Stampin’ Up! Wanted To Say Feel Better Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Wanted to Say dies have wonderful layered sentiments for a variety of occasions. I used the Feel Better Soon sentiment with the Garden Walk and One Horse Open Sleigh 6″ x 6″ designer series papers for a quick get well card. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I adhered a floral strip of Garden Walk 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to a Mossy Meadow panel of One Horse Open Sleigh 6″ x 6″ designer series paper with liquid glue. I adhered the layered panel to the front of a Calypso Coral card base and tied a length of Calypso Coral ribbon around the card and made a bow.

I used the Feel Better Soon sentiment dies from the Stampin’ Up! Wanted To Say dies to cut a Wild Wheat backing and Poppy Parade detailed letters. I adhered the detailed letters to the backing with liquid glue and adhered the layered words to the card front with dimensionals. The great thing is that the words are all one piece!

I accented the front with three Garden Green iridescent pearls. So quick and easy!

For the inside of the card, I adhered a strip of Garden Walk DSP to the side of a Very Vanilla panel. I cut the stem and leaves from Mossy Meadow and flower from Poppy Parade using the dies from the Stampin’ Up! Wanted To Say dies. I adhered them to the inside panel and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

This mix of designer series papers are perfect for fall and makes a cheerful get well card. And I was so surprised when I realized that this card has no stamping – the Stampin’ Up! Wanted To Say dies do all the work!

Stampin’ Up! Cottage Wreaths Grateful Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Cottage Wreaths photopolymer stamp set and coordinating Country Wreaths dies are a great set for making wreath cards. The weather has gotten cold and I wanted to make some Fall themed cards, so I pulled these out and combined them with the Inked And Tiled stamp set to make a Thanksgiving card. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I adhered a plaid panel of Them Bones designer series paper to the front of a Cajun Craze card base with liquid glue. I wanted a floral panel to coordinate, but the Them Bones DSP only had bats and skeletons, so I decided to make one. I stamped a Pumpkin Pie panel with the flower from the Inked and Tiled stamp set in Cajun Craze ink. I stamped randomly all over the panel. I stamped the little fluff stamp in stamped off Pebbled Path ink randomly around the panel. Finally I embossed the panel with the Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder and adhered it to a Cajun Craze mat. I popped it on the card front with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Cottage Wreaths stamp set in Cajun Craze ink on the bottom of a Crumb Cake panel and cut it out with the tag die from the Merriest Trees dies. I cut a Cajun Craze panel with the wreath from the Country Wreath dies and adhered it to the tag with a glue dot. I looped a length of Pebbled Path jute through the tag hole and tied a knot and popped the tag on the card front with dimensionals.

I used my dark Cajun Craze Stampin’ Blend to color a length of gingham ribbon and tied a bow. I adhered the bow to the top of the wreath with a glue dot – I love how it picks up on the plaid background! I finished the wreath with Pebbled Path gems.

I left the inside of the card blank, and just adhered a strip of Plaid DSP to the bottom of a Very Vanilla panel before adhering it to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

This was a fun diversion from Christmas cards. Making your own DSP is always fun, and it’s great that I’m able to match ink colors to DSP and get a look that coordinates well. And I’m glad that I was able to use the Stampin’ Up! Cottage Wreaths stamp set again, it’s one of my favorites!

Stampin’ Up! Joy Of Noel for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! I used the pretty Stampin’ Up! Joy Of Noel bundle with the beautiful Joy of Christmas designer series paper for a gate fold Christmas card. And I also used the pretty holiday greenery frame from the Christmas Classics dies to really make it fancy. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a color challenge this week and thanks to the pretty designer series paper, I managed to get all the colors in my card!

I adhered the floral panels of Joy of Christmas designer series paper to Shaded Spruce mats and adhered them to the two front flaps of a Real Red gatefold card base. I cut a mottled Shaded Spruce panel of the DSP with the pretty square greenery frame from the Christmas Classics dies. I cut a red plaid panel of the DSP with the small square die and adhered them together with liquid glue.

