Stampin’ Up! Stippled Roses Thank You Card

Good Morning! Here’s another sneak peek of the pretty Stampin’ Up! Stippled Roses bundle, but instead of using the pretty stamped roses images, I used the die cuts and combined them with the retiring Garden Walk 6″ x 6″ designer series paper. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I adhered a strip of Garden Walk designer series paper to the side of a floral panel and adhered the layered DSP to a Pretty Peacock mat. I adhered the panel to the front of a Poppy Parade card base with dimensionals.

I used the largest rectangle from the Nested Essentials dies to cut a Pretty Peacock panel. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Stippled Roses cling stamp set in Pretty Peacock ink on a Basic White panel and cut it out with the second largest rectangle die from the Nested Essentials dies. I adhered the die cuts together with liquid glue.

I cut a Wild Wheat panel with the long leaf cluster die from the Stampin’ Up! Stippled Roses dies twice and cut the flowers twice from a Poppy Parade panel. I adhered the leaves to the card with glue dots and adhered the flowers on top. I added small white dots for the flower centers and iridescent gemstones around the flower cluster to finish the card.

For the inside of the card, I adhered a strip of DSP to the bottom of a Basic White panel and adhered the flowers and leaves to the top corner. I trimmed the flowers and leaves and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The die cuts give a different, more casual look to the Stampin’ Up! Stippled Roses bundle and it goes well with lots of different papers. The bundle will be available on Jan 4, 2024 when the new Jan-Apr 2024 Mini Catalog goes live. Here’s a picture of the bundle. Aren’t the sentiments beautiful?

Stampin’ Up! Forever Forest with Medley Mix Winter Hello Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Forever Forest bundle is a sweet Tree themed set with stamps and dies for an evergreen forest. And it’s on the carry over list, so it will continue to be available after the catalog retires – Yay! I used the dies with some snowy A Walk in the Forest designer series paper and the pretty sentiment from the Medley Mix stamp set to make a simple winter theme Hello card. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I adhered a panel of A Walk in the Forest designer series paper to the front of a Balmy Blue card base with liquid glue. I adhered a strip of white ribbon to the card with Stampin’ Seal and cut two Deckled Circles – one from Balmy Blue and one from Basic White. I embossed the Basic White circle with the Snowflake Sky 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the Balmy Blue circle.

I cut three trees from Basic White card stock using the Stampin’ Up! Forever Forest dies and adhered them to the die cut circles with glue dots. I adhered the circles to the card front with dimensionals.

I stamped the pretty sentiment from the Mixed Medley stamp set in Versamark ink on Balmy Blue and sprinkled it with white embossing powder. I shook off the excess and heated the powder with my heat tool until it was bright and shiny. I used a deckled rectangle to cut it out using a two step method and then used the die to cut a diagonal to mimic the white ribbon. I adhered the label to the card with dimensionals and glue dots and adhered a white dot to the end.

I kept the inside of the card simple, just adhering a strip of A Walk in the Forest DSP to a Basic White panel and adhering the panel with Stampin’ Seal.

The white die cut trees give just enough contrast to the embossed snow background to be visible and it keeps the design clean and simple. I love that there are so many different tree sizes in the Stampin’ Up! Forever Forest dies and I didn’t even use the smallest tree.

Stampin’ Up! Go To Greetings Christmas Thank You Cards

Good Morning! Since most of my Christmas cards are done and being sent out, it’s time to work on some thank you cards. I pulled out some Basic White note cards and envelopes and the pretty Thank You sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Go To Greetings cling stamp set. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I also used the pretty Perennial Postage dies (available Jan 4, 2024) from the upcoming January – April 2024 Mini Catalog to die cut leftover Christmas designer series paper. The dies are the perfect size for the note cards and a good way to finish off pretty DSP scraps. And it’s great that the note cards are still large enough to pop in the mail!

For the first card, I used the fourth smallest Perennial Postage rectangle die to cut two panels of Joyful specialty designer series paper. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Go To Greetings stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink on the front of a Basic White note card and adhered the die cut DSP with Stampin’ seal. I cut two holly leaves from gold foil using the Magical Meadow dies and adhered them to the card with glue dots and used red iridescent discs for the berries.

