Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight Birthday Card

Good Morning! One of my favorites from the last Winter Mini Catalog was the Stampin’ Up Dainty Delight bundle. Happily, the stamp set and dies carried over into the Annual Catalog, so they are still available and I pulled them out to make a floral Birthday Card for today. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I cut a panel of leafy vellum with the second largest Deckled Rectangles die and adhered it to the front of a Boho Blue card base. I adhered a panel of Boho Blue Fresh As A Daisy designer series paper to a Pebbled Path mat and built my flower bouquet on it.

I cut a three each of the small daisies from the Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight dies from the white Textured Specialty paper. I cut three each of the stems and leaf pairs from Mossy Meadow and cut two sets of flower centers from Daffodil Delight. I adhered the stems to the DSP panel with liquid glue and adhered the flower centers to the petals. I popped the flowers on with dimensionals and tucked the leaves under the flowers, adhering them with liquid glue.

I adhered the decorated DSP panel to the card front with dimensionals. I made a Linen Thread bow and adhered it to the card with a glue dot. I stamped the sentiment from the Go To Greetings stamp set in Pebbled Path on a Basic White strip and punched the ends with the Banners Pick A Punch. I popped it on the card with dimensionals and finished the card front with brass butterflies.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Charming Sentiments stamp set in Boho Blue ink on Basic White. I stamped the flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight stamp set in stamped off Pebbled Path around the edge of the panel and colored them with light Moody Mauve, light Mossy Meadow and light Cajun Craze Stampin’ Blends. I adhered the panel to a Pebbled Path mat and adhered it to the inside of the card.

The flowers from the Stampin’ Up Dainty Delight stamp set and dies are really small and sweet. They are so pretty when die cut from specialty paper because of the extra sparkle. And who wouldn’t love to receive a birthday card with a daisy bouquet and butterflies at this time of year?

Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! The Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight cling stamp set and dies are a wonderful floral set that carried over from the last mini catalog. The sweet stamped flowers are so petite and there are dies that cut them out. I paired the flowers with the Charming Sentiments photopolymer stamp set and Sentiment Silhouettes dies for a Congratulations card. You can find the currently available supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a color challenge for our Blog Hop this week, and it’s to use the new 2023-2025 In Colors! Yay!!

I embossed a Basic White panel with the Cane Weave 3D embossing folder and adhered it to a Moody Mauve mat. I popped the layered panel on the front of a Thick Basic White card base. I stamped the two flower bunches from the Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight stamp set on a Basic White panel using Pebbled Path ink. I cut the flowers out with the coordinating dies.

I used a small water painter to color the flowers using Boho Blue, Moody Mauve, Copper Clay, Wild Wheat and Granny Apple Green inks. The images are small so it works out fine to color on the Basic White card stock, but I did keep the water painter more on the dry side and didn’t let the water puddle on the paper. I also kept a paper towel handy to dry the brush and to flush and clean the tip between colors. After coloring, I adhered the flowers to the card with glue dots.

I stamped the sentiment from the Charming Sentiments in Versamark ink on a Pebbled Path panel and sprinkled it with white embossing powder. I shook off the excess and heated the powder with my heat tool. I cut out the sentiment with the coordinating die and adhered it to the card with glue dots. I colored a length of Linen Thread with the dark Moody Mauve Stampin’ Blend and made a bow. I adhered the bow to the card with a glue dot and finished the card with Brushed Butterfly gems.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the large flower bunch from the Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight stamp set in Pebbled Path ink on the side of a Basic White panel. I used the small water painter to color the flowers the same as the card front. I stamped the sentiment from the Charming Sentiments stamp set in Pebbled Path ink on the center of the panel and adhered it to a Moody Mauve mat before adhering it to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

It’s Graduation time, so I was thinking of a sweet congratulations card for a young woman graduating with a bright future when I made this card. I love the look that the new In Colors give to the sweet flowers with the water color technique!

Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight Card with Video Tutorial

Good Morning! Have you seen all the beautiful floral stamp sets in the new January – April Mini Catalog? One of my favorites is the Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight bundle and it’s because it’s not only pretty, but so versatile. For today’s card, which I made during my Facebook Live yesterday afternoon, I stamped and colored one of the pretty images and embossed it for texture and I did not use a single one of the beautiful dies! You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

You can watch my FB Live video on my Facebook page HERE. I also posted the video to my YouTube Channel and you can view it HERE.

