Stampin’ Up! Little Ladybug Hello Card

Good Morning! Today is the last day of Sale-A-Bration, so I have a card made with the cute Stampin’ Up! Little Ladybug cling stamp set. It is also the last day for the Coordination Products Release which includes the Ladybug Dies that I also used. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I embossed a panel of So Saffron card stock with the Subtle embossing folder and adhered it to a So Saffron card base with liquid glue. I cut a Balmy Blue panel with the large scalloped rectangle from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. I cut one end of a strip of Old Olive with the grass die from the Special Day Dies and cut the other sides with the same Stitched So Sweetly scalloped rectangle die. I adhered the grass to the bottom of the Balmy Blue die cut with liquid glue. I adhered the panel to the card base with dimensionals.

I stamped the large flower from the Stampin’ Up! Little Ladybug cling stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a Whisper White panel. I colored it with Mango Melody, Old Olive and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends and cut it out with the coordinating die from the Ladybug Dies. I stamped the Hey, Lady sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a strip of Whisper White and cut it out with the smallest Stitched So Sweetly scalloped rectangle die. I adhered the flower with dimensionals and adhered the label with a dimensional and liquid glue where the label overlapped the larger die cut.

I stamped all four ladybugs from the Stampin’ Up! Little Ladybug stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Whisper White. I colored them with Light Real Red, Light Petal Pink and both Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends and cut them out with the coordinating dies. I colored the little flower with the light Mango Melody Blend. I adhered the ladybug holding the flower with liquid glue and the other two ladybugs with dimensionals.

I saved the last ladybug for the inside of the card. I also cut a flower using the dies from the Ladybug Dies using Mango Melody, Old Olive and Basic Black card stock and adhered it to the bottom of a Whisper White panel with liquid glue. I added the last ladybug next to the flower and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Little Ladybug stamp set is a Sale-A-Bration special that is FREE for Hosts with workshops totaling $300 or more (or an order of $300 or more), but today is the last day for the offer.

Stampin’ Up! To A Wild Rose Hello Card

Good Morning! Did you hear that they added new items to Saale-A-Bration? We are in the final week and ten items from the Annual Catalog have been tagged as FREE Sale-A-Bration items with a minimum $50 purchase. And today’s card uses two of these items. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used. Important: Note that the Sale-A-Bration item numbers are different!!

I cut a panel of the Woven Threads designer series paper and adhered it to a Rococo Rose card base. I cut another panel of Woven Threads DSP using the large label from the Wild Rose Dies and adhered it to the front with snail. I stamped the outline rose from the Stampin’ Up! To A Wild Rose photopolymer stamp set in Rococo Rose ink on a Whisper White panel. Then I stamped the fuller image in Rococo Rose after stamping off once. Finally I stamped the smallest image in Rococo Rose after stamping off once. I used the matching die cut to cut it out. With the Wild Rose Dies, I cut out two leaf clusters from Mossy Meadow and two bud clusters from Rococo Rose.

I stamped the hello sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! To A Wild Rose stamp set on a Whisper White panel with Rococo Rose ink and cut it out with the smallest Stitched Nested Labels die. I arranged the die cuts on the large label and adhered the leaf and bud clusters and label with multipurpose liquid glue and the rose with dimensionals. I finished off the front with a lace ribbon bow and a Rococo Rose faceted gem

I decorated the inside by adding a strip of the Woven Threads DSP to the bottom of a Whisper White Panel and adhering it to the inside of the card.

The Wild Rose Dies and Woven Threads designer series paper are two of the new items that were added to Sale-A-Bration. Important: Note that the Sale-A-Bration item numbers are different!! Stampin’ Up! Under My Umbrella Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning! Welcome to another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! I am ready for Spring and warm weather and sunshine, so I made this little hello card with the Stampin’ Up! Under My Umbrella stamp bundle.

We have a cute sketch challenge this week, and here is the sketch we are using:

I started by running a panel of Balmy Blue card stock through the Subtle embossing folder and adhering it to a Balmy blue card base with liquid glue. I took a panel of the raindrop paper from the Pleased as Punch designer series paper that is part of the Coordination Release and cut it with the largest scalloped rectangle in the Stitched So Sweetly dies. I also cut a panel of Thick Whisper White with the same die and adhered it to the back of the raindrop paper.

