Stampin’ Up! Gathering Moments Thankful For You Card

Good Morning! Today’s card features the Stampin’ Up! Gathering Moments stamp set used with the pretty Splendid Autumn and Timeless Plaid 6″ x 6″ designer series papers and the Perennial Postage and Label Me Grateful Dies. You can find the card stock cuts along with the supplies at the bottom of my post.

Adhere a a panel of Timeless Plaid 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to the front of a Cajun Craze card base. Use the second largest Perennial Postage die to cut a Pecan Pie panel and adhere a panel of Splendid Autumn designer series paper to the front. Adhere the panel to the card with dimensionals.

Use the dies from the Label Me Grateful dies to cut Old Olive, Pecan Pie and Crushed Curry card stock. Fold a length of the fun Irregular Weave ribbon and adhere it to the card with glue dots. Adhere the die cut leaves and acorns to the card with glue dots on top of the ribbon.

Stamp the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Gathering Moments stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Cajun Craze and cut it out with the Perennial Postage die. Pop the label on the card using dimensionals.

For the inside panel, trim the bottom of a Basic White panel with DSP. Cut another Crushed Curry leaf cluster from Crushed Curry and adhere it to the panel. Adhere the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

Falling leaves with plaids are perfect for Fall and it’s great to be able to combine designer series papers, stamps and dies from different sets to make cards! Give it a try.

Thanks so much for stopping by and Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Thankful Garden Fall Card

Good Morning! Hope you had a wonderful weekend! Here is a gate fold card made with the pretty Stampin’ Up! Thankful Garden bundle that came out earlier this year. The thing is, my hydrangeas are Lil’ Limelight, which means that they have greenish white flowers that turn a beautiful bronze in the fall (the ones the deer don’t eat, that is). And they’re at the peak of their color right now, so I wanted to make a card using this pretty bundle to capture these Fall hydrangeas. You can find the card stock cuts along with supplies at the bottom of my post.

After scoring and burnishing the card base for the center gate fold card, adhere panels of Timeless Plaid 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to the front flaps. Use the third largest die from the Everyday Arches dies to cut Old Olive and the next smallest to cut Basic Beige. Emboss the Basic Beige arch with the Birch Wood 3D embossing folder and adhere it to the Old Olive arch. Adhere the layered arches to the left side of the card base.

Stamp the large hydrangea flower from the Stampin’ Up! Thankful Garden stamp set using Gray Granite ink and color it using the masks and blending brushes (masks are included in the bundle or can be purchased separately). Color the hydrangea first using Soft Sea Foam for mask #1 and #2 (the color will be darker with the second mask). For mask #3, start with Calypso Coral and add a little Cajun Craze at the end. Use Old Olive to color the leaves with masks #4 and #5. Cut the hydrangea out with the large coordinating die.

Cut two large leaf clusters using the Stampin’ Up! Thankful Garden dies from Old Olive card stock and adhere them to the card with glue dots. Pop the flower on top with dimensionals and decorate the centers with antique pearls. Finish with a Basic Beige bow.

For the inside panel, trim the bottom of a Basic White panel with DSP. Find the section of the hydrangea from the Stampin’ Up! Thankful Garden stamp set that goes with the small flower die and stamp it using Gray Granite ink on Basic White. Color with blending brushes like the large flower on the front and cut it out with the small hydrangea die. Adhere it to the panel and adhere the panel to the inside of the card.

I was happy with how the hydrangea came out using the masks for coloring. My first attempt using Stampin’ Blends didn’t work out nearly as well 😞. I didn’t put any sentiments on the front or inside of this card, but you can use it for a Fall birthday or for any other occasion. I love plaids in the Fall and so many of the Timeless Plaid designs would be great for a Fall card, so don’t forget those items hiding in your stash! Enjoy!

And don’t forget that tomorrow is the Big Day for the new Stampin’ Up! 2025 September-December Mini Catalog to open and a new release of Online Exclusive products!

