Stampin’ Up! Gorgeous Leaves for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! Can you believe that it’s September already! Since it is, I had to get the Stampin’ Up! Gorgeous Leaves bundle to make fall cards. Boy, am I glad I did the leaves really are gorgeous and the dies are beautiful too! You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

We have a sketch challenge this week for our Blog Hop and here’s the pretty card sketch we’re using:

I adhered a panel of the woodgrain Beauty of the Earth designer series paper to the front of an Early Espresso Card base. I stamped the wood grain stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Gorgeous Leaves cling stamp set in PoolParty ink all over a Basic White panel. I stamped both in full strength and stamped off so that it fades in and out. Then I randomly stamped the leaves in Bumblebee, Cajun Craze and Cinnamon Cider – I love how the leaves have speckles around them!

The Stampin’ Up! Gorgeous Leaves stamp set has two spatter stamps – one with large spatters and the one I used, with fine spatters. I inked the small spatter stamp with Early Espresso ink and stamped around the panel, both full strength and stamped off until I got the look I wanted. I embossed the panel with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder and adhered it to an Early Espresso mat and then to the card front.

I cut the large detailed leaf from the Intricate Leaves dies from the Sale A Bration Be Dazzle specialty paper and colored it with the Cajun Craze Stampin’ Blend. I cut two smaller detailed leaves from Bumblebee and Early Espresso and adhered the leaves to the card with glue dots. I adhered a bow made with a double strand of Linen Thread and stamped the sentiment from the Love of Leaves photopolymer stamp set in Cajun Craze ink on Pool Party. I trimmed the ends of the sentiment with the Banners Pick A Punch and adhered it to the card front with dimensionals. I finished it with a copper Brushed Metallic dot.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the leaves from the Stampin’ Up! Gorgeous Leaves stamp set in stamped off Cinnamon Cider on a Basic White panel. I stamped and embossed a strip of Basic White just like the art panel on the card front and adhered it to the bottom of the panel. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Gorgeous Leaves bundle is a wonderful bundle for making fall cards. The stamped images are so realistic and beautiful and the dies are fabulous. This is one of my favorite leaf stamps of all time!

Stampin’ Up! In Bloom Thank You Card

Good Morning! The Sale A Bration Penguin Playmates designer series paper is so pretty with all the winter fun and happy critters. But it’s also a pretty color palette, so I wanted to use it for a floral card using the pretty Stampin’ Up! In Bloom photopolymer stamp set and coordinating Pierced Blooms dies. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I’m entering my card into the Global Design Project’s theme challenge #307 because the theme is Thank You:

I adhered a panel of striped Penguin Playmates designer series paper to the bottom of a Soft Sea Foam panel. I embossed a panel of Fresh Freesia card stock with floral Meadow Moments embossing folder and adhered it to the top of the panel. I wrapped a length of denim ribbon around the seam and secured it in the back and then adhered the panel to the front of a Misty Moonlight card base.

I stamped the pretty sentiment from the In Symmetry stamp set in Misty Moonlight ink on a Soft Sea Foam panel and cut it out with the label die from the Pierced Blooms dies. I adhered it to the card front over the ribbon with dimensionals. I cut the leaves from Just Jade and adhered them to the card with glue dots.

I cut the large flower from the Pierced Blooms dies from Fresh Freesia and the small flower and bow from Misty Moonlight. I adhered the small flower to the large flower with liquid glue and popped the large flower onto the card front with dimensionals. I used a glue dot to adhere the bow and tucked it under the flower. I finished the card with Just Jade and Misty Moonlight faceted gems.

For the inside of the card, I stamped some small flowers from the Stampin’ Up! In Bloom stamp set in Fresh Freesia and Misty Moonlight ink in the corners of a Basic White panel. I adhered a strip of the striped Penguin Place DSP to the bottom of the panel and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

I love the die cut flowers from the Pierced Blooms dies and the coordinating Stampin’ Up! In Bloom stamp set. The Fresh Freesia die cut flower looks so pretty with the striped Penguin Playmates designer series paper and makes a nice floral thank you card for the end of the summer. Time to make way for all things fall!

