Stampin’ Up! Beautiful World Congratulations Card

Happy St Patrick’s Day! Last week I made a very feminine floral congratulations card, and today I’m sharing a more masculine card made with the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful World bundle and the World of Good specialty designer series paper. The old world map theme of these products are so classic and make such elegant masculine cards. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

My card was also inspired by the current sketch challenge in Sunday Stamps SSC252.

I thought the grid layout would go well with the map themes in the World of Good DSP so I chose one for the background and adhered it to the front of a Crumb Cake card base. I chose another one to make the pattern for the sketch on the left side and adhered the pieces to my card front.

I used the World Map dies to cut the globe out of Misty Moonlight and Crumb Cake and the globe stand from Early Espresso and adhered them together with dots of liquid glue. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful World cling stamp set in Early Espresso on a strip of Misty Moonlight and cut it out with the label die from the Floral Gallery Dies.

I adhered the label to the card front with liquid glue and popped the globe and globe stand on with dimensionals – And the card front is done!!

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful World stamp set in Early espresso and the globe in Crumb Cake. I trimmed the bottom with a strip of World of Good DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Beautiful World bundle is perfect for masculine cards and the globe dies are incredibly detailed! It’s the perfect bundle for Congratulations cards – and graduation season is just around the corner!

As a side note, today is also my two year Blogaversary! Two years ago I started Stampin In The Meadows blog with this post and and 465 posts later, I’m here. I’ve learned so much in this journey! Thanks to all my followers!! ❤️

Stampin’ Up! Art Gallery Congratulations Card

Happy Friday! I pulled out the beautiful Stampin’ Up! Art Gallery bundle for a soft, feminine congratulations card to share today. I also added some touches of gold, including the Golden Garden acetate for some fun bling! You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of this post along with the sizes of card stock used.

I embossed a Basic White panel with the Painted Texture 3D embossing folder and brushed Pool Party ink on it with my blending brush, making a delicate soft blue background. I adhered the panel to the front of a Pool Party card base and adhered a panel of Golden Garden Acetate across the embossed panel. I used Stampin’ Seal in the middle where it Ould be hidden by the main art panel – don’t forget to peel off the acetate protective backing! I adhered a square vellum doily to the top with glue dots.

I stamped the large flower from the Stampin’ Up! Art Gallery photopolymer stamp set with Blushing Bride ink on Basic White. I stamped the coordinating detailed stamp in Flirty Flamingo on top. I inked up the center of the detailed stamp with Versamark ink and stamped a third time. I tamped the Versamark with a sponge dauber to soften any sharp edges and sprinkled the flower with heat and stick powder and heated it. I sprinkled it with a few gilding flakes and rubbed it in till smooth, giving me a light touch of gold in the flower center. I cut out the flower with the coordinating die and stamped the large stem in Shaded Spruce ink on basic White. I cut the stem out as well.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Art Gallery stamp set in Versamark ink on a strip of Pool Party and sprinkled it with Gold embossing powder. I heat set the powder until it was shiny and cut it out with the long label die. I cut a panel of the Fine Art Floral designer series paper with the Stitched Rectangles die and adhered it to a Pool Party mat. I adhered the label to the bottom of the panel with glue dots and adhered the leaves and stem on top. I popped the flower on with dimensionals and finished with a gold trim double bow on the stem. I adhered the panel to the card front with dimensional and finished it off with three gilded gems for a final touch of gold bling!

For the inside of the card, I the stamped the large flower and stem from the Stampin’ Up! Art Gallery stamp set in Blushing Bride, Flirty Flamingo and Shaded Spruce in the corners of a Basic White panel. I adhered a strip of Fine Art Floral DSP to the bottom of the panel and adhered it to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Art Gallery bundle is just beautiful! The two step stamps are fairly easy to use for stamping pretty modern flowers that turn out beautiful even when they aren’t perfectly lined up! The simple font in the sentiments are a perfect contrast with the ornate flowers. This was the first time I used the gilding flakes, but it definitely won’t be the last – they add a beautiful touch!