Thanks so much for stopping by and Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Grow With Love for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! The Stampin’ Up! Grow with Love bundle is a fun herb and seed themed set with beautiful stamped images and fun seed envelope dies. But I just used the beautiful herb stamps and pretty sentiment for today’s card. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a pretty sketch challenge this week and I took some liberties by resizing the sketch and mounting it on a DSP background:

I adhered a panel of Timeless Plaid 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to the front of a Lost Lagoon card base with liquid glue.

I stamped the herbs from the Stampin’ Up! Grow With Love stamp set on Basic Beige. Before the final stamping, I practiced several times on printer paper to arrange the herbs and select the right color combinations until I came up with the right mix of colors and herb placement. For my final run, I stamped the mint in Grammy Apple Green in the middle of the panel. Next, I inked up the basil using Garden Green ink and applied Blackberry Bliss to the buds with sponge daubers before stamping it next to the mint. Then I stamped the rosemary using Shaded Spruce ink and finished with thyme in Lost lagoon on either side. I filled in the bottom and sides with the top of the mint stamp in full strength and stamped off Granny Apple Green. I adhered the stamped panel to a Shaded Spruce mat and adhered it to the card with liquid glue.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Grow With Love stamp set using Shaded Spruce ink on Lost Lagoon and cut it out with the small label die. I used Garden Green linen thread to make a bow and adhered it to the back with a glue dot before adhering the label to the card with dimensionals. I finished with the cute mini bee trinkets adhered with glue dots.

For the inside of the card, I kept it simple, trimming the side of a Basic White panel with DSP and adhering the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The herb stamps in the Stampin’ Up! Grow with Love stamp set are so detailed and realistic, and they look beautiful no matter what color you use. I had fun playing with all the different shades of green as I was working on my arrangement.

Stampin’ Up! Storybook Garden Patch for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good Morning! Welcome to the March Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop! The theme for this month’s hop is “Celebrate Spring” and I used the Stampin’ Up! Storybook Garden Patch bundle to make a Happy Spring card. The fun garden tools and veggies make me excited to clean up my garden and plant new things in the dirt! You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

I adhered a panel of Timeless Plaid 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to the front of a Lost Lagoon card base with liquid glue.

I stamped the veggies and tools from the Stampin’ Up! Storybook Garden Patch stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Basic Beige. In order to get the veggies and tools lined up, I arranged most of them (everything but the carrot) on a single large block and stamped on typing paper make sure I had the arrangement just right (I test stamped several times) and filled in with the carrot afterward. Then I colored each with Stampin’ Blends. Here are the colors I used:

  • Radish – light Pretty Peacock and light Real Red
  • Lettuce – dark Soft Sea Foam
  • Pitchfork – light Crumb Cake and light Pecan Pie
  • Carrot – light Granny Apple Green and light Pumpkin Pie
  • Clay Pots – light Calypso Coral
  • Watering Can – light Smoky Slate
  • Peas – light Old Olive

I adhered the stamped panel to a Pecan Pie mat and popped it on the card front with dimensionals.

I stamped the pretty sentiment from the Storybook Friends stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Lost Lagoon and cut it out with a banner die from the Stylish Shapes dies. I made a Linen Thread bow and adhered it to the back of the label before popping the label on the card with dimensionals. I finished the card with Basic Beige shimmer gems..

For the inside of the card, I stamped the basket and shovel from the Stampin’ Up! Storybook Garden Patch stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Basic Beige. I colored them with the light Crumb Cake, light Pecan Pie and light Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends and cut them out with the coordinating die. I trimmed the bottom of a Basic White panel with DSP and adnered the die cuts with liquid glue. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

I was inspired by a card in the current Mini Catalog for the layout of this card because I just love all these cute garden images from the Stampin’ Up! Storybook Garden Patch bundle. And I think the weather is warming up enough to begin Spring garden clean up – Let the planting begin!