For the second card, I cut a panel of Winter Meadow designer series paper with the fourth smallest Perennial Postage rectangle die and adhered it to a rectangle Blueberry Bushel DSP panel. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Go To Greetings stamp set in Blueberry Bushel ink on a Basic White note card. I adhered the panel to the card front with Stampin’ Seal and found a leftover Garden Green die cut sprig from the Magical Meadow dies with white berries. I adhered the sprig to the card with glue dots and finished with a white baker’s twine bow.

For the last card, I cut several panels of Christmasy Garden Walk designer series paper with the smallest square and third smallest rectangle from the Perennial Postage dies and arranged them on a Basic White note card. I adhered them with Stampin’ Seal and stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Go To Greetings stamp set in Garden Green ink.

I left the insides of the cards blank so I could keep it simple. The sentiments in the Stampin’ Up! Go To Greetings stamp set are so pretty and elegant, so they’re perfect for Christmas designs. And the note cards are great for making a quick batch of cards since they’re a great weight and come pre-cut and scored.

Stampin’ Up! Merriest Trees Christmas Cards

Good Morning! Last weekend the Inkin’ Krew had a Quarterly Team meeting and after finishing the Stampin’ Up! Business portion, we made some Christmas cards with the Stampin’ Up! Merriest Trees bundle! Mary Deatherage, Karen Ksenzakovic and Rosie Kean designed cards and taught us how to make them. Here are the cards I made based on their designs. Since I have barely cracked open my A Walk in the Forest designer series paper, I adapted their designs to using these papers. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

The first card is the one Mary designed – so fun to use the negative die cut space! I cut several strips of A Walk in the Forest DSP and adhered them to a Garden Green mat. I used the largest tree die from the Stampin’ Up! Merriest Trees dies to cut a Basic White panel and emboss the panel with the Snowflake Sky 3D embossing folder. Use lots of dimensionals to adhere the embossed layer to the mat and adhere it to the front of a Cherry Cobbler card base with dimensionals. Cut the star and adhere it to the tree top and stamp the sentiment in Garden Green, trim the end and adhere it to the front.

Update: Mary posted her card today and you can see it here.

For the inside stamp the sentiment in Garden Green and the star in Daffodil Delight on a Basic White panel. Trim the bottom with a strip of DSP before adhering it to a Garden Green mat and to the inside of the card.

For my version of Karen’s design, I cut two large Pretty Peacock trees from the A Walk in the Forest DSP and cut them the way Karen did. Karen used the dies, and I had to fussy cut since the DSP tree boughs didn’t line up with the Stampin’ Up! Merriest Trees dies. But I built the tree like she instructed and adhered them to a panel of holiday greenery DSP matted on Cherry Cobbler. I adhered the panel to a Pretty Peacock card base and made a bow for the top using white iridescent ribbon. Check out Karen’s card HERE because her embossed tree is just gorgeous!

Here’s the inside. The sentiment is stamped in Cherry Cobbler on Basic White and matted on Cherry Cobbler. I love how Karen designed it with the DSP on both sides of the inside panel!

My last card is based on the card that Rosie Kean made during our meeting. Her design used the large tree, but I ran out of large trees that would go with the DSP and she showed an alternative using a die cut shape, so I decided to follow that example. I love the design using both sides of the pretty DSP! my card base is a single Pretty Peacock panel and I used the largest circle die from the Stylish Shapes dies to cut a Balmy Blue circle for the front and Basic White circles for the inside. I cut a Pretty Peacock tree with the middle tree die in the Stampin’ Up! Merriest Trees dies, adhered it with dimensionals and decorated it with a silver bow and Lost Lagoon Festive Pearls.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment in Pretty Peacock on one of the Basic White circles and stamped some Balmy Blue snowflakes on the second circle (this is where you can sign the card).

I’m so glad that the Stampin’ Up! Merriest Trees stamp set and dies are NOT retiring because they’re so versatile. And thank you Mary, Karen and Rosie for inspiring us with these pretty designs! I enjoyed playing with the A Walk in the Forest designer series paper so much that I was inspired to use it in making a rustic Christmas Tree ornament! I love that the bear can be cut with the Beary Cute punch!

Thanks to these pretty card designs, my Christmas cards are almost done! And thank goodness because the Demonstrator pre-order for the January-April 2024 Mini Catalog starts today and I’ll be getting my customer catalogs ready to mail out early next week along with my Christmas cards!

