Stampin’ Up! Country Birdhouse for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! I finally got to play with the pretty Stampin’ Up! Country Birdhouse bundle and made this sweet hello card. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a pretty color challenge this week and I think I used all the colors:

I embossed a strip of Country Lace designer series paper with the Eyelet 3D embossing folder and adhered it to another panel of Country Lace DSP. I adhered the layered panel to the front of a Basic Beige card base with liquid glue. I used the Stampin’ Up! Country Birdhouse dies to cut out different panels of Country Woods DSP to make the birdhouse. I used liquid glue to adhere the die cuts together and adhered the birdhouse to the card with dimensionals.

I stamped the bird and flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Country Birdhouse stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Basic White. I colored the bird with light Boho Blue and light Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends and I used Flirty Flamingo, Peach Pie, dark Daffodil Delight and light Lemon Lime Twist Stampin’ Blends to color the flowers. I cut out the birds and floweers with the coordinating dies. I also die cut some leaves and a flower from Basic White and colored them with light Lemon Lime Twist and Light Boho Blue Stampin’ Blends.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Country Birdhouse stamp set. in Misty Moonlight ink on a Basic Beige panel. I used one of the new tag dies from the upcoming Greetings of the Season dies (available July 3) to cut it out. I colored a length of Linen Trhead with the light Misty Moonlight Stampin’ Blend and looped it through the hole, tying a knot. I adhered it to the card with glue dots and dimensionals. I adhered the bird to and flowers to the card with glue dots and dimensionals and finished with metallic textured dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the flower bouquet from the Stampin’ Up! Country Birdhouse stamp set across the bottom of a Basic White panel using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the flowers like the flowers on the front and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The die cut birdhouse from the Stampin’ Up! Country Birdhouse bundle is really wonderful and fun to make. And the sweet images and pretty sentiments make this a pretty versatile bundle.

Stampin’ Up! Happiest Day Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Happiest Day stamp set is a fun photopolymer stamp set with the best sentiments and cheerful images. I used it with the colorful Bright and Beautiful 6″ x 6″ designer series paper and Countryside Corners dies for today’s card. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I adhered a panel of Bright and Beautiful designer series paper to a Lemon Lime Twist card base with liquid glue. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Happiest Day stamp set using Versamark ink on a panel of Bright and Beautiful DSP and sprinkled it with white embossing powder. I shook off the excess and heated the powder with my heat tool. I cut it out with the 4th largest die from the Countryside Corners dies. I cut a Blueberry Bushel panel with the next largest size die and adhered the label to the Blueberry Bushel die cut. I adhered the label to the card with dimensionals.

I stamped the dragonfly outline from the Stampin’ Up! Happiest Day stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink three times on Basic White. I used the wing filler stamps to color the wings, using Balmy Blue and Fresh Freesia, Lost Lagoon and Lemon Lime Twist, and Berry Burst and Bubble Bath inks. I love those dotted wing filler stamps! I fussy cut the dragonflies with my paper snips and adhered them to the card with dimensionals and glue dots.

I decorated the space around the dragonflies with colorful small sequins and used Lemon Lolly baker’s twine to wrap around the top and tie a bow.

For the inside of the card I stamped the sun and sun rays from the Stampin’ Up! Happiest Day stamp set in daffodil Delight ink in the top corner of a Basic White panel. I used a Blending Brush to apply Lemon Lolly ink around the sun and trimmed the bottom with a strip of DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

Isn’t that sentiment the best! The Stampin’ Up! Happiest Day stamp set is perfect for making cheerful, happy cards that make people smile.

Stampin’ Up! Coffee With Friends Thinking Of You Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Coffee With Friends stamp set is a fun set expressing friendship and I used it with the pretty A Little Latte designer series paper to make a simple fun fold thinking of you card. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I adhered plaid panel of A Little Latte designer series paper to a Calypso Coral card base with liquid glue. I adhered another panel with pretty coffee cups to the front of a Lost Lagoon mini card and adhered it to the main card base with liquid glue.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Coffee With Friends stamp set in Pecan Pie Ink on a Petal Pink panel. I cut it out with the circle die from the Radiating Stitches dies. Sadly, I learned that these dies have retired since I made the card, so I would recommend using the awesome Spotlight on Nature dies or the Everyday Details dies instead.

I made a bow with Crumb Cake baker’s twine and adhered it to the back of the label and adhered the label to the card with dimensionals. I finished the card with Petal Pink swirl dots.

