Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves Friendship Card

Good Morning! Here’s another quick card made with the beautiful Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves bundle. This card is kind of CASE’d (copy and share everything) from a card in the Sept-Dec 2023 Mini Catalog but I really did change it up by making it a standard A2 size card rather than the elongated one in the catalog. But it worked and it came together pretty quick! You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I embossed Pretty Peacock card stock with the Distressed Tile 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a Pretty Peacock card base. I adhered a strip of All About Autumn 6″ x 6″ specialty designer series paper to the card front with liquid glue and adhered a length of natural ribbon to it with Stampin’ Seal.

I used the dotted embossing dies from the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves dies to add texture to Very Vanilla card stock. I used the small maple leaf die to cut leaves from Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, Crumb Cake and Pumpkin Pie card stock and Oxidized Copper specialty paper. I adhered the leaves to the Very Vanilla panel with glue dots and wrapped it twice with Linen Thread and tied a bow. I adhered the panel to the card front with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Timeless Arrangements stamp set and used the skinny label die from the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves dies to cut it out. I adhered it to the card front with glue dots. I finished the card with the pretty Speckled dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the large maple leaf from the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves stamp set three times around the edges of a Very Vanilla panel. I used stamped off Cajun Craze, stamped off Crumb Cake and stamped off Crushed Curry. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

I loved using the dies to add texture to the very Vanilla panel! And I love the simple little maple leaf die cuts from the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves dies. Can you believe that yesterday was the first day of Autumn? I guess it’s time for sweaters and falling leaves!

Stampin’ Up! Sending Smiles for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! The Stampin’ Up! Sending Smiles photopolymer stamp set and the coordinating Sending dies are a wonderful set for floral cards for any occasion. I used them to make a love and hugs friendship card with the Bright and Beautiful 6″ x 6″ designer series paper for today. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a color challenge this week:

I used liquid glue to adhere a panel of Bright and Beautiful designer series paper to a Blueberry Bushel mat and popped it on the front of an Azure Afternoon card base. I cut another panel of the DSP with the 5th largest Deckled Rectangles die and adhered it to another Blueberry Bushed mat.

I stamped the flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Sending Smiles stamp set in Bubble Bath ink on Basic White and stamped the centers in Lemon Lime Twist. I stamped the large stem and leaves in Pretty Peacock and cut them all out with the coordinating dies. I adhered them to the small panel with glue dots and dimensionals and popped the panel onto the card front with dimensionals. I stamped the small sentiment in Pretty Peacock ink on Lemon Lime Twist and cut it out with the short label die. I popped it on the card front with dimensionals.

I applied adhesive strips behind a strip of Blueberry Bushel and cut the detailed ‘Sending’ word out with the dies. I used another strip of Bright and Beautiful DSP to cut the background work out and adhered the word to the background. I adhered the die cut sentiment to the card with dimensionals and glue dots and finished the card with a Lemon Lime Twist bow and Bubble Bath sequins.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the flower from the Stampin’ Up! Sending Smiles stamp set in Bubble Bath and Lemon Lime Twist in corner of a Basic White panel. I covered it with a mask and stamped the stem and leaves in Pretty Peacock. I adhered the panel to a Blueberry bushel mat before adhering it to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

There are so many sentiments in the Stampin’ Up! Sending Smiles stamp set and the two label dies in the Sending dies are a perfect fit.

Stampin’ Up! Apple Harvest for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good Morning! Welcome to the August Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop! The theme for this month’s hop is “Fall Frenzy” and I used the Stampin’ Up! Apple Harvest cling stamp set to make a friendship card for our hop today. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock cuts.

I adhered a panel of Inked Botanicals designer series paper to a Garden Green mat and adhered it to the front of a Crushed Curry card base. I stamped the large apple branch from the Stampin’ Up! Apple Harvest cling stamp set in Early Espresso ink on a Very Vanilla panel.

I used watercolor pencils to color the image. I used Daffodil Delight, Real Red and Cherry Cobbler on the apples, Pecan Pie and Early Espresso on the branches and Granny Apple Green, Old Olive and Garden Green on the leaves. I took my time and colored each section, going over it several times to blend the colors and get the color intensity I wanted.

I used the 4th largest Deckled Rectangles die to cut the bottom and sides of the image, leaving a straight edge on the top. I popped the apples on the card front with dimensionals. I stamped a second image and colored the small apple and the leaves over the apples and fussy cut them with my paper snips. I used my Early Espresso Stampin’ Write marker to color the edges and popped the small apple on the card with dimensionals. I curved the leaves with my bone folder and adhered the stems and base to the card with liquid glue. This gives it a lot of dimension!

