Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Harvest Thank You for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! I pulled out the pretty Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Harvest bundle again for today’s card and I combined it with the pretty Sale A Bration Be Dazzling specialty paper for a sparkling thank you card. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

We have a theme challenge this week with the theme of Autumn/Harvest:

I also entered my card into the Sunday Stamps SSC265 Sunflower Dreams Challenge. I substituted coneflowers for Sunflowers, but I did use all the pretty fall colors:

I embossed a Very Vanilla panel with the Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder and used a blending brush to lightly apply Soft Succulent ink to the top. I adhered it to a Soft Succulent mat. Then I embossed a Soft Succulent panel with the same embossing folder and applied Soft Suede ink around the edges. I cut a frame from the Be Dazzling specialty paper and two of the Stitched Rectangles dies and adhered the Soft Succulent embossed panel to the back and adhered them both to the Very Vanilla embossed panel with liquid glue. I adhered the panel to the front of a Cajun Craze card base with dimensionals.

I stamped the large coneflowers from the Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Harvest cling stamp set in Soft Suede ink on Very Vanilla card stock and cut it out with the coordinating die from the Harvest Dies. I colored the flowers with Soft Suede, Cinnamon Cider, Cajun Craze and Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends. I colored the stems with the Soft Succulent Stampin’ Blends. I cut Bumblebee card stock with the wheat die and adhered it to the card front with glue dots. I adhered the flowers on top with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Harvest stamp set in Soft Suede on Very Vanilla and cut it out with the small label die. I adhered it to the card front with glue dots, tucking it under the flowers. I made a bow with Bumblebee gingham ribbon and adhered it with glue dots and finished the front with three champagne rhinestones.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Harvest stamp set in stamped off Soft Suede ink on the side of a Very Vanilla panel. I embossed another strip of Soft Succulent card stock with the Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder and applied Soft Suede ink with a blending brush. I adhered the strip to the bottom of the Very Vanilla panel and adhered the panel to the inside of the card. And since the flower image is so pretty, I decided to stamp the front of a Very Vanilla medium envelope to match.

The Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Harvest bundle is one of my favorites and doesn’t the Be Dazzling specialty paper make it pop? I should have thought a little more because this would have been the perfect background for a special Fall birthday card. I guess I’ll just have to make another one.

Stampin’ Up! Pretty Pumpkins Video Tutorial

Good Morning and Happy Labor Day! I hope that you are able to enjoy a long weekend and have another day off! For my Facebook Live yesterday afternoon, I used the wonderful Stampin’ Up! Pretty Pumpkins bundle to make a Thankful for You card in Crumb Cake and Soft Succulent. Touches of Rose Gold and copper give it some subtle sparkle to make it special. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

Here is the Facebook Live video showing how I made the card:

I posted a copy of the video in my YouTube channel here so you can view it there if you prefer.

I adhered a panel Soft Succulent Harvest Meadow designer series paper to a panel of Crumb Cake paper and adhered the layered DSP to a Rose Gold Metallic mat. I popped the panel on the front of a Crumb Cake card base with dimensionals.

I applied some adhesive sheets to the back of a panel of Rose Gold Metallic paper and cut it with the large pumpkin from the Detailed Pumpkins dies. I peeled the backing sheet off and adhered the die cut pumpkin to the card front. I cut some pumpkin leaves from Soft Succulent and adhered them to the top of the pumpkin with glue dots. I applied some Stampin’ Seal next to the pumpkin and adhered some soft succulent ribbon to the card front and trimmed the ribbon ends.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Pretty Pumpkins stamp set in Versamark ink on a Crumb Cake panel and sprinkled it with copper embossing powder. I shook off the excess powder and heat set the sentiment with my heat tool. After cooling, I cut out the sentiment with the Tasteful Labels die and adhered it over the ribbon with dimensionals. I added three brushed copper dots to finish the card front.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the pumpkin trio from the Stampin’ Up! Pretty Pumpkins stamp set in stamped off Soft Succulent ink on a Basic White Panel. I stamped the sentiment from the Handsomely Suited stamp set next to the pumpkins in Crumb Cake and trimmed the bottom with Harvest Meadow DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up Pretty Pumpkins bundle is just wonderful! I love coloring the stamped images and there are dies to cut them all out. The sentiments are beautiful and perfect for fall and the extra pumpkin dies in the make beautiful pieces of art!

