Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! The Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies bundle is a beautiful floral set that will be available next week when the new 2023-2024 Annual Catalog launches. I paired it with the retiring Country Gingham 6″ x 6″ designer series paper for a note card. You can find the currently available supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a sketch challenge for our Blog Hop this week:

I adhered a panel of retiring Layering Designs vellum to the front of a Balmy Blue card base with Stampin’ Seal. I embossed a Basic White panel with the Fern 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the card front. I adhered a Balmy Blue panel of Country Gingham 6″ x 6″ designer series paper on top of the embossed panel and there’s the card sketch for the challenge!

I cut all the dies for the three layered daisy flowers in the Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies dies from Basic White. I used Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends to color the flower centers on the large multi-flower die cut and cut the leaves off with my paper snips. I adhered the back die cut layers to each flower with liquid glue and recolored the centers with the light Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend. I adhered the top detailed die cut layers to each flower and adhered the flowers to the card with dimensionals.

I stamped six leaves from the Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies photopolymer stamp set in Garden Green ink on Basic White and cut them out with the coordinating die. I adhered them to the card front with a glue dot. I stamped the sentiment from the Happy Labels stamp set in Garden Green ink on Balmy Blue. I adhered it to a Basic White mat and adhered it to the card with glue dots. I finished the card with a Balmy Blue and white bow and gold sequins.

For the inside of the card, I trimmed the side of a Basic White panel with a strip of Country Garden DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal. This leaves plenty of room for a personal note.

Here’s the Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies bundle – the photopolymer stamp set and coordinating dies. It will be available on Tuesday, May 2 when the 2023-2024 Annual Catalog opens for orders!

I love the fresh look of white daisies against a blue background and the retiring Country Gingham 6″ x 6″ DSP is the perfect backdrop for the beautiful die cut daisies from the new Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies bundle.

Stampin’ Up! Daffodil Daydream Easter Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! The Stampin’ Up! Daffodil Daydream cling stamp set along with the Daffodil Dies is one of the best daffodil sets ever! I used them with the Celebrating You stamp set, the Framed Florets dies and the Country Gingham 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to make a sweet, simple Easter Card. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a Theme challenge this week and I think daffodils bring Spring cheer:

I adhered a panel of Country Gingham 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to the front of a Balmy Blue card base. I cut the large and smaller fancy oval dies from the Framed Florets dies and adhered them together before adhering them to the card front.

I stamped the beautiful large daffodil from the Stampin’ Up! Daffodil Daydream stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Basic White. I colored it with Granny Apple Green and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends and cut it out with the coordinating die from the Daffodil Dies. I adhered it to the card front with dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment from the Celebrating You cling stamp set inn Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Basic White and cut it out with the small oval die from the All That Dies.

I adhered the label to the card with glue dots and dimensionals. I made a bow from Balmy Blue and white ribbon and adhered it with glue dots. I finished the card with Iridescent rhinestones.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the small flower from the Stampin’ Up! Daffodil Daydream stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Basic White and colored it with Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends. I stamped the sentiment from the Celebrating You stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black and trimmed the bottom with a strip of Country Gingham 6″ x 6″ DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Daffodil Daydream images fit perfect in the gorgeous oval die cut from the Framed Floret Dies! Together, they make a sweet Easter Card!

The daffodils in my yard are coming up now! They’re such a nice sign of Spring. Do you have daffodils in your yard?

Stampin’ Up! Happy Labels Card

Good Morning! I CASE’d the Jan-Apr Mini Catalog and used the Stampin’ Up! Happy Labels bundle to make a friendship card. I was struck by the unique design of this pretty card along with the wonderful sentiments, so I just needed to copy it. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

The original card was a square card, but I wanted to make it a standard A2 size and I wanted to leave a small Fresh Freesia border around the front, so I adhered a panel of Fresh Freesia Butterfly Kisses 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to the front of a Fresh Freesia card base. I stamped the pretty floral image from the Hand Penned Petals stamp set in Sahara Sand ink on a Sahara Sand panel. I cut the panel twice horizontally into 1″ strips and trimmed the right sides with the scallops side of the Stampin’ Up! Happy Labels Pick A Punch. I distressed the edges of the strips with Sahara Sand ink using a sponge dauber and adhered them to the card front with liquid glue, leaving a thin space between the strips.

I punched a strip of Petal Pink Country Gingham 6″ x 6″ designer series paper with the ticket side of the Stampin’ Up! Happy Labels Pick A Punch and tied a linen thread bow around the other end. I adhered the DSP strip to the card front with dimensionals. I used the flower dies from the Pretty Pillowbox dies to cut flowers from Fresh Freesia, Flirty Flamingo and Petal Pink. I adhered the small flowers to the large flowers with glue dots and topped each with a gold Pastel Sequin.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Happy Labels stamp set in Versamark ink on Vellum. I sprinkled it with white embossing powder and shook off the excess. I heated it with my heat tool until it was bright and shiny and cut it out with the label die from the Something Fancy dies. I adhered the label to the card front with a little Stampin’ Seal applied behind the lettering. I adhered the flowers around the label using glue dots and dimensionals.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the flowers from the Hand Penned Petals stamp set using stamped off Sahara Sand ink in the corners of a Basic White panel. I stamped the sweet sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Happy Labels stamp set in Fresh Freesia ink and adhered a strip of Butterfly Kisses DSP to the bottom before adhering the panel to the inside of the card with Stamping’ Seal.

You can pick up the Happy Labels stamp set in both cling and photopolymer, whichever you prefer. That goes for both the stamp set and the bundle, so check your item numbers and descriptions carefully to get your favorite.

I love the technique of cutting the stamped panel into 1″ strips so that it fits in the Stampin’ Up! Happy Labels Pick A Punch! And I love the sentiments in the stamp set – you can get it in either cling or photopolymer. The little flowers from the Pillowbox dies are so sweet and I love how they are arranged with the vellum! The Stampin’ Up! catalogs have so many different ideas, so check them out when you need inspiration!
