Stampin’ Up! Sweet As A Peach Card

Hello! One of the prettiest suites in the current Annual Catalog is the You’re A Peach suite with the Stampin’ Up! Sweet As A Peach bundle and You’re A Peach designer series papers. And for the next couple of days, this bundle is on sale with the Savings Are In Bloom promotion, so I had to make a card with the pretty peach blossoms before the end of the month. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I embossed a panel of Pale Papaya with the retiring Macrame 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a Pale Papaya card base. I adhered panels of the pretty floral and striped You’re A Peach DSP to Pear Pizzazz mats and adhered them to the card front with liquid glue.

I stamped the leaves from the Stampin’ Up! Sweet As A Peach photopolymer stamp set in Pear Pizzazz on a Basic White panel and cut it out with the second largest Layering Circle die. I cut a Pear Pizzazz panel with the second largest scalloped circle and adhered them together. I inked up the flower stamp with Pale Papaya ink and used a sponge dauber to apply Calypso Coral to the edges of the flowers. I stamped the flowers on a basic white panel and stamped the flower centers in Soft Suede. I repeated this process so that I had flowers for the inside of the card and I cut them all out with the coordinating die. I popped three die cut flowers on the stamped circle with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Sweet As A Peach stamp set in Soft Suede ink on Pale Papaya and cut it out with the little label die. I adhered the label to the stamped circle with glue dots and popped the circle on the card front with dimensionals. I finished with three blue Waves Rhinestones.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the leaves from the Stampin’ Up! Sweet As A Peach stamp set in Pear Pizzazz in the corners of a Basic White panel. I stamped the sentiments in Soft Suede and stamped the small flowers in stamped off Balmy Blue. I adhered the die cut flowers with liquid glue and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

I’m not sure what color peach blossoms are, but these Pale Papaya and Calypso Coral flowers are pretty! Later in the Summer, it will be nice to make gorgeous peach cards with the Stampin’ Up! Sweet As A Peach bundle, but for now I’ll stick with flowers. So be sure to check it out before it’s gone!!

Stampin’ Up! In Symmetry for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! Today’s card is made with the Stampin’ Up! In Symmetry stamp set and the pretty Sweet Symmetry designer series paper. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

We have a sketch challenge this week and here is the sketch we are using:

I adhered the pretty Sweet Symmetry designer series paper to the front of a Calypso Coral card base with liquid glue. I cut a Basic White panel with the fourth smallest Stitched Rectangles die and used my Stamparatus to stamp the images on the die cut panel. I was so focused on trying to be symmetric because of both the name of the stamp set and the symmetry of the card sketch! The Stamparatus was a big help in lining up the flowers, stems and leaves and making sure the two little side flowers were symmetric with the big one!

I stamped the large flower from the Stampin’ Up! In Symmetry photopolymer stamp set in Calypso Coral ink and the stem and leaves in Just Jade ink in the center of the die cut panel. I stamped the little flowers on the side in Bumblebee and the little leaves and stems in Just Jade. I adhered the panel to a Just Jade mat.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! In Symmetry stamp set in Versamark ink and sprinkled it with white embossing powder. I shook off the excess and heat set the powder until it was shiny. I cut the sentiment out with the second smallest long Stitched Rectangles die and adhered it to the bottom of the stamped flowers with glue dots. I adhered the panels to the card front with dimensionals and adhered sequins to the flowers. I colored some white crinkle ribbon with the light Calypso Coral Stampin Blend, tied a bow and adhered the bow to the center flower stem with a glue dot.

For the inside of the card, I adhered a strip of the Sweet Symmetry designer series paper to the bottom of a Basic White panel and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

I love this sentiment from the Stampin Up! In Symmetry stamp set! It is so happy and full of energy and can be used for any occasion or just a note card.