I punched three umbrellas from the umbrella paper in the Pleased as Punch DSP pack with the Umbrella Builder punch and also adhered them to an umbrella punched from Thick Whisper White paper. I stamped 3 umbrella handles from the Stampin’ Up! Under My Umbrella stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Smoky Slate card stock and punched them out with the umbrella handle in the Umbrella Builder punch. I arranged the umbrellas on the raindrop panel and adhered the handles with liquid glue and the umbrella tops with dimensionals.

I stamped the Hello Sunshine greeting from the Stampin’ Up! Under My Umbrella stamp set in Granny Apple Green ink on a panel of Blushing Bride. I cut it out with the second smallest rectangle of the Stitched so Sweetly dies using the two step die cutting method so that it is just a little bit shorter. I adhered it to the raindrop panel with liquid glue. I stamped and colored 7 large and 1 small floral clusters in Light Granny Apple Green, Dark Calypso Coral, Dark Pool Party, Dark Mango Melody, Light Flirty Flamingo, Dark Daffodil Delight and Light Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends. I fussy cut them out and adhered the small flowers to the label and three of the large ones to the bottom of the panel with liquid glue. I finished off the panel with a Whisper White twine bow on an umbrella panel and popped it on the embossed card base with dimensionals.

On the inside of the card, I trimmed the bottom of a Whisper White panel with the raindrop DSP. I adhered the remaining flower clusters across the bottom with liquid glue and adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the card.

Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Blooms Hello Card

Good Morning and Happy Friday! Today’s card is a cheerful hello card made with the Sale-A-Bration Thoughtful Blooms stamp set along with the Sale-A-Bration Small Bloom punch. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I stamped several of the large solid blooms from the Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Blooms stamp set on strips of Whisper White card stock in Melon Mambo ink. The Thoughtful Blooms stamp set is available FREE during Sale-A-Bration with a $50 purchase. I cut them out with the Small Bloom punch which is also a FREE Sale-A-Bration item with a $100 purchase.

I stamped the vines and leaves from the Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Blooms stamp set on a panel of Pool Party card stock using Granny Apple Green ink. I stamped the small solid flowers with Pacific Point ink. Then I used the bone folder and curled the petals on the Melon Mambo flowers back and adhered them on the stamped panel with glue dots. I added Pineapple Punch dots to the centers.

I embossed a panel of the Pool Party striped Peaceful Poppies designer series paper with the Layered Leaves embossing folder. I adhered the floral Pool Party panel to the top of a Whisper White mat and the embossed DSP to the bottom with snail. I tied a length of Whisper White crinkle seam binding around the middle and made a bow. I adhered the layered panel to a Pool Party card base with dimensionals. I stamped the hello sentiment from the Timeless Tulips stamp set in Pacific Point ink on a strip of Pool Party. I added some small Melon Mambo flowers and a leaf sprig from the Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Blooms stamp set and cut it out with the small scalloped rectangle from the stitched so sweetly dies. I popped it on the card front with dimensionals.

For the inside of the card, I stamped a Melon Mambo flower with some Granny Apple Green leaves and vines and Pacific Point small flowers. I used my Pineapple Punch Stampin’ Write marker to color the flower centers and finished it off with a strip of embossed Pool Party striped DSP. I adhered it to the inside of the card with snail.

The Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Blooms stamp set is a sweet set with lots of different sized flowers and leaves. I only used the solid stamps, it has some great options for two-step stamping to produce multi colored flowers. It’s a great FREE Sale-A-Bration option at the $50 level.

Stampin’ Up! Floral Essence Hello Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and Welcome to another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! I hope you’re enjoying everyone’s projects and I’m sure everyone loved your handmade Christmas Cards! While we’re awaiting the launch of the new Mini Catalog on January 3, I thought I would return to some old favorites for a Hello Card for today’s Hop. Here is my card:

We have a color challenge this week, and here is the color pallette we are using:

I started by stamping six flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Floral Essence stamp set in Rococo Rose on Very Vanilla Card Stock. I punched them out with the Perennial Flower Punch and curled the petals with my bone folder. I adhered the centers of two petal clusters to make three flowers and added a Perennial Essence floral center to each. I punched 5 leaf clusters from Old Olive vellum using the Leaf punch.