Stampin’ Up! In Bloom Thank You Card

Good Morning! The Sale A Bration Penguin Playmates designer series paper is so pretty with all the winter fun and happy critters. But it’s also a pretty color palette, so I wanted to use it for a floral card using the pretty Stampin’ Up! In Bloom photopolymer stamp set and coordinating Pierced Blooms dies. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I’m entering my card into the Global Design Project’s theme challenge #307 because the theme is Thank You:

I adhered a panel of striped Penguin Playmates designer series paper to the bottom of a Soft Sea Foam panel. I embossed a panel of Fresh Freesia card stock with floral Meadow Moments embossing folder and adhered it to the top of the panel. I wrapped a length of denim ribbon around the seam and secured it in the back and then adhered the panel to the front of a Misty Moonlight card base.

I stamped the pretty sentiment from the In Symmetry stamp set in Misty Moonlight ink on a Soft Sea Foam panel and cut it out with the label die from the Pierced Blooms dies. I adhered it to the card front over the ribbon with dimensionals. I cut the leaves from Just Jade and adhered them to the card with glue dots.

I cut the large flower from the Pierced Blooms dies from Fresh Freesia and the small flower and bow from Misty Moonlight. I adhered the small flower to the large flower with liquid glue and popped the large flower onto the card front with dimensionals. I used a glue dot to adhere the bow and tucked it under the flower. I finished the card with Just Jade and Misty Moonlight faceted gems.

For the inside of the card, I stamped some small flowers from the Stampin’ Up! In Bloom stamp set in Fresh Freesia and Misty Moonlight ink in the corners of a Basic White panel. I adhered a strip of the striped Penguin Place DSP to the bottom of the panel and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

I love the die cut flowers from the Pierced Blooms dies and the coordinating Stampin’ Up! In Bloom stamp set. The Fresh Freesia die cut flower looks so pretty with the striped Penguin Playmates designer series paper and makes a nice floral thank you card for the end of the summer. Time to make way for all things fall!

Stampin’ Up! Art in Bloom Thank You for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! My Thank You card for today uses the Stampin’ Up! Art In Bloom bundle. This bundle has a hybrid embossing folder that combines a 3D embossing folder with dies that allow you to emboss and cut in one step! You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

We have a color challenge this week for our Blog Hop and here’s the color palette we’re using:

I adhered strip of Misty Moonlight Harvest Meadow designer series paper to the Bumblebee Harvest Meadow panel and adhered them both to a Crumb Cake mat. I adhered the panel to the front of a Misty Moonlight card base with dimensionals.

I used my blending brush to apply Calypso Coral ink to a Basic White panel and stamped it with the flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Art In Bloom photopolymer stamp set using Calypso Coral ink. This stamp has all three flowers on a single stamp! Then I inserted the die into the Bloom hybrid embossing folder and carefully aligned my flowers with the die and embossing folder and ran it through my die cutting machine. I love how I get embossed flowers after die cutting! I adhered two of the flowers onto the card front with glue dots and the top one with dimensionals. I cut three sets of detailed leaves dies from Soft Succulent and adhered them with glue dots, tucking them under the flowers.

I stamped the sentiment from the Biggest Wish photopolymer stamp set in Misty Moonlight ink on a Crumb Cake panel and cut it out with the second smallest Tailor Made Tags dies. I cut a reinforcement from Misty Moonlight and adhered it before looping a length of Crumb Cake twine through the hole and tying a bow. I adhered the tag to the card front with glue dots and finished it with three adhesive sequins.

For the inside of the card, I stamped bits of the flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Art In Bloom stamp set in the corners of a Basic White panel with Calypso Coral ink. I cut some masks from printer paper and covered the flowers and stamped the leaves in Soft Succulent. I adhered a strip of Bumblebee Harvest Meadows DSP to the bottom and adhered the panel to a Crumb Cake mat before adhering the panel to the inside of the card.

The flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Art In Bloom bundle make it so easy to make a pretty bouquet of flowers to go with any color palette. And when they’re embossed, it make your card extra special!

