Stampin’ Up! Eden’s Garden Sneak Peek

Happy Halloween! I don’t have a Halloween card today as trick or treating will begin shortly. I do have another sneak peek at the new Stampin’ Up! Eden’s Garden bundle that will be available on Tuesday! In today’s card, I paired the pretty cling stamp set and Ever Eden specialty designer series paper with the Encircled in Beauty dies to create a fancy filigree medallion for the sentiment. You can find the currently available supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered a panel of Soft Succulent and Gold foil Ever Eden specialty designer series paper to the front of a Soft Succulent card base. I cut a panel of brushed gold foil with the large outline Encircled In Beauty die and the panel of Basic White with both the outline die and the inside detailed die. This makes a pretty lacy circle medallion that fits perfectly in the gold foil, so I adhered them together with small dots of liquid glue.

I cut the medium filigree circle die from Soft Succulent and adhered it to the center of the gold and white circle medallion with liquid glue. I inked up the large leaf sprig from the Stampin’ Up! Eden’s Garden in Soft Succulent, stamped it off and then stamped it in the bottom of a Basic White panel. I Stamped the sentiment in Evening Evergreen over the leaf sprig and cut it out with the third smallest Layering Circles die.

I adhered the sentiment circle to the center of the medallion with dimensionals and adhered the medallion to the card front with liquid glue. I used the pretty new Garden gems to make a jeweled leaf and berry sprig on the bottom of the label where the leaf sprig was stamped. I adhered a Soft Succulent bot to the other side to finish the card front.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Eden’s Garden stamp set in Evening Evergreen in the center of a Basic White panel. I stamped the large leaf sprig several times around the bottom and top (after stamping off) in Soft Succulent, and adhered a strip of Ever Eden DSP to the bottom. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The gold foil touches in the Ever Eden DSP are just beautiful and such an elegant compliment to the pretty greenery and sentiments in the Stampin’ Up! Eden’s Garden cling stamp set. And I hope you like the addition of the Encircled in Beauty dies – it’s wonderful how easily the new products work with what you already have!

Here’s the Stampin’ Up! Eden’s Garden stamp set.

And here’s the pretty Ever Eden specialty designer series paper.

Join me for a Facebook Live this Afternoon!

I’m planning to go live on my Facebook Page at 1:00 ET this afternoon to make Fall floral card with the pretty Hand Penned Petals bundle. Look forward to seeing you then!

Stampin’ Up! Sending Hugs Get Well Card

Good Morning! Today I have another card made with the Stampin’ Up! Sending Hugs bundle. Today’s card uses the sweet floral die cut rather than the stamped image that I did last week (you can see the stamped Sending Hugs card here) and I layered the pretty die cut on die cuts from the Scalloped Contours dies, Hand Penned designer series paper and pretty Highland Heather ribbon. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I cut a Basic White panel with the largest Scalloped Contours die and adhered a panel of Hand penned designer series paper to the middle. I cut a Vellum panel with the second largest Scalloped Contours die and adhered it to the first one with Stampin’ Seal in the middle so it would be covered by the ribbon. I adhered a length of Highland Heather ribbon to the vellum with Stampin’ Seal.

I cut a Highland Heather panel with the large floral die from the Layering Hugs dies in the Stampin’ Up! Sending Hugs bundle. I cut the letters with the Layering Hugs dies in Basic White and adhered them to the floral die cut with small dots of liquid glue. I adhered the die cut to the card front with dimensionals that I cut into strips and applied behind the letters.

I adhered the decorated scalloped die cut panel to the front of a Highland Heather card base with dimensionals and finished the card front with three Gorgeous Grape pearls.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Inspired Thoughts photopolymer stamp set in Highland Heather ink on a Basic White panel. I applied some adhesive sheet to the back of a small Highland Heather panel and and cut out the flower from the Layering Hugs dies in the Stampin’ Up! Sending Hugs bundle. I adhered a strip of Hand Penned DSP to the bottom and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Sending Hugs bundle is pretty with both the stamped version and the die cut version. I love it when bundles are versatile enough to give you two different looks! And any card that sends hugs is a wonderful card!

Stampin’ Up! Sending Hugs Card

Good Morning! If you’re a purple lover, I have a card for you today! I used the Stampin’ Up! Sending Hugs bundle to make today’s card. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I was inspired by the bold and beautiful color palette in Sunday Stamps Challenge SSC263 – Beautiful Blooms:

I started by stamping the large image from the Stampin’ Up! Sending Hugs cling stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black on a Basic White panel and coloring the flowers and leaves with Stampin’ Blends. I used Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Just Jade, Shaded Spruce and Highland Heather.

I used the largest Scalloped Contours die to cut a Gorgeous Grape panel and adhered the image on top. I cut the letters from the Layering Hugs dies from the Stampin’ Up! Sending Hugs bundle using more Gorgeous Grape card stock and adhered them to the panel with tiny dots of liquid glue.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Sending Hugs stamp set in Real Red ink on Basic White and cut it out with the small label die. I adhered it to the panel with dimensionals. I added a Real Red bow and scattered red rhinestones around the arrangement and popped the panel on the front of a Gorgeous Grape card base.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the flower from the Stampin’ Up! Sending Hugs bundle in the corner of a Basic White panel using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored it with Just Jade and Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

I hope you like this card with it’s bold colors. The Stampin’ Up! Sending Hugs bundle has a big, beautiful hugs in the form of a stamped image like my card today or a floral filigree die cut which I’ll use next week. And I think I’ll use a more subtle color palette to show how versatile this beautiful bundle is.

Stampin’ Up! Abstract Impressions Sending Hugs Card Video Tutorial

Good Morning! Today I’m sharing a card that I made yesterday afternoon during my Facebook Live Tutorial. It’s made with the versatile Stampin’ Up! Abstract Impressions photopolymer stamp set and it’s on the retiring list. It’s one of my favorites and on Friday I posted a card with the coordinating dies. Today’s card is all about stamping – specifically two step stamping where two coordinating stamps are used to create one image. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

Here is the Facebook Live video showing how I made the card:

I also posted the video to my YouTube Channel and you can view it here.

I started by embossing a Balmy Blue card stock panel with the Coastal Weave embossing folder and adhering it to a Balmy Blue card base with multipurpose liquid glue. I stamped the flowers and leaves from the Stampin’ Up! Abstract Impressions photopolymer stamp set on a panel of Whisper White. I stamped each using the two step stamping method, by stamping off once with the fuller image to get a lighter color and stamping full strength with the corresponding highlight image. I used Lovely Lipstick for the large rose, Balmy Blue for the three medium flowers and Daffodil Delight for the cluster of small round flowers. I stamped the Leaves in Granny Apple Green and the sentiment in Shaded Spruce.

I added clear Wink of Stella to give the flowers some sparkle and adhered the stamped panel to a Lovely Lipstick mat. I tied a double strand of Linen thread around the panel and tied a bow and then adhered it to the card with dimensionals. I finished it off with three small epoxy drops.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the same flowers at the bottom corner of a Whisper White panel and adhered it to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Abstract Impressions stamp set is one of my all time favorites for creating stamped flowers. There are a variety of flower shapes and sizes and the sentiments are wonderful! And it is on sale at 20% discount as one of the retiring products. Hurry over to my Online Store to check it out!