Stampin’ Up! Sparkling Snowflakes for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! We had a few snow flurries (luckily no accumulation) the day before yesterday and the timing was perfect for today’s card. I used the pretty Stampin’ Up! Sparkling Snowflakes stamp set to make this snow filled DSP for today’s card. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a theme challenge this week:

I used Blending Brushes to apply Balmy Blue and Fresh Freesia ink to a Basic White panel. Then I used the snowflake mask from the Abundant Beauty masks and another blending brush to lightly apply some pool party ink to the panel. Then I stamped the pretty snowflakes from the Stampin’ Up! Sparkling Snowflakes using Balmy Blue ink around the panel. Finally, I embossed the stamped panel with the Snowflake Sky 3D embossing folder.

I adhered the stamped and embossed panel to a Balmy Blue mat and adhered it to a Balmy Blue card base with dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Sparkling Snowflakes stamp set in Balmy Blue ink on a Basic White panel and cut it out with the label die from the Autumn Leaves dies. I folded a length of white iridescent ribbon and secured it to the back with glue dots and adhered the label to the card with dimensionals.

I cut the two large snowflakes from the Chic dies from Basic White and brushed som white Pearlized Enamel Effects over the front. After it dried (I waited about 15 minutes) I adhered them together with glue dots and popped them on the card with bits of dimensionals. It’s hard to see in the pictures, but the shimmer is pretty! I put a white sequin in the middle and scattered a bunch more around the card front.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the snowflakes from the Stampin’ Up! Sparkling Snowflakes in Balmy Blue ink on a Basic White panel. I made a 1/2″ strip of Basic White paper to match the design on the card front (It would have been easier to just make a larger panel and cut off 1/2″ from the bottom) and adhered it to the bottom of the panel. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The snowflakes in the Stampin’ Up! Sparkling Snowflakes stamp set are so beautiful and detailed! The sentiments are gorgeous too, and the set is on the Carry Over list, so Yay!

Stampin’ Up! Brightest Glow Joy Christmas Card

Good Morning! Here’s another simple Christmas card made with the Stampin’ Up! Brightest Glow stamp set and Labels Aglow dies. I paired these items with the pretty deer pattern in the Winter Meadow designer series paper for a quick and easy Christmas card. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I embossed a panel of Basic White with the Snowflake Sky 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a Thick Basic White card base with liquid glue.

I adhered a panel of the Winter Meadow designer series paper to a panel of Silver Foil and popped the layered DSP onto the card front with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Brightest Glow stamp set in Versamark ink on a Basic White panel and sprinkled it with silver embossing powder. I shook off the excess and heated the powder with my heat tool until it was bright and shiny. I cut the sentiment out with the circle label die from the Labels Aglow dies and adhered it to the card front with dimensionals and glue dots. I adhered a bow to the label with a glue dot.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Brightest Glow stamp set in Real Red ink on a Basic White panel. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

Pretty designer series paper makes it so easy to create elegant simple handmade Christmas cards. Especially when paired with the beautiful sentiments from the Stampin’ Up! Brightest Glow stamp set.

Stampin’ Up! Modern Garden for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! I used the Stampin’ Up! Modern Garden stamp set with the pretty Garden Walk 6″ x 6″ designer series paper for a Christmas card. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a sketch challenge this week and here’s the fun sketch we are using:

I stamped cluster of small flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Modern Garden stamp set in Poppy Parade ink all over the front of a Poppy Parade card base to give it texture. I adhered two panels of Garden Walk 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to the card front with liquid glue.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Modern Garden stamp set in Poppy Parade ink on Basic White and cut the sentiment out with the small rectangle from the Something Fancy dies. I ran some Stampin’ seal across the card front and adhered some Garden Green ribbon on top. I adhered the label on top of the ribbon with dimensionals.

I stamped the poinsettia flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Modern Garden stamp set in Poppy Parade ink on Basic White. I stamped the centers in Wild Wheat ink. I stamped five little leaves in stamped off Garden Green and stamped the leaf centers in Mossy Meadow. I fussy cut all the flowers and leaves with my paper snips and brushed Wink of Stella on the flowers to give them some sparkle. I adhered the flowers together with a glue dot and popped them on the card with a dimensional. I adhered the leaves around the flowers with liquid glue and finished with white sequins.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the small poinsettia from the Stampin’ Up! Modern Garden stamp set in Poppy Parade ink on Basic White. I stamped the center in Wild Wheat and stamped leaves around it in stamped off Garden Green and Mossy Meadow. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

I love poinsettias for Christmas cards. and these flowers in the Stampin’ Up! Modern Garden stamp set resemble poinsettias. The great thing about this stamp set and the Garden Walk DSP is that there are flowers and designs that are perfect for traditional Christmas and other flowers that can be used for any occasion. Both these products are retiring when the September-December 2023 Mini Catalog retires, so they are only available while supplies last!