Stampin’ Up! Feels Like Home for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! My Thank You card for today uses a Sale A Bration item – the Stampin’ Up! Feels Like Home cling stamp set. This is a sweet stamp set with a simple front door and bicycle that you can choose to get for FREE with an order of $50 before shipping and taxes. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

We have a sketch challenge this week for our Blog Hop and here’s the sketch we’re using:

I adhered panel of Harvest Meadow designer series paper to the Bloom Where You’re Planted panel and adhered them both to the front of a Cinnamon Cider card base.

I stamped front door from the Stampin’ Up! Feels Like Home stamp set in Early Espresso ink on a Basic White panel. I colored the image with a combination of Stampin’ Blends and Watercolor Pencils. I used Crumb Cake, Cinnamon Cider, Pool Party, Old Olive, Soft Succulent, Smoky Slate, Mossy Meadow, Poppy Parade, Calypso Coral and Granny Apple Green Stampin Blends. I used Basic Black, Pacific Point, Garden Green, Basic Gray and Daffodil Delight Watercolor Pencils. I used the blending brush to lightly apply Crumb Cake and Cinnamon Cider ink around the edge of the image to give it a vintage look and adhered the panel to a Cinnamon Cider mat.

I used the blending brush to apply a light wash of Cinnamon Cider ink to the label and stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Feels Like Home stamp set in Early Espresso ink. I really love the script font in the sentiment – it looks handwritten! I adhered the sentiment to the art panel with dimensionals and applied them both to the card front with dimensionals. I finished the card front with a bumblebee trinket adhered with a glue dot.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the little plant from the Stampin’ Up Feels Like Home stamp set in Early Espresso ink in the corner of a Basic White panel. I colored it with Calypso Coral and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends and Daffodil Delight Watercolor Pencil. I adhered a strip of Harvest Meadow DSP to the bottom and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Feels Like Home stamp set has some sweet images and wonderful sentiments. And it was fun to pull out the color pencils to do some coloring. I need to do that more!

Stampin’ Up! What’s Cookin’ Video Tutorial

Good Monday Morning! Yesterday afternoon during my weekly Facebook Live, I used the the wonderful Stampin’ Up! What’s Cookin’ bundle to make a hello card with the Sale A Bration Peaceful Prints designer series paper. There are so many cooking and food theme stamp sets available right now, you can go crazy with kitchen creativity! It’s a good thing that they are low in calories! You can find the currently available supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

Here is the Facebook Live video showing how I made the card:

I posted a copy of the video in my YouTube channel here so you can view it there if you prefer.

I adhered a strip of Buffalo Plaid Peaceful Prints designer series paper (a Sale A Bration item at the $50 level) to a panel of In Good Taste designer series paper and adhered them both to a Real Red mat. I stamped the bowl from the Stampin’ Up! What’s Cookin’ cling stamp set in Pacific Point on Basic White and stamped the rolling pin in Sahara Sand on Basic White. I cut these out with the coordinating dies. I also cut out an additional rolling pin from basic white and adhered it to the back of the stamped rolling pin to give the die cut some thickness.

I cut the cutting board from the Cookin’ dies from the Stampin’ Up! What’s Cookin’ bundle from Soft Suede and the tools from Basic Black. The detail in these dies is so fantastic! I adhered the cutting board, tools and bowl to the DSP panel with glue dots and rolling pin with dimensionals.

I stamped sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! What’s Cookin stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Sahara Sand and cut it out with the Messages die. I adhered it to the panel with glue dots. I finished the panel with three red matte dots and a Crumb Cake twine bow. I adhered the panel to the front of a Smoky Slate card base.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! What’s Cookin’ stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a Basic White panel. In stamped the bowl next to the sentiment in Pacific Point and one of the little chef’s hats in Sahara Sand. I adhered a strip of In Good Taste DSP to the bottom of the panel and adhered it to a Real Red mat before adhering it to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up What’s Cookin’ bundle is so wonderful and versatile! There are so many other food stamp sets that these items can be used with such as cupcakes and cookies. The bundle is perfect for cards for any kind of chef or food lover for any occasion.