For the inside of the card I stamped the ladies on the bench from the Stampin’ Up! Coffee with Friends stamp set in Pecan Pie ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the sentiment in Lost Lagoon ink and adhered the panel to the inside of the Mini Card with Stampin’ Seal.

The A Little Latte designer series paper is so pretty and I thought it would coordinate with the Stampin’ Up! Coffee With Friends stamp set. There are so many little coffee shops near me that are great to catch up with friends and relax. I hope you have some places near you too!

Stampin’ Up! Country Flowers Friendship Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Country Flowers bundle has pretty flowers, greenery and containers and sweet sentiments. One of the containers is a teapot and for today’s card, I stamped it on a panel of Country Woods designer series paper for a rustic look. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I embossed a panel of Crumb Cake card stock with the Eyelet 3D embossing folder and adhered it to a Crumb Cake card base with liquid glue. I stamped the teapot from the Stampin’ Up! Country Flowers stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a panel of Country Woods designer series paper. I colored it with a Blender Pen and Gray Granite ink and adhered the panel to a Crumb Cake mat.

I stamped the flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Country Flowers on another panel of Country Woods designer series paper using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the flowers with a Blender Pen using Petunia Pop, Peach Pie, Lost Lagoon, Lemon Lime Twist, Melon Mambo and Daffodil Delight inks. I cut out the flowers with the coordinating die and adhered it to the DSP panel with dimensionals. I adhered the decorated panel to the card with dimensionals.

I stamped sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Country Flowers stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Gray Granite and popped it on the card with dimensionals. I used white baker’s twine to make a small bow and adhered it with a glue dot and finished the card with Brushed Brass Butterflies.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the little eyelet design from the Stampin’ Up! Country Flowers stamp set using Gray Granite ink on a Basic White panel. I adhered the panel to a mat using the same Country Woods designer series paper as the card front and adhered the layered panel to the inside of the card.

Today’s card was inspired by the images for the Stampin’ Up! Country Flowers bundle in the new Annual Catalog. The images on the wood grain DSP remind me of paintings on wood like you would find in an old country farmhouse.

Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Wishes Thinking Of You Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Wishes bundle is a really sweet wildflower themed bundle with wonderful sentiments and great dies. I used it with the Beautiful Thoughtful Journey 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to make a thinking of you card with watercolor techniques. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I adhered pretty panel of Thoughtful Journey 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to a Mossy Meadow mat with liquid glue. I cut a panel of Lost Lagoon with the leaf dies from the Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Journey dies and adhered two of them to the DSP panel with glue dots.

I cut a Basic White panel with the thistle dies from the Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Journey dies twice. I used a water painter and Heather Highland ink to color the flowers and Lost Lagoon and Mossy Meadow inks to color the stems. I did this quickly so that it has a splotchy look with different shades of color. After they dried, I adhered them to the DSP panel with dots of liquid glue. I adhered the last two Lost Lagoon die cut leaves on top with glue dots.

I used my light Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blend to color a length of Linen Thread and wrapped it around the panel twice and made a bow and adhered the panel to the front of a Boho Blue card base. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Wishes stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink on Wild Wheat and cut it out with the label die from the Perennial Postage dies. I adhered the label to the card with dimensionals and finished with several brass dragonfly embellishments.

For the inside of the card I used Highland Heather and Lost Lagoon Stampin’ Write markers to ink up the thistle stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Wishes stamp set. I used a sponge dauber to add touches of Mossy Meadow to the stamp. I lightly spritzed the stamp with water and stamped the side of a Basic White panel. I used the spatter stamp to apply some twice stamped off Wild Wheat ink to the corner before adhering it to the inside of the card.

I was inspired by the beautiful watercolor look of the Thoughtful Journey 6″ x 6″ DSP to use water techniques to make todays card. It’s a lot of fun to use different coloring techniques and get nice results. And water coloring with ink is pretty easy on small cuts like these thistle from the Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Wishes bundle. Give it a try!

Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies You Made My Day Card

Good Morning! I am so much in love with the new Basic Beige neutral from the Stampin’ Up! 2024-2025 Annual Catalog, and I had to use it for another card today. I used the Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisy stamps and dies with the Meandering Meadows 6″ x 6″ designer series paper with a Basic Beige card base – what do you think? You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I embossed a panel of Basic Beige with the Fern 3D embossing folder and adhered it to a Basic Beige card base. I adhered a panel of Meandering Meadows 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to a Garden Green mat and wrapped a length of Linen Thread around it twice before tying a bow. I adhered the DSP panel to the card front with dimensionals.