I adhered a panel of the wood grain paper from the Pressed Petals specialty designer series paper to a very vanilla mat. I adhered a strip of the floral Pressed Petals paper to a soft suede mat and adhered it to the wood grained panel background. I stamped the hello sentiment from the A Little Lace stamp set using Rococo Rose ink on a strip of Very Vanilla and trimmed the end before adhering it to the panel.

I arranged the vellum leaves and flowers on the panel and adhered it with glue dots. I made a bow from the Very Vanilla scalloped lace trim and adhered it next to the flowers. I adhered the decorated panel to a Rococo Rose card base using dimensionals.

I kept the inside of the card simple and only decorated it by adhering a strip of the floral Pressed Petals DSP to the bottom of a Very Vanilla panel and adhering to the inside of the card. This leaves plenty of room to write a personal hello message!

I can’t wait to mix up these flowers with some of the new items in the upcoming Mini Catalog!

Stampin’ Up! Timeless Tulips Hello Sneak Peek

Good Morning! Today I am sharing a video that I did yesterday during my Sunday Facebook Live session. At Stampin’ Up! On Stage a couple of weeks ago, we made a pretty card with the Stampin’ Up! Timeless Tulips bundle that will be available in the new January – June Mini Catalog next month. But my card did not come out very well because I stamped the stems of the tulips before the flowers, so I ended up with a mess. So this project’s purpose is to fix my card. And my card came out much better than the initial one I made at Stampin’ Up! On Stage.

Here’s the Facebook Live video:

I also posted the video to my YouTube channel and you can view it here.

I started by stamping the large tulip 3 times in Rococo Rose on a scrap piece of Whisper White card stock. Then I stamped the medium tulip 3 times across a Whisper White panel with the bottoms of the flowers about 1/3 the way down from the top. I then stamped the stems for the flowers in Pear Pizzazz. I stamped the last 3 stems for the large tulips, positioning them so that they large tulips would have room on top of the stems. I stamped some leaves to fill in the bottom of the card. Finally, I stamped two leaves in Pear Pizzazz on a scrap piece of Whisper White to be punched out later. I tied linen thread in a bow around the panel and adhered the large tulips and extra leaves with dimensionals. I stamped the hello sentiment on a panel of whisper white and cut it out with paper snips. I adhered the sentiment to the panel with dimensionals and the panel to a Pear Pizzazz card base with dimensionals as well. I finished off the card front with 3 adhesive sequins.

For the inside, I stamped a tulip, stem and leaf on a Whisper White panel and adhered it to the inside of the card with liquid glue.

Here’s the card I originally made at Stampin’ Up! On Stage. At least the flowers are attached to stems, but they cover each other up and they’re all clumped in the middle, leaving too much white space on the sides. And What’s up with those leaves? Oh Well!! I’m going to make this bad picture small so it’s harder to see.

This one’s much better.

The Stampin’ Up! Timeless Tulips Bundle will be available on January 3 when the new January – June Mini Catalog comes out. It comes with the Timeless Tulips photopolymer stamp set and the Tulip Builder punch. And it has lots of pretty sentiments to celebrate a variety of occasions.

Stampin’ Up! Bloom and Grow Hello Card

Good Morning! Today I have a pretty pink hello card made with the Stampin’ Up! Bloom & Grow cling stamp set. This stamp set has three different images of floral bouquets and some pretty sentiments. It is currently available with the matching Budding Blooms dies in a bundle at 10% discount. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

This card is entered in the Paper Players Sketch Challenge PP452.

I started by stamping the long floral image from the Stampin’ Up! Bloom & Grow stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Thick Whisper White cardstock. I colored it with Petal Pink, Old Olive, So Saffron and Crumb Cake Stampin’ blends and then die cut it with the coordinating die.

I took a small panel of whisper white cardstock and ran it through the Tufted 3D embossing folder and then through the stitched rectangle die. I adhered it to the pink polka dot DSP panel from the Bird Ballad designer series paper and then to Whisper White mat.