Stampin’ Up! Enjoy The Moment Friendship Card

Happy Friday! The Stampin’ Up! Enjoy the Moment is one of the pretty nature themed cling stamp sets from the Annual Catalog. It’s perfect as fall approaches because it’s full of different seed pods like the ones you see outside with the falling leaves. I decided to combine it with the birch trees print from the Sale A Bration Peaceful Prints designer series paper for a simple friendship card. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered a panel of the Peaceful Prints birch trees paper to a Soft suede mat and wrapped it with linen thread and tied a knot to the side. I adhered the panel to the front of a Soft Suede card base with dimensionals.

I stamped a Basic White panel with the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Enjoy The Moment stamp set in Soft Suede ink. I stamped the sycamore pods next to the sentiment, also in Soft Suede ink.

I cut the panel with the third smallest Stitched Rectangles die and adhered it to a Soft Suede mat. I adhered the panel to the card front with dimensionals over the linen thread and adhered a little bumblebee trinket to the panel with a glue dot.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sycamore pods from the Stampin’ Up! Enjoy The Moment stamp set in Soft Suede ink in the upper corner of a Basic White panel. I adhered a strip of the Peaceful Prints birch trees DSP to a Soft Suede mat and adhered it to the side of the panel. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The stampin’ Up! Enjoy The Moment stamp set has pretty natural images and wonderful sentiments. The Peaceful Prints designer series paper is a wonderful Sale A Bration item that is FREE with a $50 order before shipping and taxes. It has lots of pretty holiday prints in addition to the pretty birch trees!

Stampin’ Up! Art in Bloom Thank You for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! My Thank You card for today uses the Stampin’ Up! Art In Bloom bundle. This bundle has a hybrid embossing folder that combines a 3D embossing folder with dies that allow you to emboss and cut in one step! You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

We have a color challenge this week for our Blog Hop and here’s the color palette we’re using:

I adhered strip of Misty Moonlight Harvest Meadow designer series paper to the Bumblebee Harvest Meadow panel and adhered them both to a Crumb Cake mat. I adhered the panel to the front of a Misty Moonlight card base with dimensionals.

I used my blending brush to apply Calypso Coral ink to a Basic White panel and stamped it with the flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Art In Bloom photopolymer stamp set using Calypso Coral ink. This stamp has all three flowers on a single stamp! Then I inserted the die into the Bloom hybrid embossing folder and carefully aligned my flowers with the die and embossing folder and ran it through my die cutting machine. I love how I get embossed flowers after die cutting! I adhered two of the flowers onto the card front with glue dots and the top one with dimensionals. I cut three sets of detailed leaves dies from Soft Succulent and adhered them with glue dots, tucking them under the flowers.

I stamped the sentiment from the Biggest Wish photopolymer stamp set in Misty Moonlight ink on a Crumb Cake panel and cut it out with the second smallest Tailor Made Tags dies. I cut a reinforcement from Misty Moonlight and adhered it before looping a length of Crumb Cake twine through the hole and tying a bow. I adhered the tag to the card front with glue dots and finished it with three adhesive sequins.

For the inside of the card, I stamped bits of the flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Art In Bloom stamp set in the corners of a Basic White panel with Calypso Coral ink. I cut some masks from printer paper and covered the flowers and stamped the leaves in Soft Succulent. I adhered a strip of Bumblebee Harvest Meadows DSP to the bottom and adhered the panel to a Crumb Cake mat before adhering the panel to the inside of the card.

The flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Art In Bloom bundle make it so easy to make a pretty bouquet of flowers to go with any color palette. And when they’re embossed, it make your card extra special!

