Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Wishes for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning! Welcome to another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! I pulled out the versatile Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Wishes bundle for today’s card to show a cozy homespun snowflake Christmas card. I paired the Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Wishes bundle with the Plaid Tidings 6″ x 6″ designer series paper. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

We have a sketch challenge this week, and here is the sketch we are using:

I started by stamping the front of a Seaside Spray card base with the large snowflake cluster stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Wishes stamp set using Seaside Spray ink. I cut a panel of the Plaid Tidings designer series paper with one of the Stitched Rectangles Dies and adhered it to a Rococo Rose mat. I popped the layered designer series paper on the card front with dimensionals.

I stamped the large snowflake from the Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Wishes stamp set in Seaside Spray ink on a panel of Whisper White and cut it out with the coordinating die. I stamped the second largest snowflake in Rococo Rose ink on Whisper White and cut it out with the coordinating die. I cut out the medium detailed snowflake from Seaside Spray and layered all the snowflakes together, adhering them with liquid glue. I added light blue adhesive backed gems to the snowflake.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Wishes stamp set in Seaside Spray ink on Whisper White. I cut it out with the Stitched Rectangles Dies using the two step die cutting method. I adhered the label to the card front with Stampin’ Seal and decorated it with another blue adhesive backed gem. I popped the layered snowflake on with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Snowman Season photopolymer stamp set in Rococo Rose ink on a Whisper White panel. I stamped snowflakes from the Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Wishes stamp set in the corners and trimmed the bottom with a strip of the Plaid Tidings DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

This Christmas card reminds me of a warm fleece blanket – the perfect thing for a cold Christmas morning!

Stampin’ Up! Celebration Tidings Team Meeting Projects

Good Morning! Today I have some cards that we made at our Inkin’ Krew Team Meeting last weekend! Our Team Leader Amy Koenders sent out tutorials and we prepared our kits and made cards along with the card designers during our virtual quarterly in-person meeting via Zoom – it will be nice when we are able to meet in person again – sigh.

Anyway, all the cards featured the versatile Stampin’ Up! Celebration Tidings bundle. The first card is a real cutie designed by Jaime Babarczy – a Christmas card with a flip panel! It says Merry Christmas underneath! It has a rich Cherry Cobbler card base, embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder and the great Plaid Tidings DSP background. So much fun. Jaime is a wonderful designer and you can find more of her work on her blog Stamp it up with Jaime.

The second card is a Thanksgiving card designed by Mary Deatherage. Mary used the cute pumpkin patch stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Celebration Tidings and the wonderful Thanksgiving sentiment. Starting with an embossed Cinnamon Cider card base, she layered Blackberry Bliss and Plaid Tidings die cut panels, Embroidered Ribbon and the stamped panel colored with Stampin’ Blends. Mary’s cards are always gorgeous and you can find more of her work in her blog Stamps-n-Lingers.

Amy designed our next project which is a bag topper. The Stampin’ Up! Celebration Tidings dies make perfect bag toppers that are great for any time of year. You should check out Amy’s blog Stamp with Amy K because she uses the larger Mosaic Gusseted Cellophane bag and and made larger topper. I made a smaller version, so my poinsettia is not as grand (and her bag is filled with chocolate😊). But it shows how you can take a design and modify it based on what you have!!

Our final card was designed by Sue Prather and it’s a Valentine!! The Stampin’ Up! Celebration Tidings has great Valentine’s Day designs, so I’m glad Sue chose to share this with us. She paired the Plaid Tidings DSP with a Melon Mambo card base and mounted the sentiment on a layered heart made with the Heart Punch Pack. I am always amazed by Sue’s work, because it’s always simple and always perfect. You can see what I mean by visiting her blog Stamp with Sue Prather.

These projects show how versatile the Stampin’ Up! Celebration Tidings bundle is. And there are even designs for Halloween that we didn’t explore. Click on the picture below to get the full details and more inspiration in my Online Store.

It was great to be able to craft with others even though it was virtual. And we had a great turnout for out quarterly meeting as you can see.

My own team is much smaller and growing, and yet we have the advantage of being a part of this wonderful, talented, supportive and inspiring group of paper crafters.

If you’d like to join my team, I’d love to have you!  You can join by paying $99 for your Starter kit and choose $125 of products to put in it! And then you get a 20% – 25% discount on your purchases! Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Wishes Christmas Card Video Tutorial

Good Morning! Today I’m sharing a Christmas card made with the Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Wishes bundle that I made during my Facebook Live video tutorial yesterday afternoon. This is such a simple card, but is amazing because of the touches of silver foil card stock. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

Here is the Facebook Live video showing how I made the card. Note that in the video, I did a lot of prep work ahead of time to move things along:

I will also edit and post a concise tutorial on my YouTube Channel, so look for that soon. You can now view it here.