I adhered a panel of Fancy Flora 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to the front of a So Saffron card base with liquid glue. I stamped the pretty flower branch from the Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight cling stamp set three times in Evening Evergreen ink on a Basic white panel and colored it with light Calypso Coral, light Daffodil Delight and light Soft Succulent Stampin’ Blends.

I embossed the stamped panel with the Painted Posies 3D embossing folder and adhered it to a Crumb Cake mat with liquid glue. I adhered the layered panel to the card front with liquid glue.

I wrapped the card front twice with Linen Thread and made a loopy bow. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight stamp set on a Crumb Cake panel in Evening Evergreen ink. I trimmed the end and adhered the label to the card front with dimensionals. I finished the card front with three brushed gold butterflies.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the flower branch from the Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight stamp set in Evening Evergreen ink on the side of a Basic White panel. I colored the flowers with the same Stampin’ Blends as the flowers on the front and trimmed the bottom with a strip of Fancy Flora 6″ x 6″ DSP before adhering the panel to the inside of the card.

The stamped flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight stamp set are so delicate and look so pretty when stamped and colored. These yellow flowers remind me of a country stroll on a sunny Summer day – hopefully those days are not too far away!

Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! Here’s a card made with the beautiful Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight bundle and the pretty Country Floral Lane designer series paper. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a color challenge in the Blog Hop and here is the color palette we are using this week:

I adhered a panel of Country Floral Lane designer series paper to a Basic White mat. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight cling stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink on a Basic White panel and cut it out with the third largest circle die from the Stylish Shapes dies.

I cut the Mossy Meadow panel with the large leaf vine die from the Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight dies. I cut a Sweet Sorbet panel with the 4-flower die and cut a stem and two small leaf pairs from Mint Macaron. I adhered the flowers and leaves to the stem with glue dots and adhered them to the vine with glue dots. I cut two of the Queen Anne’s Lace type flowers from Mint Macaron, trimmed the stems and tucked them in the vine adhering them with glue dots. I cut three daisy like flowers from Petal Pink and adhered Crushed Curry flower centers to them before adhering them with glue dots.

I made a bow with Balmy Blue and White ribbon and adhered it with a glue dot. I finished the label with In Color Opal rounds and adhered the panel to the front of a Balmy Blue card base with dimensionals.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the the large bouquet from the Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink on the side of a Basic White panel. I colored the flowers with Petal Pink, Sweet Sorbet and Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blends and trimmed the bottom with a strip of Country Floral Lane DSP before adhering it to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight bundle has beautiful die cut and stamped wild flowers on a smaller scale. The die cut flowers have beautiful debossed details and the stamped flowers have coordinating dies so you have the option of cutting them out. And the sentiments are beautiful too!

Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight Thank You Card

Good Morning! Today I have another sneak peek of the pretty Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight bundle from the upcoming January-April 2023 Mini Catalog that will be available tomorrow. I also used Sale-A-Bration Dainty Flowers designer series paper that will also be available tomorrow when Sale-A-Bration starts! I made a Thank You card and you can find the currently available supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I embossed a panel of Dainty Flowers designer series paper with the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder and adhered it to the front of an Orchid Oasis card base with liquid glue. I adhered a floral strip of Dainty Flowers DSP to a Mossy Meadow mat and adhered it to the card front with liquid glue.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight cling stamp set using Orchid Oasis ink on an Orchid Oasis panel and cut it out with the large label die from the Fragrant Flowers dies (also available Jan 5). I adhered it to the card front with glue dots.

I used my Old Olive watercolor pencil to color an area of a Basic White panel and cut a pair of leaves and stem from the Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight dies. I colored another area with Gorgeous Grape and Rich Razzleberry watercolor pencils and cut it with the fluffy flower top die. I adhered the flower top and leaves to the stem with glue dots and adhered it to the label with glue dots. I finished the card front with 2022-2024 In Color dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped one of the small flower clusters from the Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped another flower in Mossy Meadow next to the first and at the top corner. I colored the flowers with watercolor pencils – Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze, Early Espresso, Gorgeous Grape and Rick Razzleberry. I embossed a strip of Dainty Flowers DSP with the Painted Texture 3D Embossing folder and adhered it to the bottom and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

It’s always fun to use a new coloring technique. I was happy to pull out my watercolor pencils for today’s card and I’m happy with the results. The subtle shading differences work well with the images in the DSP.

Here’s a picture of the pretty Dainty Delight bundle:

Here are the pretty papers in the Dainty Flowers Sale-A-Bration designer series paper pack:

All these pretty items will be available tomorrow when the new January – April Mini Catalog is open for orders and Sale-A-Bration begins!