Stampin’ Up! Very Versailles Beautiful Day Card

Happy Friday! I used the pretty Stampin’ Up! Very Versailles cling stamp set to make a note card wishing you a beautiful day. I paired it with scraps from the beautiful You’re A Peach designer series paper to make a striped background. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered strips of You’re A Peach designer series paper to a Basic White panel. I started at one end where the strip and backing panel lined up evenly and the strips overlapped the side edges and I adhered the strips one at a time, butting them snugly until the panel was covered. I trimmed the overlapping DSP with my trimmer so that my finished panel was 3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″ and I adhered it to an Old Olive mat.

I adhered a Pale Papaya panel to the front of a Thick Basic White card base with liquid glue. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Very Versailles stamp set in Pear Pizzazz ink on a small Pale Papaya panel and cut it out with the Messages die.

I wrapped the striped DSP panel with Pale Papaya ribbon and tied a knot. I adhered the label to the panel on top of the ribbon with dimensionals and adhered the striped panel to the card front with more dimensionals. I finished off the card front with three sequins.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the leaves from the Stampin’ Up! Very Versailles stamp set in Pear Pizzazz ink on a Basic White panel. I cut out the flower trio from the Peach dies using Pale Papaya and adhered them to the leaves with liquid glue. I adhered Pear Pizzazz and Calypso Coral strips of You’re A Peach DSP to the bottom of the panel and adhered the panel to a Pale Papaya mat and then to the inside of the card.

The sentiments from the Stampin’ Up! Very Versailles stamp set are just beautiful! And this is a sweet one for a simple card with the pretty You’re A Peach DSP. The strip technique is a great way to use up the pretty scraps from larger projects that you can’t bear to throw away. And the results are always nice!

Stampin’ Up! Daisy Garden Friendship Card

Good Morning! Summer is really here this week and the summer flowers are blooming! I was inspired by the coneflowers in my garden to color the daisies in the Stampin’ Up! Daisy Garden cling stamp set with Rich Razzleberry Stampin’ Blends for this friendship card. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I stamped the Stampin’ Up! Daisy Garden background cling stamp in Memento Tuxedo Black in on a Basic White panel and colored it with Stampin’ Blends. I colored the flower petals with light Rich Razzleberry and the flower centers with dark Soft Suede and light Cinnamon Cider. I colored the leaves with dark Old Olive and the sky using Light Balmy Blue. I made little circles all over the sky with the Balmy Blue, giving the sky a mottled look.

I cut the daisy image with the 4th largest Stitched Rectangle die and adhered it to a Blackberry Bliss mat. I split a length of white twine and colored each half with Stampin’ Blends – light Balmy Blue and dark Rich Razzleberry. I wrapped them around the panel and tied a bow. I stamped the sentiment from the Many Messages stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on an Old Olive panel and cut it out with the Messages die. I adhered the label to the daisy panel with glue dots just above the twine. I love this little label because it doesn’t hide much of the daisy panel!

I embossed a panel of Fresh Freesia shimmer vellum with the Pretty Flowers embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a Blackberry Bliss card base. I used Stampin’ Seal Adhesive just under the area where the stamped daisy panel would cover it. I popped the stamped panel on top of the embossed vellum with dimensionals and finished the card front by adhering a gold bumblebee trinket to one of the flowers with a glue dot.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the flower from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink in the lower corner of a Basic White panel. I covered the flower with a mask and stamped the stem in Memento Tuxedo Black. I colored the flower the same as the flowers on the front. I love how the Daisy Lane flowers are in the same style as the Daisy Garden flowers! I stamped the sentiment from the Daisy lane stamp set in Rich Razzleberry ink next to the flower and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

I love the Stampin’ Up! Daisy Garden stamp set because the flowers are so cheerful and perfect for summer cards! And its great that the flowers coordinate with the Daisy Lane stamp set because it makes them both more versatile and the sentiments in the Daisy Lane stamp set are just fantastic! And here are the coneflowers blooming in my garden – at least the ones the deer didn’t get yet. LOL.

Stampin’ Up! Sweet As A Peach Video Tutorial

Good Morning, I hope you had a great weekend. Today I’m sharing a fun card made with the Stampin’ Up! Sweet As A Peach bundle. It’s a simple fun fold card that is really easy to make and is so pretty with the You’re A Peach designer series paper! You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

Here is the Facebook Live video showing how I made the card:

I posted a copy of the video in my YouTube channel here so you can view it there if you prefer.