I used the large triple flower die from the Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies dies to cut the leaves from Garden Green card stock. I adhered the leaves to the card with a glue dot, tucking it under the bow. I used the same die to cut the medium flower and trimmed the connected petals. I colored the center with a dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend. I used the medium detailed die to cut another Basic White panel and gently rolled the petals upward. I adhered it to the larger petal cluster with dots of liquid glue and adhered it to the card with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies stamp set in Garden Green ink on a Granny Apple Green strip. I cut it out with the angle label die from the Something Fancy dies using a two step method and adhered it to the card with glue dots and dimensionals. I finished the card with three iridescent green pearls.

I left the inside of the card blank, simply adhering a strip of DSP to the bottom of a Basic White panel. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal. I like the contrast of a Basic White inside panel with the Basic Beige frame, it’s subtle, but nto washed out.

The Basic Beige card base is perfect with the bold colors in the DSP image. I think it picks up some green from the image and mat and it goes well with the subtle pinks and blues in the sky. I love how the die cut daisy pops and picks up the daisies in the field. And I’m so glad that the Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies stamp set and dies are carried over to the new catalog. I’m ready to go out and pick some!

Stampin’ Up! Country Flowers Hello Card

Good Morning! Here’s another card made with the pretty new Stampin’ Up! Country Flowers bundles. And I used the new neutral color Basic Beige with Petal Pink, Lost Lagoon and Gray Granite for a soft look. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I adhered a strip of Country Lace designer series paper to the front of a Basic Beige card base with liquid glue. I adhered another panel to a Lost Lagoon mat and wrapped a length of Petal Pink ribbon around it. I tied the ribbon on the side with Gray Granite baker’s twine making a bow and adhered the panel to the the side of the card with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Country Birdhouse stamp set using Lost Lagoon ink on Basic Beige and cut it out with the Stylish Shapes dies. I stamped the can and flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Country Flowers stamp set using Gray Granite ink on Basic White. I colored the can with the light Gray Granite Stampin’ Blend and the flowers with Petal Pink, light Lost Lagoon and Lemon Lolly Stampin’ Blends and cut them out with the coordinating dies.

I adhered the can to the card with glue dots and popped the flowers on with dimensionals. I cut the double flower die from the Stampin’ Up! Country Flowers Dies from Petal Pink card stock and a set of leaves from Lost Lagoon. I adhered the die cut flowers and leaves to the card with glue dots and finished the flower centers with small Lemon Lolly dots.

For the inside of the card I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Country Flowers stamp set in Lost Lagoon ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the flowers in Petal Pink ink and trimmed the bottom with a strip of DSP . I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

I love the farmhouse look of the Stampin’ Up! Country Flowers bundle and the new Basic Beige color gives the card a light and clean look, even with layers and ribbons!

Stampin’ Up! Country Flowers Sending Love Card

Good Morning! One of the pretty new bundles in the Stampin’ Up! 2024-2025 Annual Catalog is the Stampin’ Up! Country Flowers bundle. This pretty photopolymer stamp and die set has pretty florals and different pots you can arrange them in along with a little stool to stand it on. I used the die cut flowers and leaves with the Country Lace and Country Woods designer series paper to make a Sending Love friendship card. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I adhered a strip of Country Woods designer series paper to the side of a Country Lace designer series paper panel with liquid glue and popped it on a Basic White mat. I wrapped a length of Crumb Cake baker’s twine around the DSP seam and tied a bow and adhered it to the front of a Misty Moonlight card base.

I used the large circle from the Stylish Shapes dies to cut an panel of Country Lace DSP and stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Country Flowers stamp set in Crumb Cake ink at the top. I used the tub die from the Stampin’ Up! Country Flowers dies to cut a panel of Country Woods designer series paper and adhered it to the die cut circle with liquid glue.

I cut the flowers and leaves from the Stampin’ Up! Country Flowers dies from Flirty Flamingo, Petal Pink and Old Olive card stock. I used Flirty Flamingo for the large floral and a double flower dies, Petal Pink for the triple floral die and Old Olive for all the leaves dies. I adhered the leaves and Flirty Flamingo flowers with glue dots and used bits of dimensionals to adhere the Petal Pink flowers. I finished the flower centers with small Peach Pie shimmer dots.

