Stampin’ Up! Cottage Wreaths Grateful Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Cottage Wreaths photopolymer stamp set and coordinating Country Wreaths dies are a great set for making wreath cards. The weather has gotten cold and I wanted to make some Fall themed cards, so I pulled these out and combined them with the Inked And Tiled stamp set to make a Thanksgiving card. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I adhered a plaid panel of Them Bones designer series paper to the front of a Cajun Craze card base with liquid glue. I wanted a floral panel to coordinate, but the Them Bones DSP only had bats and skeletons, so I decided to make one. I stamped a Pumpkin Pie panel with the flower from the Inked and Tiled stamp set in Cajun Craze ink. I stamped randomly all over the panel. I stamped the little fluff stamp in stamped off Pebbled Path ink randomly around the panel. Finally I embossed the panel with the Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder and adhered it to a Cajun Craze mat. I popped it on the card front with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Cottage Wreaths stamp set in Cajun Craze ink on the bottom of a Crumb Cake panel and cut it out with the tag die from the Merriest Trees dies. I cut a Cajun Craze panel with the wreath from the Country Wreath dies and adhered it to the tag with a glue dot. I looped a length of Pebbled Path jute through the tag hole and tied a knot and popped the tag on the card front with dimensionals.

I used my dark Cajun Craze Stampin’ Blend to color a length of gingham ribbon and tied a bow. I adhered the bow to the top of the wreath with a glue dot – I love how it picks up on the plaid background! I finished the wreath with Pebbled Path gems.

I left the inside of the card blank, and just adhered a strip of Plaid DSP to the bottom of a Very Vanilla panel before adhering it to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

This was a fun diversion from Christmas cards. Making your own DSP is always fun, and it’s great that I’m able to match ink colors to DSP and get a look that coordinates well. And I’m glad that I was able to use the Stampin’ Up! Cottage Wreaths stamp set again, it’s one of my favorites!

Stampin’ Up! Inked and Tiled Congratulations for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! I used the pretty Stampin’ Up! Inked and Tiled bundle for a congratulations card today, and I used both the beautiful stamp set and both punches! You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a color challenge for our Blog Hop this week – perfect with the Inked Botanicals 6″ x 6″ designer series paper:

I stamped the large leaf from the Stampin’ Up! Inked and Tiled cling stamp set using stamped off Lost Lagoon ink randomly on a plaid panel of Inked Botanicals 6″ x 6″ designer series paper. I adhered a panel of Crushed Curry Inked Botanicals DSP across the front with liquid glue and adhered the layered pannel to the front of a Lost Lagoon card base.

I embossed a Pool Party panel with the Cane Weave 3D embossing folder and adhered it to a Calypso Coral mat. I used the punches from the Stampin’ Up! Inked and Tiled bundle to punch 6 shapes from different designs in the Inked Botanicals DSP. I arranged them on the embossed panel and adhered the ‘x’ punched shapes with liquid glue. I adhered the star punched shapes with dimensionals to the embossed panel.

I popped the embossed panel onto the card front with dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Inked and Tiled stamp set in Lost Lagoon ink on a Daffodil Delight strip. I punched the ends with the ‘x’ punch and adhered a folded length of Pool Party ribbon to the back with glue dots. I adhered the label to the card front with dimensionals and finished with iridescent pastel gems.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the small flower from the Stampin’ Up! Inked and Tiled stamp set using stamped off Calypso Coral ink randomly around the edges of a Basic White panel. I trimmed the bottom with a strip of Inked Botanicals DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

I love how the punches in the Stampin’ Up! Inked and Tiled bundle fit together – it’s like a quilt pattern. What a great way to show off the different designs in pretty designer series paper!

Stampin’ Up! Inked and Tiled for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good Morning! Welcome to the July Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop! The theme for this month’s hop is “Fun Fold” and I used the Stampin’ Up! Inked and Tiled cling stamp set to make a simple accordion tri-fold friendship card for our hop!

I adhered a Calypso Coral panel of Inked Botanicals 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to a Calypso Coral card base. I scored a Crushed Curry mini card base in a mountain/valley manner to create the tri-fold accordion and adhered it to the center of card base with liquid glue. I adhered the smaller panels of Inked Botanicals DSP to the left and middle panels of the mini card.

I used the dies from the Timeless Arrangements die set to cut foliage for the mini card front. I applied liquid adhesive to the bars connecting the sprigs to build the layers. I cut two long leaf sprig sets and two leaf clusters from Old Olive. I adhered the leaf clusters to the right side of the sprig sets with liquid glue.

I cut two floral sets from Calypso Coral and adhered them on top of the Old Olive leaf sets with liquid glue. I cut two berry sprig sets from Petal Pink and adhered them to the layered die cuts with liquid glue. I love how easy it is to build up the floral bouquets with the solid bars – the spacing is perfect!