Stampin’ Up! Christmas Classics Wreath Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Christmas Classics and Joy of Noel bundles have so many designs that work well together. For today’s Christmas card I used the sentiments from the Stampin’ Up! Christmas Classics stamp set with the die from the Joy of Noel dies and the gorgeous Joyful specialty designer series paper. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I adhered a panel of Joyful specialty designer series paper to the front of a Cherry Cobbler card base. I embossed a Cherry Cobbler strip with the Quatrefoil embossing folder and adhered it next to the pretty DSP. I adhered a thin strip of More Dazzle specialty paper, covering the seam.

I cut five pine sprigs from the gold wood print Joyful specialty DSP. I adhered them together with glue dots to make a wreath. I adhered the wreath to the card front with more glue dots.

I made a bow with Real Red ribbon and adhered it to the top of the wreath with a glue dot and used glue dots to adhere red rhinestones around the wreath.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiments from the Stampin’ Up! Christmas Classics stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink on a Basic White panel. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

This was such a simple card – the only thing that was tricky was to get the wreath right. Using glue dots to assemble the wreath first worked well for me since there was some give in adjusting the sprig angles to get a good circle before adhering it to the card front. And the simple Stampin’ Up! Christmas Classics sentiment on the inside is the perfect finish to the glamorous elegance of this card.

Stampin’ Up! Beary Cute Christmas Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Beary Cute bundle is a cute holiday photopolymer stamp set with a bear punch. I paired it with the A Walk In The Forest designer series paper to make a whimsical Christmas card. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I used the pretty sketch from Freshly Made Sketches #612 for today’s card:

I embossed a Basic White panel with the Snowflake Sky 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a Thick Basic White card base with liquid glue. I adhered two strips of A Walk In The Forest designer series paper to Balmy Blue mats and adhered them to the card front.

I used the medium tree die from the Merriest Trees dies to cut a Garden Green tree from the A Walk In The Forest designer series paper and adhered it to the card front. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Beary Cute stamp set in Garden Green ink on Balmy Blue. I cut it out with the large banner die from the Stylish Shapes dies and adhered it to the card front with dimensionals.

I used the Beary Cute punch to cut a bear from the A Walk In The Forest DSP and adhered it to the card with dimensionals and glue dots. I finished the card with blue adhesive backed glitter sequins.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sweet sentiment from the Very Best Occasions stamp set in Garden Green on a Basic White panel. I stamped some snowflakes from the Stampin’ Up! Beary Cute stamp set in Balmy Blue ink and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Beary Cute bundle is a real sweet set for Christmas cards and the A Walk In The Forest designer series paper is great for winter cards and has a sweet nature theme. All of these items are set to retire at the end of the Sep-Dec Mini Catalog, and will soon be available while supplies last.

Stampin’ Up! Wanted To Say Feel Better Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Wanted to Say dies have wonderful layered sentiments for a variety of occasions. I used the Feel Better Soon sentiment with the Garden Walk and One Horse Open Sleigh 6″ x 6″ designer series papers for a quick get well card. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I adhered a floral strip of Garden Walk 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to a Mossy Meadow panel of One Horse Open Sleigh 6″ x 6″ designer series paper with liquid glue. I adhered the layered panel to the front of a Calypso Coral card base and tied a length of Calypso Coral ribbon around the card and made a bow.

I used the Feel Better Soon sentiment dies from the Stampin’ Up! Wanted To Say dies to cut a Wild Wheat backing and Poppy Parade detailed letters. I adhered the detailed letters to the backing with liquid glue and adhered the layered words to the card front with dimensionals. The great thing is that the words are all one piece!

I accented the front with three Garden Green iridescent pearls. So quick and easy!

For the inside of the card, I adhered a strip of Garden Walk DSP to the side of a Very Vanilla panel. I cut the stem and leaves from Mossy Meadow and flower from Poppy Parade using the dies from the Stampin’ Up! Wanted To Say dies. I adhered them to the inside panel and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

This mix of designer series papers are perfect for fall and makes a cheerful get well card. And I was so surprised when I realized that this card has no stamping – the Stampin’ Up! Wanted To Say dies do all the work!
