Stampin’ Up! Notes of Nature for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! Today iis the big day for the opening of the January-April 2024 Mini Catalog and I’m using the pretty new Stampin’ Up! Notes of Nature bundle with the Nature’s Sweetness specialty designer series paper for a Hello card. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a pretty sketch challenge this week:

I adhered a panel of Pebbled Path grid Nature’s Sweetness specialty designer series paper to the front of a Soft Sea Foam card base with liquid glue. I cut the side of another panel of the DSP with the notebook die and adhered it to the card with liquid glue. The cool thing about this pattern is that the script is written in both directions, so you don’t need to worry about it being upside down!

I stamped the field notes stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Notes of Nature stamp set in Pecan Pie ink on a Pecan Pie panel. I stamped the sprig over the notes and cut it out with the second largest circle from the Stylish Shapes dies. I stamped the leaf cluster three times in Pebbled Path ink on Basic White and colored the leaves with the light Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blend. I stamped the flower twice using Pebbled Path ink on Basic White and colored it with Petal Pink and light Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends. I cut out the leaves and flowers with the coordinating dies.

I adhered two die cut leaf clusters to the die cut circle with glue dots. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Notes Of Nature stamp set in Pebbled Path ink on Soft Sea Foam and used the short fat banner die from the Stylish Shaped dies to cut it out in two steps. I adhered the label to the circle with dimensionals and adhered the decorated circle to the card with dimensionals. I made a loopy bow with linen thread and adhered it to the card with a glue dot and popped one of the die cut flowers over it with dimensionals and a glue dot. I finished the front with Pebbled Path dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the grid from the Stampin’ Up! Notes of Nature stamp set several times using twice stamped off Pebbled Path ink on Basic White.  I adhered the last die cut leaves and flowers together with liquid glue and adhered it to the panel. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Notes of Nature bundle is a wonderful set with pretty images and sentiments and great dies. The Nature’s Sweetness is absolutely gorgeous with the gold foil touches. Both of these products will also work well with other flower and animal stamp sets to fill out your Nature’s Journal.

Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine Fun Fold Card

Good Morning and Happy New Year! I’m starting the year with a Fun Fold Valentine made with the sweet Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine bundle. This is a stamp and punch bundle that is coming out in the new January – April Mini Catalog on Thursday (YAY!!) and my fun fold is a mini accordion tent card that was inspired by Robin Ambrecht . You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I adhered a panel of plaid Bee Mine designer series paper to the front of a Sweet Sorbet card base with liquid glue. I adhered a Sweet Sorbet panel to the center with liquid glue to serve as a mat for my accordion and mini tent.

I scored and folded a floral panel of Bee Mine DSP and adhered the large panel to the Sweet Sorbet Mat. I adhered the last two panels of DSP to the Balmy Blue mini tent card and applied liquid glue to the edges of the mini tent card. I carefully lined up the tent to the accordion and pressed to adhere the glue. I opened and closed the accordion to make sure the mini card tent and accordion lined up both when the card was open and closed.

I stamped the bee from the Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine stamp set in Daffodil Delight and the stripes and face in Memento Tuxedo Black on Basic White and punched it out. I stamped the wings in Petal Pink and punched it out with the large heart punch and colored the wings with light Petal Pink Stampin’ Blend. I stamped the antenna in Memento Tuxedo Black and punched them out with the small heart and adhered the bee with liquid glue. i popped the bee onto the mini card with dimensionals. I stamped the love you sentiment in Sweet Sorbet on Petal Pink and punched it out with the large heart. I adhered it to the card with glue dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine stamp set in Sweet Sorbet on Basic White. I stamped the flower in Petal Pink and the stem in Lemon Lime Twist and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with liquid glue. I closed the card to make sure the inside panel is covered when the card is closed – good thing liquid glue gives you wiggle room to move things a bit if needed!

The Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine bundle and Bee Mine designer series paper are so cute and cheerful and I’m thrilled that they’ll finally be available to everyone later this week! Here’s the stamp set and punch:

Cute bees, hearts, flowers and honey are a perfect way to start getting ready for Valentine’s Day.

