Stampin’ Up! Daisy Lane with Perennial Essence DSP Friendship Card

Good Morning! Today I have a clean and simple – CAS – card that uses the new Stampin’ Up! Daisy Lane cling stamp set, the new Perennial Essence Designer Series paper and the Stampin’ Up! Well Written dies.

This card was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #394 and I really tried to keep it simple in keeping with the CAS philosophy. Check out the FMS394 designer inspiration and other challenge entries. You can find supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I started by cutting a strip of the pretty Perennial Essence DSP and matting it with Flirty Flamingo cardstock.

I then made the pretty daisy by stamping the small daisy from the Stampin’ Up! Daisy Lane cling stamp set in Versamark ink on Vellum cardstock. I then dusted it with white embossing powder and heat set. I punched it with the Medium Daisy punch. I did this twice so that I had two sets of flower petals. I used my bone folder to gently curl the petals back and attached them together using a glue dot. The flower is finished with one of the Perennial Essence Floral Centers embellishments. Look at that shine!

I next die cut the word ‘friend’ using the Stampin’ Up! Well Written dies in Flirty Flamingo and adhered it to the DSP with the fine tipped glue pen. I attached the daisy with a glue dot and attached the DSP panel to a Thick Whisper White card base with dimensionals. That’s it!

The inside is pretty simple too – I accented the whisper white with a strip of the Stampin’ Up! Perennial Essence DSP and added a flirty flamingo mat before attaching it to the card base with snail.

This was a quick card and I was so tempted to dress it up more with ribbon or leaves but decided to leave it be and let the daisy and DSP take the spotlight. What do you think?
