Stampin’ Up! Cake Celebrations with Adventurous Sky Masculine Birthday Card

Good Morning! I’ve been having fun playing with the beautiful Stampin’ Up! Cake Celebrations bundle and I wanted to make a masculine birthday cake card. So I teamed this bundle up with the Stampin’ Up! Adventurous Sky stamp set and dies and a pretty plaid designer series paper from the January-April 2025 Mini Catalog that will be available on January 7, 2025. You can find the currently available supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

I adhered a panel of Timeless Plaid 6″ x 6″ designer series paper (available January 7, 2025) to a Night of Navy mat with liquid glue and adhered them both to the front of a Crumb Cake card base. On a Basic Beige panel, I stamped the metal plate from the Stampin’ Up! Adventurous Sky stamp set several times using stamped off Basic Beige ink to give the panel some texture. I adhered the panel to a Night of Navy mat and popped it on the card front with dimensionals.

I stamped the large shadow from the Stampin’ Up! Cake Celebrations stamp twice using stamped off Balmy Blue ink on Balmy Blue card stock and cut it out with the large cake die. I cut the triple frosting die from Basic Beige and adhered it to the cake. I was surprised and pleased at how the one cake die cut could make a triple layer cake! I also cut out the cake stand pieces and adhered them to the bottom of the cake. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Adventurous Sky stamp set using Night of Navy ink on Old Olive and cut it out with the Unbounded Love die. I adhered the die to the card with glue dots and popped the cake on with dimensionals.

I stamped the little airplane from the Stampin’ Up! Adventurous Air stamp set using Old Olive ink on Basic Beige. I colored it with the SU007 Stampin’ Blend (from the Medium Light Stampin’ Blend markers), light Smoky Slate and light Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blends and cut it out with the coordinating die. I adhered it to the card with glue dots. I hope this looks like an airplane topped birthday cake. Should I have added candles? Or the banner?

For the inside of the card, I stamped the airplane from the Stampin’ Up! Adventurous Sky stamp set using Old Olive ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the sentiment using Night of Navy ink and trimmed the bottom with DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Cake Celebrations bundle is so versatile – there are so many options to make the cake, with the different sizes, frosting styles and accessories using stamps and dies. It was fun to personalize the cake top with the little plane from the Stampin’ Up! Adventurous Sky bundle. And don’t forget the pretty plaid designer series paper coming in the new January-April 2025 Mini Catalog, January 7, 2025.

Stampin’ Up! Artful Amaryllis Christmas Card

Good Morning! It’s late, but I finally made a Christmas card with the beautiful Stampin’ Up! Artful Amaryllis bundle. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

I adhered a Real Red panel of Take A Bow 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to a Basic White mat and then to a Garden Green Take A Bow panel. I adhered the layered DSP to the front of a Thick Basic White card base. I used the Stampin’ Up! Artful Amaryllis dies to cut the flowers, stems and centers from Real Red, Garden Green and Basic Beige card stock.

Each flower in the Stampin’ Up! Artful Amaryllis dies are made with two die cuts. I used a sponge dauber to apply Real Red ink to the flower centers and and bottoms before adhering the petal clusters together with liquid glue. I adhered the centers with liquid glue and used liquid glue to adhere the leaves and little thingy to the stem. I adhered the stem and leaves to the card with glue dots and adhered the buds to the top of the stem with glue dots. I popped the two large flowers on the stems with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiments from the Greetings of the Season stamp set using Real Red ink on Basic White. I cut the sentiments out with the long label die from the Autumn Leaves dies and adhered the label to the card with dimensionals. I finished the large flower centers with clear dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Greetings of the Season stamp set using Real Red ink on a Basic White panel. I trimmed the bottom with DSP and adhered the panel to a Garden Green mat before adhering it to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Artful Amaryllis dies make beautiful amaryllis flowers! I love these flowers during Christmastime – they’re so big and beautiful and brighten up the room! It’s late, but I’m glad I finally used them for a Christmas card. They’re on the Last Chance list, so get them before they’re gone.

Stampin’ Up! Cake Celebrations for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good Morning! Welcome to the December Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop! The theme for this month’s hop is “Celebrate” and I used the pretty Stampin’ Up! Cake Celebrations bundle from the latest Online Exclusives release to make an Anniversary card. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

This is a fun fold card that is wonderful for showing both sides of pretty designer series paper since it uses a folded piece of DSP for the ‘card base’. I folded and burnished a panel of Regal Winter designer series paper and adhered it to a gold foil mat and then to a Real Red card base.

For the card front, I embossed a Basic White panel with the Distressed tile embossing folder and cut a Gold Foil panel with the die from the Perennial Postage dies. I adhered the embossed panel to the die cut foil and adhered it to the short front flap of DSP. I also cut the cake stand from the Stampin’ Up! Cake Celebrations dies from Gold foil and adhered it together.