I stamped the NOEL letters from the Stampin’ Up! Joy of Noel stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink on Basic White. I cut the letters out with the coordinating die and adhered them to the DSP frame with liquid glue. I applied liquid glue to the back left side of the frame and adhered it to the card front, so that it sticks only to the left flap of the card front.

I stamped the Joyous sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Joy of Noel stamp set in Versamark ink and sprinkled it with white embossing powder. I shook off the excess powder and heated it with my heat tool until it was bright and shiny. I fussy cut around the letters with my paper snips and popped it on the card front with dimensionals. I finished the card front with rhinestone gems.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Very Best Occasions stamp set in Real Red ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped part of the small spray from the Stampin’ Up! Joy Of Noel stamp set in the corner using Pebbled Path ink and colored it with Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive and Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card. I also adhered red plaid panels of Joy of Christmas DSP to the inside of the front flaps.

The Stampin’ Up! Joy of Noel bundle has beautiful greenery stamps and dies and the NOEL stamp is just gorgeous! It goes so well with the Christmas Classics bundle and is perfect with the Joy of Christmas designer series paper for a beautiful traditional Christmas card.

Stampin’ Up! Regal Reindeer for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good Morning! Welcome to the November Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop! The theme for this month’s hop is “Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays” and I used the Stampin’ Up! Regal Reindeer stamp set and coordinating Reindeer dies to make a Christmas card. I paired it with the pretty One Horse Open Sleigh designer series paper for a rustic woodland look. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

I adhered a panel of woodgrain One Horse Open Sleigh 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to the bottom of a woodland scene with liquid glue and adhered the layered DSP panel to a Lost Lagoon mat. I wrapped a length of gold ribbon around the seam and tied a bow. I popped the panel to the front of a Pool Party card base with dimensionals.

I stamped the pretty Merry Christmas sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Regal Reindeer cling stamp set in Versamark ink on a Crumb Cake panel. I sprinkled it with gold embossing powder and shook off the excess. I heated the powder with my heat tool until it was bright and shiny. I cut the sentiment out with the label die from the Autumn Leaves dies and adhered it to the card with dimensionals.

I cut the reindeer from Pebbled Path card stock using the die from the Reindeer dies that coordinate with the Stampin’ Up! Regal Reindeer stamp set. I popped the reindeer on the card with dimensionals, cutting them small to fit behind the hooves and antlers.

I adhered a large red rhinestones to the label and adhered some small ones to the pine tree in the DSP with bits of glue dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Regal Reindeer stamp set in Lost Lagoon on a Basic White panel. I stamped snow around the top in Pool Party ink and adhered a strip of DSP to the side before adhering the Basic White panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The One Horse Open Sleigh 6″ x 6″ designer series paper is one of my favorites for Christmas this year and the Stampin’ Up! Regal Reindeer sentiments are so pretty with it – and I love the Reindeer die cut!

Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine Sneak Peek

Good Morning! Last weekend Stampin’ Up! had the On Stage At Home event, celebrating demonsrators’ achievements, Stampin’ Up!’s 35th Anniversary and introducing the upcoming January – April 2024 Mini Catalog. And we made Valentine cards with the new Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine bundle that will be available when the new mini catalog launches on January 4, 2024. You can find the currently available products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

Stampin’ Up! demonstrators who attended the virtual event were able to purchase the Bee Mine suite early so we could participate in the craft along part. This included the Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine bundle, Bee Mine designer series paper, Sweet Sorbet bordered ribbon, and adhesive backed flowers and hearts. These are my versions of the sample cards we made and I made some changes to personalize the cards.

The first card uses the honeycomb stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine stamp set and Daffodil Delight ink to give texture to a Daffodil Delight panel. I embossed it with the dots embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a Daffodil Delight card base. I adhered two panels of Bee Mine DSP and stamped the bee in Daffodil Delight and Memento Tuxedo Black on Basic White. I punched the bee out with the Bee Builder Punch and assembled the bee with liquid glue before popping it on the DSP with dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment in Sweet Sorbet ink on Petal Pink and adhered some ribbon to the back with glue dots before adhering it to the card with dimensionals. I finished with some flower and heart embellishments.

