Stampin’ Up! Country Flowers for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good Morning! Welcome to the April Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop! The theme for this month’s hop is “For the Ladies/Girls” and I used the some retiring products to make a Mother’s Day Card, including the pretty Stampin’ Up! Country Flowers bundle and the Countryside Inn designer series paper. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

I adhered a panel striped panel of the retiring Countryside Inn designer series paper to a Misty Moonlight mat with liquid glue. I adhered it to a floral panel of the Countryside Inn DSP and then adhered the layered DSP to the front of a Boho Blue card base. Boho Blue is one of the retiring 2023-3035 In Colors.

I stamped teapot and flowers from the retiring Stampin’ Up! Country Flowers stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Basic White and cut them out with the coordinating dies. I colored the teapot with light Boho Blue Stampin’ Blend, shading it to give the teapot dimension. I colored the flowers with the light Boho Blue Stampin’ Blend and the dark Night of Navy Stampin’ Blend, leaving some flowers white.

I cut panels of Misty Moonlight and Basic White with the large octagonal die from the retiring Wildflower Designs dies. I embossed the inside of the Misty Moonlight panel with the retiring Cute Crochet 3D embossing folder. I adhered the Basic White frame to the card with dimensionals on the top and bottom and adhered the embossed panel with liquid glue. Doesn’t it look like a lacy doily? With the DSP stripe layer, the embossed inside and frame are almost level. I adhered the teapot with glue dots and popped the flowers on top with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the retiring Flower Cart stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Boho Blue and cut it out with the medium label die from the Mixed Labels dies. I used the two step method to make the die cut a little longer and was glad it worked out pretty well! I adhered the label to the card with dimensionals and finished with Night of Navy gems and a loopy Night of Navy linen thread bow.

For the inside of the card, I stamped a flower cluster from the Country Birdhouse stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink in the corner of a Basic White panel and colored it with Boho Blue and Night of Navy Stampin’ Blends. I stamped the sentiment from the Flower Card stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and trimmed the side with DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Country Flowers stamp set and dies are such a sweet set and I’m sorry to see it retiring. I don’t usually like to use so many different stamp sets and tools on cards, but I think all of these items work well together to make a sweet, feminine Mother’s Day card. Many of the retiring products I used for today’s card have been discounted in the Last Chance section of the Online Store. Many times the individual discounted prices of the stamp sets and dies total less than the bundled prices, so make sure to double check before adding them to your card.

Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Wishes Note Card Trio

Good Morning! Earlier this month Stampin’ Up! held a special creative event and showed projects using the Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Wishes bundle with a pink version of the Countryside Inn designer series papers. For today’s cards, I converted the designs to 3-1/2″ x 5″ note cards and used the regular Countryside Inn DSP. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

For my first card, I adhered strips of Countryside Inn designer series paper to the front of a Boho Blue card base. I cut the flourish from the Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Wishes dies from a Countryside Inn panel and adhered it to the card. I stamped the sentiment in Misty Moonlight ink on Basic White and cut it out with the small rectangle from the Nested Essentials dies. I adhered a loopy bow to the back and popped it on the card with dimensionals and finished the card with iridescent gems.

On the second card, I adhered a panel of Countryside Inn DSP to the front of a Boho Blue card base. I cut a Balmy Blue banner using the Nested essential Dies and stamped it with the flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Wishes stamp set. I stamped the ‘Thanks’ sentiment using Misty Moonlight ink on Basic White and trimmed it with paper snips before adhering it to the banner. I popped the banner on the card with dimensionals and adhered a small bow on top. I finished the card with iridescent gems.

For the third card, I cut three panels of Countryside Inn DSP with the small diamond die and cut them in half. I adhered them to a Boho Blue card base. I cut two flower sprigs using the Stampin’ Up!Thoughtful Wishes dies, trimmed them with my paper snips and adhered them to the card. I stamped the sentiment in Misty Moonlight ink on Basic White and adhered it to a Boho Blue mat. I wrapped it with linen thread and popped it on the card with dimensionals. I finished the card with iridescent gems.

I kept the insides of the cards simple, lining them with Basic White panels.

These designs really show off the pretty patterns in the Countryside Inn designer series paper and give a really different feel to the Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Wishes bundle. And the DSP will be part of the sale that starts next month( see details below)! The Linen Thread that I used is Night of Navy and part of the Nests of Winter suite that will be available in the new September – December Mini Catalog on September 4, 2024.

Stampin’ Up! Perennial Postage Card

Good Morning! I’ve been busy with cleaning out my craft room and organizing my supplies. This seems to be never ending, but I did manage to make a quick card with the Stampin’ Up! Perennial Postage bundle. I am CASE’ing a card from the Mini Catalog, but with so much of a mess, I was inspired to combine the old with the new and pair the new bundle with the Countryside Inn designer series paper. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

The Countryside Inn Suite in the Annual Catalog is such a pretty set of products, and there are so many different floral and graphic patterns in the DSP, so I thought it would be great with a layered postage stamp card. I started by embossing a Boho Blue panel with the Countryside Blossoms embossing folder and adhered it to a Boho Blue mat. I popped it on a Boho Blue card base with dimensionals.

