Stampinโ€™ Up! Magical Meadow for the Happy Inkinโ€™ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! I’m not ready for Winter yet, but I was inspired by this beautiful scene in the One Horse Open Sleigh designer series paper and use the Stampin’ Up! Magical Meadow bundle to make a Winter Wishes card. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a pretty sketch challenge this week:

I adhered a panel of the One Horse Open Sleigh DSP to the front of a Boho Blue card base with liquid glue and adhered a dark wood grain panel of the DSP over it.

I cut two of the twiggy sprigs from the Stampin’ Up! Magical Meadow dies from dark silver foil and adhered them to the card with glue dots. I trimmed the bottoms with paper snips. I cut an Old Olive panel with the leafy sprig die and used white Pearlized Enamel Effects to apply the berries. After it dried, I adhered it to the card with glue dots and trimmed the bottom.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Magical Meadow cling stamp set in Misty Moonlight ink on a Basic White panel. I used the pretty circle die from the Labels Aglow dies to cut it out. I folded a length of Lemon Lolly ribbon and adhered it to the back of the label before adhering the label to the card with dimensionals. I tucked the trimmed sprigs under the right side of the label and finished the card front with white iridescent sequins.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Magical Meadow stamp set in Misty Moonlight ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the leaf sprig in stamped off Old Olive in the top corner and trimmed the bottom with a strip of One Horse Open Sleigh DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

Another card featuring the beautiful images in the One Horse Open Sleigh designer series paper pack. Doesn’t it go well with the Stampin’ Up! Magical Meadow bundle?

Stampinโ€™ Up! Bag of Bones Halloween Note Cards for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good Morning! Welcome to the September Inkinโ€™ Krew Team Blog Hop! The theme for this monthโ€™s hop is “Halloween Fun” and the Stampin’ Up! Bag of Bones bundle fits the bill perfectly with all the skeletons and costumes! And I used the bundle with the fun Them Bones designer series paper and Basic White Note Cards and Envelopes to make a simple set of note cards. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post and I included the card stock cuts in the description of each card

One of the designs in the Them Bones DSP pack is a multi panel sheet with cute backgrounds that I cut up and adhered to the front of a Basic White note card. I then decorated it with the wonderful glow in the dark embellishments and designer series paper die cuts – yes the Stampin’ Up! Bag of Bones dies can be used to cut out the DSP! Here are the note cards that I made.

Here is the multiple panel sheet of Them Bones designer series paper. I started by cutting each panel out with my paper trimmer. One of the coolest things about this DSP is that the houndstooth like plaid pattern is actually little bats and they match one of the little bat stamps!

For the first card, I trimmed the ‘Boo‘ panel to 2-3/4″ x 4″ and adhered it to a Starry Sky striped 3″ x 4-1/4″ panel before adhering it to the front of the note card. I decorated it with some glow in the dark bat embellishments and stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Bag of Bones stamp set in Starry Sky ink on the inside.

For this card, I cut the fence panel in half and used the right side with the moon, trimming it to 3″ x 4-3/4″ before adhering it to the note card. I die cut a skeleton dog and cat from another panel of the DSP and adhered to the card. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Bag of Bones stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a 1-1/2″ x 1-1/2″ Pumpkin Pie panel and cut it out with the second largest banner from the Nested Essentials dies. I adhered it to the card and finished it with glow in the dark bats and ghosts. I stamped bats in Memento Tuxedo Black the top corner of the inside.

I trimmed the spotlight panel to 3″ x 4-1/2″ and adhered it to the front of a note card. I used the Stampin’ Up! Bag of Bones skeleton die to cut a DSP skeleton and adhered it to the panel. I stamped the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black on Pumpkin Pie and cut it out with the second smallest circle from the Stylish Shapes dies. I ahdered it to the card and finished with glow in the dark ghosts. I stamped bats in the top corner of the inside and found half a skeleton at the bottom of the DSP and cut it out to adhere to the bottom corner.