I embossed a panel of Seaside Spray card stock with the Winter Snow embossing folder and adhered it to a silver foil mat. I wrapped a length of Seaside Spray metallic ribbon around the panel about 1″ from the bottom. I stamped the Merry Christmas sentiment from the Cherish the Season cling stamp set using Versamark ink on a strip of Seaside Spray. I sprinkled it with Silver embossing powder and heat set until shiny. I cut it out with a die from the Ornate Labels Dies.

I cut out the snowflakes from silver foil using the So Many Snowflakes Dies from the Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Wishes bundle. I cut one of the large snowflakes and two of the small snowflakes. I also cut two of the smallest snowflakes from the Christmas Layers Dies. I placed the label on the ribbon and arranged the silver foil die cut snowflakes on the panel, adhering them with liquid glue. I adhered the label with glue dots and added some rhinestones.

I stamped the sentiment from the Cherish the Season stamp set in Seaside Spray ink and stamped some snowflakes in Seaside Spray ink around a Whisper White panel. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Wishes bundle is so versatile for creating snowflake cards for Christmas and for the winter with intricate die cuts that make beautiful snowflakes and other die cuts that cut out stamped snowflakes! The hex frame is also perfect for making a shaker card – you can see one that I made a while back here. Click the image below to get the full details of this bundle in my Online Store.

Stampin’ Up! In The Pines Rustic Christmas Card

Good Morning! Today I’m sharing a Christmas Card made with the versatile new Stampin’ Up! In The Pines stamp bundle. I’m using the large Pine Tree die cuts to make a Christmas Tree card! You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I die cut the background large tree background from Just Jade card stock and the detailed tree from Shaded Spruce card stock using the Pine Woods Dies. I adhered them together with dots of liquid glue. I cut a large oval from Whisper White and a large scalloped oval from Cherry Cobbler using the Layering Ovals Dies. I embossed the Whisper White oval with the Wrapped in Texture embossing folder and adhered it to the front of the Cherry Cobbler scalloped oval. I popped the layered tree on top with dimensionals and accented it with rhinestones.

I adhered a panel of ‘Tis the Season 6″x6″ designer series paper to a Basic Black mat. I embossed a strip of Cherry Cobbler with the Wrapped in Texture embossing folder and adhered it to the bottom of the plaid paper. I colored a length of Whisper White crinkle seam binding ribbon with the light Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blend and wrapped it around the seam and tied a bow. I stamped the Seasons Greetings sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! In The Pines photopolymer stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a strip of Whisper White. I cut it out with the smallest die from the Stitched Rectangles Dies and adhered it to the embossed red panel on the plaid layered panel.

I adhered the layered plaid panel to the front of a Just Jade card base with dimensionals. I adhered the layered oval panel to the card front with dimensionals.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Dove of Hope stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a Whisper White panel. Next to the sentiment, I stamped the medium tree from the Stampin’ Up! In The Pines stamp set in stamped off Just Jade ink. I trimmed the bottom with a strip of the green plaid ‘Tis The Season DSP and adhered it to a Basic Black mat and then to the inside of the card.

Stampin’ Up! Coming Home Video Tutorial

Good Morning! Today I’m sharing a Christmas card made with the Stampin’ Up! Coming Home bundle that I made during my Facebook Live video tutorial yesterday afternoon. For today’s card, I used felt for the snow! I have wanted to play with felt for a long time and I finally made it happen with this card! You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

Here is the Facebook Live video showing how I made the card:

I will also edit and post a concise tutorial on my YouTube Channel, so look for that soon. You can find it here.

I started by cutting a 1-3/4″ x 5″ panel of while felt from the Festive Felt sheet combo pack with the rolling hillside die from the Home Together Dies. I was really pleased at how easy it was to cut!! I also cut a panel of Whisper White to match and adhered the felt to the front. This gives me a bright white snow bank as my sample card was adhered to the DSP directly and looks a little dingy.

I stamped all my die cuts in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Whisper White and cut them out with the coordinating dies. I stamped 4 houses, three large pine trees, two small pine trees and a wreath from the Stampin’ Up! Coming Home photopolymer stamp set. I colored them all with Stampin’ Blends – Old Olive, Smoky Slate, Real Red, Daffodil Delight and Soft Suede. I stamped the bare tree and adhered the snowbank to the Trimming the Town DSP and then the DSP to a Whisper White mat. I tucked the small pine tree under the snow bank, stamped the smoke and adhered the large house with dimensionals and liquid glue.

