Stampin’ Up! Nuts About Squirrels Card

Good Morning! Have you seen all the squirrels out lately? They have been very busy in my neighborhood and I hope it doesn’t mean a harsh winter. But they inspired me to pull out the sweet Stampin’ Up! Nuts About Squirrels photopolymer stamp set to make a simple Fall Hello card. This is a fun two-step stamp set with the cutest squirrels that you can find in the current Annual Catalog. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered a panel of the falling leaves Celebrate Everything designer series paper to a Shaded Spruce mat with liquid glue and wrapped a length of Gray Granite baker’s twine around it three times and made a bow. I adhered the wrapped panel to the front of a Crushed Curry card base with dimennsionals.

I stamped the outline of the sweet squirrel from the Stampin’ Up! Nuts About Squirrels stamp set inn Soft Suede ink on Basic White. I stamped the filler stamp with the body and tail in Gray Granite, lining up the paws and tail. It’s nice to be able to line things up with the photopolymer stamps. I stamped the acorn top in Soft Suede and bottom in Crumb Cake. I cut the squirrel out with the second largest square from the Stylish Shapes dies and adhered it to a Shaded Spruce mat with liquid glue. I adhered the squirrel to the card front with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Nuts About Squirrels stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Granny Apple Green card stock. I cut it out with the smallest banner die from the Stylish Shapes dies and adhered it to the card with glue dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Nuts About Squirrels stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the leaf in Crushed Curry and the lines in the leaf in Memento Tuxedo Black – I love how well this leaf matches the leaves in the DSP! I trimmed the bottom with a strip of Celebrate Everything DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The squirrels in the Stampin’ Up! Nuts About Squirrels stamp set are so cute and sweet and they’re perfect for fall cards. The two-step stamping technique is pretty easy to do with this stamp set and there are so many coordinating stamps that compliment the squirrels. Have fun with this set!

Stampin’ Up! Cottage Wreaths Grateful Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! I have another Fall card made with the pretty Stampin’ Up! Cottage Wreaths bundle and the Leaf Fall 3D embossing folder. Today I paired them with the pretty Fall Celebrate Everything designer series paper. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a pretty sketch challenge this week:

I embossed a panel of Pear Pizzazz card stock with the Leaf Fall 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a Pear Pizzazz card base. I used a blending brush to apply Crumb Cake ink to the front of a panel of Celebrate Everything designer series paper.

I cut the panel with the fourth largest deckled rectangle die and embossed it with the Leaf Fall 3D embossing folder. I adhered it to a Basic Black mat and adhered it to the card front with liquid glue. I cut Shaded Spruce panel with the die from the Stampin’ Up! Cottage Wreaths bundle and adhered it to the card front with liquid glue. I colored a Textural Elements sprig with the dark Crumb Cake Stampin’ blend and adhered it to the card front with glue dots.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Cottage Wreaths photopolymer stamp set with in Memento Tuxedo Black on Pear Pizzazz. I cut it out with the Deckled Rectangles die by cutting one corner, moving the die and cutting the next corner and adhered the label to a Basic Black mat. I made a loopy linen thread bow and adhered it to the card with a glue dot before adhering the label with dimensionals. I finished the label with a Crushed Curry die cut leaf sprig and a red rhinestone jewel.

I used a blending Brush to apply Crumb Cake ink to a strip of Celebrate Everything DSP and adhered it to the bottom of a Basic White panel I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Cottage Wreaths is a great bundle for making wreath cards! There are so many stamping and die cutting options, you’re sure to find a style for any occasion!

Stampin’ Up! Scary Cute for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good morning! Welcome to the September Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop! The theme for this month’s hop is “Halloween Fun” and I am using the wonderful Stampin’ Up! Scary Cute bundle for my Halloween Card. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I cut a fishtail bottom on a panel of Celebrate Everything designer series paper to make a banner and adhered it to the front of a Rich Razzleberry card base.

I used blending brushes to create the background for the haunted house. I applied Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Rich Razzleberry and Night of Navy in layers building up the sky. I cut a mask for the hills and used it to cover the sky and applied Mossy Meadow ink with a blending brush to the bottom for the ground. I cut it out with the outline frame die from the Stampin’ Up! Scary Cute bundle. I cut out the haunted house from Basic Black and the moon from So Saffron and adhered them to the blended background die cut with liquid glue. I cut the frame from Basic Black and adhered it to the background with black dimensionals.

I adhered the little scene to the card front with liquid glue. I cut the bats from the Stampin’ Up! Scary Cute bundle from Basic Black and adhered three of them to the card front.

I wrapped the card front twice with black baker’s twine and made a bow. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Scary Cute cling stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Basic White and adhered it over the baker’s twine with black dimensionals.

For the inside of the card, I stamped little trick or treaters from the Stampin’ Up! Scary Cute stamp set in Rick Razzleberry ink on the bottom of a Basic White panel. I stamped the moon in Daffodil Delight and the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black. I adhered the rest of the bats with liquid glue and trimmed the bottom with a strip of Celebrate Everything DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Scary Cute bundle is such a cute and versatile Halloween set. The dies are wonderful, the trick or treater stamps are so cute in their costumes and the sentiments are perfect! They’re great for cards, tags and treat bag decorations.

Stampin’ Up! Cottage Wreaths 4th of July Card

Happy 4th of July! Here’s a simple 4th of July Celebration card made with the new Stampin’ Up! Cottage Wreaths bundle and the fun Celebrate Everything Host designer series paper. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I embossed a panel of Real Red with the Brick and Mortar 3D Embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a Real Red card base. I adhered four strips of the fireworks Celebrate Everything Host designer series paper to the card front with liquid glue.

I cut a Shaded Spruce panel with the double wreath die cut from the Country Wreaths dies in the Stampin’ Up! Cottage Wreaths bundle and I cut a Basic White panel with the single wreath die. I adhered the single wreath to the double wreath with glue dots and used glue dots to adhere the wreaths to the card front. I cut three sets of stars using the Give It A Whirl dies from Starry Sky glimmer paper and adhered the stars to the wreath. I adhered some of the stars with glue dots and some with pieces of dimensionals and doubled up some of the stars. I saved two stars for the inside of the card.

I stamped the sentiment from the Splendid Thoughts cling stamp set in Starry Sky on Basic White and cut it out with the Stylish Shapes dies. I adhered it to the card front with dimensionals. I colored a length of white crinkle ribbon with the dark Real Red Stampin’ Blend and made a bow. I adhered the bow to the wreath with dimensionals and added rhinestones to the star centers and label.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the leafy wreath from the Stampin’ Up! Cottage Wreaths photopolymer stamp set in Shaded Spruce in the corner of a Basic White panel. I adhered two stars to the wreath with liquid glue and trimmed the bottom of the panel with fireworks DSP before adhering the panel to the inside of the card.

I love red, white and blue door wreaths for the 4th of July and that’s my inspiration for today’s card, especially when I spotted the Stampin’ Up! Cottage Wreaths bundle in the new catalog. And I love watching the fireworks in the evening on the 4th of July – especially in the comfort of my living room on my big TV! Happy Independence Day!!