Stampin’ Up! Counting Sheep Sneak Peek Video Tutorial

Hello! I hope you had a great weekend! Yesterday afternoon during my weekly Facebook Live, I made a Thank You Card with the cute Stampin’ Up! Counting Sheep photopolymer stamp set and the coordinating Sheep dies that will be available during Sale A Bration tomorrow! You can find the currently available supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

Here is the Facebook Live video showing how I made the card:

I posted a copy of the video in my YouTube channel here so you can view it there if you prefer.

If you watch my video, you will see that I forgot to color the arm of the dancing sheep! I didn’t catch it until I was processing the pictures for this blog post, so I colored his arm and retook the pictures. Oh Well! Lesson learned – don’t rush, double check your cards before you send them! LOL.

I started by embossing a panel of Balmy Blue with the new Timber 3D embossing folder – I love this subtle wood grain look. I adhered the panel to the front of a Balmy Blue card base. I used the third largest Stitched Rectangles die to cut the Balmy Blue polka dot panel from the You’re A Peach designer series paper. I cut a panel of Basic White with the same die and adhered them together to stiffen the DSP background.

I cut a small strip of the Pear Pizzazz You’re A Peach DSP with the bottom of the same Stitched rectangle die and adhered it to the bottom of the panel. I cut one each of the bushes from the Sheep Dies and adhered them to the panel on top of the Pear Pizzazz strip. I cut the cute gate from Sahara Sand card stock and adhered it on top of the seam to cover it and then I adhered the die cut panel to the front of the card with dimensionals.

I stamped the jumping sheep and the dancing sheep from the Stampin’ Up! Counting Sheep cling stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I cut them out with the coordinating dies and colored their faces, ears and legs with the light Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blend. I colored their hooves with the dark Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blend and adhered them to the card front with dimensionals. I cut out the sun with the Sheep Dies and stamped a little face on it using the Hippo Happiness stamp set. I adhered the sun to the card with a glue dot. I stamped the sentiment from the Hippo Happiness stamp set in Real Red on Basic White and cut it out with the small die from the Hippo and Friends dies. I adhered it to the card front with glue dots.

I stamped last sheep from the Stampin’ Up! Counting Sheep stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on the bottom corner of a Basic White panel and colored her with Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends like the sheep on the card front. I cut out two more Pear Pizzazz bushes with the Sheep Dies from the You’re A Peach DSP and adhered them to the bottom of the panel. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up Counting Sheep stamp set and the Sheep dies are two of the items that you can choose for free with a $50 purchase before shipping and handling during Sale A Bration. There will be a total of eight different items you can choose from at the $50 level and two more at the $100 level. Sale A Bration starts on Tuesday August 3. I can’t wait! 😊

Stampin’ Up! Color and Contour Video Tutorial

Happy 4th of July!! I hope you have the opportunity to relax and celebrate with family and friends this weekend. When I first saw these flowers in the Stampin’ Up! Color and Contour bundle, I thought of fireworks, so I wanted to use them in a red, white and blue card to celebrate the day in my Facebook Live yesterday afternoon. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

Here is the Facebook Live video showing how I made the card:

I posted a copy of the video in my YouTube channel here so you can view it there if you prefer.

I stamped the flower from the Stampin’ Up! Color and Contour photopolymer stamp set three times in Real Red ink on Basic White and cut them out with the coordinating die. I cut the second smallest scalloped rectangle from the Scalloped Contours dies from Balmy Blue and cut a Basic White panel to go on top. I stamped the sentiment in Balmy Blue on the side of the Basic White panel and adhered it to the die cut Balmy Blue scalloped rectangle.

I embossed a Real Red panel with the Ornate Floral 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a Real Red card base. I adhered a panel of Balmy Blue striped You’re a Peach designer series paper to a Balmy Blue mat and popped it on the card front with dimensionals. I adhered the layered label to the DSP panel and adhered two of the Real Red flowers on the side with liquid glue.

I popped the final Real Red flower on top with dimensionals and added a bow made from the pretty Real Red stitched ribbon. I finished the card front off with three white elegant gems.