I adhered the two smaller houses together with liquid glue and popped them on the larger house with dimensionals. I added the wreath with dimensionals and the two large pine trees with dimensionals and liquid glue. I stamped the sentiment from the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set in Tuxedo Black in on a strip of Whisper White. I trimmed the end with the new Banners Pick a Punch and adhered it to the front with liquid glue. I finished the label with a red rhinestone. I popped the little scene onto the front of a Real Red card base with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Toile Christmas stamp set in real red ink and adhered the last two trees to the bottom of a Whisper White panel. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Coming Home bundle has so many cute elements to make different kinds of houses for holidays as well as to congratulate someone who got a new home or welcome someone who just moved in next door. Click the image below to get the full details of this bundle in my Online Store.

Stampin’ Up! Snowman Season Christmas Card

Good Morning! Today I have another Christmas card with a cheery snowman from the Stampin’ Up! Snowman Season photopolymer stamp set. This set is a returning favorite and this little snowman is my favorite – so happy for the snow! You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

The layout for my card was inspired by the SSC238 Sketch from Sunday Stamps:

I embossed a panel of Balmy Blue card stock with the Winter Snow embossing folder and adhered a matted panel of Snowflake Splendor designer series paper across it. I adhered the panel to the front of a Pacific Point card base.

I stamped the cheery snowman from the Stampin’ Up! Snowman Season stamp set in Night of Navy ink on a Whisper White panel. I colored the little scene with Stampin’ Blends – Pumpkin Pie for the carrot, Purple Posy and Balmy Blue for the scarf and hat, Just Jade for the tree and Bronze for the rocks. I adhered the panel to a Pacific Point mat and popped it on the card front with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Snowman Season stamp set in Pacific Point ink on a strip of Whisper White and cut it out with the die from the Ornate Layers Dies using the two step die cutting method. I adhered it to a Pacific Point mat and adhered it to the card front with liquid glue and dimensionals. I added adhesive iridescent snowflakes to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Snowman Season stamp set in Pacific Point ink on a Whisper White panel and stamped the snowflake cluster in Balmy Blue ink. I adhered a strip of Snowflake Splendor DSP to the bottom of the panel and adhered the panel to the inside of the card. I also adhered some adhesive backed snowflakes to the inside.

I’m so happy to use the beautiful Snowflake Splendor DSP with this little snowman. Snowman Christmas cards are so whimsical and loved, even in places that don’t get snow at Christmas! And snowman stamps can also be used for winter cards, so they are pretty versatile.

Stampin’ Up! Peace and Joy Christmas Card

Good Morning! Today I have simple Christmas card made with the Stampin’ Up! Peace and Joy bundle. This is a simple holiday stamp set with layered word dies! You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I stamped the Christmas images from the Stampin’ Up! Peace and Joy photopolymer stamp set on a Whisper White panel using Granny Apple Green, Poppy Parade, Garden Green and Smoky Slate ink. I adhered the panel to the front of a Poppy Parade Card base with Stampin’ Seal.

I cut five of the thin peace words from the Joy Dies from Poppy Parade card stock. I put Shimmery Crystal Effects on one of the words and let it dry. I adhered the five die cut words together with the fine tip glue pen, with the shiny one on top. This gives me a thicker word, like it was made from chipboard. I cut the medium thickness peace word die from Pool Party card stock and adhered the stacked Poppy Parade words on top with the fine tip glue pen. I adhered it to the card front with liquid glue. Can you see the glittery shine?

I stamped the on earth sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Peace and Joy in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a small piece of Whisper White. I cut it out with paper snips and popped it on the card with dimensionals. I added Blue sequins to each of the Smoky Slate stars to finish the card front.

I used the same colors as the card front to stamp some holly and pine sprigs in the corners of a Whisper White panel and adhered the panel to the inside of the card. Here’s a close up of the shiny stacked Peace word.

Here’s the Stampin’ Up! Peace and Joy bundle, and you can see the three different sized word dies. The medium sized die can also be used to cut out the stamped words that come in the stamp set.

I love the layered word dies because they are so versatile and allow the word to really stand out. But the images in the stamp set are great all-around Christmas images that are great for accenting many styles of Christmas Cards. Here are a couple more cards that the Stampin’ Up! artists have created using this set to give you some more ideas. Click the image to download a PDF of the instructions.

Stampin’ Up! In The Pines Christmas Card

Good Morning! Today I have another Christmas card made with the new Stampin’ Up! In The Pines bundle. This is a sweet two-step photopolymer stamp set with several rustic hand drawn pine trees and it comes bundled with the coordinating Pine Woods Dies. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered a panel of the red Heartwarming Hugs designer series paper to a Mossy Meadow mat and then to a panel of the striped Heartwarming Hugs DSP. I adhered these to the front of a Real Red card base. I cut a small Whisper White panel with the Stitched Rectangles Dies and embossed it with the Evergreen Forest 3D embossing folder. I adhered it to a Real Red mat.

