Stampin’ Up! Stippled Roses Sneak Peek

Good Morning! Today I have a sneak peek of one of the new bundles that will be available in the upcoming January-April 2024 Mini Catalog – the Stampin’ Up! Stippled Roses bundle! Since I attended the Stampin’ Up! OnStage@home event, I was able to purchase this beautiful bundle early and it’s definitely a favorite! The artwork and sentiments are gorgeous and the dies just beautiful! You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I secured the houndstooth plaid (or bats) mask from the Abundant Beauty Masks over a Basic White panel and applied Pebbled Path ink over parts of the panel with a Blending Brush. Next, I embossed the panel with the Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a Thick Basic White card base.

I used Stampin’ Seal to adhere a strip of Natural ribbon to the card front. I cut two of the leaf cluster dies from Old Olive card stock using the Stampin’ Up! Stippled Roses dies. Look at the detail in those leaves! I adhered the leaves to the card front with glue dots.

I stamped the large floral cluster from the Stampin’ Up! Stippled Roses stamp set in Pebbled Path ink on Basic White. I used the light Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend to add some yellow highlighting in the shadowy parts of the flowers and used the light Old Olive Stampin’ Blend to add some color to the leaves. I cut the flowers out with the coordinating die and adhered them to the card front with dimensionals. I finished the card front with Lemon Lolly Faceted dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the pretty thank you sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Stippled Roses stamp set in Pebbled Path ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped part of the large flower in a corner using Pebbled Path ink and colored it like the flowers on the card front using light Daffodil Delight and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

This pretty card design was inspired by the floral card in the Birthday Card Organizer Kit. I love the partial coloring and the contrast of the elegant florals with the plaid and natural ribbon. I did the roses in yellow because I love yellow roses, but I think they could be done in any color. And this beautiful image can be colored in so many ways – or not colored and left monochromatic! Here are the stamps and dies that are included in the bundle:

The Stampin’ Up! Stippled Roses Stamp set is item #162657 ($27) and the dies are item #162666 ($33). The bundle is item #162667 ($54). These items will be available on Jan 4, 2024 when the new January – April 2024 Mini Catalog is open for ordering. And there will also be a coordinating pack of 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper that will be available as a free Sale-A-Bration item that you can choose with a $50 order during Sale-A-Bration! Sale-A-Bration will run from January 4, 2024 – February 29, 2024. I can’t wait!

Stampin’ Up! Cottage Wreaths Grateful Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Cottage Wreaths photopolymer stamp set and coordinating Country Wreaths dies are a great set for making wreath cards. The weather has gotten cold and I wanted to make some Fall themed cards, so I pulled these out and combined them with the Inked And Tiled stamp set to make a Thanksgiving card. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I adhered a plaid panel of Them Bones designer series paper to the front of a Cajun Craze card base with liquid glue. I wanted a floral panel to coordinate, but the Them Bones DSP only had bats and skeletons, so I decided to make one. I stamped a Pumpkin Pie panel with the flower from the Inked and Tiled stamp set in Cajun Craze ink. I stamped randomly all over the panel. I stamped the little fluff stamp in stamped off Pebbled Path ink randomly around the panel. Finally I embossed the panel with the Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder and adhered it to a Cajun Craze mat. I popped it on the card front with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Cottage Wreaths stamp set in Cajun Craze ink on the bottom of a Crumb Cake panel and cut it out with the tag die from the Merriest Trees dies. I cut a Cajun Craze panel with the wreath from the Country Wreath dies and adhered it to the tag with a glue dot. I looped a length of Pebbled Path jute through the tag hole and tied a knot and popped the tag on the card front with dimensionals.

I used my dark Cajun Craze Stampin’ Blend to color a length of gingham ribbon and tied a bow. I adhered the bow to the top of the wreath with a glue dot – I love how it picks up on the plaid background! I finished the wreath with Pebbled Path gems.

I left the inside of the card blank, and just adhered a strip of Plaid DSP to the bottom of a Very Vanilla panel before adhering it to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

This was a fun diversion from Christmas cards. Making your own DSP is always fun, and it’s great that I’m able to match ink colors to DSP and get a look that coordinates well. And I’m glad that I was able to use the Stampin’ Up! Cottage Wreaths stamp set again, it’s one of my favorites!

Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves I’m Thankful Card

Good Morning! We just got back to Pennsylvania after spending a few weeks in Arizona and luckily we made it before the Fall foliage peaked (I think). So I was inspired to pull out the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves bundle along with the beautiful All About Autumn 6″ x 6″ specialty designer series paper (Yay – It’s back in stock!!) to make a quick fall card. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I used the pretty sketch in the Paper Players Sketch Challenge: PP663.

