White panel. I stamped the little bee in the top corner and the flowers in the lower corner, also in Basic Gray. I colored the flowers like the front and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Honeybee Home bundle is such a pretty set with soft images and beautiful sentiments that is part of the Heart & Home Suite in the new January – June 2022 Mini Catalog. These products will be available on January 4, 2022 when the catalog goes live and they’re sure to become favorites!

Here’s a picture of my card with the stamp set, embossing folder and DSP I used.

Stampin’ Up! Welcoming Woods Winter Birthday Card

Happy Saturday! The Stampin’ Up! Welcoming Woods stamp set is one of the prettiest woodland stamp sets and it’s great for all seasons. And it has lots of sentiments that use the prettiest font that are appropriate for lots of occasions. Today’s card is an elegant Birthday Card with an embossed snowy scene that is perfect for winter birthdays. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered a panel of Peaceful Place specialty designer series paper to the front of a Basic Gray card base with liquid glue. I tore a couple of sticky notes to create a mask for a snowy ground and adhered them to the bottom of a Basic White panel, covering the bottom 1″ of the panel. I used blending brushes to apply Balmy Blue and Misty Moonlight ink to the top of the panel over the mask to color the sky – I love how the snowy ground reveals itself when you remove the masks.

I stamped the trees from the Stampin’ Up! Welcoming Woods photopolymer stamp set in Basic Gray so that the tree tops cover the panel top. I stamped it twice, getting a thin tree trunk on the right side, but you could center it more if you want. I let it dry for a couple of hours and then stamped the snowflakes all over the image in Versamark ink. I sprinkled the image with white embossing powder and shook off the excess. I heated the powder with my heat tool until shiny and then adhered the image to a Basic Gray mat with liquid glue.

I folded a short length of Smoky slate ribbon and adhered it to the top right back of the layered stamped panel with glue dots. I adhered the panel to the front of the card with dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Welcoming Woods stamp set in Versamark ink and sprinkled it with white embossing powder. I shook off the excess and heated the powder with my heat tool until shiny. I used the Messages die to cut out the sentiment and adhered it to the front of the card with dimensionals. I finished the card with three blue gems.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the snowflakes from the Stampin’ Up! Welcoming Woods stamp set in Basic Gray in the top corner of a Basic White panel. I adhered a strip of Peaceful Place specialty designer series paper to the bottom of the panel and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Welcoming Woods stamp set is such a pretty stamp set and it’s on the retiring list, so get it before it’s gone! So I just noticed that the Peaceful Place specialty designer series paper just sold out and is no longer available. So instead of having a gray plaid background for the scene which reminds me of a warm flannel shirt (and you may have some other retired gray plaid papers in your stash), you could use a wood themed embossing folder such as the Timber 3D or Bark 3D folders on a Basic Gray panel. Or perhaps use the Birch background stamp in Basic Gray ink on Smoky Slate card stock. The Welcoming Woods stamp set would go well against any of these backgrounds!

Stampin’ Up! Frosted Gingerbread Shaker Cards

Good Morning! I’ve been real busy getting ready for Christmas, and most of my cards are done – I’ve even started sending some out in the mail! My last few cards are these cute shaker cards made with the Stampin’ Up! Frosted Gingerbread bundle. This bundle is on the retiring list, so if you want to duplicate these cards, pick it up while you can! You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered a panel of Gingerbread & Peppermint 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to the front of a Basic White Note Card – the size of the note card is perfect for the round shaker and die cut cookies from the Stampin’ Up! Frosted Gingerbread bundle. Using the second largest Layering Circle die, I positioned the circle and the cookie outline die on a DSP panel and ran it through my die cutting machine. I used the same circle die to cut out another DSP panel and window sheet.

I cut out a cookie from the Gingerbread & Peppermint 6″ x 6″ DSP and adhered it to the solid circle die cut, using the die cut circle with the cookie cutout as a guide. I cut out a scalloped circle from Real Red (or Old Olive) card stock using the second largest scalloped circle from the Layering Circles dies and adhere the circle with the cookie cutout to the scalloped circle. I lined up the cookie die on the cutout and ran it through my die cutting machine again to cut through the scalloped circle. I used Tear & Tape to adhere the die cut window sheet to the back of the scalloped circle.

I put foam adhesive strip around the second die cut Gingerbread & Peppermint DSP die cut circle with the ornament adhered to it and filled it with red, green and yellow sequins and acrylic Gingerbread & peppermint shapes. The adhesive strips are thicker than ordinary dimensionals, so they allow the items to move nicely when shaken. I removed the backing from the adhesive strips and adhered the layered window sheet with scalloped circle & DSP cut out on top, pressing on the adhesive strips to get a good seal. I adhered the shaker to the card front with liquid glue. I stamped part of the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Frosted Gingerbread photopolymer stamp set in Real Red on Basic White and cut it out with the second smallest scalloped rectangle from the Stitched So Sweetly dies. I adhered it to the card front with dimensionals and finished it with a red ruffled bow.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Frosted Gingerbread stamp set in Real Red on a Basic White panel (note that I first stamped it on the note card directly, but messed it up, so I needed to fix that – easy!). I adhered it to a Real Red mat and then adhered it to the inside of the card.

Shaker Cards are so much fun and the Stampin’ Up! Frosted Gingerbread bundle is a great way to add sweetness to the fun with the festive holiday gingerbread and peppermint theme. I know this was kind of long, so let me know if you have any questions. These shakers would also be great for making tree ornaments or gift tags.
