Stampin’ Up! Winterly Tree Tops Sneak Peek

Good Morning! I got an opportunity to get the Stampin’ Up! Winterly Tree Tops bundle from the Upcoming September-December 2024 Mini Catalog and attend the Stampin’ Up! Creativity Now event. During the event we made some projects with this pretty new bundle and I’m sharing one of those cards today. You can find the currently avaliable products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes. And I’ve also included some pictures of this pretty bundle and the Nests of Winter designer series paper that I used.

I adhered a panel of Nests of Winter designer series paper filled with pussy willows to a Basic Black mat and adhered it to the front of a Moody Mauve card base with liquid glue. I stamped the pair of birds from the Stampin’ Up! Winterly Tree Tops stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a Basic White panel. I colored the birds with Balmy Blue, Petal Pink, Poppy Parade and Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blends and cut it out with the coordinating die.

I stamped three pussy willows from the Stampin’ Up! Winterly Tree tops stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Basic White and colored the stems using the light Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blend. I cut them out with the coordinating die and adhered them to the back of the birds with glue dots. I adhered the layered die cuts to the card with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Winterly Tree Tops stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Basic White. I wrapped a length of black baker’s twine around one end and tied a bow. I adhered the label to the card with dimensionals and finished the card with Moody Mauve dots.

For the inside of the card I stamped the pussy willows from the Stampin’ Up! Winterly Tree Tops stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink in the corners of a Basic White panel. I colored the stems with the light Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blend and a adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The birds in the Stampin’ Up! Winterly Tree Tops bundle are so cute and the sentiments are nice and can be used all year long. Here is the bundle:

And here is the Nests of Winter designer series paper:

There are coordinating embellishments in the Nests of Winter Suite that can be used throughout the Fall and Winter months as well as during the Holidays. These products will be available September 4, 2024.

Stampin’ Up! Wildflower Designs Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Wildflower Designs bundle is a new cling stamp set with dies bundle from the new Annual Catalog with pretty wildflower images and wonderful sentiments. I didn’t use the dies on this project because I wanted to use the pretty circle dies from the Spotlight on Nature dies. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I was inspired by the pretty sketch in the Freshly Made Sketches #641 Challenge:

I embossed a panel of Wildly Flowering designer series paper with the Dashing Designs 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a Misty Moonlight card base with liquid glue. I stamped the large flower image from the Stampin’ Up! Wildflower Designs stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a Basic White panel and colored it with light Boho Blue and dark Old Olive Stampin’ Blends. I used stamped off Crumb cake ink to stamp more wildflowers in the background and cut it out with the dashed circle die from the Spotlight on Nature dies.

I colored one of the butterfly cutouts from the Paper Butterfly Accents with the light Wild Wheat Stampin’ Blend and adhered it to the corner of the die cut circle with glue dots. I adhered the circle and butterfly to the card with dimensionals.

I stamped sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Wildflower Designs stamp set in Misty Moonlight ink on Basic White. I cut it out with the large Stylish Shapes Banner die using the two step method and adhered it to the card front with glue dots. I finished the card with pretty Boho Blue and Wild Wheat dots.

For the inside of the card I stamped another flower from the Stampin’ Up! Wildflower Designs stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a Basic White panel. I colored it with light Boho Blue and dark Old Olive Stampin’ Blends. I embossed a strip of Wildly Flowering DSP and adhered it to the bottom of the panel and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The floral images in the Stampin’ Up! Wildflower Designs stamp set are simple and sweet. It’s nice that there are coordinating dies that cut them out, and I’ll have to do that on my next card. And I am loving the Wildly Flowering DSP, with all it’s different patterns and vintage feel.

Stampin’ Up! Simply Zinnia for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! The Stampin’ Up! Simply Zinnia bundle is one of my current favorites, and the pretty Flowering Zinnias designer series paper is so pretty. I’ve used them to make a pretty thinking of you card for today. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a pretty sketch challenge this week:

I adhered a panel of Flowering Zinnias designer series paper to the front of a Melon Mambo card base with liquid glue. I adhered another panel of leafy Flowering Zinnias DSP to the card with liquid glue.

