Stampin’ Up! Bauble Blooms Christmas Card

Good Morning!! Have you started Christmas cards yet? For my first Christmas card of the year, I’m using the new Online Exclusive Stampin’ Up! Bauble Blooms bundle and I’ve paired it with the retired Take A Bow 6″ x 6″ designer series paper. You can find the card stock cuts for this card along with the supplies at the bottom of my post.

Adhere a panel of DSP to the front of a Real Red card base. Adhere another panel to a Garden Green mat and pop it on the card with dimensionals. Stamp the leaves from the Stampin’ Up! Bauble Blooms stamp set twice using Garden Green ink on Basic White panels. Stamp the outline floral images twice using Real Red ink over the stamped leaves.

Cut one of the stamped images out with the ornament die from the Stampin’ Up! Bauble Blooms dies. Cut the flowers and leaves out from the second image using the detailed die. Color the die cut flowers with the Melon Mambo watercolor pencil and Blender Pen. Adhere the die cut flowers and leaves to the ornament with dimensionals.

Cut a leaf sprig from Garden Green using the Label Me Grateful dies and adhere it to the card with glue dots. Cut the large ornament holder from Silver foil using the Stampin’ Up! Bauble Blooms dies and adhere it to the ornament with liquid glue. Tie a Real Red ribbon around the ornament holder hole and pop the ornament on the card with dimensionals. Finish with Cherry Cobbler dots.

Stamp the sentiments from the Stampin’ Up! Bauble Blooms stamp set using Real Red ink on Basic White and trim the bottom with DSP. Adhere the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The ornament from Stampin’ Up! You Are Remarkable bundle is real pretty in Real Red and Garden Green and the two step stamping technique is really nice for outlining the flowers in Real Red. The challenge was to color the flowers light enough to contrast with the lines and the watercolor pencils worked perfect.

Unfortunately the Take A Bow DSP is retired, so if you don’t have any leftover from last year, take heart because next month a new release of Online Exclusives and a new Mini Catalog are coming out and there are several options for Christmas papers that will work beautifully with this design (as well as any other Christmas papers you may have in your stash).

Thanks so much for stopping by and Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Wonderful Thoughts Congratulations Card

Good Morning! It’s Graduation season and I always like to make feminine Congratulations cards for the young ladies getting diplomas and degrees. With all the pretty new floral designer series papers that have just come out, there are so many fresh options to use with the Stampin’ Up! Wonderful Thoughts stamp set and dies for a quick card or gift card holder. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I folded the 1-1/4″ end of the Darling Duckling card base to the inside and adhered the ends with Tear-N-Tape to make a pocket for a standard gift card.

I adhered a panel of the Floral Impressions DSP to the dark side of a Garden Green two tone mat and adhered it to the front of the card with liquid glue.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Wonderful Thoughts stamp set using Pecan Pie ink on Basic White and cut it out with the coordinating die. I cut the large background die from the light side of the Garden Green two tone card stock and adhered the word to the background. I adhered Darling Duckling ribbon to the card with Stampin’ Seal and popped the layered label on top with dimensionals. I finished with three pearls.

For the inside of the card, I adhered a panel of Garden Green Floral Impressions DSP to the bottom of a Basic White panel. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Wonderful Thoughts stamp set using Pecan Pie ink and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

I love how the inside panel DSP trim peeks out when the card is closed. The coordinating word stamps and dies in the Stampin’ Up! Wonderful Thoughts stamps and dies make the gift card holder both easy and fancy. And the wonderful floral and coordinating geometric patterns in the Floral impressions DSP makes it pretty!

Stampin’ Up! Sunshine Vibes for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! Have you seen the fun new Stampin’ Up! Sunshine Vibes bundle from the new Annual Catalog? This set has wonderful sentiments, bold sun and moon stamps and fun, unique rainbow dies that coordinate with the bold Boho Vibes 6″ x 6″ designer series paper. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a pretty sketch challenge this week:

I adhered a colorful rainbow pattern of Boho Vibes 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to the front of a Cloud Cover card base with liquid glue. I love the non traditional rainbow colors and graphic designs in this DSP pack! I stamped the little sun from the Stampin’ Up! Sunshine Vibes stamp set using Versamark ink in the corners of a Petal Pink panel of the DSP and sprinkled it with white embossing powder. I shook off the excess powder and heated it with my heat tool until it was bright and shiny. I stamped the leaf sprig using Secret Sea ink between the sun bursts and cut it out with the 4th largest Textured Notes rectangle die.

I adhered the die cut rectangle to a Secret Sea mat with liquid glue. I used the Stampin’ Up! Sunshine Vibes dies to cut the little rainbow from Darling Duckling, leaf sprigs from Cajun Craze and Mossy Meadow and the hearts from Cloud Cover. I adhered the die cuts to the panel with dots of liquid glue and wrapped a length of Night of Navy Linen Thread (from the Natural Tones Linen Thread on Last Chance list) around the panel and tied a bow.

I stamped the sentiments from the Stampin Up! Sunshine Vibes stamp set using Secret Sea ink on Basic White and cut it out with the long Textured Notes die. I adhered the label to the die cut panel with dimensionals and adhered the panel to the card with dimensionals. I finished with three Darling Duckling dots.

