Stampin’ Up! Notes Of Nature for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! The Stampin’ Up! Notes Of Nature bundle is a pretty botanical stamp set and I used it with the pretty Nature’s Sweetness specialty designer series paper for today’s card. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a color challenge this week and I added some Granny Apple Green:

I embossed a panel of Pebbled Path card stock with the retiring Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder and adhered it to a Pebbled Path card base. I adhered a smaller panel of Nature’s Sweetness DSP to the card with liquid glue.

I stamped the leaf sprig from the Stampin’ Up! Notes of Nature stamp set in Pebbled Path ink on Basic White and colored it with the light Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blend. I cut it out with the coordinating die and adhered it to the card with glue dots. I used the Lovely & Sweet dies to cut the small leaves and flowers from Granny Apple Green, Pecan Pie and Distressed Gold. I adhered the die cuts to the card with glue dots and finished the flowers with gold Festive Pearls.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Notes Of Nature Stamp set in Pebbled Path ink on Basic White and cut it out with a banner die from the Stylish Shapes dies. I needed some more Pecan Pie on my card for the Hop color challenge, so I folded a length of Pecan Pie ribbon and adhered it to the card with glue dots and popped the label on top with dimensionals.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the leaves form the Stampin’ Up! Notes Of Nature stamp set using Pebbled Path ink in the corners of a Basic White panel. I colored the leaves with the light Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blend and trimmed the bottom with a strip of DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Notes Of Nature bundle is such a pretty botanical set with wonderful sentiments and great dies.

Stampin’ Up! Inspirational Sketches Enjoy The Journey Card

Good morning! The Stampin’ Up! Inspirational Sketches cling stamp set has sweet nature images and pretty sentiments. I used the mushrooms with the Notes of Nature dies and Poetic Expressions designer series paper for today’s card. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I cut a panel of Poetic Expressions DSP with the binder ring die from the Notes of Nature dies and adhered it to the front of a Pecan Pie card base. I adhered a floral panel of the DSP on top with liquid glue.

I stamped the mushrooms from the Stampin’ Up! Inspirational Sketches stamp set in Pecan Pie ink on Basic White and adhered it to the card. The images are pretty without coloring, but I’m sure that they will also be fantastic colored using any coloring tools. I cut a Mossy Meadow strip with the large leaf from the Notes Of Nature dies and the small leaf cluster from Lost Lagoon. I adhered the die cut leaves to the card with glue dots.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Inspirational Sketches stamp set using Pecan Pie ink on Basic White. I trimmed the ends of the label and popped it on the card with dimensionals. I tied a knot in a short length of Pecan Pie ribbon and adhered it to the card with a glue dot. I finished with rustic metallic dots.

For the inside of the card, I inked up the mushroom stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Inspirational Sketches stamp set using Pecan Pie ink and stamped it off three times before stamping it on a Basic White panel. I trimmed the bottom with DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Inspirational Sketches stamp set goes well with the Notes of Nature bundle and the Poetic Expressions designer series paper. The rustic, natural looks of these items compliment each other well. I love it when you can mix and match items from different Product Suites to make pretty cards!

Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine Hello Card

Good morning! The Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine bundle has sweet bees, flowers and hearts that are not just for Valentine’s Day. So I paired the stamp set with the pretty Bee Mine designer series paper to make a flower filled Springtime Hello card. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I adhered a floral panel of Bee Mine designer series paper to a Sweet Sorbet mat with liquid glue and wrapped two lengths of Sweet Sorbet ribbon around the left side. I secured the ribbon to the back with Stampin’ Seal and used glue dots to tack it down in the front. I adhered the panel to the front of a Granny Apple Green card base with dimensionals.

I stamped three stems from the Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine stamp set on the bottom of a Basic White panel using Lemon Lime Twist ink. I stamped flowers on top in Pool Party, Sweet Sorbet and Petal Pink. I stamped the sentiment from the Let’s Chat stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and cut out the flowers with the 2″ circle Punch. I used the pretty circle Everyday Details die to cut a Sweet Sorbet panel and adhered the punched circle to the die cut mat.

I adhered the layered circles to the card using dimensionals and added a Parakeet Party aker’s twine bow and Sweet Sorbet heart.

