Stampin’ Up! Countryside Corners Birthday Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! I pulled out the beautiful Countryside Inn designer series paper and used it with the Stampin’ Up! Countryside Corners, Lasting Joy and Petal Park stamp sets and bundles to make a sweet birthday card in pretty shades of blue. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a sketch challenge for our Blog Hop this week:

I adhered a strip of the pretty Countryside Inn designer series paper to a Boho Blue mat with liquid glue and adhered it to another panel of Countryside Inn DSP. I adhered the layered panel to the front of a Boho Blue card base. I stamped the large image from the Stampin’ Up! Countryside Corners cling stamp set in Night of Navy ink on a Boho Blue panel and cut it out with the third largest die.

I stamped the image from the Stampin’ Up! Countryside Corners stamp using Versamark ink on Night of Navy card stock. I sprinkled it with white embossing powder and shook off the excess. I heated the powder with my heat tool until it was bright and shiny and cut a frame using the third and fourth largest dies. I adhered the frame around the Boho Blue image with liquid glue and adhered it to the card front. I stamped the sentiment from the Lasting Joy stamp set in Night of Navy on Basic White and cut it out with the second smallest die from the Stampin’ Up! Countryside Corners dies. I adhered the label to the card with dimensionals.

I stamped the detailed flowers trio from the Petal Park photopolymer stamp set in Night of Navy ink on Basic White. I stamped the filler using stamped off Boho Blue ink and punched the flowers out with the Petal Park punch. I adhered the flowers to the card with glue dots and dimensionals. I stamped five of the detailed leaves using Night of Navy ink on Balmy Blue and punched them out with the Petal Park punch and adhered them to the card using glue dots. I adhered rhinestones to the flower centers and a Night of Navy Bow to finish the card.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Charming Sentiments stamp set in Night of Navy ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the Petal Park Detailed Flowers in Boho Blue ink and the filler in stamped off Boho Blue ink. I stamped the leaves inn Balmy Blue and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The octagon dies from the Stampin’ Up! Countryside Corners bundle are a perfect backdrop for floral arrangements and the Petal Park flowers are pretty with the Countryside Inn DSP. The DSP is so sweet, it will go well with lots of different stamped or die cut flowers.

Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Balloons for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! Here’s another card using the pretty Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Balloons bundle. I used the large balloon with the Charming Sentiments stamp set and Bright and Beautiful designer series paper for a Bubble Bath and Fresh Freesia card. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a sketch challenge for our Blog Hop this week, and here’s the pretty sketch we’re using:

I adhered a striped panel of Bright and Beautiful designer series paper to the front of a Bubble Bath card base. I adhered another panel with little dots to a Fresh Freesia mat and adhered it to the card base with liquid glue.

I stamped the speckles for the large balloon from the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Balloons photopolymer stamp set in Fresh Freesia ink on Basic White. I stamped the large solid balloon in Bubble Bath over the speckles and cut the balloon with the coordinating die. I cut a tassel from Fresh Freesia card stock and colored a length of white Baker’s Twine with a dark Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Blend. I adhered the twine and tassel to the card with glue dots and popped the balloon on with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Charming Sentiments stamp set in Fresh Freesia ink on Basic White and cut it out with the coordinating die. I adhered the sentiment to the card front with dimensionals and finished the card with pink iridescent sequins.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Charming Sentiments stamp set in Fresh Freesia ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the medium balloons from the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Balloons stamp set in Bubble Bath ink and stamped the strings in Smoky Slate. I trimmed the bottom with a strip of Bright and Beautiful DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

Bubble Bath and Fresh Freesia are so pretty together! The colors are so soft and I love how they layered to make the large balloon from the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Balloons bundle.

Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! The Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight cling stamp set and dies are a wonderful floral set that carried over from the last mini catalog. The sweet stamped flowers are so petite and there are dies that cut them out. I paired the flowers with the Charming Sentiments photopolymer stamp set and Sentiment Silhouettes dies for a Congratulations card. You can find the currently available supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a color challenge for our Blog Hop this week, and it’s to use the new 2023-2025 In Colors! Yay!!