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Apple Harvest stamp set in Garden Green ink on Very Vanilla. I cut it out with the coordinating label die from the Apple Blossom dies. These dies are currently available on the Clearance Rack at a huge discount, so now is a great time to pick them up! I adhered the label to the card with glue dots and dimensionals and finished the card with Rustic Metallic dots and a Linen Thread bow

For the inside of the card, I stamped the large apple from the Stampin’ Up! Apple Harvest stamp set in Early Espresso ink on a Very Vanilla panel and colored it with watercolor pencils like the apples on the card front. I trimmed the bottom with a strip of Inked Botanicals DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

I love going apple picking in the fall (fresh picked apples are the best!) and I’m lucky to have wonderful orchards nearby. My apple pies are usually terrible – too runny with mushy crusts – so I make apple crisp and applesauce. I think it will be time to go apple picking soon and I can’t wait!

Stampin’ Up! Happy Labels Card

Good Morning! The pretty Stampin’ Up! Happy Labels cling stamp set is full of unique and wonderful sentiments and it’s one of my favorites. I paired it with the Paper Florist dies and and used the Foursquare masks to make a pretty background. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I used the fancy mask in the Foursquare mask pack to cover a Basic White panel and secured it with post-it tape. I applied Moody Mauve ink with my blending brush all over, making some areas darker. Next, I used the smaller ‘X’ mask to apply Lemon Lime Twist ink with a blending brush – the ‘X’s line up in the center of the fancy squares. I ran the panel through the Quatrefoil Tile embossing folder to add texture and used a sponge dauber to add Moody Mauve ink around the edges. I adhered the panel to the front of a Moody Mauve card base with liquid glue.

I used the large elongated label die from the Something Fancy dies to cut a Moody Mauve panel. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Happy Labels dies in Moody Mauve ink on a Basic White panel. I cut it out with the smaller elongated label die and adhered it to the large die cut with liquid glue. I adhered the layered label to the card with liquid glue.

I cut a Bubble Bath panel with the Paper Florist die and applied some Moody Mauve ink to the centers of the large petal clusters with a sponge dauber. I used a Bone Folder to curve the petals down and adhered the clusters together with liquid glue. I cut centers from Basic White and Daffodil Delight and adhered them to the flower. I popped the flower on the card with dimensionals. I cut two leaves from Lemon Lime Twist card stock and tucked them under the flower with a glue dot. I finished the card with a Parakeet Party Baker’s twine bow and Lemon Lime Twist tinsel gems.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Happy Labels stamp set in Moody Mauve ink in the center of a Basic White panel. I cut the hearts from the Share A Milkshake dies from Bubble Bath and adhered them next to the sentiment. I made a strip of Basic White to match the front background and used it to trim the bottom of the panel before adhering it to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

It’s fun to use masks for creating different backgrounds and playing with different coloring techniques! I was happy to use my pretty background with the Stampin’ Up! Happy Labels stamp set – it’s an easy go-to for friendly and caring sentiments.

Stampin’ Up! Gorgeously Made for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! I pulled out the sweet One Horse Open Sleigh 6″ x 6″ designer series paper again to use with the Stampin’ Up! Gorgeously Made bundle for a simple friendship card. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a pretty sketch challenge this week and I used the torn edge dies from the Stampin’ Up! Gorgeously Made bundle to change it up a bit:

I used liquid glue to adhere a strip of patterned One Horse Open Sleigh designer series paper to the right side of the front of a Crumb Cake card base.

I cut the right side of a Copper Clay panel with the torn edge die from the Stampin’ Up! Gorgeously Made dies and adhered a panel of One Horse Open Sleigh DSP (the one with the sweet fox) to the front with liquid glue. I adhered the layered panel to the card front with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Gorgeously Made cling stamp set in Copper Clay ink and cut it out with the jagged edge label die. I adhered a loopy Linen Thread bow to the back of the label with a glue dot and adhered the label to the card front with dimensionals. I finished the card with Copper Clay dots.

For the inside of the card, I trimmed the side of a Basic White panel with a strip of One Horse Open Sleigh 6″ x 6″ DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

I love the images in the One Horse Open Sleigh 6″ x 6″ designer series pack and they work just as well for a Christmas card as as any occasion.

Stampin’ Up! Softly Sketched Friendship Card with Video Tutorial

Good Morning! Here is a monotone friendship card in yellow and gold using the pretty Stampin’ Up! Softly Sketched cling stamp set. I’ve paired the cotton ball image with some Inked Botanicals 6″ x 6″ designer series paper and Crushed Curry and Wild Wheat card stock to get a natural look. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I made a video tutorial for this card and posted it to my YouTube Channel and you can view it HERE.

Adhere a panel of Crushed Curry Inked Botanicals DSP to the front of a Wild Wheat card base with liquid glue. Stamp the cotton ball image from the Stampin’ Up! Softly Sketched stamp set in Wild Wheat ink on a Wild Wheat panel. After the ink dries, color the cotton balls with a white watercolor pencil. This gives the cotton a soft highlight! Adhere the stamped panel to a Crushed Curry mat with liquid glue.

Wrap a length of Wild Wheat jute around the panel and tie a knot. Stamp the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Softly Sketched stamp set in Wild Wheat ink on a Crushed Curry strip. Use paper snips to make a fishtail banner on one end. Adhere the label to the stamped panel with glue dots.

Cut a panel of leafy vellum with the leaf sprig die from the Gorgeously Made dies and adhere it to the card front with glue dots. Adhere the die cut to the card front with glue dots. Adhere the stamped panel to the card front with dimensionals.

