Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Wishes Thank You Card Video Tutorial

Good Morning! Today I’m sharing a Winter Thank You card made with the Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Wishes bundle. This is the card I made during my Facebook Live video tutorial yesterday afternoon and I also used the Winter Snow 3D embossing folder and the Snowflake Splendor designer series paper to make sure I had enough snowflakes. Today’s card was inspired by a set of cards I saw on Pinterest made by Australian Demonstrator Gail Ellis. You can find the supplies I used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

Here is the Facebook Live video showing how I made the card:

I posted a copy of the video in my YouTube channel here so you can view it there if you prefer. Later this week I hope to get a quickie version posted to my channel too.

I embossed a Whisper White panel with the Winter Snow embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a Whisper White note card. I adhered the Snowflake Splendor DSP panels to the Balmy Blue mats and adhered it to the card front with liquid glue. I could not believe that when I was Live, I put my liquid glue on the wrong side of the designer series paper!! So I had to change things up a bit and stamped in Pacific Point instead of Balmy Blue. The color is a little more intense, but everything still goes together beautifully!

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Wishes photopolymer stamp set to a Whisper White panel in Pacific Point ink and cut it out with the Tasteful Labels die. I adhered some Snowflake Splendor ribbon to the back and adhered it to the card front with dimensionals.

I cut two small snowflakes and a medium snowflake from Balmy Blue glimmer paper with the So Many Snowflakes dies from the Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Wishes bundle and adhered them to the card front. I finished the card with a blue gem.

I stamped the snowflakes from the Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Wishes photopolymer stamp set in Pacific Point ink after stamping off in the corners of the inside of the card. I also stamped the outside of the envelope with Pacific Point snowflakes to match.

The Whisper White note cards and envelopes are perfect for a quick little thank you note – they are nice and thick, and don’t need an inside panel. Layered panel card designs like this one are a good use for those little scraps of pretty DSP that you can’t bear to throw out. And sending a quick thank you after Christmas is a nice way to reach out and let the joy of the season linger a little longer.

Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Wishes for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good Morning! Welcome to the Inkin’ Krew Monthly Blog Hop! Our talented team has created projects this month with the theme of Christmas or Happy Holidays so if you are just starting your Christmas cards, you are going to find lots of great ideas! I’ve used the Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Wishes stamp bundle to make a simple red and white snowflake Christmas card. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I embossed a panel of Real Red card stock with the Winter Snow embossing folder and adhered it to a Whisper White mat.

Stampin' Up! Snowflake Wishes - StampinInTheMeadows-02

I die cut the snowflakes from the So Many Snowflakes Dies from the Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Wishes bundle out of Whisper White and adhered them to the embossed panel. I cut two large, one medium and four small snowflakes.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Wishes photopolymer stamp set in Real Red ink on a Whisper White and adhered it to a Real Red mat. I popped it on the embossed panel with dimensionals.

I popped the layered panel with the snowflakes on the front of a Real Red card base with dimensionals. I accented the embossed panel with white Elegant Faceted Gems.

I stamped the sentiment and snowflakes from the Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Wishes stamp set in Real Red ink on a Whisper White panel. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

Such a simple Christmas card made with the beautiful Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Wishes bundle and the Winter Snow embossing folder. I love red and white snowflake Christmas cards – they provide a little twist on blue/sliver/white snowflake cards and are so festive! And these snowflakes are so beautiful and intricate that they make every card just beautiful!!

Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Wishes for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning! Welcome to another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! I pulled out the versatile Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Wishes bundle for today’s card to show a cozy homespun snowflake Christmas card. I paired the Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Wishes bundle with the Plaid Tidings 6″ x 6″ designer series paper. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

We have a sketch challenge this week, and here is the sketch we are using:

I started by stamping the front of a Seaside Spray card base with the large snowflake cluster stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Wishes stamp set using Seaside Spray ink. I cut a panel of the Plaid Tidings designer series paper with one of the Stitched Rectangles Dies and adhered it to a Rococo Rose mat. I popped the layered designer series paper on the card front with dimensionals.

I stamped the large snowflake from the Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Wishes stamp set in Seaside Spray ink on a panel of Whisper White and cut it out with the coordinating die. I stamped the second largest snowflake in Rococo Rose ink on Whisper White and cut it out with the coordinating die. I cut out the medium detailed snowflake from Seaside Spray and layered all the snowflakes together, adhering them with liquid glue. I added light blue adhesive backed gems to the snowflake.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Wishes stamp set in Seaside Spray ink on Whisper White. I cut it out with the Stitched Rectangles Dies using the two step die cutting method. I adhered the label to the card front with Stampin’ Seal and decorated it with another blue adhesive backed gem. I popped the layered snowflake on with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Snowman Season photopolymer stamp set in Rococo Rose ink on a Whisper White panel. I stamped snowflakes from the Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Wishes stamp set in the corners and trimmed the bottom with a strip of the Plaid Tidings DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

This Christmas card reminds me of a warm fleece blanket – the perfect thing for a cold Christmas morning!

Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Wishes Christmas Card Video Tutorial

Good Morning! Today I’m sharing a Christmas card made with the Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Wishes bundle that I made during my Facebook Live video tutorial yesterday afternoon. This is such a simple card, but is amazing because of the touches of silver foil card stock. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

Here is the Facebook Live video showing how I made the card. Note that in the video, I did a lot of prep work ahead of time to move things along:

I will also edit and post a concise tutorial on my YouTube Channel, so look for that soon. You can now view it here.

I embossed a panel of Seaside Spray card stock with the Winter Snow embossing folder and adhered it to a silver foil mat. I wrapped a length of Seaside Spray metallic ribbon around the panel about 1″ from the bottom. I stamped the Merry Christmas sentiment from the Cherish the Season cling stamp set using Versamark ink on a strip of Seaside Spray. I sprinkled it with Silver embossing powder and heat set until shiny. I cut it out with a die from the Ornate Labels Dies.

I cut out the snowflakes from silver foil using the So Many Snowflakes Dies from the Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Wishes bundle. I cut one of the large snowflakes and two of the small snowflakes. I also cut two of the smallest snowflakes from the Christmas Layers Dies. I placed the label on the ribbon and arranged the silver foil die cut snowflakes on the panel, adhering them with liquid glue. I adhered the label with glue dots and added some rhinestones.

I stamped the sentiment from the Cherish the Season stamp set in Seaside Spray ink and stamped some snowflakes in Seaside Spray ink around a Whisper White panel. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Wishes bundle is so versatile for creating snowflake cards for Christmas and for the winter with intricate die cuts that make beautiful snowflakes and other die cuts that cut out stamped snowflakes! The hex frame is also perfect for making a shaker card – you can see one that I made a while back here. Click the image below to get the full details of this bundle in my Online Store.

Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Wishes Shaker Card Video Tutorial

Good Morning! Today I’m sharing a shaker card that I made during my Facebook Live video tutorial yesterday afternoon using the new Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Wishes bundle. This bundle is the most versatile snowflake set and the best yet, consisting of the Snowflake Wishes photopolymer stamp set and So Many Snowflakes Dies. It has so many different snowflake stamps and beautiful dies that can be combined to make many different style snowflake cards. And it has a die for a snowflake frame that I turned into my shaker card. The Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Wishes bundle will be available when the new Aug-Dec Mini Catalog premieres on Aug 4. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

Here is the Facebook Live video showing how I made the card:

I also posted the video to my YouTube Channel and you can view it here if you prefer.

I started by cutting out the frame using the snowflake window die cut from the So Many Snowflakes Dies (available Aug 4) and a Thick Whisper White panel. I embossed the the die cut panel with the Winter Snow embossing folder (available Aug 4). I adhered the window sheet to cover the opening with Tear and Tape. I applied Adhesive Foam strips around the opening making sure the ends were tight so that no sequins would leak through. I applied additional foam strips around the outside of the frame so that it would not bend.

I adhered a panel of the Snowflake Splendor designer series paper to the front of a Pacific Point card base. I die cut six of the small snowflakes from the Christmas Layers Dies from Balmy Blue Glimmer paper (available Aug 4) and placed 5 of them in the center of the DSP panel. I added some snowflake sequins (available Aug 4) and some Whale of a Time sequins (making sure to remove all pink shells) to the center with the die cut snowflakes. I peeled the covering off the adhesive foam strips and adhered the panel to the card front, pressing to make sure the foam strips next to the window were secure.

I stamped the Christmas Cheer sentiment from the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set in Pacific Point ink on a small scrap of Thick Whisper White card stock and cut it out with a stitched die from the Ornate Frames dies. I folded a short length of Iridescent Ribbon (available Aug 4) and adhered it to the card front with glue dots. I adhered the last Balmy Blue small snowflake die cut to the label with multipurpose liquid glue and adhered it to the card over the ribbon with more glue dots. I cut the small intricate snowflake from the So Many Snowflakes dies from Balmy Blue glimmer paper and the medium intricate snowflake from Pacific Point card stock. I adhered these together with multipurpose liquid glue and adhered the snowflake to the card front with glue dots.

Inside the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Wishes stamp set (available Aug 4) in Pacific Point ink on a Whisper White panel. I stamped the snowflake cluster in stamped off Pacific Point ink and trimmed the bottom of the panel with a strip of Snowflake Splendor DSP before adhering it to the inside of the card.

This was the first time I made a shaker card and it was easier than I thought and they are so fun!! The pretty snowflake window die is perfect, and using the pretty Snowflake Splendor DSP (available Aug 4) makes it so easy! This bundle is a definite must have from the new Aug-Dec Mini Catalog, available on Aug 4.