For the inside of the card I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Country Flowers stamp set in Crumb Cake ink on a Basic White panel. I trimmed the bottom with a strip of DSP and adhered the remaining die cut flowers and leaves with liquid glue. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Country Flowers bundle is part of the Country Woods Suite and these products have a nice modern country farmhouse feel. The sentiments are sweet and fresh and this bundle gives a lot of pretty options with different stamped floral bouquet and container images in addition to wonderful coordinating dies. Be sure to check it out!

Stampin’ Up! Layers of Beauty Grateful Card

Good Morning! Today is the big day with the premiere of the new Stampin’ Up! 2024-2025 Annual Catalog! To celebrate, I used the new Stampin’ Up! Layers of Beauty bundle and the Unbounded Beauty designer series paper to make a simple Grateful For You card. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I adhered a panel of Unbounded Beauty designer series paper to the front of a Shy Shamrock card base with liquid glue. Shy Shamrock is one of the new 2024-2026 In Colors that are now available!

I stamped part of the large bouquet from the Stampin’ Up! Layers of Beauty stamp set using Gray Granite ink on a Basic White panel. I used the coordinating masks in the bundle to color the flower and leaves with Blending Brushes. The masks have numbers, and starting with #1, I layered the masks over the stamped image. I used the new Peach Pie In Color ink with masks number 1-3, applying more ink to each layer to get more intense color. Masks 4 & 5 are for the leaves and I used a Blending Brush with Shy Shamrock ink to color them, using light color for mask #4 and intense color for mask #5. Didn’t they come out pretty?

After the flowers were colored, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Layers of Beauty stamp set using Gray Granite ink in the corner and adhered the panel to a Shy Shamrock mat. I tied a length of white Baker’s Twine around the panel and made a bow and popped the panel on the card front with dimensionals. I finished with Peach Pie shimmer gems.

For the inside of the card I stamped part of the large bouquet from the Stampin’ Up! Layers of Beauty stamp set in the lower corner of a Basic White panel using Peach Pie ink. I stamped a smaller flower in the upper corner and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

I’ve really loved playing with the Stampin’ Up! Layers of Beauty bundle and the other items in the Unbounded Beauty Suite from the new Catalog. And I love, love, love the new 2024-2026 In Colors – they’re so bright and cheerful! And I hope you enjoy them as well!

Stampin’ Up! Flowers of Beauty Friendship Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Flowers of Beauty is a pretty new bundle from the upcoming Stampin’ Up! 2024-2025 Annual Catalog in the new Unbounded Love Suite. I used it with the beautiful new Unbounded Love designer series paper and I did something different for today – I embossed the detailed flower using white embossing powder on the designer series paper! You can find the currently available products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I adhered a panel of Unbounded Beauty designer series paper to the front of a Pretty In Pink card base with liquid glue. Pretty In Pink is one of the new In Colors and it’s a returning color from many, many years ago. I cut a panel of the retiring Vellum Basics (the leafy design) with the large circle from the Stylish Shapes dies and adhered it to the card with Stampin’ Seal. I used the retiring white herringbone ribbon to wrap the card front and tie a knot at one side.

I stamped the large flower detailed stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Flowers of Beauty stamp set using Versamark ink on a panel of Pretty In Pink Unbounded Beauty DSP. I sprinkled it with white embossing powder and shook off the excess. I heated the powder with my heat tool until it was bright and shiny and cut it out with the coordinating die. I made three flowers this way. I used the same technique to make two leaf clusters using a panel of Shy Shamrock Unbounded Beauty DSP.

I cut a Basic White panel with the leaf sprig die from the Stampin’ Up! Flowers of Beauty dies and adhered it to the card with glue dots, tucking it under the ribbon. I adhered two of the embossed flowers and leaf clusters to the card with dimensionals. I stamped the small sentiment from the Unbounded Love stamp set using Pretty In Pink ink on Pretty In Pink card stock and trimmed the end with paper snips. I adhered the label to the card with glue dots and finished with the new Pretty In Pink shimmer gems.

For the inside of the card I trimmed the bottom of the a Basic White panel with Unbounded Love DSP and adhered the last embossed flower to the corner. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

White embossing on DSP is a quick way to ‘color’ a pretty image with texture. In this case it picks up nicely with the white images in the background and the detailed images in the Stampin’ Up! Flowers of Beauty stamps are beautiful using this technique. Here’s the stamp set and dies that come in the bundle:

And here are pictures of the beautiful Unbounded Beauty designer series paper. I love that these papers use the pretty new 2024-2026 In Colors.

These beautiful new products will be available on May 1, 2024 when the new Annual Catalog opens for orders. That’s just a few days away!