I adhered a third panel to a Mossy Meadow mat and popped it on the card with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Simply Zinnia stamp set using Blackberry Bliss ink on a strip of Melon Mambo card stock and adhered it to the card with dimnesionals and glue dots. I finished the card with Shiny Sequins to add some bling.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the flower bouquet from the Stampin’ Up! Simply Zinnia stamp set using three times stamped off Melon Mambo ink on a Basic White panel. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

This week’s sketch is really simple and pretty and the wonderful colors of the Flowering Zinnias designer series paper make this card so easy, especially with the pretty sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Simply Zinnia stamp set!

Stampin’ Up! Coffee With Friends Thinking Of You Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Coffee With Friends stamp set is a fun set expressing friendship and I used it with the pretty A Little Latte designer series paper to make a simple fun fold thinking of you card. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I adhered plaid panel of A Little Latte designer series paper to a Calypso Coral card base with liquid glue. I adhered another panel with pretty coffee cups to the front of a Lost Lagoon mini card and adhered it to the main card base with liquid glue.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Coffee With Friends stamp set in Pecan Pie Ink on a Petal Pink panel. I cut it out with the circle die from the Radiating Stitches dies. Sadly, I learned that these dies have retired since I made the card, so I would recommend using the awesome Spotlight on Nature dies or the Everyday Details dies instead.

I made a bow with Crumb Cake baker’s twine and adhered it to the back of the label and adhered the label to the card with dimensionals. I finished the card with Petal Pink swirl dots.

For the inside of the card I stamped the ladies on the bench from the Stampin’ Up! Coffee with Friends stamp set in Pecan Pie ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the sentiment in Lost Lagoon ink and adhered the panel to the inside of the Mini Card with Stampin’ Seal.

The A Little Latte designer series paper is so pretty and I thought it would coordinate with the Stampin’ Up! Coffee With Friends stamp set. There are so many little coffee shops near me that are great to catch up with friends and relax. I hope you have some places near you too!

Stampin’ Up! Simply Zinnia Sending Flowers for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! One of my current favorites is the Stampin’ Up! Simply Zinnia bundle because of it’s beautiful flowers. But today, I focused on the sentiments to go with the beautiful Flowering Zinnias designer series paper. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a pretty sketch challenge this week:

I embossed a panel of Flowering Zinnias designer series paper with the Zinnias 3D embossing folder. I used a sponge dauber to apply Blackberry Bliss ink to the raised edges of the panel – It makes the embossed flowers pop and provides an interesting effect with the background grid. I adhered the panel to the front of a Blackberry Bliss card base with liquid glue.

I adhered a floral panel of Flowering Zinnias designer series paper to a Blackberry Bliss mat so that it just showed on the sides and bottom. I popped the layered DSP panel onto the card with dimensionals, lining the top edge up to match the card sketch.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Simply Zinnia stamp set using Blackberry Bliss ink on a Melon Mambo strip and adhered it to the card with dimensionals. I finished the card with three shiny sequins.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the single flower from the Stampin’ Up! Simply Zinnia stamp set using three times stamped off Blackberry Bliss ink. I trimmed the side with a strip of DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Simply Zinnia bundle is part of the Online Exclusives Flowering Zinnias Suite. It’s a beautiful and colorful suite that is so versatile and any card you make with these products is sure to bring a smile!

Stampin’ Up! Feathered Flight for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good Morning! Welcome to the May Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop! The theme for this month’s hop is “For the Boys/Men” so I pulled out my Feathered Flight stamp set to make a simple, masculine thinking of you card. The beautiful Thoughtful Journey 6″ x 6″ designer series paper makes a wonderful background for the ducks in the stamp set. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

I stamped the small flying ducks from the Stampin’ Up! Feathered Flight cling stamp set using Wild Wheat ink on a panel of Thoughtful Journey designer series paper. I adhered the stamped DSP to a Misty Moonlight mat using liquid glue.