I embossed a panel of Copper Clay with the beautiful Leaf Fall 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a Copper Clay card base. I cut two panels of All About Autumn 6″ x 6″ specialty designer series paper and adhered them to the card front with liquid glue.

I cut a maple leaf using the small die from the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves dies from Crushed Curry card stock and I used a sponge dauber to add some Pumpkin Pie ink to the die cut. I adhered a length of Copper Clay ribbon to the card front with Stampin’ Seal and adhered the die cut leaf on top with glue dots.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves photopolymer stamp set in Copper Clay ink on Very Vanilla. I cut the label out with the label die and adhered it to the card with dimensionals. I finished the card with Copper Clay dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the large maple leaf from the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves stamp set in Crushed Curry ink in the corners of a Very Vanilla Panel. I stamped the sentiment in Copper clay and adhered a strip of leafy DSP to the bottom. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

I love how all the different types of maples have different colors for fall. Here’s the Sugar Maple in our yard, just starting to peak – so pretty! But, I’m sure this is going to leave us a mess to rake next week.

The beautiful scenes in the All About Autumn DSP make it so easy to create pretty cards. And the images, sentiments and dies in the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves bundle are perfect with them!

Stampin’ Up! Gorgeously Made Thank You Card

Good Morning! Here’s another card made with the pretty Stampin’ Up! Gorgeously Made bundle and the colorful Masterfully Made designer series paper. This time I was inspired by the pretty torn floral designs to make torn floral embellishments to decorate the card! You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I adhered a pretty floral panel of Masterfully Made designer series paper to a Melon Mambo mat with liquid glue. I adhered the panel to the front of a Pretty Peacock card base with dimensionals.

I cut a Basic White panel with the broad leaf sprig die from the Stampin’ Up! Gorgeously Made dies and adhered it to the card front with dots of liquid glue. I tore a rough circle from Fresh Freesia and tore it again in a spiral. Starting in the center, I wrapped the spiral into a flower, using liquid glue to adhere the layers underneath. I tore another small crescent of Fresh Freesia and wrapped it in a cone and adhered it to the center of the flower. I finished the flower with a rhinestone. I made similar flowers from Berry Burst and Melon Mambo and adhered the flowers to the die cut leaf sprig with glue dots.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Gorgeously Made stamp set in Pretty Peacock ink on Lemon Lime Twist. I cut it out with the label die and adhered it to the card with glue dots. I made a knot with a small length of Lost Lagoon ribbon and adhered it to the card with a glue dot. I finished the card with pink adhesive sequins.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the bold leaf image from the Stampin’ Up! Gorgeously Made stamp set in stamped-off Lost Lagoon ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the script stamp in twice stamped-off Berry Burst ink and the long line stamp in Fresh Freesia. I trimmed the bottom with a strip of DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

Another simple and pretty card made with the Stampin’ Up! Gorgeously Made bundle. The beautiful and colorful Masterfully Made designer series paper is such an inspiration for trying different techniques. It inspired these flowers along with the old spiral flower dies and each flower comes out different. It was fun to make – give it a try!

Stampin’ Up! Pick Of The Patch for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good Morning! Welcome to the September Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop! The theme for this month’s hop is “Giving Thanks” and I used the Stampin’ Up! Pick of The Patch bundle to make today’s card. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post and I included the card stock cuts in the description of each card

I embossed a Crumb Cake panel with the Exposed Brick 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a Pecan Pie card base. I adhered a Pecan Pie plaid panel of the Lets Go Fishing designer series paper to the embossed panel with liquid glue.

I stamped a little fall pumpkin scene on Very Vanilla with the Stampin’ Up! Pick Of The Patch stamp set. I stamped the tree in Pecan Pie and the leaves in Daffodil Delight. I stamped the smaller pumpkins in stamped off Wild Wheat, Calypso Coral and Petal Pink. I cut masks and used them to stamp the stems in Pecan Pie. I stamped more leaves in Daffodil Delight on the ground and cut the scene out with the largest circle from the Stylish Shapes dies.

I adhered the circle to the card with liquid glue. I stamped the larger pumpkins from the Stampin’ Up! Pick Of The Patch stamp set in Calypso Coral, stamped off Lost Lagoon and stamped off Crumb Cake on Very Vanilla and punched them out. I stamped speckles on the pumpkins using the same colors. I punched out stems from Pecan Pie card stock and adhered them to the back of the pumpkins. I adhered the two smaller pumpkins to the card with glue dots and the larger pumpkin with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Pick Of The Patch stamp set in Pecan Pie ink on Very Vanilla and cut it out with the long skinny die from the Stylish Shapes dies using the two step method. I adhered it to the card with dimensionals and glue dots and adhered a loopy Linen Thread bow underneath. I finished the card with Very Vanilla dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Pick Of The Patch stamp set in Pecan Pie on a Very Vanilla Panel. I stamped the pumpkin in Calypso Coral ink and covered it with a mask before stamping the stem in Pecan Pie. I stamped speckles on the pumpkin and adhered a strip of DSP to the bottom before adhering the Very Vanilla panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

I just love the Stampin’ Up! Pick Of The Patch bundle – it has so many pretty pumpkin stamps! And I love the coordinating stamps and great sentiments too!