For our second card, I adhered some Bee Mine DSP to a Basic White panel. I stamped the bee trail from the Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine stamp set in stamped off Pool Party ink on a Pool Party panel and the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black. I adhered the panel to the layered DSP panel and popped it on the card front with dimensionals. I stamped the bee in Daffodil Delight and Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Basic White. I stamped the antenna in Memento Tuxedo Black and the wings in Pool Party. I used a water painter to give the wings a quick Pool Party color wash before cutting everything out with the Bee Builder Punch. I assembled the bee with liquid glue and popped it on the card with dimensionals. I finished with the pretty hearts and flowers embellishments.

Here are the insides of the cards. I stamped the sentiments, hearts and flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine bundle in Sweet Sorbet, Petal Pink, Lemon Lime Twist and Memento Tuxedo Black on Basic White panels. I adhered the panels to the inside of the cards with Stampin’ Seal.

It was fun to play with new products and these cards are sweet and relatively easy to make. The Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine stamp set has so many different sentiments and designs, so it’s pretty versatile! Here’s the bundle with the stamp set and punch.

It was great to see and play with the new products that will be available on January 4, 2024 when the new mini catalog launches. January will be exciting with so many pretty new items! But now I need to get back to Christmas cards!

Stampin’ Up! Translucent Florals for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! Here is a floral birthday card made with the pretty Stampin’ Up! Translucent Florals bundle. My background uses the beautiful Delightful Floral designer series paper, but it features the flip side to create an ombre color block look. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a sketch challenge this week:

I adhered three panels of Delightful Floral designer series paper to a Basic White panel with liquid glue – Pretty Peacock, Parakeet Party and Pool Party. I trimmed the ends to make sure I had clean lines (I am so bad at keeping lines straight and you may not have to do this). I stamped the sprig from the Stampin’ Up! Textured Floral stamp set in Pretty Peacock ink on the background and embossed the layered panel with the Painted Texture 3D embossing folder. I adhered the panel to the front of a Pretty Peacock card base.

I stamped the large flower from the Stampin’ Up! Translucent Floral cling stamp set in Berry Burst ink on Basic White and the middle flower in Calypso Coral. I inked up the large leaf cluster in Parakeet Party ink and used a sponge dauber to add Pretty Peacock ink around the edge. I stamped it on Basic White and cleaned up the stamp and repeated it so I had two clusters. I also used the same technique on the double leaf stamp. I cut out all the flowers and leaves with the coordinating dies.

I adhered the leaf clusters to the card front with glue dots and adhered the flowers and double leaf die cuts on top with dimensionals. I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Translucent Floral stamp set in Pretty Peacock ink on a Pool Party panel of Delightful Floral DSP. I cut it out with the large short banner die from the Stylish Shapes dies and adhered it to the card with glue dots. I finished the arrangement with a Pool Party bow and Parakeet Party Tinsel Gems.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Translucent Floral stamp set in Pretty Peacock ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the small flower in Perry Burst ink next to the sentiment and used a Pretty Peacock Stampin’ Write marker to make a stem and leaf. I stamped the double leaf in the corners of the panel using the same sponging technique and colors as the leaves on the front. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Translucent Floral bundle is so pretty and I love the Delightful Floral designer series paper!

Stampin’ Up! Brightest Glow Seasons Greetings Card

Good Morning! Have you seen the pretty Z-fold cards that use gorgeous scenic designer series paper for the card front? I used the sentiments from the pretty Stampin’ Up! Brightest Glow cling stamp set with the One Horse Open Sleigh designer series paper to make one for today. You can find the currently products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I started by cutting 3/4″ off the top of a 6″ x 6″ One Horse Open Sleigh panel so that it was 5-1/4″ x 6″. Then I cut 2″ off the right side so that I had a right side 4″ x 5-1/4″ panel for the card front and a 2″ x 5-1/4″ panel for the inside of the card. Since I chose a simple, serene icy blue landscape, I decided to dress it up a bit by adding some silver embossed trees.