This is a pretty simple fun fold in that it just splits a top fold card front in half, rotates the bottom and turns it on it’s side. Not only that, I did it backwards, making the inside of the card first. I am so confused!! So let’s start at the beginning…

Cut off the bottom 2-3/4″ of a 4-1/2″ x 11″ (scored at 5-1/2″) Calypso Coral card base so you have a 4-1/4″ x 8-1/4″ card base scored at 5-1/2″ and a 2-3/4″ x 4-1/4″ panel. Adhere a panel of floral You’re A Peach designer series paper to the inside of the card with liquid glue. Stamp the little flower and leaf pair from the Stampin’ Up! Sweet As A Peach photopolymer stamp set in Balmy Blue and Pear Pizzazz ink in the top corner of a Basic White panel. Do this a couple of times. Adhere the panel to a Balmy Blue mat and then adhere the layered panel to the inside of the card.

Adhere the floral You’re A Peach DSP to the front flap. Emboss the Basic White panel with the Bark 3D embossing folder and adhere it to the Calypso Coral panel that was cut off the bottom of the card base. Stamp the leaf spray from the Stampin’ Up! Sweet As A Peach stamp set in Pear Pizzazz ink on the Basic White panel and cut it out with the coordinating die from the Peach dies.

Ink up the triple small peaches stamp with Pale Papaya ink and apply some Calypso Coral ink around the edges with a sponge dauber. Stamp the peaches on Basic White and cut them out with the coordinating die. Stamp the sentiment in Pear Pizzazz on Basic White and cut it out with the Messages die. Adhere the label and leaf spray to the embossed panel with glue dots and pop the peaches on the leaf spray with dimensionals.

Adhere the decorated panel to the top flap with Tear & Tape, being careful not to get tape on the section of the panel that touches the inside of the card. Finish off the decorated panel with three sequins and a white bow.

The Stampin’ Up! Sweet As A Peach bundle is really very versatile, with flower and peach stamps, wonderful sentiments and dies that cut everything out and dies that cut out additional mini greenery! I thought I found a good method for lining up the leaf spray stamp so it would be die cut nicely – well that didn’t work out during the video. I think I’ll try doing something similar to the method for lining up stamps with builder punches next! The leaf spray stamp has thin section that can be misaligned if you’re not careful when mounting it on your block. This is good because you don’t have extra stamp material that can pick up ink and make for messy stamping. It’s also good if you want to curve the spray in a different way and not die cut – and this is a beautiful look too! So all in all, I am in love with this beautiful new bundle and I hope you like it too!

Stampin’ Up! Berry Blessings Video Tutorial

Good Morning! Sale A Bration is just around the corner, starting on January 5, 2021 and I have a sneak peek of a fabulous item that you can get. It’s the Stampin’ Up! Berry Blessings stamp set and Berry Delightful designer series paper. This is the card I made during my Facebook Live video tutorial yesterday afternoon and I use both items to make it. You can find the currently available supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

Here is the Facebook Live video showing how I made the card:

I posted a copy of the video in my YouTube channel here so you can view it there if you prefer.

I started by embossing a panel of Night of Navy with the Subtle 3D embossing folder and adhering it to a Night of Navy card base. It’s too bad the the additional texture isn’t very visible in the photos, because this embossing folder adds beautiful striations to the front that contrast with the white lacy edge. I adhered a Whisper White panel to the back of the Berry Delightful designer series paper and adhered two strips of Whisper White that were cut with the Ornate Borders lacy die. I popped the panel on the card front with dimensionals.

I stamped the blueberries using stamps from the Stampin’ Up! Berry Blessings photopolymer stamp set on the Thick Whisper White panel. I stamped the leaves first, the outline in Shaded Spruce and the fill in Granny Apple Green. I stamped the blueberries in Night of Navy for the outline and Pacific Point for the filler. It’s fairly easy to position the filler stamps over the darker stamped outline images. I cut the image out with the large Octagon frame from the Hippo and Friends Dies and adhered it to the card front with dimensionals.