For the inside of the card I stamped the leaf cluster from the Stampin’ Up! Sunshine Vibes stamp set using Secret Sea ink on Basic White. I trimmed the bottom with DSP and adhered three more die cut Cloud Cover hearts. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

I love that I was able to use embossing, stamping and die cutting to create the little scene on the designer series paper – it was fun to combine all these techniques. I was inspired by the cute tags on pg 61 of the new Annual Catalog and I’m glad that my adaptation still works on the rectangle die cut. The decorated edges of the Textured Notes dies goes perfectly with the modern graphics in the DSP. I hope I’ve inspired you to check out the Stampin’ Up! Sunshine Vibes bundle!

Stampin’ Up! Impressions Abloom Book Fold Card

Good Morning! Here is a Book Fold card made with the new Stampin’ Up! Impressions Abloom bundle and the pretty Floral Impressions designer series paper. These are from the latest Online Exclusives release a few weeks ago. I also used new In Colors – Strawberry Slush and Darling Duckling. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

After scoring my Darling Duckling card base, I adhered the ‘book’ section on the left side together using liquid glue. I adhered the pretty Floral Impressions DSP to light Garden Green mats and adhered the panels to the card front with liquid glue.

The Stampin’ Up! Impressions Abloom stamps are designed for two-step stamping with a detailed stamp and a background stamp for each image. I stamped the detailed stamps first and lined up the background stamps afterward. For the large flower, I used Strawberry Slush for the detailed stamp and stamped off Pretty In Pink for the background. I used Pecan Pie and Crushed Curry for the flower center and Garden Green and stamped off Granny Apple Green for the leaves. After stamping, I cut each image with the coordinating dies and used a ball stylus and a foam pad to make little circles on the back of the die cuts to make domes on the petals, leaves and flower center. This gives each piece dimension. I adhered the flower center using dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Impressions Abloom stamp set using Versamark ink on Strawberry Slush. I sprinkled it with white embossing powder, shook off the excess and heated it with my heat tool until it was bright and shiny. I cut it out with a rectangle from the Nesting Essentials dies and adhered it to the card with glue dots. I adhered the layered flower to the card with glue dots and tucked the leaves underneath, adhering them with more glue dots. I wrapped the side with Strawberry Slush ribbon, tying a know and securing it with another glue dot. I finished with beautiful Darling Duckling iridescent dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the flower, flower center and leaves from the Stampin’ Up! Impressions Abloom stamp set using the same colors as the front in the corner of a Basic White panel. I trimmed the bottom with DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Impressions Abloom bundle is so versatile with stamped floral images, die cuts and pretty sentiments. All the pretty new designer series papers and stamps are so inspiring and really motivate me for Spring card making.

Stampin’ Up! Loveliest Tree for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good Morning! Welcome to the May Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop! The theme for this month’s hop is “For the Boys/Men” and I used the the returning Stampin’ Up! Loveliest Tree stamp set and dies to make a masculine birthday card. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

I used a panel of the new Beautiful Gallery designer series paper for my background, but I wanted a blue sky, so I used a sponge dauber to apply Balmy Blue ink to the sky and it worked out pretty well! So I adhered it to a Crumb Cake mat and wrapped it with Crumb Cake baker’s twine and tied a knot before popping it on an Old Olive card base with dimensionals.

I cut a Basic Beige panel with the small frame from the Gallery Blooms dies and embossed it with the Birch 3D embossing folder. I adhered it to the card with dimensionals.

I stamped the tree from the Stampin’ Up! Loveliest Tree stamp set using Early Espresso ink on Basic Beige and colored it with Crumb Cake and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends. I cut it out with the coordinating die.and popped it on the card with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Loveliest Tree stamp set using Early Espresso ink on Old Olive and cut the banner end with my paper snips. I adhered it to the card with glue dots and dimensionals and finished with some retired Old Olive dots that you can still find on the Last Chance list with a nice discount while supplies last.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the leaves from the Stampin’ Up! Loveliest Tree stamp set using Old Olive ink in the corner of a Basic White panel. I trimmed the side with DSP – again after sponging Balmy Blue ink on the sky – and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Loveliest Tree stamp set has the prettiest tree image that looks great colored or simply stamped. It has nice sentiments and the dies are pretty nice too. It’s perfect for masculine cards.

Stampin’ Up! Sweet Blooms Hello Card

Good Morning! Today’s card is is inspired from the cards found on p45 of the new Annual Catalog using the new Stampin’ Up! Sweet Blooms bundle. I turned it into a Fun Fold card where the inside uses the pretty Florals In Bloom designer series paper. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I stamped the leaf sprig from the Stampin’ Up! Sweet Blooms stamp set using Secret Sea ink along the sides of the Secret Sea card base panel. It’s hard to see from the pictures, but it gives the card stock background a little texture. I scored and burnished the 5-1/2″ x 7-1/2″ panel of Florals in Bloom designer series paper at 3-1/4″ and 6-1/2″ and adhered the 1″ section down with liquid glue. Then I adhered the DSP card base to the stamped card stock panel with liquid glue.