I fussy cut some gravestones from a pannel of Them Bones DSP and adhered it to the left side of the fence panel that I split. I should have picked up some glow in the dark paper (it’s expected to be back in stock at the beginning of October), but I didn’t. So I used the moon and stars die from the Stampin’ Up! Bag of Bones dies to cut a 1-1/2″ x 1-1/2″ panel of white Textured Shimmer paper (I remembered to put adhesive sheets behind it first). I adhered the decorated panel to a note card and finished it with glow in the dark ghosts. I stamped the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black on the inside and adhered another fussy cut gravestone to the bottom.

This was the easiest – I trimmed the ‘Trick or Treat‘ panel to 3″ x 4-1/2″, adhered it to the front of a note card and adhered some glow in the dark bats. I stamped some bats on the inside and decided to use the Mini Pocket Envelope dies to make a gift card pocked with a 4-3/4″ x 5-3/4″ DSP panel. This make quick fun gift card holder – definitely a treat!

No, this was the easiest. I trimmed the cat and gravestone panel to 3″ x 4-1/2″ and adhered it to the front of a note card. I adhered glow in the dark bats and a ghost to the front and stamped the sentiment in Pumpkin Pie on the inside. My stamp pad needs re-inking, so the color is uneven, but it goes with the ghostly Halloween theme!

See how great those glow in the dark embellishments work?

These note cards were such a fun project and would be great for quick greetings or gifts for co-workers, friends and family. This would also be a fun project to make with children!

Stampinโ€™ Up! Phrases For All Masculine Birthday Card

Good Morning and Happy Monday! Today I have a simple masculine birthday card made with the wonderful Stampin’ Up! Phrases For All photopolymer stamp set. This is a sentiment stamp set with bold fonts that are great for masculine cards. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I adhered a panel of Them Bones designer series paper to a Basic Black card base. This is the one with the pretty Fall plaid.

I stamped a panel of Pumpkin Pie Stargazing designer series paper with the background stamp from the Artistically Inked cling stamp set in Pebbled Path ink several times, covering the panel. I embossed it with the Timber 3D embossing folder and adhered it to a Basic Black mat before adhering it to the card front. withh liquid glue.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Phrases For All photopolymer stamp set in Versamark Ink on Cajun Craze and sprinkled it with Black embossing powder. I shook off the excess and heated the pwoder with my heat tool until it was shiny. I adhered it to a Basic Black mat and popped it on the card with dimensionals. I finished with three Brushed Metallic Dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Phrases For All stamp set in Cajun Craze ink on a Basic White panel. I adhered a strip of Them Bones DSP to the bottom of the panel and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

Masculine cards are a challenge, and stamp sets with strong, bold fonts like the Stampin’ Up! Phrases For All make it so much easier – just pair it with simple designer series papers and you’re set.

Stampinโ€™ Up! Timeless Charm Birthday Card

Good Morning and Happy Saturday! I hope you’re having a nice, relaxing weekend! Today I have a Fall birthday card made with the pretty Stampin’ Up! Timeless Charm bundle and the pretty new Garden Walk 6″ x 6″ designer series paper. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I used the pretty sketch in Freshly Made Sketches 602 for today’s card. Isn’t it pretty?

I embossed a Calypso Coral panel with the Distressed Tile 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a Calypso Coral card base. I adhered a striped pannel of the Garden Walk 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to the left side of a floral panel and adhered the layered DSP ton the card front with liquid glue.