I adhered the two sets of layered die cuts to the mini card, centering them and spacing the bars 1/2″ apart. I cut 4 floral sprigs (with holes) from Daffodil Delight and adhered them to the layered die cuts with liquid glue.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Inked and Tiled cling stamp set in Calypso Coral ink on Basic White and cut it out with the large label die from the Timeless Arrangements dies. I cut a leaf sprig from Old Olive and a floral sprig from Daffodil Delight and adhered them to the side of the sentiment with liquid glue and adhered the label to the mini card with dimensionals and glue dots. I finished the card with Lemon Lime Twist tinsel gems.

For the inside of the card, I inked up the flower from the Stampin’ Up! Inked and Tiled stamp set in Daffodil Delight ink. i used a Sponge Dauber to apply Calypso Coral ink to the center and stamped the flower on a Basic White panel. I stamped the sentiment in Old Olive ink next to the flower and used stamped off Petal Pink to stamp a light wood grain design under the sentiment.

The Timeless Arrangements dies make such sweet arrangements and they go so well with the Stampin’ Up! Inked and Tiled stamp set and Inked Botanicals designer series paper.

Stampin’ Up! Inked and Tiled Thank You Card

Good Morning! I used the Stampin’ Up! Inked and Tiled cling stamp set with the pretty Inked Botanicals 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to make a simple Thank You card. I love how the flowers in the stamp set are so similar to the flowers in the DSP and that’s what I tried to feature in this card. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered a panel of floral Inked Botanicals 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to the right side of of a Lost Lagoon mat and a small print pattern of the DSP to the left side. I adhered a strip of Lost Lagoon to cover the seam and wrapped a length of linen thread around it and tied a bow. I adhered the panel to the front of a Pool Party card base with dimensionals.

I used the largest circle from the Stylish Shapes dies to cut a Basic White panel and used sponge daubers to apply ink to the large floral stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Inked and Tiled cling stamp set. I used Calypso Coral on the large flower, Petal Pink on the small one and Lost Lagoon on the stems and leaves. I stamped the image on the die cut circle.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Inked and Tiled stamp set in Lost Lagoon ink next to the flower and stamped the stars in stamped off Pool Party. Actually, I think these may be seed pods like dandelions or milkweed – what do you think? I added iridescent pastel gems before adhering the circle to the card front with dimensionals..

For the inside of the card, I stamped the stars (or seed pods) from the Stampin’ Up! Inked and Tiled stamp set in stamped off Pool Party ink on the side of a Basic White panel and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

I love the images and sentiments in the pretty Stampin’ Up! Inked and Tiled stamp set. I was worried about using different colors of ink on a single stamp and I didn’t have my markers, so I’m glad that this came out so well by using sponge daubers. But I think there’s enough space between the flowers and stems, so it works out pretty well. And I like the image stamped in a single color too!

Join me for a Facebook Live This Afternoon!

I’ll be going live on my Facebook Business Page this afternoon to show a sneak peek of a pretty new bundle from the upcoming September – December 2023 Mini Catalog – the Translucent Florals bundle. I hope you can join me at 1:00 ET today!

Stampin’ Up! Inked and Tiled Note Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Inked and Tiled bundle has a sweet cling stamp set that is paired with two punches that make a unique and fun artistic combination. I used both the stamp set and punches along with the beautiful Inked Botanicals 6″ x 6″ designer series paper for a card that I loosely CASE’d from the 2023-2025 Annual Catalog. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered a panel of Inked Botanicals 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to the front of a Crushed Curry card base. I cut a Pool Party plaid panel of Inked Botanicals DSP in half and adhered each strip to the sides of the card front with liquid glue, being careful to line them up evenly.

I stamped the large flower from the Stampin’ Up! Inked and Tiled stamp set in Calypso Coral ink on Basic White. I stamped the leaf sprig next to the flower in Lost Lagoon ink. I stamped the wisps in stamped off Crushed Curry and the stars in Pool Party around the flower. I embossed the panel with the Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder and adhered the panel to an Inked Botanicals DSP mat. I adhered the layered piece to the card front with dimensionals, straddling the plaid DSP.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Inked and Tiled stamp set in Versamark ink on a Pool Party strip. I sprinkled it with gold embossing powder and shook off the excess. I heated the powder with my heat tool until it was bright and shiny. I used the x punch from the bundle to trim the ends and used my paper snips to trim the excess card stock from the top and bottom. I used the star punch from the bundle to trim the ends of a DSP strip to make a mat and adhered the label to the mat with liquid glue. I folded a length of Lost Lagoon ribbon and adhered it to the card with Stampin’ Seal and adhered the label over the ribbon with dimensionals. I finished the card with iridescent pastel gems.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the flower from the Stampin’ Up! Inked and Tiled stamp set in Calypso Coral ink in the corner of a Basic White panel. I stamped the leaf in Lost Lagoon and some wisps and stars in Pool Party and stamped off Crushed Curry. I trimmed the bottom with a strip of Inked Botanicals DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The pretty Stampin’ Up! Inked and Tiled bundle is pretty versatile. I love the style of the art, it looks like actual plants were inked up and used to stamp the images! The stamp set has pretty sentiments and the punches make a nice angular contrast with the soft florals.