Stampin’ Up! Stippled Roses for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! Here’s an Anniversary card made with the beautiful new Stampin’ Up! Stippled Roses bundle from the upcoming January – April 2024 Mini Catalog that will be available next week. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a theme challenge this week with the theme of Celebrate. My card celebrates a Wedding Anniversary!

I embossed a panel of Distressed Gold specialty paper with the Distressed Tile 3d embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a Thick Basic white card base with liquid glue. I cut a panel of leafy vellum with the third largest deckled rectangles dies and adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Seal. I made a large loopy bow with gold twine and adhered it with a glue dot.

I stamped the large rose bouquet from the Stampin’ Up! Stippled Roses bundle using Versamark ink on Basic White and sprinkled it with gold embossing powder and shook off the excess. I heated it with my heat tool until the powder was bright and shiny and cut it out with the coordinating die. I adhered it to the card over the loopy bow with dimensionals. I cut two leaf sprigs from gold foil and adhered them to the card with glue dots, tucking them under the roses.

I stamped the sentiment from the Ringed with Nature stamp set in Versamark ink on a Basic White strip. I sprinkled it with gold embossing powder and shook off the excess. I heated it with my heat tool until it was bright and shiny and trimmed the ends with my paper snips. I adhered it to the card with glue dots and dimensionals.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the single rose from the Stampin’ Up! Stippled Roses stamp set in Versamark ink on a Basic White panel. I sprinkled it with gold embossing powder and shook off the excess. I heated it with my heat tool until it was briight and shiny. I embossed a strip of Distressed Gold specialty paper with the Distressed Tile 3d embossing folder and adhered it to the bottom of the panel.  I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Stippled Roses stamps are beautiful when embossed! When a celebration is called for, gold is always appropriate! And remember that the Stampin’ Up! January – April 2024 Mini Catalog will be open next – that’s another thing to celebrate!

Stampin’ Up! Notes of Nature Hello Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Notes of Nature bundle is a wonderful new bundle from the upcoming new January-April 2024 Mini Catalog. It’s from the Nature’s Sweetness suite of products and has fun botanical images of cacao and vanilla pods. I used the pretty images from the Nature’s Sweetness specialty designer series paper for a simple Hello card today. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

Today’s card also uses the pretty sketch from Freshly Made Sketches #616:

I adhered a panel of Nature’s Sweetness specialty designer series paper to the front of a Pecan Pie card base with liquid glue. I adhered another panel featuring cacao pods on top with liquid glue. Using the pretty images from the DSP makes the card really quick and easy to make!

I used one of the leaf sprig dies from the Stampin’ Up! Notes of Nature dies to cut a parakeet panel twice. I adhered the die cut leaf sprigs to the card with glue dots.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Notes of Nature stamp set in Pebbled Path ink on Basic White. I trimmed the ends with paper snips and adhered a length of Natural Wavy Trim to the bottom with glue dots. I adhered the label to the card with dimensionals and finished with cool cork dots that are also part of the Nature’s Sweetness suite.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the leaf cluster from the Stampin’ Up! Notes of Nature stamp set in Pebbled Path ink in the corner of a Basic White panel. I adhered a strip of DSP to the bottom and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

I love the rich earth tones in the Nature’s Sweetness suite and the botanical line drawings are fabulous! Here’s a picture of the Stampin’ Up! Notes of Nature bundle:

These products will be available on January 4, when the new mini catalog opens.

Stampin’ Up! Stippled Roses Thank You Card

Good Morning! Here’s another sneak peek of the pretty Stampin’ Up! Stippled Roses bundle, but instead of using the pretty stamped roses images, I used the die cuts and combined them with the retiring Garden Walk 6″ x 6″ designer series paper. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I adhered a strip of Garden Walk designer series paper to the side of a floral panel and adhered the layered DSP to a Pretty Peacock mat. I adhered the panel to the front of a Poppy Parade card base with dimensionals.

I used the largest rectangle from the Nested Essentials dies to cut a Pretty Peacock panel. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Stippled Roses cling stamp set in Pretty Peacock ink on a Basic White panel and cut it out with the second largest rectangle die from the Nested Essentials dies. I adhered the die cuts together with liquid glue.

I cut a Wild Wheat panel with the long leaf cluster die from the Stampin’ Up! Stippled Roses dies twice and cut the flowers twice from a Poppy Parade panel. I adhered the leaves to the card with glue dots and adhered the flowers on top. I added small white dots for the flower centers and iridescent gemstones around the flower cluster to finish the card.

