Stampin’ Up! Painted Lavender Thinking of You Card

Good Morning! One of the prettiest bundles from the last few years is the Stampin’ Up! Painted Lavender stamp set and dies and they are currently on the Last Chance products list with wonderful discounts! I used it with the pretty Perennial Lavender designer series paper to make a simple fun fold Thinking of You card. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

Adhere a panel of Perennial Lavender designer series paper to the front panel of the Highland Heather card base. Cut a Gorgeous Grape panel with the second largest Perennial Postage dies and adhere another panel of the DSP to the die cut.

Stamp the sentiment from the Simply Said stamp set using Versamark ink on Gorgeous Grape. Sprinkle the sentiment with white embossing powder and shake off the excess. Heat the powder with a heat tool until it’s bright and shiny and cut it out with the rectangle die from the Perennial Postage dies. Adhere it to the layered die cut with glue dots.

Cut two leaf sprigs using the Stampin’ Up! Painted Lavender dies from Lost Lagoon and adhere them to the large die cut with glue dots. Cut two double floral sprigs from Gorgeous Grape and Highland Heather and adhere three of the sprigs to the die cut panel with bits of dimensionals at the top and glue dots at the bottom. Adhere the die cut panel to the card front with dimensionals and finish with a white bow and purple shimmer gems.

For the inside of the card, stamp the little butterfly from the Stampin’ Up! Painted Lavender stamp set using Highland Heather ink on a Basic White panel. Adhere a strip of DSP to the side and adhere the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal so that the DSP shows when the card is closed.

The pretty Perennial Lavender designer series paper and purple shimmer gems are carried over in the new Annual Catalog and are perfect for making cards for those special ladies who love purple. Definitely check out the Stampin’ Up! Painted Lavender stamp set and dies on the Last Chance list for a great bargain while supplies last!

Stampin’ Up! Country Flowers for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good Morning! Welcome to the April Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop! The theme for this month’s hop is “For the Ladies/Girls” and I used the some retiring products to make a Mother’s Day Card, including the pretty Stampin’ Up! Country Flowers bundle and the Countryside Inn designer series paper. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

I adhered a panel striped panel of the retiring Countryside Inn designer series paper to a Misty Moonlight mat with liquid glue. I adhered it to a floral panel of the Countryside Inn DSP and then adhered the layered DSP to the front of a Boho Blue card base. Boho Blue is one of the retiring 2023-3035 In Colors.

I stamped teapot and flowers from the retiring Stampin’ Up! Country Flowers stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Basic White and cut them out with the coordinating dies. I colored the teapot with light Boho Blue Stampin’ Blend, shading it to give the teapot dimension. I colored the flowers with the light Boho Blue Stampin’ Blend and the dark Night of Navy Stampin’ Blend, leaving some flowers white.

I cut panels of Misty Moonlight and Basic White with the large octagonal die from the retiring Wildflower Designs dies. I embossed the inside of the Misty Moonlight panel with the retiring Cute Crochet 3D embossing folder. I adhered the Basic White frame to the card with dimensionals on the top and bottom and adhered the embossed panel with liquid glue. Doesn’t it look like a lacy doily? With the DSP stripe layer, the embossed inside and frame are almost level. I adhered the teapot with glue dots and popped the flowers on top with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the retiring Flower Cart stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Boho Blue and cut it out with the medium label die from the Mixed Labels dies. I used the two step method to make the die cut a little longer and was glad it worked out pretty well! I adhered the label to the card with dimensionals and finished with Night of Navy gems and a loopy Night of Navy linen thread bow.

For the inside of the card, I stamped a flower cluster from the Country Birdhouse stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink in the corner of a Basic White panel and colored it with Boho Blue and Night of Navy Stampin’ Blends. I stamped the sentiment from the Flower Card stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and trimmed the side with DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Country Flowers stamp set and dies are such a sweet set and I’m sorry to see it retiring. I don’t usually like to use so many different stamp sets and tools on cards, but I think all of these items work well together to make a sweet, feminine Mother’s Day card. Many of the retiring products I used for today’s card have been discounted in the Last Chance section of the Online Store. Many times the individual discounted prices of the stamp sets and dies total less than the bundled prices, so make sure to double check before adding them to your card.

Stampin’ Up! Sketched Butterflies Thank You Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! The Stampin’ Up! Sketched Butterflies bundle is full of pretty pen drawn butterflies and sweet sentiments and I paired it with the colorful Full Of Life 6″ x 6″ designer series paper for a Thank You card. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a color challenge this week and I used all of the colors – I love how the Full Of Life DSP blends the colors in those little circles!