I added a Night of Navy bow with glue dots and three rhinestone gems to finish the card front.

I stamped the filler leaves and blueberries from the Stampin’ Up! Berry Blessings stamp set in Granny Apple Green and Pacific Point in the corners of a Whisper White panel after stamping off. The soft look without the outline images is a nice contrast and shows the versatility of this pretty stamp set. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Berry Blessings stamp set in Night of Navy and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Berry Blessings stamp set comes with the Berry Delightful designer series paper as a Sale A Bration item that is free with the purchase of $100 (before shipping and taxes) beginning on January 5, 2021. Sale A Bration is Stampin’ Up!’s biggest promotion of the year and runs through the end of February! You can see this pretty stamp set in the picture below with samples of the Berry Delightful DSP – note that the samples are 6″ x 6″ but the real DSP pack comes with 12 sheets of 12″ x 12″ double sided designer series paper!

I hope you consider this set as your Sale A Bration free item – I’m sure you won’t be disappointed!

Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Autumn Beautiful Day Card

Good Morning! Today I have CAS clean and simple card that is a sneak peek of the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Autumn stamp set that will be available August 4 when the new August – December 2020 Mini Catalog opens. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I stamped the leaf cluster from the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Autumn stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink on a small panel of Very Vanilla. On top of it, I stamped the sprig in Cinnamon Cider ink and cut out the image with the second smallest Stitched Rectangle die.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Autumn stamp set in versamark ink on a strip of Very Vanilla and sprinkled it with gold embossing powder. I heat set the sentiment until shiny and cut out the words with my paper snips.

I embossed a panel of Very Vanilla card stock with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder and adhered it to a Very Vanilla mat. I applied some Stampin’ Seal in the lower left corner where I wanted to place the stamped panel and wound some gold thread on the adhesive. I adhered the stamped and die cut panel on top with dimensionals. I adhered the gold embossed words with multipurpose liquid glue next to the stamped panel. I popped the panel on the front of a Thick Very Vanilla card base and finished the front with a gold metallic pearl.

I stamped the same design in the lower left corner of a Very Vanilla panel and adhered it to the inside of the card.

The pretty Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Autumn stamp set will be available on August 4. It is a versatile set with two-step stamps, coordinating punches and great sentiments that are suitable for any time of year!

Stampin’ Up! Sending Sunshine for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good Morning! Welcome to the July Inkin’ Krew Monthly Blog Hop! The theme for this month’s hop is Celebrate Summer and I made an ocean sunrise card to share. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

And today’s card is also fits with the summer beach themes in Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration Challenge 343:

I embossed a panel of Bermuda Bay card stock with the Tasteful Textiles 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a Bermuda Bay card base. I adhered a strip of Cinnamon Cider 2020-2022 In Color 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to the side. I wrapped a length of Bumblebee 2020-2021 In Color Twill ribbon around the card front and tied a knot on the left side.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Sending Sunshine photopolymer stamp set to create an ocean sunrise scene on a Whisper White panel. I started by stamping the deep water in Balmy Blue ink and stamped the shallow water over it in Balmy Blue ink after stamping off. I stamped the rising sun in Mango Melody ink and the rocky shore on the left side in Cinnamon Cider ink. I masked the sky and colored the sky with sponge daubers, starting with Calypso Coral on the horizon. Then I sponged some Mango Melody and Bumblebee to extend the light upward. I finished with Balmy Blue, making the sky darker as I went up. I finished the sky by stamping some whisky clouds in Gray Granite after stamping off twice.

I lightly sponged some sand in Crumb Cake and also stamped some sand. I stamped the foliage in Garden Green. I finished off the scene by stamping the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Sending Sunshine stamp set in Mango Melody in the sky and adding touches of Wink of Stella on the sun and the deep water. It’s hard to see the sparkle, but it’s beautiful I person. I adhered the scene to a Cinnamon cider mat and then popped it on the card front with dimensionals. I finished it off with a Just Jade enamel dot.