I cut the two pieces of cake from Basic White using the Stampin’ Up! Cake Celebrations dies and I cut the frosting from white glimmer paper. I adhered the frosting to the cake and adhered the two cake layers and cake stand together using thin lines of liquid glue. I adhered the cake to the card front with dimensionals.

I stamped several flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Cake Celebrations stamp set using Real Red ink and leaves using Shaded Spruce ink. I cut them out with the coordinating dies and adhered them to the cake with glue dots. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Cake Celebrations stamp set using versamark ink on Shaded Spruce and sprinkled it with white embossing powder. I shook off the excess and heated the powder with my heat tool until it was bright and shiny and then fussy cut it with my paper snips. I adhered the sentiment to the card with pieces of dimensionals and finished with clear sparkle gems.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Cake Celebrations stamp set in Real Red ink on a Basic White panel. I adhered a die cut leaf sprig and flower in the corner and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Cake Celebrations cakes are beautiful, whether die cut or stamped. And the little flowers and leaf sprigs are perfectly sized for decorating the cake. It’s a wonderful bundle for making yummy cake cards.

Stampin’ Up! Encircled In Nature for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Happy Thanksgiving and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! I used the pretty Stampin’ Up! Encircled in Nature bundle to make a Thanksgiving card for today. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a theme challenge this week and my Thanksgiving card fits with the theme. Yay!

I stamped the twig wreath from the Stampin’ Up! Encircled in Nature stamp set on a Basic Beige panel and cut the inside out with the coordinating die. I embossed the panel with the Forever Plaid 3D embossing folder. I used Blending Brushes to color a sky on the Basic White panel using Pool Party and Balmy Blue inks. I blended some Lost Lagoon ink at the bottom and stamped the Trees using Pretty Peacock ink.

I adhered the stamped panel to the back of the embossed panel using liquid glue in the corners and then adhered the layered panel to the front of a Pecan Pie card base. I cut the berry wreath using the large die from the Stampin’ Up! Encircled in Nature dies from Cajun Craze and adhered it around the circle glue dots. I cut the two sets of tree line dies from Pretty Peacock and adhered them to the bottom of the circle with glue dots.

I stamped the sentiment using Pretty Peacock ink on Basic Beige. I used the ‘Happy‘ from the Labeled with Love stamp set and the ‘Thanksgiving‘ from the Choose Happy stamp set. I was surprised and pleased that the fonts work together as well as they do and I was glad to have a greeting small enough to work with the card. I finished the front with Basic Beige shimmer gems and a Copper Clay linen thread bow.

For the inside panel, I stamped the large evergreen from the Stampin’ Up! Encircled in Nature stamp set using Pretty Peacock ink on Basic Beige. I stamped the sentiment from the Iconic Imagery stamp set using Pecan Pie ink next to the tree and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!! I hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving, surrounded by loved ones!

Stampin’ Up! Golden Greenery Christmas Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Golden Greenery bundle and the Season of Green and Gold specialty designer series paper make the most elegant Christmas cards! I’ve made several Christmas cards with these items along with the beautiful Greetings of the Season sentiments and I love them all. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I adhered a gorgeous greenery panel from the Season of Green and Gold specialty designer series paper to the front of a Very Vanilla card base. I adhered another panel to a Mossy Meadow mat and adhered it to the card front with dimensionals.

I used the pine outline die from the Stampin’ Up! Golden Greenery dies to cut pine sprigs from the Graceful Greenery vellum and adhered them to the card with glue dots. I cut a greenery sprig from the Season of Green and Gold specialty designer series paper with the coordinating die and adhered it to the card with glue dots. The dies from the Stampin’ Up! Golden Greenery bundle can cut some of the images from both of these DSP packs – I love it!

I stamped the sentiments from the Greetings of the Season stamp set using Versamark ink on Old Olive card stock. I sprinkled it with Gold embossing powder and shook off the excess. I heated the powder with my heat tool until it was bright and shiny. I cut it out with the Labeled with Love die and adhered it to the card with dimensionals. I finished the card with gold faceted gems and a gold thread bow.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Greetings of the Season stamp set using Mossy Meadow ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the leaf sprig with the stem from the Stampin’ Up! Golden Greenery stamp set using Old Olive ink and the berries in Wild Wheat. For both of these, I used full strength ink on one stamp and stamped off ink on the second stamp. I trimmed the bottom with DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal. I wasn’t sure about mixing Very Vanilla and Basic White, but it’s done in the DSP and so I went ahead and tried it for my inside panel. What do you think?

Another elegant Christmas card made with the Stampin’ Up! Golden Greenery bundle and Season of Green and Gold DSP.

