Stampin’ Up! Mixed Florals Card

Good Morning! I used the pretty daisy image from the Stampin’ Up! Mixed Florals stamp set with the pretty sentiment from the Labeled with Love stamp set o make an monochromatic black and white card for today. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I embossed a Basic White panel with the Plaster Painting 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a Basic Black card base with liquid glue. I adhered a black and white floral panel of Mixed Media Florals designer series paper to a Basic Black mat and adhered it to the card.

I stamped the daisy image from the Stampin’ Up! Mixed Florals stamp set using Versamark ink on a Basic Black panel. I sprinkled it with white embossing powder and shook off the excess. I heated the powder with my heat tool until it was bright and shiny and popped it on the card with dimensionals.

I stamped sentiment from the Labeled with Love stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink ink on Basic White and adhered it to a basic Black mat. I adhered it to the card with glue dots and finished the card with clear sparkle dots.

For the inside panel, I stamped the the floral sprig from the Stampin’ Up! Mixed Florals stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a Basic White panel. I trimmed the bottom with DSP and adhered it to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

I love the Mixed Media Florals designer series paper and the floral images go well with the stamped daisy from the Stampin’ Up! Mixed Florals stamp set. And I love that sentiment from the Labeled with Love stamp set – the curvy script goes perfect with the flowers. And the sentiment is the perfect start to the week – Enjoy!!

Stampin’ Up! Mixed Florals for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! I used the pretty Stampin’ Up! Mixed Florals bundle with the beautiful Floral Delight designer series paper for a fun fold card today. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a color challenge this week:

I adhered a panel of Floral Delight to a Lemon Lolly panel with liquid glue. I adhered Pool Party gingham vellum to a Basic White panel with Stampin’ Seal (be sure to get the corners) and was pleased that it didn’t show through the vellum. I adhered the layered panel to the front of the Lemon Lolly card base with liquid glue and adhered the card base to the layered DSP panel.

I stamped the flower from the Stampin’ Up! Mixed Florals stamp set using Pecan Pie ink on Basic White. I colored the image with Stampin’ Blends – light Pecan Pie, light Daffodil Delight, light Peach Pie, light Old Olive and dark Pool Party. I cut the flowers out with the coordinating die. I cut the large leaf spray using the die from the Stampin’ Up! Mixed Florals die and adhered it to the card with glue dots. I popped the flower on top with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Mixed Labels stamp set using Pecan Pie ink on Pool Party and cut it out with the coordinating die. I adhered Daffodil Delight ribbon to the card with Stampin’ Seal and adhered the label over the ribbon with glue dots and dimensionals. I finished the card with glossy dots.

For the inside, I stamped the little floral sprig from the Mixed Labels stamp set using Pecan Pie ink on Basic White. I colored it with dark Pool Party and light Old Olive Stampin’ Blends and trimmed the bottom with DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

I love the beautiful flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Mixed Florals bundle and I’m so happy I finally got to use the daisy spray. And while my flowers look like Black Eyed Susans and the end of Summer, I think this is a pretty Spring card!

Stampin’ Up! Mixed Florals Friendship Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! I’m hoping you are enjoying all the new products that were just released this week because I certainly am. So I’ve used the new Online Exclusives Stampin’ Up! Mixed Florals bundle to make today’s friendship card. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a pretty color challenge this week and I used most of the colors in my card:

I adhered a panel of Mixed Media Florals designer series paper to the front of a Boho Blue card base with liquid glue. I cut a Basic White panel with the second largest Perennial Postage dies and embossed it with the new Plaster Painting 3D embossing folder before adhering it to a Boho Blue mat. I adhered it to the card with liquid glue.

I stamped the large tulip stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Mixed Florals stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Basic White. I colored the image with Stampin’ Blends, Flirty Flamingo for the tulips, Granny Apple Green for the leaves and Daffodil Delight for the small flowers. I cut it out with the coordinating die and adhered it to the card with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Mixed Labels stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Boho Blue and cut it out with small label die from the Perennial Postage dies. I stamped the small flower from the Stampin’ Up! Mixed Florals stamp set, cut it out with the coordinating die, and colored it with Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends. I adhered the flower to the card with glue dots and popped the sentiment label on top with dimensionals (I doubled up on the left side). I finished the card with a triple bow made with gold trim and gold flat dots.

For the inside panel, I stamped the floral sprig from the Stampin’ Up! Mixed Florals stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink in the top corner of a Basic White panel and colored it with Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends. I stamped the little ladybug underneath and colored it with Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The flowers in the Stampin’ Up! Mixed Florals bundle are so beautiful and this large stamp is huge, so it easily fills up a card front. It’s a great set for coloring, using any technique and it will be wonderful for sending Spring wishes for any occasion.

We have a pretty sketch challenge this week:

I stamped part of the large floral bouquet from the Stampin’ Up! Mixed Florals stamp set using Smoky Slate ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped another floral sprig in the top corner and colored the flowers and leaves with watercolor pencils. I used Flirty Flamingo and Daffodil Delight for the tulips, Granny Apple Green, Garden Green and Coastal Cabana for the leaves and Balmy Blue for the small flowers.

I adhered a panel of Mixed Media Florals designer series paper (available Jan 7) to the front of a Balmy Blue card base. I adhered the floral panel to Shy Shamrock and Flirty Flamingo mats with liquid glue and popped it on the card with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Mixed Labels stamp set (available Jan 7) using Smoky Slate ink on Balmy Blue and cut it out with the coordinating die. I popped it on the card with dimensionals and finished with a Balmy Blue baker’s twine bow and Flirty Flamingo dots.

For the inside panel, I stamped the floral sprig from the Stampin’ Up! Mixed Florals stamp set using Smoky Slate ink in the top corner of a Basic White panel. I adhered a strip of DSP to the bottom and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.