I embossed a Basic White panel with the Cane Weave 3D embossing folder and adhered it to a Moody Mauve mat. I popped the layered panel on the front of a Thick Basic White card base. I stamped the two flower bunches from the Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight stamp set on a Basic White panel using Pebbled Path ink. I cut the flowers out with the coordinating dies.

I used a small water painter to color the flowers using Boho Blue, Moody Mauve, Copper Clay, Wild Wheat and Granny Apple Green inks. The images are small so it works out fine to color on the Basic White card stock, but I did keep the water painter more on the dry side and didn’t let the water puddle on the paper. I also kept a paper towel handy to dry the brush and to flush and clean the tip between colors. After coloring, I adhered the flowers to the card with glue dots.

I stamped the sentiment from the Charming Sentiments in Versamark ink on a Pebbled Path panel and sprinkled it with white embossing powder. I shook off the excess and heated the powder with my heat tool. I cut out the sentiment with the coordinating die and adhered it to the card with glue dots. I colored a length of Linen Thread with the dark Moody Mauve Stampin’ Blend and made a bow. I adhered the bow to the card with a glue dot and finished the card with Brushed Butterfly gems.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the large flower bunch from the Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight stamp set in Pebbled Path ink on the side of a Basic White panel. I used the small water painter to color the flowers the same as the card front. I stamped the sentiment from the Charming Sentiments stamp set in Pebbled Path ink on the center of the panel and adhered it to a Moody Mauve mat before adhering it to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

It’s Graduation time, so I was thinking of a sweet congratulations card for a young woman graduating with a bright future when I made this card. I love the look that the new In Colors give to the sweet flowers with the water color technique!

Stampin’ Up! Hello Harvest What’s New Card

Good Morning! I finally pulled out the Stampin’ Up! Hello Harvest bundle for a pumpkin card and I paired it with the gorgeous Rustic Harvest Designer series paper. I also used the pretty Charming Sentiments bundle for a fun take on my sentiment for today. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered a panel of the Rustic Harvest designer series paper to the front of a Basic Black card base with liquid glue. I adhered another panel of the DSP to a Basic Black mat and adhered it to the card front with liquid glue. I stamped the leaves from the Stampin’ Up! Hello Harvest cling stamp set in Old Olive and Crumb Cake on Basic White card stock. I stamped two of each color and cut them out with the coordinating die and adhered them to the card front with glue dots.

I stamped the pumpkin from the Stampin’ Up! Hello Harvest stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Basic White. I colored the pumpkin with Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive Stampin Blends and cut it out with the coordinating die. I adhered it to the card with dimensionals. I cut the pumpkin vines from Mossy Meadow and adhered them to the pumpkin with dots of liquid glue. I stamped the sentiment from the Charming Sentiments cling stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black on Pumpkin Pie and cut it out with the coordinating die. I popped it on the pumpkin with dimensionals.

I stamped three little flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Hello Harvest stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black on Basic White and colored them with Soft Suede and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends. I cut them out with the coordinating die and adhered them with glue dots and dimensionals. I used the dies from the Tree Rings Hybrid Embossing folder to cut the acorn – the cap from Early Espresso and the bottom from Soft Suede. I adhered the acorn to the card with glue dots and finished with a black baker’s twine bow.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the flower from the Stampin’ Up! Hello Harvest stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black on Basic white and colored it with Daffodil Delight and Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends. I stamped the sentiment from the Charming Sentiments stamp set in Memento Tuxedo black. I trimmed the bottom with a strip of the Rustic Harvest DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Hello Harvest bundle is a wonderful fall set and the Rustic Harvest DSP is just beautiful! With Summer in full swing, it’s nice to start looking forward to the to the cooler fall temperatures and pumpkins!
