Stampin’ Up! Fragrant Flowers Sneak Peek

Good Morning! It’s less than a week until the new Stampin’ Up! January – April 2023 Mini Catalog is open for ordering! Yay!! On the same day, Sale-A-Bration 2023 will begin! Double Yay!! And today I have a sneak peek of the Stampin’ Up! Fragrant Flowers bundle from the upcoming catalog along with the Sale-A-Bration Favored Flowers designer series paper that coordinates with the bundle. You can find the currently available supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered a strip of Petal Pink geometric Favored Flowers designer series paper to an Evening Evergreen panel with liquid glue. I adhered a panel of floral DSP next to it and wrapped it with Basic Black baker’s twine, making a bow. I adhered the layered DSP to the front of a Petal Pink card base with dimensionals.

I used my Stamparatus to stamp the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Fragrant Flowers cling stamp set in Evening Evergreen ink on a Petal Pink panel. I stamped it 4 times, but since colored card stock is not as smooth as Basic White, I still had some splotchy spots. Since I wanted a smoother look, I used my Evening Evergreen Stampin’ Write marker to dab more color on some of the lighter spots. I cut it out with the big label die from the bundle and adhered it to the card with dimensionals. I finished the card with 3 Petal Pink Elegant gems.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the small flower from the Stampin’ Up! Fragrant Flowers stamp set using Petal Pink ink on a Basic White panel and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

I love this bold sentiment and label die from the Stampin’ Up! Fragrant Flowers bundle, and it goes wonderfully with the bold floral and graphic designs in the Sale-A-Bration Favored Flowers designer series paper. Stampin’ Up! Alphabet A La Mode Hello Card

Good Morning! One of the upcoming Sale-A-Bration items is a huge pack of designer series paper called Dandy Designs. This is an item that you can choose for free with a $100 order! I chose three different warm colored patterns to use with the awesome Stampin’ Up! Alphabet A La Mode dies for a simple hello card. You can find the currently available supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered a strip of plaid Dandy Designs designer series paper to a Calypso Coral mat and adhered it to a floral panel of the DSP. I adhered these to another Calypso Coral mat and wrapped a length of Linen Thread around the panel twice and tied a loopy bow. I adhered the panel to the front of a Pale Papaya card base with dimensionals.

I cut a geometric panel of Dandy Designs DSP with the large label die from the Something Fancy dies (also available January 5) and adhered it to a matching Pale Papaya die cut. I applied adhesive sheets to the back of a Calypso Coral panel and cut out the letters from the Stampin’ Up! Alphabet A La Mode dies. I peeled off the adhesive sheets and adhered the letters to the label and adhered the label to the card with dimensionals.

I cut the small daisy flower die from the Dainty Delights dies from Calypso coral and adhered it to the card front with a glue dot. I added a Crushed Curry Glossy dot to the center of the flower to finish the card. I love the way this die cut flower reflects the flowers in the DSP!

For the inside of the card, I trimmed the bottom of a Basic White panel with a strip of the floral Dandy Designs designer series paper and adhered the panel to the inside of the card. This leaves plenty of room to write a personal message!

The adhesive sheets work really well with the letters in the Stampin’ Up! Alphabet A La Mode dies, since they are so thin and these are good sized die cut letters at just over 1-1/2″ tall! They’re perfect for customizing cards with names or making monogram note cards. There are also doubles of common letters along with numbers and punctuation. Here are my dies:

Stampin’ Up! Something Fancy Thank You Cards

Good Morning! Here’s a sneak peek of some new products from the upcoming January – April Mini Catalog. I used the Stampin’ Up! Something Fancy bundle to make some cheery Thank You cards! I paired this bundle with the new Cane Weave 3D embossing folder and the Sale-A-Bration Dandy Designs designer series paper. These new products will be available on January 5, 2023. You can find the currently available supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I wanted to focus on the pretty patterns in the Sale-A-Bration Dandy Designs designer series paper. This is an item that you can get for FREE with a $100 order during Sale-A-Bration starting January 5, 2023. It has 48 sheets of 12″ x 12″ double sided paper – 4 each of 12 designs. I only used 4 of the designs and paired them with coordinating cardstock and stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink to keep it simple.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Something Fancy cling stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on card stock. I cut it out with the hexagon die from the bundle. I used the large tag and teardrop dies from the bundle to cut a panel of Dandy Designs Sale-A-Bration DSP and adhered the hexagon label to it with dimensionals. I used the new Cane Weave 3D embossing folder to emboss another card stock panel and adhered it to the front of a Basic White note card with liquid glue. I used liquid glue to adhere the tag to the card front and finished it with a bow made with a coordinating ribbon and a glossy dot. I left the inside of the card blank – the note cards are pretty substantial so the card doesn’t look flimsy, and it leaves plenty of room for a personal note. Plus the note cards come with perfectly sized envelopes!

Here is a picture of most of the new supplies I used. I love that new cane weave embossing folder, it’s another great subtle texture background! Here’s the Stampin’ Up! Something Fancy bundle.

There are sentiments for lots of occasions and I love the casual elegance of the new script font. The coordinating label dies are also perfect – there are so many sizes and shape options that are going to be great for layering! And they will be great with other sentiments in your stash as well!

Tag cards are always fun and this one is easy to put together. But it’s also full of texture with the embossed background, dimension and embellishments. The January – April 2023 Mini Catalog and Sale-A-Bration start on January 5, 2023.

Stampin’ Up! In The Country Sneak Peek

Good Morning! The upcoming January-April 2023 Mini Catalog will be available on January 5, 2023. On the same date, Sale-A-Bration 2023 will be open. I have sneak peek of two stamp sets from the upcoming Sale-A-Bration brochure that I used on today’s card. They are the Stampin’ Up! In The Country cling stamp set and the Sending Support cling stamp set. You can find the currently available supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I used a watercolor technique today with water painters and ink pads on Shimmery White card stock to color the pretty country path in the Stampin’ Up! In The Country stamp set. I stamped the image using Black Stazon Ink on Shimmery White card stock. I colored the sky Balmy Blue and the fields in light Garden Green and dark Mint Macaron. The Trees are done in dark Mossy Meadow and dark Garden Green and the path in Crumb Cake. I used dark Soft Suede on the fence. I am not a painter, so don’t be too critical. I kept my water painter just moist enough to spread the color and quickly dry and I like the way it came out!

I cut a panel of Design A Daydream designer series paper with the 3rd largest Stitched Rectangle die and adhered it to the front of a Crumb Cake card base. I adhered a strip of natural ribbon to the card with Stampin’ Seal on top of the DSP. I cut the country path with the 5th largest Stitched Rectangle die and adhered it to a Soft Suede mat with liquid glue. I adhered the layered panel to the card front with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the upcoming Sale-A-Bration stamp set, Sending Support, in Black Stazon ink on Shimmery White. I used a water painter to apply a Crumb Cake wash over the sentiment and cut it out with the small Stitched Rectangle die. I adhered it to the card front with glue dots and dimensionals and finished it with a champagne flower trinket.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Sending Support stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink in the lower corner of a Basic White panel. I adhered a strip of Design a Daydream DSP to the side of the panel and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

This little scene reminds me of a hillside farm close to my house with a post and rail fence along the road. I imagine that 100 years ago, the paved road looked like this. I love the way the country path curves so you can’t see around the bend and the little courage sentiment was fitting for this scene. Here are the two Sale-A-Bration stamp sets with today’s card.

Here is the Stampin’ Up! In The Country stamp set. It has two pretty scenic images that are perfect for experimenting with different coloring techniques.

Here is the Sending Support stamp set. It has lots of uplifting sentiments for expressing encouragement and support for friends and loved ones.

Both of these pretty stamp sets will be available on January 5, 2023 as part of the Sale-A-Bration promotion. They will both be FREE with a $50 order before shipping and taxes. They are just a few new items to look forward to after the holidays!