I embossed a Summer Splash panel with the Forever Plaid 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a Summer Splash card base. I adhered a panel of Full Of Life 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to a Melon Mambo mat and wrapped it with Summer Splash ribbon and tied a bow. I adhered the DSP panel to the card with liquid glue.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Sketched Butterflies stamp set Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Lemon Lime Twist card stock and cut it out with a Stylish Shapes circle die. I adhered it to the card with glue dots.

I used the die from the Stampin’ Up! Sketched Butterflies dies to cut a Basic Black panel. I brushed Wink of Stella on the butterflies to give them sparkle – I just wish it showed up better in the pictures. I adhered the butterflies to the card with bits of black dimensionals and finished the card with Lemon Lime Twist dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the small butterflies from the Stampin’ Up! Sketched Butterflies stamp set using Calypso Coral, Summer Splash, Lemon Lime Twist, Pumpkin Pie and Berry Burst inks. I inked up each butterfly separately and wiped the stamp before stamping the next one. I trimmed the bottom with DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal..

The Stampin’ Up! Sketched Butterflies bundle is on the Last Chance products list so it’s only available while supplies last. Be sure to check out the Last Chance list to see the retiring items from the current Annual and Mini Catalogs.

Stampin’ Up! Mix & Match Ephemera Pack Note Cards

Good Morning! Sorry it’s been a while since I posted, I’ve been busy playing with Grandkids, traveling and cleaning. So I pulled out my Stampin’ Up! Mix & Match Ephemera Packs and put together some quick and fun note cards to slowly get back into the swing. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

The first card is a homage to Tucson, AZ, where we just spent the last few weeks. I embossed a pool Party panel with the Mini Corrugated 3D embossing folder and adhered it to a Basic White Note Card. I layered it with pieces from the Something For Everything and Labels & Layers ephemera packs – they capture the beauty of the mountains and of course I had to use the saguaro cactus!! And the sentiment is perfect – every day is a good day in the Southwest! I finished with a Copper Clay baker’s twine bow and Faux Glass dots.

My second card is simpler, using the pretty flower and leaves from the Fully Flowering ephemera pack and a simple hello from the Saying Something ephemera pack. I just adhered a panel of Pool Party vellum gingham to a Basic White Note card and adhered everything on top with glue dots and dimensionals. I finished with a loopy linen thread bow and clear Opal Gems.

For my last card, I used a Basic Beige card base and piled on some things on from the Labels & Layers and Something For Everything ephemera packs. Kind of making it look like a messy desk with a throwback typewriter instead of computer. But I don’t really have a bird on my desk, I just thought it was cute. But I love that sentiment from the Saying Something ephemera pack. I finished with a Flirty Flamingo baker’s twine bow and dots.

All the cards are different and yet since they use Stampin’ Up! Colors, you can easily find ribbons, paper and embellishments to coordinate. There is so much variety in themes and occasions so you can really express your creativity!

The Stampin’ Up! Mix & Match Ephemera Packs first came out in the current Annual Catalog and I’m so happy that they will continue in the upcoming Stampin’ Up! 2025-2026 Annual Catalog in May. The Fully Flowering and Saying Something ephemera packs will be carried over in the new Annual Catalog and there will be additional new packs, too!

Stampin’ Up! Citrus Blooms Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Citrus Blooms bundle is a fun stamp and die set with images of oranges, lemons, flowers and wonderful sentiments from the current Annual Catalog. The dies are also wonderful with a large, fancy leaf background die that I used on today’s card. I also used the coordinating Mediterranean Blooms designer series paper which has images that can be cut out with the dies. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I adhered a panel of floral Mediterranean Blooms designer series paper to the front of a Lemon Lolly card base. I cut the dark side of the two-tone Garden Green card stock with the large leafy frame dies from the Stampin’ Up! Citrus Blooms dies and adhered it to the card with dots of liquid glue.

I cut the triple orange image from the Mediterranean Blooms DSP with the coordinating die from the Stampin’ Up! Citrus Blooms dies and adhered it to the card with dimensionals. I used the pretty Daffodil Delight ribbon to make a loopy bow and adhered it to the card with a glue dot.

I stamped sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Citrus Blooms stamp set using Garden Green ink on Basic White and cut it out with the medium die from the Mixed Labels dies. I adhered it to the card and finished the card with Garden Green and White transparent dots.

For the inside panel, I stamped the the orange from the Stampin’ Up! Citrus Blooms stamp set using twice stamped off Garden Green ink on a Basic White panel. I trimmed the bottom with DSP and adhered it to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The pretty Stampin’ Up! Citrus Blooms bundle is a fun bundle and the bright Lemon Lolly and Daffodil Delight flowers in the Mediterranean Blooms DSP are so fresh and springy and I am so ready for Spring!

