Stampin’ Up! Beautifully Happy Thank You Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Beautifully Happy photopolymer stamp set is a pretty two step floral stamp set with lovely sentiments and it’s one of the items that you can choose for free with a $100 order (before shipping and handling) during Sale-A-Bration. For today’s card, I wanted to make a garden of these pretty flowers, so I used the masking technique to stamp multiple images. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I stamped the large flower from the Stampin’ Up! Beautifully Happy stamp set on a panel of printer paper and fussy cut it with my paper snips to make a mask. I stamped the flower in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on the left side of a Basic White panel. I covered it with the mask and stamped the image again on the left side a little lower than the first image. When stamping the flowers, the stamp extends beyond the panel, and I wanted to center the flowers in a pleasing manner on the panel.

I used the filler stamps from the Stampin’ Up! Beautifully Happy stamp set to color the flowers and leaves by stamping. I used Sweet Sorbet ink for the flowers stamp and Granny Apple Green ink for the leaves stamp. I used the mask to cover the first flower each time I stamped the color on the second flower. I stamped the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black in the corner of the panel and adhered the panel to a Pale Papaya mat. I stamped the flower twice in Memento Tuxedo Black on a second panel of Basic White and stamped the detailed Flowers in Sweet Sorbet. I colored the centers with the dark Pale Papaya Stampin’ Blend and fussy cut the flowers with my paper snips. I popped the flowers on the panel with dimensionals.

I adhered a panel of Lovely Linen designer series paper to a Pale Papaya mat with liquid glue and adhered the floral panel on top with dimensionals. I adhered the layered panel to the front of a Sweet Sorbet card base with dimensionals and made a bow with the black gingham ribbon and adhered it to the card with a glue dot. I adhered a dragonfly trinket with a glue dot and finished the card with gold adhesive sequins.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the flower from the Stampin’ Up! Beautifully Happy stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the filler flower in Sweet Sorbet and the leaves in Granny Apple Green. I colored the center with the dark Pale Papaya Stampin’ Blend and adhered a strip of Lovely Linen DSP to the bottom. I adhered the panel to a Pale Papaya mat and adhered it to the inside of the card with liquid glue.

The Stampin’ Up! Beautifully Happy stamp set is perfect for using the two step stamping technique and it can also be colored with any of your favorite coloring techniques. Be sure to check out this pretty and fun Sale-A-Bration stamp set!

Stampin’ Up! Fragrant Flowers Thank You Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Fragrant Flowers bundle is a pretty floral bundle with bold sentiments. The Sale-A-Bration Favored Flowers designer series paper coordinates perfectly with the bundle and some of the designs can even be cut out with the dies. I used them both for my card today, but instead of the beautiful bold sentiments, I used the Simply Succulent stamp set and coordinating Potted Succulent dies for my sentiments. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I stamped the big floral image from the Stampin’ Up! Fragrant Flowers stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a Basic White panel. I colored the flowers with Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blends and the leaves with Old Olive Stampin’ Blends and cut it out with the coordinating die. The coloring process was a little tedious, but I love the way it came out – it coordinates beautifully with the flowers in the DSP. I just took my time coloring it one petal at a time focusing on coloring the flower’s detail lines.

I adhered a panel of geometric Favored Flowers designer series paper to a Basic Black mat and then adhered it to a floral DSP panel with liquid glue. I adhered it all to a Basic Black mat and then adhered it to the front of a Petal Pink card base with liquid glue. I cut two large and one small leaf from the Stampin’ Up! Fragrant Flowers dies from Mossy Meadow and adhered them to the card with dots of liquid glue. I popped the stamped and die cut flowers on top with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Simply Succulents cling stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black on Mossy Meadow and cut it out with the label die from the Potted Succulents dies (these label dies are so pretty!). I folded a length of Petal Pink ribbon and adhered it to the card front with glue dots and adhered the label on top with glue dots and dimensionals. I finished the card front with pastel iridescent gems.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the large flower from the Stampin’ Up! Fragrant Flowers stamp set in Petal Pink in the corners of a Basic White panel. I stamped the sentiment from the Simply Succulents stamp set (Isn’t this the best sentiment?) in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and trimmed the bottom with a strip of Favored Flowers DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Fragrant Flowers stamp set comes in both cling and photopolymer versions, so you can choose the version that you prefer (you can also get either version with the bundle). The Simply Succulents sentiments aren’t as bold as the ones in the new bundle, but I love these sentiments and they fit better on this card design without covering the pretty flowers too much. And for today I even took the time to make a decorated envelope by stamping the flower in Petal Pink and adhering a strip of DSP to the back flap. The pink and black is so pretty and so dramatic and you can choose it as a free item with a $50 order (before shipping and taxes) during Sale-A-Bration.