Stampin’ Up! Hydrangea Haven for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop I have a sneak peek of the pretty new Stampin’ Up! Hydrangea Haven bundle and the new Hydrangea Hill designer series paper from the new Jan-Jun 2021 Mini Catalog. You can find the currently available supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

We have a theme challenge this week, and the theme is that we are to use something new for our projects! So the Stampin’ Up! Hydrangea Haven bundle is perfect for today’s project!

I adhered a panel of the new Hydrangea Hill designer series paper to the front of a Highland Heather card base. I used the fancy die cut from the Ornate Layers Dies to cut out a large frame from Whisper White and adhered a smaller panel of Hydrangea Hill DSP to the center. I popped it on the card front with dimensionals.

I stamped the lined hydrangea image from the Stampin’ Up! Hydrangea Haven photopolymer stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Thick Whisper White card stock and colored it with Highland Heather and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends. I cut it out with the corresponding die from the Hydrangea Dies.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Hydrangea Haven stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Crumb Cake card stock and cut it out with the little tag die. I tied it around the die cut flower with linen thread and adhered the flower to the card front with dimensionals. I made a fluffy bow with more linen thread and adhered it to the flower to finish the card front.

I stamped the outline hydrangea flowers in the corners of a Whisper White panel using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and stamped over them with Highland Heather ink and the corresponding solid image stamp. I stamped the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and added a strip of Hydrangea Hill to the bottom before adhering it to the inside of the card.

The new Stampin’ Up! Hydrangea Haven bundle looks like it’s going to be very versatile and fun to play with. And the sentiments are really sweet, and I love that several of them are small enough to be stamped on the little flower tag like I did today. Check out the bundle in the picture below and remember that it will be available for purchase next week on January 5! Yay!!

Stampin’ Up! Boho Indigo Such Happy News Card

Good Morning! The pretty Stampin’ Up! Boho Indigo Product Medley has a little bit of everything – stamps, dies, designer series and specialty paper, embellishments, ribbons and pre-stamped die cuts. Everything coordinates in shades of blue – Night of Navy and Misty Moonlight – with touches of Garden Green, Gold and Very Vanilla. I used the stamps, dies and designer series paper to create my Such Happy News card for today. You can find the supplies used to create this card and the card stock cuts at the bottom of this post.

I adhered a panel of the dark Boho Indigo designer series paper to a Whisper White mat and then to the front of a Night of Navy card base with Stampin’ Seal. I cut a panel of the light floral Boho Indigo DSP with the large skinny Stitched Rectangle die and adhered it to the front.

I cut a vellum panel with the large stitched circle die from the Stitched Shapes dies and adhered it with Stampin Seal under the vase. I stamped the vase from the Stampin’ Up! Boho Indigo photopolymer stamp set in Night of Navy ink on Whisper White and cut it out with the coordinating die. I cut out the two leaves from Pear Pizzazz with the Stampin’ Up! Boho Indigo dies and sponged the ends of the leaves with Pear Pizzazz ink. I adhered the leaves to the card front with glue dots.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Boho Indigo stamp set in Versamark ink on a Night of Navy panel and sprinkled it with white Stampin’ Emboss powder. I heat set the powder until shiny and cut it out with the Stitched Rectangle die. I adhered the label and vase to the card front with dimensionals. I finished the card front with three pearl gemstones.

For the inside of the card, I stamped a flower and two designs from the Stampin’ Up! Boho Indigo stamp set in Night of Navy ink at the top of a Whisper White panel and I trimmed the bottom with a strip of the dark DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Product Medleys are the largest of the ‘kits’ with full sized packs of designer series paper, stamps and coordinating dies and embellishments. And the Stampin’ Up! Boho indigo Medley is a beautiful one with all the vases and mixed florals with geometric designs. Click on the picture below to get a full description of the contents in my Online Store.