I left the inside of the card simple by just adhering a strip of Bee Mine DSP to the bottom of a Basic White panel. I adhered the panel to a Sweet Sorbet mat before adhering it the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The sweet Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine stamp set and punch are returning in the upcoming annual catalog, however they will no longer be available as a bundle with the 10% discount. But the Bee Mine DSP is retiring, and is only available while supplies last. And the pretty Sweet Sorbet will be retiring with the other 2022-2024 In Colors, to make way for the new In Colors.

Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch Card

Good morning! The Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch stamp set along with the Pansy Dies are one of the prettiest Spring flower stamp and die sets ever. The set has pretty sentiments, along with stamped and die cut pansies that are both wonderful. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I adhered a panel of Poetic Expressions designer series paper to the front of a Pool Party card base. I stamped the Countryside Corners stamp on a Pool Party Panel and cut it out with the second largest octagon die. I cut another Pool Party Panel with the third largest die and embossed it with the Countryside Blossoms embossing folder and adhered it to the stamped octagon. I popped the panel on the card with dimensionals.

I made a die cut pansy using the Pansy dies from Blackberry Bliss, Daffodil Delight and Basic White. I cut the large center die from Daffodil Delight and two of the side petals from Basic White. I cut the borders in Blackberry Bliss and adhered the borders to the petals with liquid glue. I adhered the large petals to the center petal and cut the flower center pieces from Blackberry Bliss and Basic White. I made the bud with Basic White and Daffodil Delight and the stems and leaves from Garden Green.

I adhered the assembled bud to the card with glue dots and popped the large pansy flower on the card with dimensionals. I tucked three large leaves and one small leaf under the flower, adhering them with glue dots. I made a Pool Party bow and adhered it with a glue dot. I finished the card front with three small gold sequins.

For the inside of the card, I decided to stamp a pansy using the Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch stamp set on a Basic White panel. I stamped the small flower detailed stamp in stamped off Blackberry Bliss and the center in Daffodil Delight. With the darker outline, it was easy to line up the Daffodil Delight center. I covered the flower with a mask and stamped the leaves in Garden Green. I finished by stamping the center in Blackberry Bliss and trimming the bottom of the panel with DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

I am always anxious to plant flowers in the spring when it’s too early, so pansies are my go to since they can stand up to the cold nights. And This week I managed to get some in the ground by my mailbox, so I had to make a card using the pretty Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch stamp and dies to celebrate. Sadly, these pretty items are on the retiring list, and beginning April 9, the dies will be on sale!

Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Balloons for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! The Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Balloons bundle is a wonderful balloon theme bundle that is great for birthdays and other celebrations. I paired it pretty Lighter Than Air 6″ x 6″ designer series paper for a Springtime Birthday card. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a fun sketch challenge this week:

I cut two panels of Lighter Than Air 6″ x 6″ designer series paper and adhered them to an Azure Afternoon card base with liquid glue.

I used one of the balloon dies from the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Balloons dies to cut twelve balloons from different patterns in the Lighter Than Air 6″ x 6″ designer series paper. I used the 1-3/4″ punch to cut a Basic White panel and adhered the die cut balloons to the circle with liquid glue to make a large bunch. I tied four strands of Baker’s twine in a knot and used glue dots to adhere one end to the back of the balloon bundle. I adhered the balloons to the card with dimensionals, pulled the strings taut and secured the knot to the card with another glue dot.

I applied some adhesive strips to teh back of a Basic White strip and cut out the detailed celebrate die from the Wanted To Say dies. I cut out the background die and pulled off the adhesive backing from the detailed die and adhered it to the background. I adhered the die cut word to the card with dimensionals and finished the card with Rainbow dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Balloons stamp set in Azure Afternoon ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped balloon in Fresh Freesia and the string in Smoky Slate. I trimmed the bottom with a strip of DSP before adhering the panel to the inside of the card. with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Balloons bundle will be retiring at the end of April, and it’s a pretty versatile set.