I separated a length of Wild Wheat jute and wrapped a single strand around the DSP panel and tied a knot. I adhered the panel to the front of a Boho Blue card base with dimensionals.

I cut two pine sprigs from the Encircled In Nature dies and adhered them to the card with glue dots, tucking them under the jute.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Feathered Flight stamp set using Wild Wheat ink on a Boho Blue panel. I cut out the sentiment with the Deckled Rectangles dies using a two step method, lining up one corner and cutting two sides and then cutting the opposite corner and the remaining sides. I adhered the label to the card using dimensionals over the jute and die cut sprigs.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Feathered Flight stamp set in Wild Wheat ink on a Basic White panel. I used twice stamped off Misty Moonlight ink to stamp the large duck and trimmed the side with DSP. I adhered the panel to a Misty Moonlight mat and then to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Thoughtful Journey 6″ x 6″ designer series paper is so beautiful and I love how it looks with the flying ducks from the Stampin’ Up! Feathered Flight stamp set. A quiet, beautiful morning in the woods with a loved one!

Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Wishes Thinking Of You Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Wishes bundle is a really sweet wildflower themed bundle with wonderful sentiments and great dies. I used it with the Beautiful Thoughtful Journey 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to make a thinking of you card with watercolor techniques. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I adhered pretty panel of Thoughtful Journey 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to a Mossy Meadow mat with liquid glue. I cut a panel of Lost Lagoon with the leaf dies from the Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Journey dies and adhered two of them to the DSP panel with glue dots.

I cut a Basic White panel with the thistle dies from the Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Journey dies twice. I used a water painter and Heather Highland ink to color the flowers and Lost Lagoon and Mossy Meadow inks to color the stems. I did this quickly so that it has a splotchy look with different shades of color. After they dried, I adhered them to the DSP panel with dots of liquid glue. I adhered the last two Lost Lagoon die cut leaves on top with glue dots.

I used my light Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blend to color a length of Linen Thread and wrapped it around the panel twice and made a bow and adhered the panel to the front of a Boho Blue card base. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Wishes stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink on Wild Wheat and cut it out with the label die from the Perennial Postage dies. I adhered the label to the card with dimensionals and finished with several brass dragonfly embellishments.

For the inside of the card I used Highland Heather and Lost Lagoon Stampin’ Write markers to ink up the thistle stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Wishes stamp set. I used a sponge dauber to add touches of Mossy Meadow to the stamp. I lightly spritzed the stamp with water and stamped the side of a Basic White panel. I used the spatter stamp to apply some twice stamped off Wild Wheat ink to the corner before adhering it to the inside of the card.

I was inspired by the beautiful watercolor look of the Thoughtful Journey 6″ x 6″ DSP to use water techniques to make todays card. It’s a lot of fun to use different coloring techniques and get nice results. And water coloring with ink is pretty easy on small cuts like these thistle from the Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Wishes bundle. Give it a try!

Stampin’ Up! Softly Sophisticated Thinking of You Card

Good Morning! I’m using the pretty Stampin’ Up! Softly Sophisticated Sale-A-Bration bundle with the pretty Flight and Airy Sale-A-Bration designer series paper for a simple thinking of you you card today. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I embossed a watercolored strip of Flight and Airy designer series paper with the Stampin’ Up! Softly Sophisticated embossing folder and adhered it to a panel of Flight and Airy designer series paper. I adhered the layered DSP to the front of a Flirty Flamingo card base.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Softly Sophisticated stamp set in Misty Moonlight ink on a Basic White panel and cut it out with the second largest banner die from the Nested Essentials dies. I adhered it to the card front with dimensionals.