Stampin’ Up! Two-Tone Flora for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! The upcoming January-April Mini Catalog has so many pretty new bundles and one of my favorites is the Stampin’ Up! Two-Tone Flora bundle. It is part of the Fancy Flora Suite that is pictured on the front of the catalog. I used many products in this suite for today’s card and they will all be available on January 5, 2023 when the catalog goes live. You can find the currently available supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a sketch challenge this week and here is the pretty card sketch we are using this week:

I cut a panel of ombre Orchid Oasis Fancy Flora 6″ x 6″ designer series paper with the large background die from the Stampin’ Up Two-Tone Flora dies and adhered it to another panel of Fancy Flora DSP with dots of liquid glue. A few pieces are separated from the main panel and need to be adhered individually. I adhered the panel to the front of a Pool Party card base.

I stamped the leaf spray from the Stampin’ Up! Two-Tone Flora photopolymer stamp set in Soft Succulent ink on Basic White and cut it out with the coordinating die. I adhered it to the card front with glue dots and made a loopy bow with Starry Sky metallic ribbon and adhered it on the leaf spray.

I stamped the sentiment from the Something Fancy cling stamp set in Orchid Oasis ink on Petal Pink card stock. I cut it out with the pretty label die from the Something Fancy dies and adhered it to the card with dimensionals. I finished the card with three Calypso Coral iridescent jewels.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the leaves from the Stampin’ Up! Two-Tone Flora stamp set in Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen in the corners of a Basic White panel and trimmed the bottom with a strip of Fancy Flora 6″ x 6″ DSP. I stamped the medium flower detail stamp in Orchid Oasis and stamped the solid flower over it in stamped off Orchid Oasis. I stamped the details of the small flower in Calypso Coral and the background in Petal Pink. I cut the flowers out with the coordinating dies and adhered them to the corners of the panel. I trimmed the flowers and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Fancy Flora Suite is beautiful and I really love the Stampin’ Up! Two-Tone Flora bundle! The two-step stamping flowers are fun to make and easy to do and they come out beautiful! I love that they all have coordinating dies and the beautiful floral background die is really gorgeus!

Stampin’ Up! Sweet Songbirds for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good morning! Welcome to the November Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop! The theme for this month’s hop is “Celebrate!” and I used the cute Stampin’ Up! Sweet Songbirds bundle to share my Winter celebrations! You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I embossed a panel of Pool Party card stock with the snowflakes in the Wintry 3D embossing folder and adhered it to a panel of Storybook Gnomes designer series paper. I adhered the layered panel to a Real Red mat and adhered it all to the front of a Pool Party card base with liquid glue. I cut a Basic White panel with the Scalloped Contours die and stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Sweet Songbirds cling stamp set in the corner using Soft Suede ink. I adhered it to the card front with dimensionals.

I cut the large branch die from the Decorated with Happiness bundle from Mossy Meadow and adhered it to the card with glue dots (including the lower branch on the DSP). I punched the bird from Real Red card stock with the Songbird Builder punch in the Stampin’ Up! Sweet Songbirds bundle and stamped the eyes in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I punched a beak from Crushed Curry and a breast from Basic White and adhered them to the bird with liquid glue, along with the little wing.

I cut the small pinecones from Crumb Cake and the small detailed pinecones from Soft Suede using the Christmas Pines dies and adhered them together. I adhered the pinecones to the card with glue dots and adhered the little bird with diensionals.

I made a bow from Linen Thread and adhered it to the card front with a glue dot. I finished the card front with Pool Party Fine Sparkle gems.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the little bird from the Stampin’ Up! Sweet Songbirds stamp set in Real Red on a Basic White panel. I stamped the eyes in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored the beak with the Crushed Curry Stampin’ Write marker. I made a mask to cover the bird and stamped the small pine branch from the Decorated with Happiness stamp set in Mossy Meadow around the bird and in the upper corner. I stamped the Sentiment in Soft Suede and trimmed the bottom with a strip of Storybook Gnomes DSP before adhering the panel to the inside of the card.