Stampin’ Up! Textured Floral for World Card Making Day with Video

Good Morning and Happy Monday! I hope you had a great Fall weekend! If you happened to catch the Inkin’ Krew World Card Making Day Event, maybe you got a chance to see the video for my Stampin’ Up! Textured Floral fun fold card. If not, I’ve linked up the video below so you can check it out. You can also find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

Here is the video that I made for the Inkin’ Krew WCMD event. You can also view it on my YouTube Channel:

I adhered the floral panels of Garden Walk 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to the inside and short front flap of the Calypso Coral card base with liquid glue. I adhered the dotted DSP to the short Calypso Coral panel that I cut off the front flap.

After adhering the floral DSP to the card base, I worked on the inside. I stamped the flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Textured Florals stamp set in Calypso Coral ink in the lower corner of a Basic White panel. I stamped the stems in Garden green ink and then adhered the panel to a Calypso Coral mat with Stampin’ Seal. I then adhered the layered inside panel to the floral inside of the card, centering the panel on the designer series paper.

Then I adhered the layered dotted designer series paper panel to the short front flap with liquid glue, being careful to apply glue to only the left half of the panel. I also wanted to make sure that the inside panel was covered and the liquid glue gave me the wiggle room to make sure it was placed properly.

I cut the wide leaf sprig die from the Stampin’ Up! Textured Floral dies from Garden Green and the small leaf sprig die from Lost lagoon. I adhered the leaf sprigs to the dotted panel with bits of glue dots (I think liquid glue would work too). I stamped the flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Textured Floral stamp set in Calypso Coral ink on Basic White and stamped the stems in Garden Green. I cut out the flowers with the coordinating die and adhered it to the panel with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Textured Floral stamp set in Lost Lagoon ink on Basic White and cut it out with the long skinny banner die from the Stylish Shapes dies. I adhered the label to the card front with dimensionals and finished the card with Calypso Coral Iridescent gems and a knotted length of Lost Lagoon ribbon.

I love how the greenery dies and stamped flowers in the Stampin’ Up! Textured Florals bundle compliment the Garden Walk 6″ x 6″ designer series paper. And the simple fun fold gives the card just a little something extra.

Stampin’ Up! Pick Of The Patch Thank You Card

Good Morning and Happy Friday! Today’s card uses the Stampin’ Up! Pick Of The Patch bundle and is CASE’d from the Sept – Dec 2023 Mini Catalog – I loved the layered Countryside Corners dies and stamped top panel, so I wanted to try to make something similar. I did make some changes and you can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I adhered a panel of One Horse Open Sleigh 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to the front of a Crumb Cake card base with liquid glue. I cut a panel of Basic White with the second largest Countryside Corners die and embossed it with the Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder before adhering it to the card front.

I used a Blending Brush to apply Pool Party ink to a Basic White panel and stamped pumpkins and leaves from the Stampin’ Up! Pick Of The Patch photopolymer stamp set all over – kind of like making your own DSP. I used Gray Granite and stamped off Pumpkin Pie for the pumpkins, stamped off Wild Wheat and Crumb Cake for the leaves and Pecan Pie for the vines and stems. I cut it out with the third largest Countryside Corners die and popped it on the card front with dimensionals.

I stamped the large pumpkin from the Stampin’ Up! Pick Of The Patch stamp set in Pumpkin Pie and Petal Pink and punched them out. I stamped the sentiment in Pecan Pie and punched it out. I punched stems from Pecan Pie and leaves from Old Olive and adhered them to the pumpkins before adhering them to the card with dimensionals. I made a linen thread bow and adhered it to the back of the sentiment and popped it on the card front with dimensionals. I finished with Crumb Cake speckled dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Pick Of The Patch stamp set in Pecan Pie ink on a Basic White panel. I adhered a strip of One Horse Open Sleigh DSP to the bottom of the panel and adhered a punched pumpkin to the corner. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin Seal.

The projects in the catalogs are great inspiration for using stamp sets and designer series paper. There are so many different styles and techniques that are used and it’s fun to experiment and try different things. I hope you like my version of this thank you card made with the Stampin’ Up! Pick Of The Patch bundle.

Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! Here’s another simple Thank You card made with the beautiful Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves bundle and the All About Autumn 6″ x 6″ specialty designer series paper. This is a very simple and elegant Z-Fold card that focuses on a beautiful woodland morning scene in the DSP. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a theme challenge this week:

This beautiful DSP looks nice when folded, but I cut the panels so that they would flow together forming a nice wide woodland scene with the inside panel in the center. I started by cutting the bottom so that the length was 5-1/4″. Then I cut 2″ from the right side and 1-7/8″ twice. This gives me my three panels for the card and leaves little strips for my pretty scrap bin.

I adhered the right panel to the right side of the Very Vanilla panel and stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves stamp set in Copper Clay ink on the bottom of the Very Vanilla panel. I adhered the panel to the right side of a Wild Wheat Z-Fold card base with Stampin’ Seal.

I adhered the two 1-7/8″ wide All About Autumn DSP panels to the left and middle sections of the card base with liquid glue. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves stamp set in Versamark ink on a Very Vanilla panel. I sprinkled it with copper embossing powder and shook off the excess. I heated it with my heat tool until it was bright and shiny and cut it out with the label die from the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves dies.

I folded a length of copper ribbon and adhered it to the back of the label with Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the label to the front flap with dimensionals. I cut Crushed Curry and Pecan Pie panels with the leaf dies from the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves dies and adhered them to the right side, positioning them under the label.

I finished the card with Crumb Cake dots. The All About Autumn 6″ x 6″ specialty DSP is so pretty and it’s sad that it sold so quickly. Hopefully it will be re-stocked next week as scheduled.

Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves Note Cards Sneak Peek

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! September-December 2023 Mini Catalog will be open for orders beginning September 6, 2023 and it is chock full of fun products for fall and holiday crafting. I used one of the new bundles, the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves bundle to make some thank you cards along with the beautiful All About Autumn 6″ x 6″ specialty designer series paper. You can find the currently available products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I adhered the picture side of the All About Autumn specialty 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to the right side of a fall colored card stock and a strip of the foil side to the left side. I used Crushed Curry and Mossy Meadow card stock as my mats, but you can pick any color that goes with the images.

I adhered the layered DSP panel to the front of a Basic White note card. The note cards come pre-scored, but I did find that it was better to score them with my scoreboard (or your paper trimmer scoring blade) before burnishing with my bone folder – don’t know why it took me so long to try this. The note cards are pretty thick, they come with envelopes and they can be mailed!

I stamped the sentiment from the new Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves photopolymer stamp set in Copper Clay ink on Basic White and cut the label out with the long die from the Autumn Leaves dies. I adhered the label to the card front. I cut a small maple leaf from fall colored card stock and adhered it to the card front, either behind or on top of the label.

So quick and simple – and pretty! The All About Autumn patterns that I used are multi directional, so you can get 4 panels from each sheet with a little square left over. So it’s perfect for making multiples. I left the insides blank so there’s room for writing a message. And if you need something more, add an embellishment and bow!

Here is the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves bundle. I barely scratched the surface of the creative potential of this bundle.

And here is the beautiful All About Autumn 6″ x 6″ specialty designer series paper. The copper foil accents are so pretty!

Are you excited for Fall crafting? If so consider the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves bundle and the beautiful All About Autumn 6″ x 6″ specialty designer series paper. These will be available on September 6, 2023 when the new Mini Catalog opens for ordering!

Stampin’ Up! Timeless Arrangements Thank You Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Timeless Arrangements bundle is such a pretty set with it’s die cut flowers and leaves that go with the pretty labels and all the wonderful sentiments! I paired it with the pretty Countryside Inn designer series paper and Countryside Blossoms embossing folder to make a sweet Thank You card. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I embossed a panel of Boho Blue card stock with the pretty Countryside Blossoms embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a Night of Navy card base with liquid glue. I cut a panel of Countryside Inn DSP with the largest circle from the Stylish Shapes dies and adered it to the card front.

I cut a Night of Navy panel with the large leaf sprig die from the Stampin’ Up! Timeless Arrangements dies. I cut two of the small leaf sprigs from Night of Navy and adhered them to the large die cut bar. I used a blending brush to apply Boho Blue ink to BasicWhite panel and cut three flower clusters. I adhered the flower clusters to the Night of Navy leaf sprig die cuts with liquid glue. I stamped two flowers in Boho Blue ink on Basic White and cut them out with the coordinating die. I adhered them to the ends of the die cut and adhered the die cut to the card front with glue dots.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Timeless Arrangements stamp set in Night of Navy ink on Basic White and cut it out with the small label die. I adhered the die to the card with dimensionals over the die foliage. I made a bow with Night of Navy ribbon and adhered it to the card with glue dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the flower from the Stampin’ Up! Timeless Arrangements stamp set in Boho Blue ink in the corner of a Basic White panel. I trimmed the bottom with a strip of Countryside Inn DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Timeless Arrangements bundle easily makes a fancy and beautiful card! Add a little patterned paper and embossing and you have a beautiful card that anyone would love to receive.