I stamped the tree from the Horse and Sleigh stamp set in Versamark ink twice on the large panel and once on the small panel. I sprinkled the stamped trees with silver embossing powder, shook off the excess and heated the powder with my heat tool until it was bright and shiny. I adhered the large DSP panel to a Misty Moonlight card base with liquid glue by applying the glue to the left half of the embossed panel.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Brightest Glow stamp set in Misty Moonlight ink on the right side of a Basic White panel and adhered the small embossed One Horse Open Sleigh DSP panel to the left side. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with liquid glue and checked to make sure it was covered by the front DSP panel when the card was closed.

I stamped the Seasons Greetings sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Brightest Glow stamp set in Misty Moonlight ink on a Basic White strip and adhered it to the card front with dimensionals. I adhered some adhesive strip to the back of a silver foil panel and cut the tree from the Horse and Sleigh dies. I peeled off the adhesive back and adhered it to the card front.

I tied a knot in a length of silver and white sheer ribbon and adhered it to the label with a glue dot. I adhered snowflakes and silver pearls to the card to finish.

Making a fun fold is a great way to make a handmade card extra special and this is a super simple design, especially when you have beautiful scenic designer series paper. I love how the back of the paper is also part of the card design. And the Stampin’ Up! Brightest Glow stamp set with it’s beautiful sentiments are the perfect compliment!

Stampin’ Up! Garden Meadow Hello Card

Good Morning! On Tuesday, a new set of Online Exclusives will be available for ordering, and I have a little sneak peek of one of the new bundles – the Stampin’ Up! Garden Meadow bundle! This is a sweet gardening themed photopolymer stamp and die set and I used it with the pretty new Meandering Meadows 6″ x 6″ designer series paper that will also be available. You can find the currently available products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I adhered a panel of Meandering Meadow 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to the front of an Orchid Oasis card base with liquid glue. This paper has pretty Springtime landscapes with meadows full of flowers – I love them! I used the arch die to cut the back of another panel and used the outside frame. I stamped hello sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Garden Meadow stamp set in Orchid Oasis ink on a strip of Vellum and after a few minutes of drying, I adhered it to the back of the arch with glue dots. I loaded the arch with dimensionals and popped it onto the card front.

I stamped the wheelbarrow from the Stampin’ Up! Garden Meadow stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Basic White and colored it with Stampin’ Blends. I used Wild Wheat, Smoky Slate, Pebbled Path and Orchid Oasis on the wheelbarrow and Calypso Coral, Old Olive and Daffodil Delight on the flowers. I cut it out with the coordinating die and adhered it to the card front with dimensionals.

I adhered a Petal Pink striped bow to the wheelbarrow and some pretty brass birds to the card front to finish.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Garden Meadow stamp set in Orchid Oasis on a Basic White panel. I stamped the flowers next to it in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it with Daffodil Delight and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends. I trimmed the side with a strip of DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

These new products are so beautiful and the Springtime scenes will be fun to play with when you need a break from Christmas crafting. Or they will be perfect for making a set of cards to give as Christmas presents! You can find all the details of the Stampin’ Up! Garden Meadow bundle and the Meandering Meadow 6″ x 6″ designer series paper below. These products will be available on Tuesday. Unfortunately the pretty bird embellishments are currently out of stock, but are expected to be back during the week of Nov 27.

New Online Exclusives are Coming Nov 7, 2023

A new selection of pretty Springtime Online Exclusive products will be available soon. Online Exclusives won’t appear in any catalog and are only available in the Online Store while supplies last. Click on the image below to download a PDF with a sneak peek:

Stampin’ Up! October Paper Pumpkin Kit – Home For The Holidays

Good Friday Morning! Things got a little mixed up with my Paper Pumpkin kit last month with all my travel and my box was totally crushed when I finally received it. So sad because it was a pretty box. But, the card bases were crumpled too. I don’t understand how this happened because the kits are shipped with a super thick chipboard backing. So I couldn’t make the cards as designed. Luckily the cut outs and card fronts were ok, so I was challenged to come up with alternative designs. And it worked out pretty well – I came up with three fun fold designs! I’ll list my card stock cuts at the end of my post.