For the inside of the card, I adhered a strip of DSP to the bottom of a Basic White panel and adhered the flowers and leaves to the top corner. I trimmed the flowers and leaves and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The die cuts give a different, more casual look to the Stampin’ Up! Stippled Roses bundle and it goes well with lots of different papers. The bundle will be available on Jan 4, 2024 when the new Jan-Apr 2024 Mini Catalog goes live. Here’s a picture of the bundle. Aren’t the sentiments beautiful?

Perennial Lavender Suite in the upcoming January-April 2024 Mini Catalog. The Suite has two bundles, the Painted Lavender Bundle and the Perennial Postage bundle and it’s perfect for purple lovers! You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I stamped the sentiment from the Perennial Postage stamp set in Gorgeous Grape ink on the bottom front of a Kraft note card. I cut two panels of Stampin’ Up! Perennial Lavender designer series paper with a rectangular die from the Perennial Postage dies and adhered them to the front of the card with liquid glue.

I cut a sprig from Lost Lagoon card stock using a die from the Painted Lavender dies and adhered it to the card front with dots of liquid glue.

I adhered a butterfly cut out with glue dots and adhered some Purple Fine Shimmer gems around the sprig.

For the inside of the card, I stamped a sprig from the Painted Lavender stamp set on the side of a Basic White panel and adhered it to the inside of the card.

One of the colors in the Stampin’ Up! Perennial Lavender DSP is Crumb Cake and the papers go so well with the cute Kraft Note cards. The note cards should be restocked next week and they are so cute. They come with Kraft envelopes and a cute (and sturdy) box for storage.

Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! Here’s another sneak peek of the sweet Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine bundle that will be available on January 4, 2024 when the new Jan – Apr 2024 Mini Catalog opens! This is such a cute new bundle with a photopolymer stamp set for two step stamping and a coordinating punch. You can find the currently available supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a sketch challenge this week:

I adhered a strip of Sweet Sorbet floral Bee Mine designer series paper (available Jan 4, 2024) to panel of the DSP that is full of cute bees, flowers and hearts. I adhered the panel to a Sweet Sorbet mat and adhered the panel to the front of a Pool Party card base with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a Pool Party Strip and adhered it to a Sweet Sorbet mat and popped it on the card front with dimensionals.

I stamped the bee from the Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine stamp set in Daffodil Delight ink on Basic White and stamped the face and stripes in Memento Tuxedo Black. I stamped the antenna in Memento Tuxedo black and stamped the wings in Petal Pink. I used the light Petal Pink Stampin’ Blend to color in the rest of the wings and punched out the bee, wings and antenna. I assembled the bee with glue dots and adhered it to the card front with dimensionals. I finished the card with three Pool Party punched hearts and flowers and hearts from the new Adhesive Backed Flowers And Hearts embellishments (available Jan 4, 2024).

For the inside of the card, I stamped the honeycomb from the Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine stamp set in Daffodil delight in the corner of a Basic White panel. I stamped the stem in Lemon Lime Twist and the flower in Sweet Sorbet. I trimmed the bottom with a strip of Bee Mine DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine stamp set is wonderful with so many different stamps to make different bees, pretty sentiments and extra flower and heart stamps to compliment the bees. Here’s the bundle:

These coordinate beautifully with the pretty Bee Mine designer series paper and they will all be available in the upcoming January – April Mini Catalog on January 4, 2024.

Stampin’ Up! Stippled Roses Sneak Peek

Good Morning! Today I have a sneak peek of one of the new bundles that will be available in the upcoming January-April 2024 Mini Catalog – the Stampin’ Up! Stippled Roses bundle! Since I attended the Stampin’ Up! OnStage@home event, I was able to purchase this beautiful bundle early and it’s definitely a favorite! The artwork and sentiments are gorgeous and the dies just beautiful! You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I secured the houndstooth plaid (or bats) mask from the Abundant Beauty Masks over a Basic White panel and applied Pebbled Path ink over parts of the panel with a Blending Brush. Next, I embossed the panel with the Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a Thick Basic White card base.

