Stampin’ Up! In Symmetry Friendship Card

Good Morning! I used the pretty Stampin’ Up! In Symmetry photopolymer stamp set and the pretty Sweet Symmetry designer series paper to make a fun friendship card. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I stamped the large flower from the Stampin’ Up! In Symmetry stamp set in Bumblebee on a on a Basic White panel. I stamped the stem and leaves in Just Jade under the flower and adhered the panel to a Night of Navy mat.

I adhered a panel of Sweet Symmetry designer series paper to a Bumblebee mat and adhered it to the front of a Night of Navy card base. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! In Symmetry stamp set in Night of Navy on a Calypso Coral panel. I adhered the panel to a Night of Navy mat.

I adhered the large flower panel to the card front with dimensionals and adhered the label under it with glue dots. I accented the flower with small Night of Navy Holiday Rhinestones.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the medium flower from the Stampin’ Up! In Symmetry stamp set in Bumblebee ink on the side of a Basic White panel. I stamped the stem and two sets of the small leaves in Just Jade ink under the flower. I stamped the sentiment next to the flower in Night of Navy ink and adhered a strip of the Sweet Symmetry DSP to the bottom. I adhered the panel to a Bumblebee mat and then to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! In Symmetry stamp set is real pretty with graphic floral images and wonderful sentiments. I love the colorful Sweet Symmetry designer series paper. It’s full of pretty small floral designs in geometric patterns. It’s so happy and it’s on sale at 15% off through August 2!

Stampin’ Up! In Symmetry for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! Today’s card is made with the Stampin’ Up! In Symmetry stamp set and the pretty Sweet Symmetry designer series paper. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

We have a sketch challenge this week and here is the sketch we are using:

I adhered the pretty Sweet Symmetry designer series paper to the front of a Calypso Coral card base with liquid glue. I cut a Basic White panel with the fourth smallest Stitched Rectangles die and used my Stamparatus to stamp the images on the die cut panel. I was so focused on trying to be symmetric because of both the name of the stamp set and the symmetry of the card sketch! The Stamparatus was a big help in lining up the flowers, stems and leaves and making sure the two little side flowers were symmetric with the big one!

I stamped the large flower from the Stampin’ Up! In Symmetry photopolymer stamp set in Calypso Coral ink and the stem and leaves in Just Jade ink in the center of the die cut panel. I stamped the little flowers on the side in Bumblebee and the little leaves and stems in Just Jade. I adhered the panel to a Just Jade mat.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! In Symmetry stamp set in Versamark ink and sprinkled it with white embossing powder. I shook off the excess and heat set the powder until it was shiny. I cut the sentiment out with the second smallest long Stitched Rectangles die and adhered it to the bottom of the stamped flowers with glue dots. I adhered the panels to the card front with dimensionals and adhered sequins to the flowers. I colored some white crinkle ribbon with the light Calypso Coral Stampin Blend, tied a bow and adhered the bow to the center flower stem with a glue dot.

For the inside of the card, I adhered a strip of the Sweet Symmetry designer series paper to the bottom of a Basic White panel and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

I love this sentiment from the Stampin Up! In Symmetry stamp set! It is so happy and full of energy and can be used for any occasion or just a note card.