Here’s the October 2023 Paper Pumpkin kit unboxing video from the Paper Pumpkin YouTube channel. It shows the kit contents and steps for making the cards according to directions – they are so pretty!

So for my first card, I came up with a book binder fun fold. I cut the landscape card front to 4″ x 4″ and adhered it to a Night of Navy card base. I trimmed the long house cut out so that the houses could be centered and popped it on top with dimensionals. I had to make another snow bank to go across the bottom and sponged it wit Balmy Blue ink to blend in. I used a large tree cut out to hide the sharp edge of the blue house and stamped the sentiment in Night of Navy. I used some One Horse Open Sleigh DSP, Real Red ribbon and gold snowflakes to finish.

For the inside, I stamped the pretty sentiment in Night of Navy and decorated the corner with a house and tree cut out.

For my second card, I made an accordion fun fold and used the card base and pieces for the portrait style card. I used a Sweet Sorbet card base scored at 3″, 6″, 7-1/2″, 9″ and 10″ and cut the original card base to 4″ x 5-1/4″. I cut the other two cut outs to 4″ wide and adhered them to the front of each pleat. I stamped the sentiment in Sweet Sorbet and added a Real Red Bow and white snowflake to the label.

For the inside of this card, I stamped the sentiment in Sweet Sorbet and the snowflakes in Balmy Blue.

For my last card I made a center flap panel card and cut the portrait card base to 3″ x 4″. I adhered a panel of Real Red One Horse Open Sleigh DSP to a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ Night of Navy card base and adhered a mini card with the houses on top. I stamped the sentiment in Sweet Sorbet and managed to fit in a glitter backing. I popped a small tree cut out next to the sentiment and finished with gold snowflakes.

And for the inside, I stamped Balmy Blue Snowflakes across the top with a Sweet Sorbet sentiment (I wish I stamped the sentiment a little lower though).

This was such a great kit – I love the folk art houses and traditional colors! And I forgot about the glitter glue! I used it on all the roof tops and windows and let it dry for about 1 hour. I haven’t used glitter glue in a long time and had forgotten how nice it is to make your snow sparkle!

And as for my kit, I called Stampin’ Up! and luckily they’re able to send me a replacement. This company stands strong behind their guarantee!

Stampin’ Up! Merriest Trees for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! One of my favorite Christmas bundles is the Stampin’ Up! Merriest Trees bundle and I used it today with the beautiful Winter Meadow designer series paper for a Christmas card. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a Theme challenge this week and and it’s perfect because I have so many more Christmas cards to make!

I adhered a panel of Winder Meadow designer series paper to the front of a Lost Lagoon mat and wrapped it with Silver and Sheer White ribbon and made a bow. I popped the panel on the front of a Smoky Slate card base with dimensionals.

I stamped a panel of mottled Lost Lagoon Winter Meadow DSP with the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Merriest Trees bundle in Versamark ink. I sprinkled it with white embossing powder and shook off the excess. I heated the powder with my heat tool until it was bright and shiny and cut it out with the second largest tree die. I cut a small panel of silver foil with he two stars and adhered them together and adhered thhem to the tree top.

I cut a vellum panel with the third largest Scalloped Contours die. I embossed it with the pretty Snowflake Sky 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Seal. I popped the die cut Christmas Tree on top with dimensionals and decorated it with light green pearls.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Merriest Trees stamp set in Lost Lagoon ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the snowflakes in Smoky Slate and trimmed the bottom of the panel with a strip of DSP. I adhered the panel to a to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Merriest Trees bundle is so versatile in the variety of Christmas Trees you can make for your cards. And I love the soft colors of the Winter Meadow designer series paper.