I’ve wanted to use the pretty Stampin’ Up! Sweet Songbirds bundle for a winter bird card since the weather got cold. And the pine branch from the Decorated Pine dies makes the perfect perch!

Stampin’ Up! Something Fancy Thank You Cards

Good Morning! Here’s a sneak peek of some new products from the upcoming January – April Mini Catalog. I used the Stampin’ Up! Something Fancy bundle to make some cheery Thank You cards! I paired this bundle with the new Cane Weave 3D embossing folder and the Sale-A-Bration Dandy Designs designer series paper. These new products will be available on January 5, 2023. You can find the currently available supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I wanted to focus on the pretty patterns in the Sale-A-Bration Dandy Designs designer series paper. This is an item that you can get for FREE with a $100 order during Sale-A-Bration starting January 5, 2023. It has 48 sheets of 12″ x 12″ double sided paper – 4 each of 12 designs. I only used 4 of the designs and paired them with coordinating cardstock and stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink to keep it simple.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Something Fancy cling stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on card stock. I cut it out with the hexagon die from the bundle. I used the large tag and teardrop dies from the bundle to cut a panel of Dandy Designs Sale-A-Bration DSP and adhered the hexagon label to it with dimensionals. I used the new Cane Weave 3D embossing folder to emboss another card stock panel and adhered it to the front of a Basic White note card with liquid glue. I used liquid glue to adhere the tag to the card front and finished it with a bow made with a coordinating ribbon and a glossy dot. I left the inside of the card blank – the note cards are pretty substantial so the card doesn’t look flimsy, and it leaves plenty of room for a personal note. Plus the note cards come with perfectly sized envelopes!

Here is a picture of most of the new supplies I used. I love that new cane weave embossing folder, it’s another great subtle texture background! Here’s the Stampin’ Up! Something Fancy bundle.

There are sentiments for lots of occasions and I love the casual elegance of the new script font. The coordinating label dies are also perfect – there are so many sizes and shape options that are going to be great for layering! And they will be great with other sentiments in your stash as well!

Tag cards are always fun and this one is easy to put together. But it’s also full of texture with the embossed background, dimension and embellishments. The January – April 2023 Mini Catalog and Sale-A-Bration start on January 5, 2023.

The July–December 2022 Mini Catalog will be retiring soon! It’s always bittersweet to see a classic Stampin’ Up! catalog take a trip to retirement. But, we’re looking forward to all the new products on their way—and we hope you are, too!

Stampin’ Up! Splendid Thoughts Sending Hugs Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Splendid Thoughts bundle is a beautiful bundle that is retiring soon, and it has been one of my favorites from the July-December 2022 Mini Catalog. I paired it with the beautiful Texture Chic specialty designer series paper for today’s sending hugs card. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered a panel of Texture Chic specialty designer series paper to the front of an Evening Evergreen panel with liquid glue. I embossed a Pool Party panel with the Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder and adhered it to an Evening Evergreen mat. I adhered the layered embossed panel to the card front with liquid glue.

I cut the large fern die from the Forever Flourishing dies from a Soft Succulent and gold panel of Texture Chic DSP and adhered it to the card with dots of liquid glue. I cut the large leaf die from the Stampin’ Up! Splendid Thoughts bundle using Evening Evergreen card stock and adhered it to the card front with glue dots. I used the small die to cut a Sot Succulent panel and adhered it with glue dots. I left some inside pieces in some of the leaves on purpose for added texture.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Splendid Thoughts cling stamp set in Evening Evergreen on Pool Party card stock and cut it out with the bowl die. I adhered a short folded length of Pool Party ribbon (I realized this ribbon is from the upcoming mini catalog and will be available January 5, 2023) and adhered it to the back of the label with glue dots and adhered the label to the card with dimensionals. I finished the card with Pool Party Fine Sparkle gems.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the plant outline from the Stampin’ Up! Splendid Thoughts stamp set in stamped off Soft Succulent ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the solid leaf over it in stamped off Pool Party ink and trimmed the bottom with a strip of Texture chic DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

I stamped the outside of a medium Basic White envelop with the same design as the inside panel. A somber, elegant card for a friend going through a tough spot.