I cut a panel of Distressed Gold paper with the open leaf branch die from the Stampin’ Up! Timeless Charm dies and adhered it to the card with liquid glue. I cut the large flowers and stems from Mossy Meadow and cut just the flowers from Calypso Coral. I trimmed the stems from the Calypso Coral flowers and adhered them to the Mossy Meadow stems. I adhered the flower to the card front using glue dots behind the leaves and dimensionals to pop the flowers. I made a bow with a single strand of Wild Wheat jute and adhered it with a glue dot.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Timeless Charm stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink on Wild Wheat and cut it out with the skinny long banner from the Stylish Shapes dies. I adhered it to the card front with dimensionals and finished the card with tiny gold metallic pearls.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Timeless Arrangements stamp set in Calypso Coral ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the flower from the Stampin’ Up! Timeless Charm stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink next to the sentiment and colored it with Mossy Meadow, Calypso Coral and Wild Wheat Stampin’ Blends. I adhered a strip of Garden Walk DSP to the bottomof the panel and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Garden Walk 6″ x 6″ designer series paper is so pretty and perfect for Fall florals. And the flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Timeless Charm stamp set match it pretty well, making a sweet Fall birthday card!

Stampinโ€™ Up! Autumn Leaves for the Happy Inkinโ€™ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! Here’s another simple Thank You card made with the beautiful Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves bundle and the All About Autumn 6″ x 6″ specialty designer series paper. This is a very simple and elegant Z-Fold card that focuses on a beautiful woodland morning scene in the DSP. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a theme challenge this week:

This beautiful DSP looks nice when folded, but I cut the panels so that they would flow together forming a nice wide woodland scene with the inside panel in the center. I started by cutting the bottom so that the length was 5-1/4″. Then I cut 2″ from the right side and 1-7/8″ twice. This gives me my three panels for the card and leaves little strips for my pretty scrap bin.

I adhered the right panel to the right side of the Very Vanilla panel and stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves stamp set in Copper Clay ink on the bottom of the Very Vanilla panel. I adhered the panel to the right side of a Wild Wheat Z-Fold card base with Stampin’ Seal.

I adhered the two 1-7/8″ wide All About Autumn DSP panels to the left and middle sections of the card base with liquid glue. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves stamp set in Versamark ink on a Very Vanilla panel. I sprinkled it with copper embossing powder and shook off the excess. I heated it with my heat tool until it was bright and shiny and cut it out with the label die from the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves dies.

I folded a length of copper ribbon and adhered it to the back of the label with Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the label to the front flap with dimensionals. I cut Crushed Curry and Pecan Pie panels with the leaf dies from the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves dies and adhered them to the right side, positioning them under the label.

I finished the card with Crumb Cake dots. The All About Autumn 6″ x 6″ specialty DSP is so pretty and it’s sad that it sold so quickly. Hopefully it will be re-stocked next week as scheduled.

Stampinโ€™ Up! Autumn Leaves Hello Card

Good Morning! Today is the big day – the Stampin’ Up! September-December Mini Catalog is open for ordering!! To celebrate, I made a card with the beautiful Stampin’ Up Autumn Leaves bundle and the Charming Sentiments photopolymer stamp set. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I embossed a Moody Mauve panel with the Distressed Tile embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a Moody Mauve card base. I adhered a strip of All About Autumn specialty designer series paper to the side and adhered another panel of the DSP to an Early Espresso mat. I popped the DSP on the front of the card with dimensionals.

I stamped the leaves from the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves stamp set in Moody Mauve and Pecan Pie inks on Very Vanilla and cut them out with the coordinating dies. I adhered them to the card front with glue dots. I stamped the sentiment from the Charming Sentiments in Early Espresso ink on Very Vanilla and cut it out with the label die from the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves dies.

I folded a short length of Pecan Pie ribbon and adhered it to the back of the label with glue dots. I adhered the layered label to the card front with dimensionals and used a double layer of dimensionals on the right side. I cut four of the little leaf dies from the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves dies from Oxidized Copper specialty paper and tucked three of them behind the label. I finished the card front with Moody Mauve dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Charming Sentiments stamp set in Early Espresso ink on a Very Vanilla panel. I adhered the last leaf next to the sentiment with a glue dot and trimmed the bottom with a strip of All About Autumn DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves bundle is a beautiful and versatile set. The sentiments in the stamp set are beautiful, but if you need another greeting, check your stash, because the label dies fit a lot of sentiments well, and the leaves will make beautiful Autumn cards for any occasion!