I cut several different squares and rectangles of the Countryside Inn designer series paper using the large square and a couple of the rectangle dies from the Stampin’ Up! Perennial Postage dies. I tried to replicate the pattern in the catalog, but I had to change it up, so that it looked right to me. And then I wanted to make sure I got the bunny in there above where I wanted to put the label. I laid them all out and then took a picture and adhered them with liquid glue. And then I changed the arrangement from my picture, but the bunny is in the right place.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Perennial Postage stamp set in Versamark ink on Misty Moonlight. I sprinkled it with white embossing powder and shook off the excess. I heated it with my heat tool until it was bright and shiny and cut it out with one of the rectangle postage stamp dies. I used the two step method, so it’s just a little longer, but it’s so easy to do with these dies. I adhered some Boho Blue ribbon with some Stampin’ Seal and popped the label on top with dimensionals. I finished with three Misty Moonlight tinsel gems.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the flowers and stems from the Lasting Joy stamp set in Night of Navy and Boho Blue on a Basic White panel. They go so nicely with the Countryside Inn designer series paper. I cut the edge of a strip of DSP with the second largest postage square rectangle from the Stampin’ Up! Perennial Postage dies and adhered it to the the panel. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

I love how easy it is to combine two pretty Stampin’ Up! suites and make a card. The Stampin’ Up! Perennial Postage dies are so versatile!

Stampin’ Up! Good Feelings Note Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Good Feelings stamp set has bold, upbeat sentiments that are easily combined with other stamp sets, dies and DSP to easily make a card. For today, I combined it with the beautiful Countryside Corners designer series paper and the flowers from the Lasting Joy stamp set. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I adhered a panel of Countryside corners designer series paper to the front of a Night of Navy card base with liquid glue.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Good Feelings cling stamp set in Night of Navy ink on Boho Blue card stock. I cut it out with the third largest scalloped rectangle from the Scalloped Contours die and adhered it to the card front with dimensionals.

I finished the card front with a Night of Navy bow and Misty Moonlight tinsel gems.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the flowers and stems from the Lasting Joy photopolymer stamp set in Night of Navy and Boho Blue ink on a Basic White panel. I trimmed the bottom with a strip of Countryside corners DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

I love the bold sentiments in the Stampin’ Up! Good Feelings stamp set! They’re perfect for just sending someone a quick note to let them know how you feel.

Stampin’ Up! Gorgeously Made Hello Card

Good Morning! I was playing with the beautiful Countryside Inn designer series paper and it struck me that I should use it with my new Stampin’ Up! Gorgeously Made bundle! You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered adhered a panel of Countryside Inn designer series paper to the front of a Misty Moonlight card base with liquid glue. I cut both sides of a strip of Countryside Inn DSP with the jagged edge die from the Stampin’ Up! Gorgeously Made dies and adhered the strip to the card front with liquid glue.

I stamped the branch from the Stampin’ Up! Gorgeously Made cling stamp set in Boho Blue ink on a Basic White panel. I used a blending Brush to apply some Boho Blue ink to the panel and stamped the faded newsprint in Gray Granite. I cut the top with the spiral notebook die. I also cut the top of a Countryside Inn panel with the die and adhered the DSP to the stamped panel. I cut a Boho Blue card stock panel with the leaf die and adhered the die cut leaf to the layered panel before popping it on the card front with dimensionals.

I made a bow with a single strand of Boho Blue jute and adhered it to the card with a glue dot. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Gorgeously Made stamp set inn Misty Moonlight ink on a Basic White strip and cut it out with the jagged label die. I adhered the label to the card with dimensionals and finished the card front with Misty Moonlight tinsel gems.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the branch from the Stampin’ Up! Gorgeously Made cling stamp set in Boho Blue ink on the sides of a Basic White panel. I trimmed the bottom with a strip of Countryside Inn DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Gorgeously Made bundle is beautiful and I’m happy to see that it is just as beautiful with a different designer series paper in a different color palette.

Stampin’ Up! Countryside Corners Mother’s Day Card with Video Tutorial

Good Morning! Here’s a Mother’s Day card made with the new Stampin’ Up! Countryside Corners bundle and pretty Countryside Inn designer series paper. It’s a book fold card and I used the Alphabest photopolymer stamp set to spell out ‘mom’. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I made a video tutorial for this card and posted it to my YouTube Channel and you can see the video here:

I applied liquid glue to the end of my Boho Blue card base to seal it and create a book fold card base. I adhered panels of Countryside Inn designer series paper to Night of Navy mats and adhered them to the card front. I cut a Boho Blue panel with the 4th largest hexagon die from the Stampin’ Up! Countryside Corners bundle and embossed it with the Countryside Blossoms embossing folder before adhering it to the card front.

I stamped the frame from the Alphabest stamp set in Night of Navy ink three times on a strip of Basic White. I stamped the letters inside the frames in Night of Navy and then used the Best Labels punch to punch them out. I adhered them to the card with liquid glue. I stamped the large hexagons from the Stampin’ Up! Countryside Corners stamp set in Versamark ink on Night of Navy and sprinkled it with white embossing powder. I shook off the excess and heated the powder with my heat tool until it was bright and shiny. I cut the floral frame out with the 4th and 5th largest hexagon dies and adhered it to the card with dimensionals. I saved the rest of the hexagon for another project.

I used the Timeless Arrangements dies to cut a leaf sprig from Boho Blue card stock and the small triple flower die from the Sentimental Park dies to cut flowers from Night of Navy. I adhered these with glue dots and finished the flower centers with iridescent pearls. I wrapped a length of Night of Navy bordered ribbon around the end of the card and made a knot, securing it with a glue dot.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Timeless Arrangements stamp set in Night of Navy ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the corners with the small flower from the Petal Park stamp set in Night of navy and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

Isn’t this a pretty frame from the Stampin’ Up! Countryside Corners bundle? And the gorgeous flowers from the Countryside Inn designer series paper are the perfect background for a pretty Mother’s Day card.