Stampin’ Up! Sending Hugs Get Well Card

Good Morning! Today I have another card made with the Stampin’ Up! Sending Hugs bundle. Today’s card uses the sweet floral die cut rather than the stamped image that I did last week (you can see the stamped Sending Hugs card here) and I layered the pretty die cut on die cuts from the Scalloped Contours dies, Hand Penned designer series paper and pretty Highland Heather ribbon. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I cut a Basic White panel with the largest Scalloped Contours die and adhered a panel of Hand penned designer series paper to the middle. I cut a Vellum panel with the second largest Scalloped Contours die and adhered it to the first one with Stampin’ Seal in the middle so it would be covered by the ribbon. I adhered a length of Highland Heather ribbon to the vellum with Stampin’ Seal.

I cut a Highland Heather panel with the large floral die from the Layering Hugs dies in the Stampin’ Up! Sending Hugs bundle. I cut the letters with the Layering Hugs dies in Basic White and adhered them to the floral die cut with small dots of liquid glue. I adhered the die cut to the card front with dimensionals that I cut into strips and applied behind the letters.

I adhered the decorated scalloped die cut panel to the front of a Highland Heather card base with dimensionals and finished the card front with three Gorgeous Grape pearls.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Inspired Thoughts photopolymer stamp set in Highland Heather ink on a Basic White panel. I applied some adhesive sheet to the back of a small Highland Heather panel and and cut out the flower from the Layering Hugs dies in the Stampin’ Up! Sending Hugs bundle. I adhered a strip of Hand Penned DSP to the bottom and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Sending Hugs bundle is pretty with both the stamped version and the die cut version. I love it when bundles are versatile enough to give you two different looks! And any card that sends hugs is a wonderful card!

Stampin’ Up! Christmas Season Video Tutorial

Good Morning! Yesterday afternoon during my weekly Facebook Live, I used the the pretty Stampin’ Up! Christmas Season bundle to make Christmas card. The Painted Christmas designer series paper has a pretty print that matches the stamps and die cuts in this pretty bundle perfectly, so I used it for the background of my card. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

Here is the Facebook Live video showing how I made the card:

I posted a copy of the video in my YouTube channel here so you can view it there if you prefer.

I adhered a panel the colorful Painted Christmas designer series paper to the front of a Real Red card base. I cut an Evening Evergreen panel with the large label die from the Stampin’ Up! Christmas Season bundle and embossed it with the pine needles embossing folder from the Wintry 3D Embossing folders. I adhered it to the center of the card front.

I stamped the long leaf cluster from the Stampin’ Up! Christmas Season photopolymer stamp set in Garden Green, the berry Cluster in Garden Green and Real Red, the small leaf cluster in Soft Sea Foam and the small pinecone in Crumb Cake and Soft Suede. I cut these out with the coordinating dies and adhered them to the card front with glue dots.

I stamped the leaf cluster from the Stampin’ Up! Christmas Season stamp set in Soft Sea Foam on a small basic White panel. I stamped the sentiment from the Christmas To Remember cling stamp set in Real Red ink on top of the leaf and cut it out with the label die. I adhered the label to the card with dimensionals and finished the card front with a Cherry Cobbler and Gold ribbon bow and three gilded gems.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the leaf cluster from the Stampin’ Up! Christmas Season stamp set in Soft Sea Foam on a Basic White panel. I stamped the sentiment from the Christmas to remember stamp set over the leaves in Real Red and trimmed the bottom with a strip of Painted Christmas DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up Christmas Season bundle has so many pretty holiday greenery images that all have coordinating dies, making it real easy to make decorative greenery arrangements for cards, tags and gift packages. And the label dies are very versatile and can be used with many other stamp sets that have sentiments.

Stampin’ Up! August Paper Pumpkin Kit – Hope Box

Good Morning! I got my Stampin’ Up! August Paper Pumpkin kit this week and made one of each of the cards. This kit is so colorful and full of butterflies and flowers and makes nine pretty cards. It comes in a special decorative box and has extra accessories to turn it into a Hope Box – a keepsake box that you can fill with special treats and trinkets to inspire hope and encouragement.

The Stampin’ Up! August Paper Pumpkin kit makes 9 cards with 3 different designs. I generally followed the instructions and I love the new instruction format!

The first card has a colorful die cut overlay that is adhered to a printed white card base. I stamped the sentiments with the included Blackberry Bliss ink spot and adhered the label and another butterfly. I finished it off with the pretty pink iridescent sequins.

