Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch Card

Good morning! The Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch stamp set along with the Pansy Dies are one of the prettiest Spring flower stamp and die sets ever. The set has pretty sentiments, along with stamped and die cut pansies that are both wonderful. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I adhered a panel of Poetic Expressions designer series paper to the front of a Pool Party card base. I stamped the Countryside Corners stamp on a Pool Party Panel and cut it out with the second largest octagon die. I cut another Pool Party Panel with the third largest die and embossed it with the Countryside Blossoms embossing folder and adhered it to the stamped octagon. I popped the panel on the card with dimensionals.

I made a die cut pansy using the Pansy dies from Blackberry Bliss, Daffodil Delight and Basic White. I cut the large center die from Daffodil Delight and two of the side petals from Basic White. I cut the borders in Blackberry Bliss and adhered the borders to the petals with liquid glue. I adhered the large petals to the center petal and cut the flower center pieces from Blackberry Bliss and Basic White. I made the bud with Basic White and Daffodil Delight and the stems and leaves from Garden Green.

I adhered the assembled bud to the card with glue dots and popped the large pansy flower on the card with dimensionals. I tucked three large leaves and one small leaf under the flower, adhering them with glue dots. I made a Pool Party bow and adhered it with a glue dot. I finished the card front with three small gold sequins.

For the inside of the card, I decided to stamp a pansy using the Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch stamp set on a Basic White panel. I stamped the small flower detailed stamp in stamped off Blackberry Bliss and the center in Daffodil Delight. With the darker outline, it was easy to line up the Daffodil Delight center. I covered the flower with a mask and stamped the leaves in Garden Green. I finished by stamping the center in Blackberry Bliss and trimming the bottom of the panel with DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

I am always anxious to plant flowers in the spring when it’s too early, so pansies are my go to since they can stand up to the cold nights. And This week I managed to get some in the ground by my mailbox, so I had to make a card using the pretty Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch stamp and dies to celebrate. Sadly, these pretty items are on the retiring list, and beginning April 9, the dies will be on sale!

Stampin’ Up! Perennial Postage Card

Good Morning! I’ve been busy with cleaning out my craft room and organizing my supplies. This seems to be never ending, but I did manage to make a quick card with the Stampin’ Up! Perennial Postage bundle. I am CASE’ing a card from the Mini Catalog, but with so much of a mess, I was inspired to combine the old with the new and pair the new bundle with the Countryside Inn designer series paper. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

The Countryside Inn Suite in the Annual Catalog is such a pretty set of products, and there are so many different floral and graphic patterns in the DSP, so I thought it would be great with a layered postage stamp card. I started by embossing a Boho Blue panel with the Countryside Blossoms embossing folder and adhered it to a Boho Blue mat. I popped it on a Boho Blue card base with dimensionals.

I cut several different squares and rectangles of the Countryside Inn designer series paper using the large square and a couple of the rectangle dies from the Stampin’ Up! Perennial Postage dies. I tried to replicate the pattern in the catalog, but I had to change it up, so that it looked right to me. And then I wanted to make sure I got the bunny in there above where I wanted to put the label. I laid them all out and then took a picture and adhered them with liquid glue. And then I changed the arrangement from my picture, but the bunny is in the right place.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Perennial Postage stamp set in Versamark ink on Misty Moonlight. I sprinkled it with white embossing powder and shook off the excess. I heated it with my heat tool until it was bright and shiny and cut it out with one of the rectangle postage stamp dies. I used the two step method, so it’s just a little longer, but it’s so easy to do with these dies. I adhered some Boho Blue ribbon with some Stampin’ Seal and popped the label on top with dimensionals. I finished with three Misty Moonlight tinsel gems.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the flowers and stems from the Lasting Joy stamp set in Night of Navy and Boho Blue on a Basic White panel. They go so nicely with the Countryside Inn designer series paper. I cut the edge of a strip of DSP with the second largest postage square rectangle from the Stampin’ Up! Perennial Postage dies and adhered it to the the panel. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

I love how easy it is to combine two pretty Stampin’ Up! suites and make a card. The Stampin’ Up! Perennial Postage dies are so versatile!

Stampin’ Up! Timeless Arrangements Thank You Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Timeless Arrangements bundle is such a pretty set with it’s die cut flowers and leaves that go with the pretty labels and all the wonderful sentiments! I paired it with the pretty Countryside Inn designer series paper and Countryside Blossoms embossing folder to make a sweet Thank You card. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I embossed a panel of Boho Blue card stock with the pretty Countryside Blossoms embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a Night of Navy card base with liquid glue. I cut a panel of Countryside Inn DSP with the largest circle from the Stylish Shapes dies and adered it to the card front.

I cut a Night of Navy panel with the large leaf sprig die from the Stampin’ Up! Timeless Arrangements dies. I cut two of the small leaf sprigs from Night of Navy and adhered them to the large die cut bar. I used a blending brush to apply Boho Blue ink to BasicWhite panel and cut three flower clusters. I adhered the flower clusters to the Night of Navy leaf sprig die cuts with liquid glue. I stamped two flowers in Boho Blue ink on Basic White and cut them out with the coordinating die. I adhered them to the ends of the die cut and adhered the die cut to the card front with glue dots.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Timeless Arrangements stamp set in Night of Navy ink on Basic White and cut it out with the small label die. I adhered the die to the card with dimensionals over the die foliage. I made a bow with Night of Navy ribbon and adhered it to the card with glue dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the flower from the Stampin’ Up! Timeless Arrangements stamp set in Boho Blue ink in the corner of a Basic White panel. I trimmed the bottom with a strip of Countryside Inn DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Timeless Arrangements bundle easily makes a fancy and beautiful card! Add a little patterned paper and embossing and you have a beautiful card that anyone would love to receive.