Stampin’ Up! Blessings of Home for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning! December birthdays are tough, so I wanted to make a birthday card with Christmas colors. So I paired the pretty Christmas themed Fitting Florets designer series paper with the beautiful floral bouquet from the Stampin’ Up! Blessings of Home bundle. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a sketch challenge this week and here is the pretty card sketch I tried to follow for today’s card:

I adhered a panel of Fitting Florets designer series paper to the front of an Evening Evergreen card base. I adhered a panel of Soft Succulent DSP on top with liquid glue. I stamped four greenery sprays from the Flowers of Home dies from Evening Evergreen and Soft Succulent and adhered them to the card front with glue dots.

I stamped the large bouquet from the Stampin’ Up! Blessings of Home cling stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a Basic White panel and cut it out with the coordinating die. I colored the flowers and leaves with Stampin’ Blends, doing some light shading with a lot of help from the stamp shading. I used Soft Succulent on the leaves, Real Red, So Saffron, Soft Suede, Fresh Freesia and Pale Papaya on the flowers. I used some light Smoky Slate to accent the shade marks on the large white flowers. I made a loopy Bow with white crinkle ribbon and cut lengthwise a length of Evening Evergreen ribbon and tied it. I adhered the ribbon to the card front with glue dots and popped the flowers on top with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Blessings of Home stamp set in Versamark ink on a strip of Evening Evergreen. I sprinkled it with white embossing powder and shook off the excess. I heated the powder with my heat tool until it was bright and shiny and cut the sentiment out with the long label die from the Sending dies. I adhered the label to the card with glue dots and finished the card front with iridescent pearls.

For the inside of the card, I stamped part of the floral bouquet in the lower right corner of a Basic White panel. I trimmed the side with a strip of Fitting Florets DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

I love how the white flowers in the bouquet pop against the Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen background. And the Real Red flowers tie into the Christmas themes while still making a pretty birthday card. I hope that this inspires you to make a handmade birthday card for your December birthdays, even though it’s such a busy time.

Stampin’ Up! Alphabest Christmas Card

Good Morning! I really want to be done with Christmas cards because it’s almost time to send them out, but I keep getting ideas. I really wanted to use the Stampin’ Up! Alphabest bundle to make a Christmas card and so I pulled this one together really quick using the beautiful Boughs of Holly designer series paper. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered a strip of mottled green Boughs of Holly designer series paper to the pretty small Poinsettia pattern paper and adhered the layered panel to a Garden Green mat. I wrapped a length of Parakeet Party metallic ribbon around the panel securing it in the back with Stampin’ Seal and adhered the panel to the front of a Real Red card base.

I stamped the little frame from the Stampin’ Up! Alphabest photopolymer stamp set several times using Garden Green ink on Basic White card stock. I stamped the letters for ‘merry‘ using Real Red ink inside the Garden Green frames and punched them out with the little Best Label punch that comes in the bundle. I did this really quickly and if you stare hard, you can see where the letters aren’t lined up absolutely perfectly. But I think it looks pretty good for being quick. If you take your time, you can stamp multiple versions and choose the best ones. The stamping goes pretty quick and it takes up so little paper – those 1″ basic white scraps are perfect for punching these letters! I lined up the letters starting from the ‘y’ and adhered them with dimensionals over the green DSP and ribbon.

I cut two of the pine sprig dies from the Christmas Banners dies from Old Olive and adhered them to the card with liquid glue. I adhered three little gold holly leaves with glue dots and cut the large flower die from the Pretty Pillow Box dies from Real Red glimmer paper. I adhered the flower with a glue dot and added a Crushed Curry glossy dot in the center.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Sweet Candy Canes cling stamp set in Real Red on a Basic White panel. I trimmed the panel with a strip of Boughs of Holly DSP and adhered it to a Garden Green mat before adhering it to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Alphabest bundle is so cute and great for customizing cards with names as well as sentiments. It’s casual and fun and can be used for any occasion. So be sure to check it out!