I used Stampin’ Seal to adhere a strip of Natural ribbon to the card front. I cut two of the leaf cluster dies from Old Olive card stock using the Stampin’ Up! Stippled Roses dies. Look at the detail in those leaves! I adhered the leaves to the card front with glue dots.

I stamped the large floral cluster from the Stampin’ Up! Stippled Roses stamp set in Pebbled Path ink on Basic White. I used the light Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend to add some yellow highlighting in the shadowy parts of the flowers and used the light Old Olive Stampin’ Blend to add some color to the leaves. I cut the flowers out with the coordinating die and adhered them to the card front with dimensionals. I finished the card front with Lemon Lolly Faceted dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the pretty thank you sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Stippled Roses stamp set in Pebbled Path ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped part of the large flower in a corner using Pebbled Path ink and colored it like the flowers on the card front using light Daffodil Delight and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

This pretty card design was inspired by the floral card in the Birthday Card Organizer Kit. I love the partial coloring and the contrast of the elegant florals with the plaid and natural ribbon. I did the roses in yellow because I love yellow roses, but I think they could be done in any color. And this beautiful image can be colored in so many ways – or not colored and left monochromatic! Here are the stamps and dies that are included in the bundle:

The Stampin’ Up! Stippled Roses Stamp set is item #162657 ($27) and the dies are item #162666 ($33). The bundle is item #162667 ($54). These items will be available on Jan 4, 2024 when the new January – April 2024 Mini Catalog is open for ordering. And there will also be a coordinating pack of 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper that will be available as a free Sale-A-Bration item that you can choose with a $50 order during Sale-A-Bration! Sale-A-Bration will run from January 4, 2024 – February 29, 2024. I can’t wait!

Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine Sneak Peek

Good Morning! Last weekend Stampin’ Up! had the On Stage At Home event, celebrating demonsrators’ achievements, Stampin’ Up!’s 35th Anniversary and introducing the upcoming January – April 2024 Mini Catalog. And we made Valentine cards with the new Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine bundle that will be available when the new mini catalog launches on January 4, 2024. You can find the currently available products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

Stampin’ Up! demonstrators who attended the virtual event were able to purchase the Bee Mine suite early so we could participate in the craft along part. This included the Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine bundle, Bee Mine designer series paper, Sweet Sorbet bordered ribbon, and adhesive backed flowers and hearts. These are my versions of the sample cards we made and I made some changes to personalize the cards.

The first card uses the honeycomb stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine stamp set and Daffodil Delight ink to give texture to a Daffodil Delight panel. I embossed it with the dots embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a Daffodil Delight card base. I adhered two panels of Bee Mine DSP and stamped the bee in Daffodil Delight and Memento Tuxedo Black on Basic White. I punched the bee out with the Bee Builder Punch and assembled the bee with liquid glue before popping it on the DSP with dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment in Sweet Sorbet ink on Petal Pink and adhered some ribbon to the back with glue dots before adhering it to the card with dimensionals. I finished with some flower and heart embellishments.

For our second card, I adhered some Bee Mine DSP to a Basic White panel. I stamped the bee trail from the Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine stamp set in stamped off Pool Party ink on a Pool Party panel and the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black. I adhered the panel to the layered DSP panel and popped it on the card front with dimensionals. I stamped the bee in Daffodil Delight and Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Basic White. I stamped the antenna in Memento Tuxedo Black and the wings in Pool Party. I used a water painter to give the wings a quick Pool Party color wash before cutting everything out with the Bee Builder Punch. I assembled the bee with liquid glue and popped it on the card with dimensionals. I finished with the pretty hearts and flowers embellishments.

Here are the insides of the cards. I stamped the sentiments, hearts and flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine bundle in Sweet Sorbet, Petal Pink, Lemon Lime Twist and Memento Tuxedo Black on Basic White panels. I adhered the panels to the inside of the cards with Stampin’ Seal.

It was fun to play with new products and these cards are sweet and relatively easy to make. The Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine stamp set has so many different sentiments and designs, so it’s pretty versatile! Here’s the bundle with the stamp set and punch.

It was great to see and play with the new products that will be available on January 4, 2024 when the new mini catalog launches. January will be exciting with so many pretty new items! But now I need to get back to Christmas cards!