I love this sentiment! And the card has lots of layers and pretty butterflies. There are three different styles of printed envelopes and they’re all so pretty! Each style goes with any of the cards.

The last card has the pretty printed strips that you layer on a Melon Mambo printed spatter card base. I changed it up by adding a strip of the pretty Blackberry Bliss ribbon behind the label.

There is a wonderful belly band that is included in the kit along with die cuts to decorate it. It goes around the Paper Pumpkin box, but I chose to trim it and use it for a large tag. I plan to adhere the tag to the front of a journal that I have. It is also a good size to decorate the large Memories and More cards and envelopes, the new Kraft gift boxes or the Ombre gift bags.

Here is the pretty photopolymer stamp set that is included in the kit.

Here’s the kit unboxing video from the Paper Pumpkin YouTube channel showing how to assemble the cards.

Paper Pumpkin publishes a different kit each month. They are usually card kits, but sometimes the kits will be little containers or other projects. On the first day of the ordering period, they publish a description so you will know the theme and whether it will be a card kit or other type of project. They will give clues about the design, but the kit will be a surprise when it arrives. You need to place your order or subscribe by the 10th of each month and the kit will be delivered to your mailbox before the end of the month. And then, the crafting fun begins!! Here’s the Preview of the September kit that will make treat boxes instead of cards!

The September Paper Pumpkin Kit is Haunts & Harvest!

Hay, there! Experience everything the autumn season has to offer with the Haunts & Harvest Paper Pumpkin Kit! This month’s kit includes enough supplies to create 12 treat boxes—4 each of 3 designs. That means you can take your pick of apple, pumpkins, or jack-o-lantern treat boxes! Plus, the Paper Pumpkin box is designed to easily transform into a vintage wheelbarrow for you to display your harvest!

Whether you’re thinking about crisp red apples or you’re ready to carve some spooky jack-o-lanterns (or both!), the Haunts & Harvest Paper Pumpkin Kit—designed in a vivid fall palette—is a hands-on crafting experience for all autumn lovers!

Here are the Details:

  • Kit contains enough supplies to create 12 treat packages—4 each of 3 designs.
  • The all-inclusive kit includes printed die-cut boxes, die-cut sheets, adhesive, and more!
  • Finished treat box size: 2-1/2″ x 2″

Stampin’ Up! Garden Birdhouses Hello Card

Happy Friday! Today I am sharing a Hello Card that uses the sweet Stampin’ Up! Garden Birdhouses photopolymer stamp set. This is a fun little set with three different bird houses that you can use to build a sweet garden scene. I only used one of the houses and the gorgeous hello sentiment, but I definitely need to use it some more before the summer is gone. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I was inspired by the pretty sketch in Try Stampin’ On Tuesday Challenge #519 to use pretty designer series papers to go with the stamp set:

So I adhered a panel of Beauty of the Earth designer series paper to a Soft Suede mat and wrapped it with a length of Bumblebee Gingham Ribbon and made a bow. I adhered a panel of Cork specialty paper on top and adhered the panel to the front of a Mossy Meadow card base with dimensionals.

I stamped the birdhouse from the Stampin’ Up! Garden Birdhouses photopolymer stamp set in Early Espresso ink on Basic White. I fussy cut it with my paper snips. I used my water painter and Crumb Cake and Misty Moonlight inks to color it with a slightly damp brush. I was careful not to touch the Early Espresso ink, and I tried to keep it to a minimum since the Basic White paper is not great for water painting. This gave it a rough look which looks ok for something that stays outside. I stamped the two birds in Cinnamon Cider ink and fussy cut them too. I also colored them with my water painter and Misty Moonlight ink.