I embossed the Hello from the Free as a Bird stamp set in white on a scrap of Petal Pink and cut it out with the smallest of the Stitched Nested Labels dies. I adhered it to the panel with glue dots.

I then took a piece of the beautiful Organdy Striped Ribbon and tied it around the panel and made a bow. I attached the flowers on top with dimensionals. I attached the panel to a Petal Pink card base with dimensionals.

I decorated the inside of the card by attaching a strip of the Bird Ballad Polka Dot DSP to a Whisper White panel and added two die cut sprigs from the Stampin’ Up! Bloom & Grow stamp set. I then attached it to the inside of the card.

All the floral images in this stamp set are so pretty and I can’t wait to use the rest. The line images are perfect for coloring with any of the Stampin’ Up! coloring tools, Stampin’ Blends, watercolor pencils or Stampin’ Write Markers. And they’re small enough that it goes pretty quickly with beautiful results. I hope you enjoyed today’s card. Thanks for visiting and have a great weekend!

Stampin’ Up! To A Wild Rose Hello Card

Good Morning! Today I have a blue floral hello card featuring the Stampin’ Up! To A Wild Rose photopolymer stamp set. I also used the coordinating Wild Rose Dies and both of these come in the To A Wild Rose Bundle at 10% off!

My design for this card was inspired by the current challenge at the Global Design Project #196 (#GDP196) where we CASE (copy and selectively edit) the designer. Here is the inspiration project. Isn’t it beautiful!

You can find supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used. I started by die cutting the frame using the Stitched Rectangle dies on Thick Whisper White cardstock. I next took a piece of Whisper White cardstock and ran it through the Country Floral embossing folder and lightly sponging with Balmy Blue ink. I took the embossed piece and attached it to a Balmy Blue card base with snail adhesive. I took the floral frame and attached it to the card base with dimensionals so that it floats above the embossed piece.

I then started working on the floral arrangement. I stamped the large outline flower from the Stampin’ Up! To A Wild Rose stamp set in Balmy Blue ink on a piece of Thick Whisper White cardstock. I stamped the other two large flower stamps also in Balmy Blue after stamping off once. I die cut it with the coordinating die and brushed it lightly with Wink of Stella to give it a little sparkle. Too bad it doesn’t show up in the picture. I die cut two of the floral outline shapes in Thick Whisper White and two of the outline leaves in Old Olive

I took a scrap of Vellum and brushed it with the embossing buddy and stamped the ‘hello’ greeting from the Stampin’ Up! To A Wild Rose stamp set in Versamark Ink and sprinkled it with silver embossing powder and heat set. When cool, I die cut it with the Stitched Nested Labels die.

I made a bow with the Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle ribbon. I arranged the elements by attaching the die cuts to the back of the rose with glue dots. I added dimensionals to the back of the rose so that it would also float above the embossed background and I added glue from the fine tipped glue pen behind the die cuts where they would meet the frame. I attached the bow with glue dots. I finished off the rose with a glitter enamel dot and the background with Silver Metallic Pearls.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the flower three times on Whisper White after stamping off and masking. I attached the Whisper White panel to the inside of the card with snail. I decorated the envelope using the same stamping technique.

My sister and I have a thing that roses shouldn’t be blue because it’s not natural. But the rose is so pretty and the blue and white is so refreshing. Thanks for visiting!

I hope you have a wonderful 4th of July tomorrow!

Stampin’ Up! A Little Lace Hello Card

Happy Monday Morning! With the last card and 4th of July just around the corner, I wanted to make another red, white and blue card. I also wanted to play with the Stampin’ Up! A Little Lace cling stamp set to see how it would work in a randomly stamped all over pattern – like handmade DSP. Here is the result. You can find supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I was also inspired by this week’s sketch at Freshly Made Sketches – Freshly Made Sketches #393 – A Sketch by Lee Ann. This is a great clean and simple card sketch that is pretty easy to do and results in beautiful cards, so visit them for more inspiration.

I started with a piece of Whisper White card stock and stamped the large image from the Stampin’ Up! A Little Lace cling stamp set and the little rose image several times on a piece of Whisper White cardstock using Real Red ink. I did this again with a strip of whisper white for the inside. I die cut 2 strips of Whisper white on the large stitched lace die, and then cut one edge with the border die. It came out so delicate and pretty!