I stamped the large outline tree from the Stampin’ Up! In the Pines stamp set in VersaMark Ink on a Mossy Meadow panel. I sprinkled it with gold embossing powder and heat set until shiny. I cut it out with the coordinating die and popped it on the dry embossed panel with dimensionals. I wrapped it in metallic Real Red ribbon and gold cord and added a bow on top with a glue dot. I popped the tree on the card front with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! In the Pines stamp set in Real Red ink on a strip of Whisper White. I cut it out with the small die from the Stitched Rectangles Dies and popped it on the bottom of the tree panel with dimensionals. I finished off the card front with three red Wonderful Gems.

I stamped the sentiment from the Dove of Hope stamp set in Real Red ink on a Whisper White panel. I stamped some of the trees from the tree cluster stamp from the Stampin’ Up! In the Pines stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink on the bottom of the panel and trimmed it with more striped Heartwarming Hugs DSP. I adhered it to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

I love the scribble style boughs in these pine trees and it’s really nice to have dies that cut them out. And the Heartwarming Hugs designer series paper is real colorful and festive. It will be nice in December to pull this card out and address it to someone in my family.

Stampin’ Up! Cherish the Season Wreath Christmas Card

Good Morning! Today I used the wonderful Wreath Builder Dies to create a pretty Christmas Wreath to go with the sentiments from the Stampin’ Up! Cherish the Season cling stamps for a Christmas Card! You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered a panel of the Shaded Spruce plaid paper from the Plaid Tidings 6″ x 6″ designer series paper pack to the front of a Real Red card base with Stampin’ Seal. I embossed a panel of Whisper White card stock with the Pinewood Planks 3D embossing folder and adhered it to a Real Red mat before popping it on the card front with dimensionals.

I cut the leaf wreath from the Wreath Builder Dies from Shaded Spruce card stock, two poinsettias from Real Red card stock and the two pieced bow from Bumblebee card stock. I adhered the wreath and poinsettias on embossed panel with liquid glue and popped the bow on with a piece of a dimensional. I accented the centers of the poinsettias with yellow rhinestones.

I stamped the Merry Christmas sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Cherish the Season stamp set in Real Red ink on a strip of Whisper White and cut it out with the label die from the Ornate Frames Dies. I adhered it to the card front with liquid glue and decorated it with a red rhinestone.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Cherish the Season stamp set in Real Red ink on a Whisper White panel and trimmed the bottom with a strip of Plaid Tidings DSP. I added another poinsettia and small piece of the leaf wreath to the upper corner and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

I love wreath Christmas cards and the Wreath Builder Dies make beautiful ones, whether simple or more elaborate. Plus, it’s fun – like decorating a holiday wreath for your front door!!

Stampin’ Up! Wonder of the Season Christmas Card

Good Morning! Today I have a Christmas Card made with the Stampin’ Up! Wonder of the Season Memories and More card pack and the cards and envelopes. But the star of the card is the beautiful red foil poinsettia made from the Poinsettia Dies. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I cut the Garden Green and gold foil pine branch Stampin’ Up! Wonder of the Season Memories and More large card in half and adhered it to the front of a Stampin’ Up! Wonder of the Season Memories and More card bases. These cards are larger than your normal A2 card and are so pretty with the red foil trim. The large Memories and More cards fit perfectly on the front and the small cards fit perfectly on the on the inside of the red foil frame. So I cut the large card in half to incorporate the pretty frame in the card design.

I cut three of the petal clusters from the Poinsettia Dies from red foil with the embossing dies. I gently curled the petals down with my fingers and adhered them together with glue dots. I adhered the flower to the card front with glue dots and added three Gilded Gems to the center. I stamped the Merry Christmas sentiment from the Perfectly Plaid photopolymer stamp set in Versamark ink on a Whisper White panel. I sprinkled it with gold embossing powder and heat set until shiny. I cut it out with a die from the Painted Labels Dies and adhered it to the card front.

I stamped two leaves from the Poinsettia Petals photopolymer stamp set in Versamark ink on Garden Green card stock. I sprinkled them with gold embossing powder and heat set until shiny. I cut them out with the coordinating dies and adhered them under the poinsettia with glue dots. I finished off the card front with a double bow made with gold twine.

I adhered a strip of the Stampin’ Up! Wonder of the Season specialty designer series paper to the bottom of a Whisper White panel so I could bring the pretty red foil scroll work to the inside of the card. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Wonder of the Season card pack and cards and envelopes are a great way to make beautiful quick Christmas cards. The nostalgic themes are cheerful and fun. The touches of foil add an elegant sparkle and shine that coordinate well with many Christmas stamps and dies like the pretty poinsettia.