Stampin’ Up! Happy Hibiscus Sneak Peek

Happy Monday Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Happy Hibiscus bundle is one of the pretty new bundles that will be available tomorrow with the new Online Exclusives release. It has pretty tropical flowers and great sentiments and it has a hybrid embossing folder, where you can emboss and die cut at the same time. So I did that with my flower and I love the texture! You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I embossed a Basic White panel with the Happy Hibiscus embossing folder (no dies) and adhered it to the front of a Thick Basic White card base. I adhered a panel of floral Mediterranean Blooms designer series paper to a checked To Market designer series paper with liquid glue and adhered it to the card front.

I stamped the large flower from the Stampin’ Up! Happy Hibiscus stamp set using Daffodil Delight ink and colored it with Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends. I aligned the image with the coordinating die and the embossing folder and ran it through my die cutting machine to get a dimensional flower. I adhered it to the card with dimensionals and tucked three die cut Garden Green leaves underneath.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Happy Hibiscus stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Basic White. I cut it out with the rectangular label die using the two step method to cut it out (line up one end and cut it out, and then line up the other end to cut the fancy edge). I adhered the label to the card with glue dots and wrapped Garden Green linen thread around the top to make a bow. I finished the card with three pink pearls.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Happy Hibiscus stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a Basic White panel. I adhered a mat of To Market DSP to the inside of the card and adhered the inside panel on top with Stampin’ Seal.

Here is the Stampin’ Up! Happy Hibiscus bundle – the stamp set, embossing folder and dies:

Item 164880 – Happy Hibiscus Bundle

These products will be available tomorrow in the Online Exclusives. I love making tropical cards during the cold, snowy winter months to warm me up, dreaming of lying on a warm tropical beach. The Stampin’ Up! Happy Hibiscus bundle will be perfect!

Stampin’ Up! Sophisticated Sled Wreath Christmas Card

Good Saturday Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Sophisticated Sled bundle is a wonderful bundle for making Christmas cards and other projects wonderful sleds, skates and Christmas greenery to go with the pretty sentiments. I used the wreath for today’s Christmas card, pairing it with the festive Take A Bow 6″ x 6″ designer series paper. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

The wreath is kind of small, so I decided to make the front flap shorter than the back, and use pretty DSP to show through. So I cut, scored and burnished my card base so that the fold is on the side and the front is 1″ shorter that the back. I adhered Real Red mats to the card front and inside panel and adhered the panels of Take A Bow 6″ x 6″ DSP to the mats.

I stamped the wreath from the Stampin’ Up! Sophisticated Sled stamp set using Mossy Meadow ink on Basic White and colored it with light Cherry Cobbler, light Lost Lagoon, light Granny Apple Green and dark Old Olive Stampin’ Blends. I cut it out with the coordinating die – it is such a pretty wreath! I cut a Basic White panel with the Stylish Shapes square and adhered it to the card front with liquid glue and popped the wreath on top with dimensionals. I colored a length of gingham ribbon with the dark Real Red Stampin’ Blend and made a bow. I adhered the bow to the top of the wreath with a glue dot.

I stamped the sentiments from the Greetings of the Season stamp set using Versamark ink on Real Red card stock. I sprinkled them with white embossing powder and shook off the excess powder. I heated them with my heat tool until they were bright and shiny and then cut them out with the small banner die from the Stylish Shapes dies. I used the two step method on both sentiments, making the ‘Merry‘ shorter and the “Christmas‘ longer. I adhered the labels to the card with dimensionals and finished the card with sparkle gems.

For the inside panel, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Sophisticated Sled stamp set using Real Red ink on Basic White. I stamped the little cardinal from the stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Basic White and colored it with Daffodil Delight, Real Red and Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends. I cut it out with the coordinating die and adhered it next to the sentiment with a glue dot. I adhered the panel to the left side of the Real Red mat on the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The wreath in the Stampin’ Up! Sophisticated Sled bundle is small, but it’s so, so pretty and I love wreath Christmas cards. All the winter fun elements make the bundle really versatile, and I can’t wait to play with it again!

Stampin’ Up! Sentimental Rose Card Kit

Good Monday Morning! You know that the Stampin’ Up! Kits Collection is on sale this month, and I’ve chosen the Stampin’ Up! Sentimental Rose card kit for today. It is a beautiful kit that has been around for a while with the prettiest flower stamp and simple sentiments for many occasions. I really love the stamp set and the card designs, so I picked it up when it first came out. And as a bonus, it includes an acetate box that you can use to hold the cards.

Here’s a quick YouTube video showing the contents of the kit and instructions for putting the cards together:

I assembled the beautiful cards as designed, just changing up the sentiments and adjusting the length of the baker’s twine. The instructions say to use 12″ lengths, but I used 18″ lengths for this card. I used 14″ for the second and 20″ for the box. I still had enough baker’s twine left to make 12″ bows for the third card (which didn’t have any twine) and a little left over.