I stamped and sponged a mini version of the beach scene on the bottom of a Whisper White panel using the same colors and techniques as on the card front. I adhered a strip of the Cinnamon Cider DSP to the left side. I stamped the sentiment in Mango Melody ink and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

Are you planning to spend any time at the beach this summer? If so, I hope your time is perfect! 😊

Stampin’ Up! Floral Essence Beautiful Day Card

Good Morning! Today I am sharing a video that I did yesterday during my Sunday Facebook Live session. At Stampin’ Up! On Stage last month, we made a beautiful card using products from the Peaceful Poppies Suite – the Peaceful Poppies designer series paper with the Painted Poppies and Peaceful Moment stamp sets. Today I am recreating the card using the same sketch but using currently available products – the Stampin’ Up! Floral Essence stamp set with the Perennial Essence designer series paper. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

Here’s the Facebook Live video showing how to make this beautiful card:

I also posted the video to my YouTube channel and you can view it here.

Here is the example card from On Stage in Poppy Parade with the card from the video in Balmy Blue.

I started by stamping the line flower image and leaf image from the Stampin’ Up! Floral Essence stamp set using Balmy Blue ink on the front of a Balmy Blue card base. I adhered the green Perennial Essence DSP with snail at an angle. I adhered the floral Perennial Essence DSP on top of it, but slightly offset. I stamped the sentiment on a panel of Whisper White and tore the bottom. I wrapped it in Mossy Meadow Linen Thread and added a bow and popped it on the card with dimensionals. I finished off the front with three rhinestones.

I stamped the flower from the Stampin’ Up! Floral Essence stamp set around the edge of a Whisper White panel using Balmy Blue ink. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with snail.

Stampin’ Up! Very Versailles Beautiful Day Card

Good Morning! My posts have been light for the past few weeks because of having company and visiting family, but I’m back and ready to roll up my sleeves to bring you some more card ideas. And it’s just in the nick of time because the rollout the Stampin’ Up! 2019 Holiday Catalog is just around the corner! But before I start with holiday items, I want to show you this vintage card made with the Stampin’ Up! Very Versailles cling stamp set from the Stampin’ Up! 2019 – 2020 Annual Catalog. You can find the supplies I used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the cardstock sizes.

Collage cards have been very popular for a long time, and are great for creative expression. You can play with combining different colors and textures, and they often have nature themes and vintage items with a sentimental feel. The Stampin’ Up! Very Versailles stamp set makes it very easy to create a collage card because the elements are perfectly proportioned to each other and they’re very beautiful!

For today’s card, I started with a Very Vanilla panel and stamped the script image in Rococo Rose after stamping off. I then stamped the leaf image over it in Old Olive. I then took the filigree stamp and stamped it in Versamark and then embossed it with Gold embossing powder. I then sponged the edges in Crumb Cake and adhered the panel to a Rococo Rose mat. I finished it with Linen Thread and a bow. I stamped the large flower from the Free as a Bird cling stamp set in Rococo Rose ink. I fussy cut the flower, added a gold metallic pearl to the center and popped it on the collage with a mini dimensional.

I took another panel of Very Vanilla cardstock and ran it through the Pinewood Planks 3D embossing folder and matted it with Rococo Rose and adhered it to a Thick Very Vanilla card base with dimensionals. I added the collage to the card with dimensionals.

To finish off the card front, I embossed the Have a Beautiful Day sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Very Versailles stamp set in gold on a piece of Rococo Rose cardstock and cut it out with the Stitched Nested Labels die. I finished the label with two gold metallic pearls and adhered it with multipurpose liquid glue.

I decorated the inside of the card by stamping the leaf image from the Stampin’ Up! Very Versailles stamp set in Old Olive after stamping off and then stamping the large rose from the Free as a Bird stamp set in Rococo Rose after stamping off.

The Stampin’ Up! Very Versailles stamp set updates the Collage Card concept with fresh images that can be combined with several other stamps in the catalog for easily making unique Collage Cards with that vintage feel. I hope you try it. Thanks for visiting and have a great weekend!