I stamped the branches from the Stampin’ Up! Garden Birdhouses stamp set in stamped off Mossy Meadow ink on Basic White and stamped the sentiment in Early Espresso underneath. I used the rectangle window die from the Window Flower Box dies to cut it out. I adhered the birdhouse with dimensionals and the little birds with glue dots and adhered the little scene to the card with Stampin’ Seal. I finished the card with three bronze Brushed Metallic Dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the birdhouse from the Stampin’ Up! Garden Birdhouses stamp set in Early Espresso ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the post underneath in Early Espresso and stamped the branch in stamped off Mossy Meadow. I stamped the little birds on the birdhouse in Cinnamon Cider and colored them with my water painter and Misty Moonlight ink. I adhered a strip of Beauty of the Earth DSP to the bottom of the panel and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Garden Birdhouses stamp set is so cute and sweet and it’s perfect to capture idyllic summer backyard scenes. Can you hear the birds chirping?

Stampin’ Up! Feels Like Home for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! My Thank You card for today uses a Sale A Bration item – the Stampin’ Up! Feels Like Home cling stamp set. This is a sweet stamp set with a simple front door and bicycle that you can choose to get for FREE with an order of $50 before shipping and taxes. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

We have a sketch challenge this week for our Blog Hop and here’s the sketch we’re using:

I adhered panel of Harvest Meadow designer series paper to the Bloom Where You’re Planted panel and adhered them both to the front of a Cinnamon Cider card base.

I stamped front door from the Stampin’ Up! Feels Like Home stamp set in Early Espresso ink on a Basic White panel. I colored the image with a combination of Stampin’ Blends and Watercolor Pencils. I used Crumb Cake, Cinnamon Cider, Pool Party, Old Olive, Soft Succulent, Smoky Slate, Mossy Meadow, Poppy Parade, Calypso Coral and Granny Apple Green Stampin Blends. I used Basic Black, Pacific Point, Garden Green, Basic Gray and Daffodil Delight Watercolor Pencils. I used the blending brush to lightly apply Crumb Cake and Cinnamon Cider ink around the edge of the image to give it a vintage look and adhered the panel to a Cinnamon Cider mat.

I used the blending brush to apply a light wash of Cinnamon Cider ink to the label and stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Feels Like Home stamp set in Early Espresso ink. I really love the script font in the sentiment – it looks handwritten! I adhered the sentiment to the art panel with dimensionals and applied them both to the card front with dimensionals. I finished the card front with a bumblebee trinket adhered with a glue dot.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the little plant from the Stampin’ Up Feels Like Home stamp set in Early Espresso ink in the corner of a Basic White panel. I colored it with Calypso Coral and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends and Daffodil Delight Watercolor Pencil. I adhered a strip of Harvest Meadow DSP to the bottom and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Feels Like Home stamp set has some sweet images and wonderful sentiments. And it was fun to pull out the color pencils to do some coloring. I need to do that more!

Stampin’ Up! Sending Hugs Card

Good Morning! If you’re a purple lover, I have a card for you today! I used the Stampin’ Up! Sending Hugs bundle to make today’s card. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I was inspired by the bold and beautiful color palette in Sunday Stamps Challenge SSC263 – Beautiful Blooms:

I started by stamping the large image from the Stampin’ Up! Sending Hugs cling stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black on a Basic White panel and coloring the flowers and leaves with Stampin’ Blends. I used Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Just Jade, Shaded Spruce and Highland Heather.

I used the largest Scalloped Contours die to cut a Gorgeous Grape panel and adhered the image on top. I cut the letters from the Layering Hugs dies from the Stampin’ Up! Sending Hugs bundle using more Gorgeous Grape card stock and adhered them to the panel with tiny dots of liquid glue.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Sending Hugs stamp set in Real Red ink on Basic White and cut it out with the small label die. I adhered it to the panel with dimensionals. I added a Real Red bow and scattered red rhinestones around the arrangement and popped the panel on the front of a Gorgeous Grape card base.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the flower from the Stampin’ Up! Sending Hugs bundle in the corner of a Basic White panel using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored it with Just Jade and Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

I hope you like this card with it’s bold colors. The Stampin’ Up! Sending Hugs bundle has a big, beautiful hugs in the form of a stamped image like my card today or a floral filigree die cut which I’ll use next week. And I think I’ll use a more subtle color palette to show how versatile this beautiful bundle is.