I stamped the flower from the Stampin’ Up! Color and Contour stamp set in the lower corner of a Basic White panel, masked it with a die cut scrap flower and stamped another flower on top. I stamped a third flower in the upper corner and trimmed the bottom with a strip of Balmy Blue striped DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The floral images in the Stampin’ Up! Color and Contour bundle are so versatile and the Scalloped Contours dies in the bundle are just the best. This is definitely one of my favorites!! Enjoy the rest of the holiday weekend and Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Art Gallery Thank You Card

Happy Saturday! Today I am sharing a layered Thank You card made with the pretty Stampin’ Up! Art Gallery stamp bundle and the gorgeous Fine Art Floral designer series paper. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I used the sketch for the Try Stampin’ On Tuesday Challenge 510. I used the pretty designer series paper instead of making a white on white card and here’s the challenge graphic:

I cut the Golden Garden acetate so that it matches the pattern in the Fine Art Floral designer series paper and I peeled off the protective backing on the acetate and adhered it to the floral DSP with Stampin’ Seal under the Basic White rectangle. I adhered the Pool Party texture paper to a Pool Party mat and then adhered the layered floral paper next to it. I adhered the panel to the front of a Poppy Parade card base.

I cut a Basic White panel with the 4th smallest Stitched Rectangles die and embossed it with the Painted Texture 3D embossing folder. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Art Gallery stamp set in Poppy Parade on Basic White and cut it out with the small label die from the Floral Gallery dies. I adhered the label to the back of the embossed rectangle and adhered them both to the card front.

I stamped the flower from the Stampin’ Up! Art Gallery stamp set in Poppy Parade – the solid stamp after stamping off and the detailed stamp full strength on top. I stamped the stem and leaves in Old Olive ink and cut the flower and stem out with the coordinating die. I popped the flower on the card front with dimensionals and adhered the stem with glue dots. I adhered three Gilded Gems around the flower and added a gold trim bow with a glue dot.

For the inside of the card, I adhered the floral DSP to the Pool Party card stock and adhered them both to the side of a Basic White panel. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Art Gallery bundle is one of my favorites and I’m glad that it is being carried over into the new 2021-2022 Annual Catalog. But since it will no longer be available as a bundle, now is the time to get it if you want the 10% bundle savings. Both the Fine Art Floral and the Golden Garden acetate are being retired, and they’re both beautiful, so get them while they’re still available!

Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning! Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! Today I made a fun fold Thank You card with featuring the Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch bundle and the pretty Pansy Petals designer series paper. The style of the card is called a Book Fold or Book Binder Fold and it’s an easy fun fold that is great for showcasing pretty coordinating designer series paper. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

We have a theme challenge this week and our challenge is to use punches! How fun!!

I applied Tear & Tape to the side hinge part of a Pale Papaya card base, pulled the cover and adhered the hinge closed. I adhered the Soft Succulent gingham Pansy Petals DSP to an Evening Evergreen mat and adhered it to the hinge with liquid glue. I wrapped the hinge with a length of Fresh Freesia Ribbon and tied a bow. I secured the bow to the hinge with a glue dot. I adhered the floral Pansy Petals DSP to an Evening Evergreen Mat and popped it onto the open part of the card front with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Pansy Petals photopolymer stamp set in Evening Evergreen ink on a Fresh Freesia panel and punched it out with the Double Oval punch. I punched a Soft Succulent panel with the scalloped oval section and adhered the two punched ovals together with liquid glue and adhered it to the card front with dimensionals. I stamped small pansies from the Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch stamp set in Pale Papaya, Pumpkin Pie, Fresh Freesia, Gorgeous Grape and Daffodil Delight. I stamped two in Pale Papaya with stamped off Pumpkin Pie accents and Daffodil Delight centers and two with Gorgeous Grape outsides and accents, Fresh Freesia tops (I masked off the bottom three petals) and Daffodil Delight centers. I cut all of them out with the die.

I stamped the leaves from the Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch stamp set in Soft Succulent backgrounds and Evening Evergreen details and cut them out with the corresponding dies. I adhered three leaves to the card front with liquid glue and popped the pansies on top with dimensionals. I finished the card front off with 2021-2023 In Color jewels.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch stamp set in Fresh Freesia ink on a Basic White panel and adhered the remaining die cut pansies and leaves in the top corner. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Book Fold card is a real easy fun fold and it’s great with the Pansy Petals DSP. The Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch bundle is so pretty and versatile. It’s so much fun to play with because pansies come in so many different colors and styles and you can combine the stamps in so many different ways to recreate your favorites!