I made a bow with linen thread and adhered it to the card with a glue dot and I finished the card with three Flirty Flamingo adhesive dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the stems from the Stampin’ Up! Softly Sophisticated stamp set in Soft Sea Foam in the corner of a basic White panel. I stamped the flowers in Flirty Flamingo and trimmed the bottom with a strip of Flight and Airy DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

This was such a quick and easy card and yet so pretty because of the beautiful DSP and sentiments. And thanks to Sale-A-Bration, the beautiful Flight and Airy designer series paper can be added to an order over $50 for free, and the Stampin’ Up! Softly Sophisticated bundle can be added for free to an order over $100. Sale-A-Bration is Wonderful!

Stampin’ Up! Garden Meadow Thinking of You Card

Good Morning! I am such a wimp – one week of cold weather and I weary of winter and looking for warmer weather. So I pulled out some pretty meadow scenes in the Meandering Meadow 6″ x 6″ designer series paper and the sweet Stampin’ Up! Garden Meadow stamp set to make some thinking of you cards with warmer landscapes and it cheered me up! You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

These were really simple just using the pretty DSP and wonderful label dies for the sentiments. I adhered the DSP panel to a Garden Green Mat with liquid glue and popped it on a Balmy Blue card base.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Garden Meadows stamp set in Garden Green ink on Balmy Blue and cut it out with the small rectangular die from the Something Fancy Dies. I used the middle sized rectangular die to cut a mat and adhered the labels together.

I adhered a length of Balmy Blue and white ribbon to the card front with glue dots and adhered the label on top with dimensionals. I finished the card with coordinating colors from the pretty Glossy Dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the basket and shadow from the Stampin’ Up! Garden Meadow stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a Basic White panel. I colored it with Stampin’ Blends and adhered a strip of DSP to the side. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

Pretty designer series paper makes it so easy to create simple handmade cards for any occasion and the Meandering Meadow DSP is a perfect pick me up for cold, dreary winter days. And the Stampin’ Up! Garden Meadow stamp set has so many simple pretty designs that you can use to make the inside of the card special.

Stampin’ Up! Magical Meadow for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! The Stampin’ Up! Magical Meadow bundle has pretty winter greenery stamps and dies and I used it today with the beautiful Winter Meadow designer series paper for a Thinking of You card. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a color challenge this week and I used most of the colors in my card:

I also used the pretty sketch from the TGIF #442 Sketch Challenge for today’s layered card:

I adhered a panel of Winder Meadow designer series paper to the front of a Blueberry Bushed card base. I adhered two more panels to Misty Moonlight mats and adhered the larger one to the card base with liquid glue.

I cut a Lost Lagoon panel twice with the sprig from the Stampin’ Up! Magical Meadow dies. I cut the sprigs with my paper snips and adhered them to the top and bottom of the DSP panel as pictured below. I used the berry dies to cut a Moody Mauve panel and adhered the berries to the sprigs with liquid glue.

I inked the leaf stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Magical Meadow cling stamp set with Lost Lagoon ink and used a sponge dauber to apply Garden Green ink in areas. I stamped it on Basic White and cut it out with the coordinating die. I made another die cut leaf sprig and adhered them both to the card with liquid glue.

I adhered the small DSP panel to the card with dimensionals over the die cut greenery. I stamped the sentiment from the Go To Greetings stamp set using Blueberry Bushel ink on Basic White. I cut it out with the long skinny banner die from the Stylish Shapes dies and adhered it to the card with dimensionals and glue dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the small forest scene from the Stampin’ Up! Magical Meadow stamp set in Blueberry Bushel ink across the bottom of a Basic White panel. I used a Blender Pen to smear the edges of the stamped images and apply Misty Moonlight ink to highlight some of the forest. I love the way this tied the inside to the small DSP panel on the card front. I adhered the panel to a Real Red mat before adhering it to the inside of the card.

I love the different stamps and dies in the Stampin’ Up! Magical Meadow bundle and I love the way it coordinates with the Winter Meadow DSP!