Stampin’ Up! Reach For the Stars Birthday Card

Good morning! The Stampin’ Up! Reach for the Stars bundle is a fun space theme set with planets, an astronaut and space shuttle that is great for astronomy fans. I used the planet dies with the Stargazing designer series paper to make a birthday card. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I adhered a panel of Stargazing designer series paper to the front of a Starry Sky card base with liquid glue. I adhered another panel to a Azure Afternoon mat and popped it on the card with Dimensionals. I used the Stampin’ Up! Reach For the Stars dies to cut several planets in different sizes and colors from the Stargazing DSP.

I used the small ring from the Stampin’ Up! Reach For The Stars dies to cut a Rose Gold ring and tucked one of the die cut planets into it, adhering it in the back with a glue dot. I adhered the planets to the card with glue dots and dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Level Complete stamp set in Versamark ink and sprinkled it with white embossing powder. I shook off the excess and heated the powder with my heat tool until it was bright and shiny. I cut it out with the Stylish Shapes banner die and popped it on the card with dimensionals. I used the stars dies from the Stampin’ Up! Reach For The Stars dies to cut several stars from Rose Gold foil and adhered them with glue dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Reach For The Stars stamp set in Starry Sky ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the space dust in stamped off Lemon Lime Twist, Pumpkin Pie and Fresh Freesia inks by the sentiment and stamped the stars in Azure Afternoon. I trimmed the bottom with a Strip of DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal. I wanted to use the astronaut and space shuttle, so I stamped them in Starry Sky (I stamped off the space shuttle first) on the inside of the of the front flap.

The Stargazing designer series paper has amazing space images and the planets are beautiful, so I had to use them for the front of my card. And the Stampin’ Up! Reach For The Stars bundle is fun and perfect for space enthusiasts. All of these fun products are on the 2023-2024 Annual Catalog retiring list, so they won’t be available for too much longer. And beginning April 9, the designer series paper will be on sale at 40% off!

Stampin’ Up! Latte Love Friendship Card

Good Morning! Have you had your coffee yet? I used the Online Exclusive Stampin’ Up! Latte Love bundle to make a fun coffee card today! I paired it with the pretty Inked Botanicals 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to change things up and I think it works well! You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I stamped the coffee rings and drips from the Stampin’ Up! Latte Love stamp set using Pecan Pie ink all over a panel of Inked Botanicals 6″ x 6″ designer series paper and adhered it to another panel of the DSP. I adhered the layered DSP to the front of a Calypso Coral card base. I adhered a plaid panel of the DSP to a Lost Lagoon mat and popped it on the card front with dimensionals.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Latte Love dies to make the cute French Press carafe. I used Rose Gold for the frame and cut a Window Sheet panel for the glass carafe – it’s hard to see but it looks so cool in person. I applied adhesive sheets to the back of the Rose Gold foil so it would stick to the Window Sheet. I cut an Early Espresso panel and adhered it with glue dots, hidden by the frame. I stamped the coffee cup using Calypso Coral ink on Basic White and colored it with Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blends. I stamped the oval coffee disk in stamped off Crumb Cake (I need creamer in my coffee) and cut it out with the coordinating die. I adhered it to the top of the coffee cup. I popped the French press and coffee cup on the card with dimensionals.

I stamped the spoon from the Stampin’ Up! Latte Love stamp set using Smoky Slate ink on Smoky Slate card stock and cut it out with the coordinating die. I stamped the sentiment in Early Espresso ink and cut it out with the Stylish Shapes banner die using the two step method . I adhered the spoon and label to the card with glue dots and finished with coffee swirl dots.

For the inside of the card, I cut four panels of the Inked Botanicals 6″ x 6″ DSP using the small cup die in the Stampin’ Up! Latte Love dies. I cut four Pecan Pie small coffee ovals and adhered them to the cups with liquid glue. I adhered the cups to the bottom of a Basic White panel and adhered the panel to the Inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

This was such a fun card to make – I love the carafes! And with the spatter and coffee ring stamps in the Stampin’ Up! Latte Love stamp set, you can give a coffee theme to lots of different DSPs. And I love the cute little die cut cups in different patterns. So, what color is your coffee – Early Espresso, Pecan Pie or Crumb Cake?