I applied adhesive sheets to the back of Blackberry Bliss and cut out the Stampin’ Up! Sweet Blooms detailed lovely die and cut out the coordinating background die from Basic White. I peeled the adhesive sheet backing and adhered the two die cuts together and adhered it to the card with glue dots, being careful not to go past the left DSP fold.

I stamped the hello from the Stampin’ Up! Sweet Blooms stamp set in Petunia Pop ink on Basic White and adhered it to a Blackberry Bliss mat before popping it on the card with dimensionals. I finished with Blackberry Bliss dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the leaf & stems from the Stampin’ Up! Pretty Blooms stamp set using Garden Green ink on Basic White. I used three times stamped off Secret Sea for the flowers – with this combo, I found it easier to stamp the stems first. I used the Cloud Cover and Secret Sea Stampin’ Write markers to add flicks to the flowers to add some depth. I planned an even border, but I cut it 4-3/4″ instead of 5-1/4″, so it’s a little short, but I think it looks pretty good, so I left it. I love that you can see DSP on the inside of the front flap!

This picture is the best for seeing the tone on tone leaf sprig stamping on the card stock. I love card designs where you can see both sides of pretty designer series paper and the Florals in Bloom paper is so pretty! And the sentiments and dies in the Stampin’ Up! Sweet Blooms bundle are great and so easy to use. I hope you are loving the items in the new Annual Catalog as much as I am!

Stampin’ Up! Textured Notes for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! I used the wonderful Stampin’ Up! Textured Notes bundle from the March Online Exclusives release with some new products from to make a thank you card for today. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a pretty sketch challenge this week, and I interpreted it on a portrait card:

I selected the landscape section from one of the panels of the Beautiful Gallery 6″ x 6″ designer series paper and cut it to 2-1/2″ x 4″. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Textured Notes stamp set on the panel using Pecan Pie ink. I used the long side of one of the Stampin’ Up! Textured Notes rectangle dies to cut the top and bottom of the Pecan Pie panel and adhered the DSP to the die cut panel.

I stamped the large leaf cluster from the Stampin’ Up! Textured Notes stamp set using Mossy Meadow ink on a fairly plain panel of Beautiful Gallery DSP. I stamped it in the top right corner and then again in the lower left section. I stamped the woven circle basket using Crumb Cake ink and adhered the panel to the front of a Basic Beige card base. I cut a Basic White panel with the floral die from the Beautiful Motifs dies and snipped it in the middle. I adhered the two sections to the card with glue dots.

I wrapped the landscape panel twice with linen thread and tied a bow before adhering it to the card with dimensionals and finished with a textured metallic dot near the sentiment.

For the inside of the card I stamped the leaf cluster and woven circle basket from the Stampin’ Up! Textured Notes stamp set using Mossy Meadow and Crumb Cake inks on Basic White. I trimmed the top and bottom with dSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The gorgeous Beautiful Gallery 6″ x 6″ DSP is so versatile and the landscapes make nice focal points for cards. I was pleased that the images from the Stampin’ Up! Textured Notes stamp set would compliment the DSP so well and of course those rectangle dies make wonderful bordered mats!

Stampin’ Up! Impressions Abloom Card

Good Morning! Welcome the new Stampin’ Up! 2025-2026 Annual Catalog! Today is the first day that the catalog is open for orders! It’s full of new products and returning favorites. Click on the picture below to download a copy or view it online.

In addition to the new catalog, a new release of Online Exclusive products is available today and I used one of the new bundles, the Stampin’ Up! Impressions Abloom bundle to make a quick card. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I used the Basic White Note cards and envelopes for my card base – the card size is 3-1/2″ x 5″ and they are also good for mailing. I adhered a panel of Pool Party Floral Impressions designer series paper to a Pool Party mat.

I used the large and small flower dies from the Stampin’ Up! Impressions Abloom dies with the inserts to cut a Strawberry Slush panel. Strawberry Slush is one of the new 2025-2027 In Colors. I used a sponge dauber to apply Strawberry Slush ink to the center of the large die cut flower and the edges of both flowers. I curved the petals of the large flower downward and the petals of the small flower upwards with my fingers to give it dimension and adhered the flowers together with a glue dot. I cut the small flower center with the two sets of dies from Timid Tiger, another new 2025-2027 In Color, and adhered the flower center with a dimensional.

I cut the single stem and two leaf dies from the Stampin’ Up! Impressions Abloom dies from Mossy Meadow card stock and adhered the stem to the back of the flower with a glue dot. I adhered the flower and leaves to the DSP panel with glue dots. I wrapped the panel with white ribbon tying a knot over the stem and adhered the panel to the front of a Basic White note card with dimensionals. I finished the card with Pool Party dots. The stamp set has pretty sentiments, but I didn’t use one for this card and I also left the inside blank.

The Stampin’ Up! Impressions Abloom stamps have pretty two step stamping florals and sentiments. And the dies are unique in that they can cut stamped images or be used with the inserts for textured flowers like I made for today’s card. And it’s finally available today!!