Stampin’ Up! Charming Sentiments Birthday Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Charming Sentiments bundle is a cute stamp and die bundle with different sentiments and dies that cut closely around the letters. I paired it with a sneak peek of pretty Sale-A-Bration designer series paper that will be available on January 5, 2023 and snuck in a little sneak peek of the pretty Dainty Delight bundle from the upcoming January – April 2023 Mini Catalog that also opens on January 5, 2023. You can find the currently available supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered a Blushing Bride panel of the Dainty Flowers Sale-A-Bration designer series paper to an Orchid Oasis card base with liquid glue. I used my Paper Snips to distress the edges of an oval wreath pattern of the Dainty Flowers DSP and adhered it on top of the Blushing Bride panel. The angled layering is a fun change up to the DSP layers.

I cut the Queen Anne’s Lace die from the Dainty Delight dies from Old Olive and cut the top again in Blushing Bride. I trimmed the flowers from the Blushing Bride die cut and adhered them to the Old Olive die cut with tiny dots of liquid glue and used a light Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ blend to accent the flower centers. I cut the bare stem from Old Olive and cut the long layered flowers from Fresh Freesia. I adhered the flowers to the stem with liquid glue dots and used my light Highland Heather Stampin’ Blend to accent the fresh Freesia Flowers. I adhered the flowers to the card front with liquid glue.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Charming Sentiments cling stamp set using Versamark ink on a Basic Black panel. I sprinkled it with White embossing powder and shook off the excess. I heated the powder with my Heat Tool until it was bright and shiny and cut it out with the coordinating die. I made a loopy bow with Sweet Sorbet metallic ribbon and adhered it to the card with a glue dot and adhered the sentiment on top with dimensionals. I love how the black and white sentiment contrasts with the pretty colorful florals in the DSP. I finished the card with small Polished Pink Opal Gems.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Charming Sentiments stamp set in Orchid Oasis ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped one of the wildflower sprays from the Dainty Delight stamp set in stamped off Blushing Bride and trimmed the bottom with a strip of Dainty Flowers Sale-A-Bration DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Charming Sentiments bundle has lots of cute sentiments for different occasions. Plus it has dies to add fun touches to celebrate these occasions! It’s perfect for the black and white cut out sentiments like I used today. This sentiment style is beautiful with any kind of background, and is especially pretty with florals like the florals in the Dainty flowers DSP. This beautiful DSP will be free with a $50 order during Sale-A-Bration which starts on January 5, 2023. Here is a picture of the pretty papers in this 12″ x 12″ pack (two sheets each of six different double sided designs):

And here is the pretty Dainty Delights bundle from the January – April 2023 Mini Catalog. It coordinates well with the Sale-A-Bration DSP and I love the smaller scale of these pretty wildflowers and gorgeous dies!

Stampin’ Up! Nuts About Squirrels Card

Good Morning! Have you seen all the squirrels out lately? They have been very busy in my neighborhood and I hope it doesn’t mean a harsh winter. But they inspired me to pull out the sweet Stampin’ Up! Nuts About Squirrels photopolymer stamp set to make a simple Fall Hello card. This is a fun two-step stamp set with the cutest squirrels that you can find in the current Annual Catalog. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered a panel of the falling leaves Celebrate Everything designer series paper to a Shaded Spruce mat with liquid glue and wrapped a length of Gray Granite baker’s twine around it three times and made a bow. I adhered the wrapped panel to the front of a Crushed Curry card base with dimennsionals.

I stamped the outline of the sweet squirrel from the Stampin’ Up! Nuts About Squirrels stamp set inn Soft Suede ink on Basic White. I stamped the filler stamp with the body and tail in Gray Granite, lining up the paws and tail. It’s nice to be able to line things up with the photopolymer stamps. I stamped the acorn top in Soft Suede and bottom in Crumb Cake. I cut the squirrel out with the second largest square from the Stylish Shapes dies and adhered it to a Shaded Spruce mat with liquid glue. I adhered the squirrel to the card front with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Nuts About Squirrels stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Granny Apple Green card stock. I cut it out with the smallest banner die from the Stylish Shapes dies and adhered it to the card with glue dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Nuts About Squirrels stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the leaf in Crushed Curry and the lines in the leaf in Memento Tuxedo Black – I love how well this leaf matches the leaves in the DSP! I trimmed the bottom with a strip of Celebrate Everything DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The squirrels in the Stampin’ Up! Nuts About Squirrels stamp set are so cute and sweet and they’re perfect for fall cards. The two-step stamping technique is pretty easy to do with this stamp set and there are so many coordinating stamps that compliment the squirrels. Have fun with this set!