And here’s the second card. I love the corrugated accents on the cards. The cards are note card sized (3-1/2″ x 5″) and flat, so they’re perfect for mailing. Even the dots included are fairly flat – and so shiny!

And here’s the last card. The color palette includes the retired So Saffron and Mint Macaroon. But the stamping is done with the included Gray Granite Stampin’ Spot, so no need to worry about trying to get retired colors on the secondary market. And I think the flower will look great stamped using the new In Colors Pretty In Pink and Peach Pie.

Here are the cards with the completed gift box. The kit makes 9 cards, 3 of each design and comes with coordinating printed envelopes.

With the decorated box, the Stampin’ Up! Sentimental Rose card kit is perfect for gift giving. Or you can give the unfinished kit to a crafty friend getting started with card making! With the kits currently on sale (ending on Thursday, Oct 31), now is the perfect time to get this kit or any other of the kits in the Stampin’ Up! Kits Collection. Check off another item on your holiday gift list!

Stampin’ Up! More Than Autumn Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! More Than Autumn is so fun, celebrating Fall using the flavors of the season, apple cinnamon, chocolate and pumpkin spice, rather than with falling leaves. And it’s full of great sentiments too! You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I adhered a panel of Iconic Celebrations 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to a Pecan Pie mat and popped it onto the front of a Pumpkin Pie (what else?) card base with dimensionals. I used the Iconic Imagery and Stylish Shapes dies to cut a label and banner from Basic Beige and Pecan Pie card stocks. I used my paper snips to cut the Pecan Pie banner in half and adhered it to the back of the Basic Beige label and adhered them both to the card with liquid glue.

I stamped the pie, cup and a little pumpkin from the Stampin’ Up! More Than Autumn stamp set using Early Espresso ink on Basic Beige card stock. I stamped the little pumpkin again on the cup and colored them all with Pumpkin Pie and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends. I cut them out with the coordinating dies. I stamped the whipped cream dollops with Early Espresso on Basic White and cut them out with the coordinating dies – there’s a small die for the pie! I also cut some leaves from Old Olive, Daffodil Delight and Cajun Craze.

I cut the ‘pumpkin spice’ words using the Stampin’ Up! More Than Autumn dies from Pumpkin Pie card stock and adhered them to the labels. I adhered the cup, pie and pumpkin with dimensionals and tucked the leaves underneath. I stamped the sentiment with Early Espresso ink on Pecan Pie and adhered it with glue dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiments from the Stampin’ Up! More Than Autumn stamp set using Early Espresso ink on Basic Beige. I stamped the heart in Pumpkin Pie and adhered the die cut leaves and pumpkin with glue dots. I trimmed the bottom with DSP before adhering the panel to the inside with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! More Than Autumn bundle is such a fun set for fall and will be great to carry over into winter with the hot cocoa and peppermint mocha themes. And there are apples and cider with cinnamon too. So many options make this a fun and versatile set.

Stampin’ Up! Golden Greenery for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! I used the pretty Stampin’ Up! olden Greenery bundle with the elegant Season of Green and Gold designer series paper to make a Christmas card filled with holiday greenery. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a pretty challenge this week:

I adhered a panel of Season of Green and Gold designer series paper to the front of an Old Olive card base with liquid glue. I cut two additional panels of the DSP with the second largest square die from the Stylish Shapes dies and adhered them to the card with liquid glue.

I cut the large leaf sprig die from the Stampin’ Up! Golden Greenery dies from gold foil and adhered it to the card with glue dots. I cut two pine sprigs (with the touches of snow) from the Graceful Greenery vellum and adhered them with glue dots. I cut a small leaf sprig from the Season of Green and Gold specialty paper with the coordinating die and adhered it with dimensionals. I love it when dies cut out DSP images as well as stamped images!!

I stamped the sentiments from the Greetings of the Season stamp set on Very Vanilla using Versamark ink. I stamped the ‘Christmas‘ sentiment first and sprinkled it with gold embossing powder and then lined up/stamped the ‘Merry‘ sentiment on top and sprinkled more gold embossing powder. I shook off the excess and heated the powder with my heat tool until it was bright and shiny. I cut the sentiment out with the banner die from the Stylish shapes dies. I adhered the label to the card with glue dots and finished the card with a loopy gold bow and white berries.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the detailed pine sprig from the Stampin’ Up! Golden Greenery stamp set using Old Olive ink on a Very Vanilla panel. I stamped the background sprig using stamped-off Old Olive and the sentiment from the Greetings of the Season stamp set using Wild Wheat. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Golden Greenery bundle has such elegant greenery, both stamps and dies! Along with the beautiful Season of Green and Gold specialty DSP, it makes beautiful Christmas cards.