Using the multipurpose liquid glue, I adhered the lace strips to the top and bottom back of the stamped panel. I then attached the thin Real Red strips to the border, also with liquid multipurpose glue. I colored come of the Clear Faceted Gems red with the Dark Real Red Stampin’ Blends marker and attached them to the center of the flowers.

I made a Blueberry Bushel card base and stamped the hello sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! A Little Lace stamp set on the bottom of the card base using Versamark ink after dusting it with the embossing buddy. I sprinkled it with White embossing powder and heat set. Since I stamped directly on the card base, it was a little warped after heating, so I put the card base under a stack of books for a couple of hours to flatten it. I was relieved that this worked!

For the inside, I attached the stamped strip to the bottom of a Whisper White panel and adhered it to a Real Red mat with snail. Then I attached it to the inside of the card with snail.

As a final touch, I stamped the small rose image to the back of the envelope flap with Real Red ink to coordinate with the card. I have seen so many pretty cards with the large floral spray as the focal image, and I am pleased that it worked out so well when randomly stamped all over like a DSP.

I hope you enjoyed this little patriotic hello card and I hope you have a great week. Thanks for stopping by!

Stampin’ Up! To a Wild Rose Hello Card

Good morning! Today’s card offers a sneak peek of a new stamp set and In-Color from the 2019 – 2020 Annual Catalog. The Stampin’ Up! To a Wild Rose stamp set is a Two-Step stamp set that features a large beautiful rose with set of three leaves and some great sentiments. It also comes with a set of dies and is offered as a bundle in the new catalog at 10% off (Yay!). The new In-Color is Rococo Rose and I used it on the flower, sentiment and card base. Here is the card.

The layout for my card is inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #389. It is simple and lets the stamped rose be the star!

I started by stamping the outline rose in the new In-Color, Rococo Rose. Then I stamped the fuller image in Rococo Rose after stamping off once. Finally I stamped the smallest image in Rococo Rose after stamping off once. I used the matching die cut to cut it out. I stamped two sets of the leaves in Mossy Meadow, first using the outline image full strength and then stamping off twice with the other two stamps. I also used the matching die to cut it out on my die cutting machine.

In the pictures below, you can see how the successive stamping builds up the rich color variations using Two-Step stamp designs (or three steps). You can also see the printer paper I used to stamp off the roses and leaves to get the lighter ink color using the same ink pad. The Stampin’ Up! ink pads are excellent for providing great coverage in a lighter color after stamping off.

You can also see how it’s relatively easy to align the different stamps with photopolymer stamps since they are fairly transparent.

I used the Tin Tile 3D embossing folder on a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock and got the vintage texture which I attached to a Whisper White mat with snail.

I cut a piece of Whisper White Flax ribbon and attached it to the panel with glue dots. I stamped the hello sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! To a Wild Rose stamp set in Rococo Rose on a piece of crumb cake card stock and fussy cut around the letters. I arranged the leaves and attached them to the panel with multipurpose liquid glue which I also used to attach the sentiment to the leaves. I popped the panel on a Rococo Rose card base with dimensionals and popped the rose on with dimensionals as well. I finished the rose off with faux pearls, and a light touch of Wink of Stella.

On the inside of the card, I stamped the line image of the rose from the Stampin’ Up! To a Wild Rose stamp set in the bottom corner of a Whisper White panel after stamping off twice. I ran a piece of crumb cake through the Tin Tile 3D embossing folder and glued it to the bottom of the Whisper White panel with multipurpose liquid glue and attached it to the card base with snail.

The Stampin’ Up! To a Wild Rose stamp set provides great images of the rose and leaves. The sentiments are wonderful, and there are other dies that I didn’t even use in the Wild Rose die set including outline floral dies and a beautiful label. This promises to be a go-to set for a feminine floral card. These stamps and dies will be available on June 4, 2019 when the new 2019 – 2020 Annual Catalog goes live.

Thanks for visiting!

Let us remember and honor those who have given the ultimate sacrifice this Memorial Day.