For the inside of the card, stamp the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Softly Sketched stamp set in Wild Wheat ink in the corner of a Basic White panel. Trim the bottom with a strip of Inked Botanicals DSP and adhere the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The pretty images from the Stampin’ Up! Softly Sketched stamp set are perfect for stamping on card stock and coloring with watercolor pencils. The result is softer than coloring with markers and it’s pretty easy to do. I hope you like the colors – I don’t think that they’re for everyone, but I do like the way the card came out. Experimenting with different colors is a big part of the fun!

Stampin’ Up! Lighting The Way for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! The fireflies are out now in my backyard, so I was inspired to bring out the Stampin’ Up! Lighting The Way photopolymer stamp set and dies to make a summer card. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a theme challenge for our Blog Hop this week:

I adhered a fern panel of Inked Botanicals 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to the front of a Lost Lagoon card base with liquid glue. I embossed a Pool Party panel with the Fern 3D embossing folder and adhered it to a Lost Lagoon mat. I adhered the layered panel to the card front with liquid glue. I cut the lantern from the Stampin’ Up! Lighting The Way dies from Pebbled Path card stock. I traced the lantern on a Vellum panel and cut it out with my paper snips. I stamped the large light in Lemon Lolly on the trimmed vellum and adhered it to the back of the lantern with glue dots.

I cut the large and small fireflies from the Stampin’ Up! Lighting The Way dies from Pebbled Path card stock. I also cut the large wings from vellum and large body from Lemon Lolly and assembled the large firefly with liquid glue.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Lighting The Way stamp set in Lost Lagoon ink on Basic White and cut it out with a circle from the Stylish Shapes dies. I adhered the label to the card front with glue dots. I took a single strand of Pebbled Path jute and looped it through the lantern handle before adhering it with dimensionals. I adhered the small fireflies with glue dots and the large firefly with dimensionals. I finished the card front with faceted dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the small firefly from the Stampin’ Up! Lightning The Way stamp set in Pebbled Path ink on Basic White. I stamped the small light in stamped off Lemon Lolly and stamped the firefly trail in full strength Lemon Lolly. I trimmed the bottom of the panel with a strip of Inked Botanicals DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Lighting The Way stamp set and dies make a pretty card for summer nights. The sentiments are inspirational and full of positive energy and the firefly stamps and dies are wonderful!

Stampin’ Up! Inked and Tiled for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good Morning! Welcome to the July Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop! The theme for this month’s hop is “Fun Fold” and I used the Stampin’ Up! Inked and Tiled cling stamp set to make a simple accordion tri-fold friendship card for our hop!

I adhered a Calypso Coral panel of Inked Botanicals 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to a Calypso Coral card base. I scored a Crushed Curry mini card base in a mountain/valley manner to create the tri-fold accordion and adhered it to the center of card base with liquid glue. I adhered the smaller panels of Inked Botanicals DSP to the left and middle panels of the mini card.

I used the dies from the Timeless Arrangements die set to cut foliage for the mini card front. I applied liquid adhesive to the bars connecting the sprigs to build the layers. I cut two long leaf sprig sets and two leaf clusters from Old Olive. I adhered the leaf clusters to the right side of the sprig sets with liquid glue.

I cut two floral sets from Calypso Coral and adhered them on top of the Old Olive leaf sets with liquid glue. I cut two berry sprig sets from Petal Pink and adhered them to the layered die cuts with liquid glue. I love how easy it is to build up the floral bouquets with the solid bars – the spacing is perfect!

I adhered the two sets of layered die cuts to the mini card, centering them and spacing the bars 1/2″ apart. I cut 4 floral sprigs (with holes) from Daffodil Delight and adhered them to the layered die cuts with liquid glue.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Inked and Tiled cling stamp set in Calypso Coral ink on Basic White and cut it out with the large label die from the Timeless Arrangements dies. I cut a leaf sprig from Old Olive and a floral sprig from Daffodil Delight and adhered them to the side of the sentiment with liquid glue and adhered the label to the mini card with dimensionals and glue dots. I finished the card with Lemon Lime Twist tinsel gems.

For the inside of the card, I inked up the flower from the Stampin’ Up! Inked and Tiled stamp set in Daffodil Delight ink. i used a Sponge Dauber to apply Calypso Coral ink to the center and stamped the flower on a Basic White panel. I stamped the sentiment in Old Olive ink next to the flower and used stamped off Petal Pink to stamp a light wood grain design under the sentiment.

The Timeless Arrangements dies make such sweet arrangements and they go so well with the Stampin’ Up! Inked and Tiled stamp set and Inked Botanicals designer series paper.

I adhered two ice cream scoops together with liquid glue and topped it off with a die cut fudge and whipped cream. I slipped a die cut spoon into the slot, adhering it with liquid glue. I repeated the process for the second ice cream and stamped two cherries in Real Red. I cut them out, adhered them to the top of the ice creams. I adhered ice creams to the die cut circles on top of the dishes with dimensionals.