Stampinโ€™ Up! Hello Ladybug Card

Good Morning and Happy Labor Day! I hope you’re having a wonderful, fun weekend to wind down Summer, although our weather certainly doesn’t feel like Fall. I was inspired by the pretty Masterfully Made designer series paper to make a card with torn edges, layering and texture, and I wanted to use the sweet Stampin’ Up! Hello Ladybug photopolymer stamp set and coordinating Ladybug Builder punch before Summer is gone. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I adhered a panel of Delightfully Eclectic designer series paper to the front of a Petal Pink card base with liquid glue. I adhered a strip of Crushed Curry dots from the same DSP pack on top with liquid glue. I embossed an Old Olive panel with the Timber 3D embossing folder and a striped panel of Delightfully Eclectic DSP with the Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder. I tore the left edge of each, adhered them together and wrapped it with white baker’s twine, making a bow. I adhered it to the card front with dimensionals.

I stamped leaf from the Stampin’ Up! Hello Ladybug stamp set in Pretty Peacock ink on Basic White and fussy cut it with my paper snips. I adhered it to the card front with glue dots and dimensionals. I stamped the ladybug body in Memento Tuxedo Black and the wings in Poppy Parade and Memento Tuxedo Black on Basic White. I punched them out with the Ladybug Builder punch and adhered them together with glue dots. I popped them on the card with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Hello Ladybug stamp set in Pretty Peacock ink on Petal Pink and cut it out with the small banner from the Nested Essentials dies. I adhered it to the card front with dimensionals and finished the card by adhering yellow dots to the leaf with glue dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Hello Ladybug stamp set in Daffodil Delight ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the sentiment in Pretty Peacock and adhered a strip of Delighhtfully Eclectic DSP to the bottom. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The ladybug from the Stampin’ Up! Hello Ladybug stamp set is simple and cute. I hope you like how the torn edges came out and give it a try. And I really like how the different bold graphic designs in the Delightfully Eclectic designer series paper go together so well – it’s a pretty versatile paper pack.

Stampinโ€™ Up! Joy of Noel Sneak Peek

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Joy of Noel bundle has beautiful holiday greenery and sentiments and I used it with the beautiful Joy of Christmas designer series paper for a Christmas card sneak peek. These products are from the new September – December Mini catalog which will open for orders on Wednesday! Yay!! You can find the currently available products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I embossed a Shaded Spruce panel with the star embossing folder from the Basics 3D embossing folders and adhered it to the front of a Shaded Spruce card base with liquid glue. I adhered a musical panel of Joy of Christmas DSP to a Real Red mat and adhered the panel to the card front with liquid glue.

I stamped the large greenery image from the Stampin’ Up! Joy of Noel photopolymer stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a Basic White panel. I colored the Berries in Real Red Stampin’ Blends and the leaves in Granny Apple Green and Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends. I used the Lost Lagoon blend to trace over the pine needles to add some color there and cut the image out with the coordinating die. I popped the die cut onto the card front with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Joy of Noel stamp set in Versamark ink on Real Red and sprinkled it with white embossing powder. I shook off the excess and heated the powder with my heat tool until it was bright and shiny. I cut the label out with the long plain die from the Christmas Classics dies and looped some thin gold ribbon around the back, adhering it with glue dots. I adhered the label to the card front with dimensionals and glue dots and finished the card with gold pearls.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Christmas Classics stamp set in Real Red ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the greenery from the Stampin’ Up! Joy of Noel stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink in the corner and colored them with Real Red and Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

Isn’t the greenery from the Stampin’ Up! Joy of Noel stamp set pretty? It’s so easy to color with blends, but would look great in watercolor too. And I love the sentiments and can’t wait to use the large NOEL stamp! Here’s a picture of the bundle:

And here is the Christmas Classics bundle – they go so well together!

And here is the beautiful Joy of Christmas designer series paper with it’s classic Christmas Colors and patterns.

Remember that all of these new products will be available when the new Mini Catalog goes live for ordering on September 6, 2023.