Stampin’ Up! Flower Cart for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! The Stampin’ Up! Flower Cart bundle is a sweet and fun stamp and die set and I used it to make a Mother’s Day card. I paired it with the Les Shoppes designer series paper to make a Book Z-Fold fun fold card! You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a Theme Challenge this week and Mother’s Day definitely fits in the Spring!

I after scoring and burnishing the Flirty Flamingo card base, I adhered the left side bookend closed with liquid glue. I adhered a strip of Les Shoppes designer series paper to the bookend and another strip to the right end of the inside panel. I adhered another strip to the inside of the Z-Fold and a panel to the Misty Moonlight front panel. I adhered the Misty Moonlight panel to the front of the Z-Fold flap with liquid glue, centering it widthwise and aligning the top and bottom with the Flirty Flamingo card base.

I made a stamped flower cart using the Stampin’ Up! Flower Cart bundle. I stamped the canopy in Misty Moonlight, the cart in Crumb Cake and the wheels in Pecan Pie. I stamped these on Basic White and cut them out with the coordinating dies. I cut three flower pots using the Let’s Go Shopping flower pot die and the Les Shoppes DSP. I trimmed the bottoms so it looks like the pots are in the cart and adhered them with glue dots. Then I adhered the canopy and wheels and post to the cart with glue dots and popped the cart on the card front with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Flower Cart stamp set in Misty Moonlight ink on Flirty Flamingo and cut it out with the long label die from the Autumn Leaves dies. I adhered it to the card with glue dots. I cut the lamp post from Basic Gray using the Let’s Go Shopping dies and adhered it to the card with glue dots.

I cut two of the flower cans using the die from the Stampin’ Up! Flower Cart stamp set from Smoky Slate and adhered them with a glue dot. I stamped the single pot leaves using Shaded Spruce and the flowers in Flirty Flamingo. I cut them out with the coordinating die and used my dark Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blend to fill in the center. I popped the flowers on the card with dimensionals. I finished the card front by adhering loose daisy embellishments to the pots in the flower cart with glue dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Flower Cart stamp set in Misty Moonlight on a Basic White panel. I stamped the single pot leaves in Shaded Spruce and the Flowers in Flirty Flamingo. I covered it with a mask and stamped the pot in Crumb Cake. I used my Granny Apple Blender pen to color in the center of the bouquet before adhering the panel to the inside of the card.

This was such a fun card to make, but getting the lines and straight drove me crazy (they are straight aren’t they?). But the Stampin’ Up! Flower Cart bundle makes such pretty scenes! And I used the stamped flower cart, but there’s also flower cart that is just die cuts – I can’t wait to make that one.

Stampin’ Up! March Paper Pumpkin Kit – Memorable Meadows

Good Friday Morning! I received my March Paper Pumpkin kit last week and put together some of the beautiful cards. I made the projects pretty much as designed, but did make a few changes:

Here’s the March 2024 Paper Pumpkin kit unboxing video from the Paper Pumpkin YouTube channel. It shows the kit contents and steps for making the projects according to directions – they are stunning and really easy!

I made the first card according to the instructions. The flowers are beautiful and note the rounded envelope flap with the pretty printed lining!

For the second card I substituted gold adhesive sequins from my stash for the ones included in the kit because I wanted to pick up on the gold trimmed label. I also just inked up the thanks part of the sentiment so that it would fit on the label.

On the last card, I just positioned the label a little differently so you could see the tree. The wooden leaves and tree cut outs are wonderful and so much fun with the bold colors in the landscapes!

Here’s everything included in the kit. Note that the card bases are printed on the front an back with the beautiful landscapes!

And here is the Garden Green ink spot and the stamp sets included in the kit. The one on the right is the free special bonus stamp set that is included this month. And note the printed stamp set inserts that are now included with the kit.

And here is a quick card I made with the free bonus stamp set. I combined it with the Garden Meadow bundle and Meandering Meadow DSP. I love how the kit uses the same font in the stamp set. I used a Fresh Freesia card base and stamped the flowers in Basic Gray, Fresh Freesia and Lemon Lime Twist. I used a Berry Burst Stampin’ Blend to color the flower centers and finished with pretty Melon Mambo glossy dots.

Such a pretty kit, I’m sure there will be a ton of beautiful alternative designs.