Mixed Florals stamp set with the pretty sentiment from the Labeled with Love stamp set o make an monochromatic black and white card for today. I stamped the daisy image from the Stampin’ Up! Mixed Florals stamp set using Versamark ink on a Basic Black panel. I sprinkled it with white embossing powder and shook off the excess. I heated the powder with my heat tool until it was bright and shiny and popped it on the card with dimensionals.

Stampin’ Up! Thankful Garden Sneak Peek for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! The Stampin’ Up! Thankful Garden is part of the new Online Exclusives release that will be available on March 4. It includes a pretty floral stamp set with coordinating dies and there is also a set of designer series paper that goes with it – the Lovely Garden designer series paper. I used both of these for a simple encouragement card. You can find the currently available supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post and I also included a picture of the bundle and the beautiful DSP as well.

We have a pretty sketch challenge this week:

I adhered a panel of Lovely Garden designer series paper to the front of a Garden Green card base with liquid glue. I adhered a colorful panel of the DSP to a Basic Black mat and adhered it to the card with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Thankful Garden stamp set using Versamark ink on Basic Black and sprinkled it with white embossing powder. I shook off the excess and heated the powder with my heat tool until it was bright and shiny. I cut out the sentiment with the long label die from the Delightful Wishes dies.

I adhered the label to the card with glue dots and dimensionals and finished with three Melon Mambo glossy dots.

For the inside, I stamped the flower from the Stampin’ Up! Thankful Garden stamp set using twice stamped off Melon Mambo ink on Basic White. I trimmed the bottom with DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal. Isn’t that big flower impressive!

The Stampin’ Up! Thankful Garden bundle is so bold and the beautiful Lovely Garden DSP is so colorful and bright. Here is a picture of the stamp set and dies that are included in the bundle. There is also a set of masks for coloring the flowers, but I forgot to include it in the picture. I need to use the masks to color one of these flowers soon!

And here is the pretty DSP. It will be great for all sorts of Spring card making.

These products are part of the Lovely Garden Suite Collection and will be available next week on March 4, 2025!

Stampin’ Up! So Sincere for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! The Stampin’ Up! So Sincere stamp set from the current Annual Catalog is filled with wonderful sentiments. I picked an inspirational one and paired it with the beautiful new Mixed Media Florals designer series paper and the paper butterfly cutouts for today’s card. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a fun theme challenge this week:

I adhered a panel of Mixed Media Florals designer series paper to a Basic Black mat and popped it on the front of a Poppy Parade card base with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! So Sincere stamp set using Poppy Parade ink on Basic White and cut it out with the Countryside Corners die. I cut a Garden Green panel of the DSP with the next largest size Countryside Corners die and adhered the stamped die cut on top. I adhered the layered die cuts to the card with liquid glue.

I colored two of the paper butterfly cutouts Basic Black. In order to get an intense color, I used the dark Stampin’ Blend and then use the Stampin’ Write marker over it. I found that it wasn’t intense enough with just one. Also I colored the back sides of the butterflies. I adhered them to the card with glue dots applied to the butterfly bodies and finished the butterflies with black sparkle gems.

For the inside, I stamped the small butterflies from the Sketched butterflies stamp set using Garden Green ink on Basic White I trimmed the bottom with DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Mixed Media Florals designer series paper is full of bold, pretty colors that make wonderful cards. The sentiments from the Stampin’ Up! So Sincere stamp set are perfect for many occasions and go well with this pretty DSP. And I just love these versatile paper butterflies!

Stampin’ Up! Simply Said Hello Card

Good Morning! Here’s a simple hello card made with the Stampin’ Up! Simply Said stamp set, featuring the pretty Perennial Lavender designer series paper and the pretty Painted Lavender dies from the current annual catalog. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

My design was inspired by the current challenge in Freshly Made Sketches #673:

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Simply Said stamp set using Gorgeous Grape ink on the front of a Fresh Freesia card base. This stamp set has several simple sentiments that go well with many different designs for any occasion.

I cut a panel of Perennial Lavender designer series paper with the largest circle die from the Stylish Shapes dies. I traced the outline of the die on Gorgeous Grape card stock and fussy cut the circle for a perfect mat. I adhered the DSP to the mat with liquid glue and adhered them both to the card front.

I cut the leaf sprig from the Painted Lavender dies from Lost Lagoon and the double flower stems from Gorgeous Grape. I adhered the leaves and one of the flowers to the card with glue dots. I finished with Purple shimmer gems and a length of white ribbon tied in a knot.

For the inside panel, I left it simple, just trimming the side of a Basic White panel with DSP and adhering the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal. This leaves plenty of room for a personal message.

The Stampin’ Up! Simply Said stamp set is my go to stamp set for a simple front of card sentiment. And the Challenge inspired me to pull out and use some old favorites – the pretty Perennial Lavender designer series paper and Painted Lavender stamp and dies.