Stampin’ Up! Grow With Love Thank You Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Grow With Love bundle is a wonderful set with pretty herb stamps and dies and a fun mini envelope die. I used it to make a basil thank you card and a mini note card with a coordinating envelope. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

For my thank you card, I adhered a panel of Timeless Plaid 6″ x 6″ DSP to a Mossy Meadow mat and adhered it to the front of a Lost Lagoon card base. I stamped the frame and basil from the Stampin’ Up! Grow With Love stamp set using Pecan Pie ink on Basic White and cut it out with the rectangle die. I stamped the basil again using Mossy Meadow ink on Basic White and cut it out with the basil die and popped it over the Pecan Pie basil with dimensionals. I adhered the panel to the card with liquid glue.

I stamped part of the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Grow With Love stamp set using Mossy Meadow ink on Basic White. I cut it out with the small label die and adhered a Linen Thread bow to the back before adhering it to the card with dimensionals. I finished the card with textured metallic dots.

I used the envelope die from the Stampin’ Up! Grow With Love dies to cut a panel of Timeless Plaid DSP and burnished the score lines. I adhered the envelope together with liquid glue. I adhered a short length of linen thread to the envelope flap with a glue dot and cut the envelope clasps from Lost Lagoon. I adhered the large circles to the envelope with mini dimensionals, topped them with dots and looped the Linen Thread to secure it. I stamped the basil and frame again using Pecan Pie ink on Basic White and cut it out with the rectangle die. I adhered it to the front of a mini card made with the Timeless Plaid DSP.

For the inside panel of the main card, I trimmed the bottom of a Basic White panel with DSP. I stamped another basil from the Stampin’ Up! Grow With Love stamp set using Mossy Meadow ink on Basic White and cut it out with the coordinating die. I adhered it to the inside panel and trimmed the side before adhering the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

For the inside of the mini card, I simply stamped the frame from the Stampin’ Up! Grow With Love stamp set using Pecan Pie ink and cut it out with the coordinating die. I adhered it to the inside of the mini card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Grow With Love is one of the new Online Exclusives bundles that came out at the beginning of the month. The herb stamp images are just gorgeous with intricate details and shading and it was hard to choose which herb to use. The little envelope is pretty easy to put together and it’s so cute! It’s supposed to be for seeds, but it fits a gift card and is perfect for a little note card or tag to accompany a gift.

Stampin’ Up! Hugs For Love Valentine’s Day Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Hugs For Love bundle is a fun Valentine’s Day stamp set with the new To The Point punch. The stamp set has pretty hearts, wonderful sentiments and heart themed frames that coordinate with the punch. I used it with the new Timeless Plaid 6″ x 6″ designer series paper for today’s Valentine’s Day card. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I adhered a panel of Timeless Plaid 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to the front of a Boho Blue card base with liquid glue. I stamped the hearts from the Stampin’ Up! Hugs For Love stamp set using Calypso Coral and Boho Blue ink on Basic White. I used stamped off ink for the large Calypso Coral and striped Boho Blue hearts and full strength Calypso Coral for the tiny clusters. I adhered the panel to a Boho Blue mat and wrapped it with Flirty Flamingo baker’s twine and made a bow. I adhered it to the card with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Hugs for Love stamp set using Calypso Coral ink on Basic White and cut it out with the Stylish Shapes banner die. I stamped the frame using Versamark ink on Boho Blue and sprinkled it with white embossing powder. I shook off the excess powder and heat set the design before punching it out with the To The Point punch.

I popped out the little flowers from the Celebrate Love mix & match ephemera pack and colored them with the light Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blend. I adhered them to the punched out label with liquid glue and adhered the die cut sentiment on top with dimensionals. I popped the label on the card with dimensionals and finished with Flirty Flamingo dots.

For the inside panel, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Hugs For Love stamp set using Calypso Coral ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the hearts next to the sentiment like the front panel and trimmed the bottom with DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Hugs For Love bundle is great for Valentine’s Day cards and the sentiments are perfect for any cards sending love. I was surprised at how well the stamped off Calypso Coral went with the Flirty Flamingo baker’s twine and dots. And if you had asked me about an orange and blue Valentine’s Day card, I would not have recommended it, but I think this works. I hope you think so too.
